Saw a post where someone wasn't sure if Tim being good at computers was a fanon thing or not and friend I am happy to inform you that he's been a computer/tech guy from some of his earliest appearances in the comics.
Detective Comics (Vol. 1) #620 (Rite of Passage part 4) - immersed in the ~web~
Robin II: The Joker's Wild #3 - tabletop roleplaying games and spending hours in the basement on the computer - not beating the geek allegations on these fronts, Timmy
Detective Comics (Vol. 1) #676 - Dick was more into traditional detective work and tended to outsource the computer stuff in these days
Batman (Vol. 1) #514 (Prodigal part 10) - hackin' through all the garbage and garble
Robin (1993) #33 - Robin sneaking in and connecting Oracle with the baddies' mainframe so she can do her thing and steal all their data >:)
Nightwing (1996) #6 - "no you're really talented and well suited to be Robin." "no, you." "no, YOU!"
Tim is definitely not as good as Babs/Oracle, but he's certainly her back-up for computer work in the 90's batfam. They're tech buddies and Robin!Tim is her little assistant sometimes, it's super cute:
Birds of Prey (1999) #19 - happy to play with big sister's fancy high-powered toys
Legends of the Dark Knight (1989) #125 - real cute kid
And Dick will hand off computer jobs to his little brother when he doesn't want to bother Babs 😂 (that outsourcing I mentioned):
Nightwing (1996) #68 - examine them pixel by pixel, eh? welp, sounds like a job only you can do, Timbo, you got this buddy, byyyyeeeee
And then when he'd grown up and been doing this for years, he leveled up accordingly, and did stuff like use his access to the League of Assassins computers to overload the generators in every base he could find, etc. etc.
Red Robin (2009) #8 - yeah that was pretty dumb of you Ra's :)
So yeah, it was a bit of a specialty of Tim's, in large part because he was introduced just at the turn into the 90's, when personal computers were really starting to take off and become widespread. (Robins gotta be cutting edge and all)
Of course, by no means does it follow that the other Bats suck at computers (there is no 'smart one' they are all incredibly smart and capable). This is especially true as reboots and the sliding timescale of comics have moved the DC characters into modern times, where computers run the world and everyone grows up with one in their pocket. The baseline familiarity and expertise that everyone can be expected to have is just much, much higher these days.
It gets exaggerated in fanon as all character traits do, but computer guy Tim is definitely not something just made up out of whole cloth :)b

The fact they they un-ironically included the classic ‘dad leaving the family by driving away’ scene has mean rolling.
Completely fucks up Jason’s brain chemistry, traumatizes Tim and Damian, and then goes ‘guess my work here is done 🤷♂️’ followed by ‘they’re your problem now.’
Bruce be like all crime is bad then immediately commits child abandonment.

Being a competent or semi-put-together friend must be so hard. I imagine Barbara frequently gets calls, emails, or has to navigate late-night breakdowns over the comms a ton. She probably has to give advice even though she too struggles with a lot of the same stuff, or even when she has no idea how to. The person on the other end probably tells her how great it is that she knows so much, when the truth is that she's already been through college applications, or learnt to balance life just a little better. But she has to pretend for the other person that it's possible to be happy or make it through.

Pre-Crisis Dick Grayson/Barbara Gordon moments that are still canon in my book
Albeit with some tweaks.
The first meeting. Dick shows Babs some kindness and Babs shows up the Dynamic Duo. Dick's impressed to say the least.
Bruce and Babs fight over Dick, and Dick choosing Babs👀.
Dick rescues Babs from a grisly doom and the pair prove to be a great team in the absence of Batman, plus, maybe the attraction isn't so one way.
Dick and Babs become the New Dynamic Duo; they have that infamous kiss, show some deadly teamwork and grow to be really comfortable with each other.
It's not not flirting; identities become less secret and feelings become more apparent.
"Any friend of Dick's is a friend of mine", she says to Dick's girlfriend! Dick's college girlfriend Lori becomes jealous of Babs and you can't say she's not on to something with the two of them.
A wedding themed caper ensured more shenanigans and more flirting.
Barbara asserts some necessary boundaries but the flirting doesn't cease and their feelings don't just disappear.
Dick finally confesses his feelings but Barbara was "asleep". He decides his advances were a mistake but we know she heard everything.
I feel that these early moments informed their relationship a lot. They were always cute together but they've always seemed a bit star-crossed and yet stayed close in spite of it. It shows much they mean to each other and how hard they've worked at their relationship(s)/friendship that they remained such important people in each others' lives since Barbara's injury. Whichever way the wind blows, I'm confident these two will always have each other and that's really pretty.
Sources: Detective Comics #359, 400 and 401, and Batman Family #1, 2, 4, 5, 9, 10, 11 and 13.
