I really wish Kaveh wasn’t an on-field Dendro driver—compared to other Dendro dps characters like Alhaitham and Tighnari, his gameplay and damage just doesn’t live up to certain expectations for a dps.

I know mihoyo wanted to create a bloom as a strong reaction on its own without having to rely on Nilou, but oh my god, I wish they’d done it differently. I feel like they’re regretting making Nilou so powerful since her bountiful cores are just too strong for a character primarily used off-field and they probably wanted to release a four star Dendro dps characters since the ones released so far are 5 stars.

But omg dude I just can’t with his gameplay and damage—theory crafters kept saying he was gonna be a decent dps and I get that as a community we shouldn’t fully rely on leaks, but I mean cmon…leaks regarding other characters haven’t always been entirely incorrect or inconsistent so I took theory crafters word for Kaveh as a unit but ughhhhh

I’m so disappointed dude. I know, I know—I shouldn’t have relied on theory crafters alone since information put out before release can be changed later on so it is my fault for expecting too much from Kaveh.

But even then—his gameplay is just…meh. It’s so disappointing because his animations are so freaking cool and he’s honestly one of the few claymore characters I’m having fun playing with. With that said, I really wish they had instilled an option within his kit that allows him to either be on-field or off-field like Nilou.

I know it would’ve been too much like Nilou’s kit but if mihoyo doesn’t have an issue recycling animations, character silhouettes, and other aspects within the game then I don’t see why they couldn’t have done the same for Kaveh.

It doesn’t make sense to me: if mihoyo wanted to make a bloom a better reaction, wouldn’t it have been better to provide an off-field support to trigger that reaction? Instead of Kaveh being on-field, he could’ve been given something else to make him off-field. He could’ve been given something like Kuki’s skill or Nilou’s off-field skill or Kaeya’s burst. They could’ve made him an off-field option as well as a sub-dps character if they were worried about the lack of Dendro dps within the four star category.

I’m just so disappointed. I had high hopes for him and even with the build I’ve invested for him, he’s not doing the most damage compared to my off-field supports like Yae, Raiden, Yelan, Xingqui…one of the best parts of his kit compared to Nilou’s is that, you can have characters of other elements in your team. Nilou’s bloom team is extremely restrictive—you can only have hydro or Dendro in order to trigger her bountiful cores.

So when Kaveh was announced to not be restricted in such a manner, I was really excited. But mihoyo just didn’t deliver for him.

I feel like they’re too focused on Honkai Star Rail and their other projects for a while now because these recent units in genshin just haven’t been as good as people hoped for. And it’s evident they’re focusing their attention and resources on other games cuz the quality in Honkai Impact 3 has also lowkey fallen off (ESPECIALLY in the character design department)

I wish they managed their business more properly. At least the gameplay and design departments should be better managed—the story and soundtrack don’t seem to fall off for either games but the designs and gameplay are just…meh

Daydreaming about Scaramoche because I have issues

I wanna just rant into the void a bit- no leaks, no speculations, no theory or smth, just. A Scaramouche-simp daydreaming because Mihoyo isn’t feeding us crumbs to actually make coherent theories about playable Scaramouche

Just. What would his playstyle be? If he’s a Catalyst, what would DPS Scaramouche look like? Classic catalyst with fancy, elegant movements like Lisa and Yae Miko, or more chaotic and playful like Heizou’s kickboxing or Klee throwing bombs? I’m imaging him to be completely unhinged and chaotic, not giving a shit about anything and anyone when he’s on the battlefield. An absolute nightmare of an ally, so to say. He’s a very mysterious dude with a smug attitude, so... I kinda see this carrying over into his fighting style. Not like Childe, who’s a natural warrior and who looks chaotic but like... skillfully chaotic, if that makes sense? Like. He’s hopeless with a bow, but with his dualblades and spear, his every move looks practiced and smooth.

Scaramouche was a wandering eccentric before he joined the Fatui, so he’s likely never had anyone to really teach him how to handle a weapon and he probably just figured out a style that worked for him. Like Razor in a way, who’s fighting style is very aggressive and chaotic, since he grew up with wolves. I.. kinda see Scaramouche behave similar to that, in that his fighting style is just ‘a means to get it done’, no matter how chaotic it is.

If he’s support, how would that look? How would his moveset support his team? Buffing his teammembers, passively reducing the opponent’s resistance to elements? Like I said, he seems to be good at scheming, so... maybe his idea of support isn’t healing and buffing but rather directly affecting the opponent. Or if he’s a healer, some form of that one Pokemon-move... what’s it called, Bloodsucker? Where you steal HP from your opponent to heal. Where every hit with Scaramouche steals HP for your own team.

He was cast aside for being too fragile and I think it is canon that he’s fond of kids and elderly, so... I see him as more of a support, rather than DPS. Maybe it’s just a passive skill, like... when he’s on the team, the whole team’s elemental RES gets buffed or something. Or like Kuki who sacrifices a large portion of her own HP to slowly heal the team. Idk, just... Childe is obviously more of a main DPS with his passive increasing the normal attack by 1, but Scara? If he really is a Catalyst, you CAN make him a healer with the prototype, or a support with dragontales.

I think Catalysts are generally hard to nail down as what their real role is, with all of them being able to be both support and DPS with a proper build, so... it’ll be interesting to see how Mihoyo will design Scara’s kit. If they’ll force him to be DPS by making him, idk.... unable to be equipped with the prototype or unable to heal, like how Ei is the only character who can’t cook. Or something like Kokomi who has negative crit rate and thus making him less appealing as DPS.

They have to know that the fanbase is so hyped for Scara, so... fingers crossed his kit will be well designed (tho I’m still clinging to my dream of Hydro Claymore Scara who scales with HP... pls, give the Bell finally some love-)

he could pass for a 5* instead of a 4* considering how strong he is and how good his stats are (yes, xingqiu, i'm comparing heeseung to you)

wishing for his cons can get harder than wishing for 5*s

would be a polearm user

he would also be a very strong healer

everyone wants him because he can heal the other players in co-op no matter how far away they are

can also heal with normal attacks

would be one of the best supports

jay would probably command pyro

he would also be a claymore user and the npc everyone wants but can’t get because mihoyo is cruel that way

i’m starting to realise jay sounds a lot like diluc in this description

would have a mad strong shield so everyone’s fighting to death to get him

the only downside would be that the cooldown is 20 seconds

rip all the jay mains when your shield runs out during azhdaha and you need to dodge but can’t because you forgot how to

mihoyo made the mistake of making him a broken character, so non-havers want him to be nerfed

would be a sword user or a claymore user with a very strong ult that has a pretty animation

i’m gonna use some of my imagination over here since there’s no dendro characters:

vines creep up from the ground when his ult is pressed. they envelope all enemies within a certain radius in a cocoon, rendering them completely immobile while also applying damage

afterwords, he can be switched with someone else to achieve elemental reactions, and multiply the damage

could pass for the dendro archon, but unfortunately, isn’t

𝗽𝗮𝗿𝗸 𝘀𝘂𝗻𝗴𝗵𝗼𝗼𝗻

sunghoon’s vision is pretty much a given

he’s obviously going to manipulate cryo

he’s also probably charming and elegant like kaeya, but could be part abyss mage or in league with the order for all we know

he’d be one of the strongest and most versatile 5*s, capable of taking almost every position on the team depending on how he’s built—carry, burst, support, shielder (after a certain talent is unlocked) and enabler

would either be a bow user or a catalyst user

he is one of the strongest fatui harbingers

many doubt that he is tsaritsa, the cryo archon, however there is not a lot of evidence that suggests the same

he’d have an anemo vision and be the anemo archon (sorry venti)

he’d be a sword user and a very strong healer

his ult is the strongest out of anyone else’s, oneshotting enemies straight out of teyvat in one single click

while he is an average character in terms of physical damage, he is one of the best supports in the entire game

he does wonders in the spiral abyss, though, and because everyone wants to own an archon and a character that gets them a shit ton of primos, he’s one of the most wanted 5*s

𝘆𝗮𝗻𝗴 𝗷𝘂𝗻𝗴𝘄𝗼𝗻

no one knows why he is given such an ability, and mihoyo certainly hasn’t dropped any hints

he’s also not from teyvat and neither from khaeneri’ah

lots of theories have been made by the fandom. a few make sense but most are complete bullshit

some people think he’s come from where the traveller has, some think he’s related to the traveller, whereas some think he is the god of all gods which is why he can control all visions

a few theories also suggest that he is the unknown god that separated the traveller and their sibling

niki has geo vision and is a part of the adepti

is a 5* and a catalyst user

he is not as strong as the other 5*s and a few 4*s, however if one had to lose their 50/50, it would be to him

he has opinions that are much similar to keqing’s

for those who don’t know what opinions keqing has, she thinks gods should not be able to determine her fate and that humans should take over liyue

does not want a vision but was still given one

would probably run to inazuma the first chance he gets and offer his vision to raiden

OK, so we all already know what The Three oldest archons abilities. So I’ve come up with my own ideas we could use for the younger archons! (And yes I’m grouping Ei, Venti and Zhongli as the older siblings since Ei Is 1000 years old Venti is 2,500 and Zhongli is 5,000-6,000 and the other archons are still in the hundreds I think)

For Dendro archon!Reader

Definitely a Bow User. And Is a Healer. But the their Ult can cause damage

I have a theory That during the Archon War The dendro Archin created the Regisvines to fight for them, and only two were left. I also Headcanon The dendro archon can bring plants to life and overwrite what each plant can do. (Maybe even bring mushrooms to life 👀).

Maybe They can create a giant plant from the ground that spreads Healing energies and since this is a god where talking about can Cure Curses (Ahem Vils Curses Ahem) and major Diseases and what not.

For Their Ult maybe a giant plant monster (kinda like how Gouba and Oz exists ) that will attack for them (could make for fun combos with different elements like if the dendro archon was wet Hydro Plant monster)

For Hydro archon!reader

Polearm or sword (theirs way too many Hydro Catalyst) Healer and Dps, Why? Cause I say so.

You’ve mentioned how Hydro archon summons a giant wave? I’ll do you one better and their E skill summons a giant sea creature of your choosing to soak the fighters (A cool visual is their polearm turning into a big dream catcher then going swoosh and Baam Maybe like A giant Water Koi fish finna drown your ass *ahem ace ahem*)

Now mihoyo likes to reference Their character form honkai impact into genshin impact (and since they took a characters look from Honkai and another characters abilities with the whole Dual ego thing for Raiden shogun and Ei) I’m gonna base this Ultimate Skill From a character from Honkai (for research search up Herrsercher of Sentience)

Since the Hydro archons whole thing is about Justice. Now here me out here. WATER WHIP. Just a giant whip of water that can go on for miles (maybe it’s salty maybe it’s like fresh water depends on our readers mood lolol). Like, It’s whip of water strong enough to cut diamond or whatever it would be very cool (Kalim would wanna see if he could do something like that with his UM Que jamil trying to stop him)

Maybe their hair turns into water too.

Pyro archon! Reader

Claymore. A Big strong war god needs a big strong weapon. Dps and Defense.

Now It’s not just one claymore, It’s DUAL-CLAYMORE, why? Cause it’s a war god that’s why!

I like to think the shield is like Xinyans and XiangLings combined and it’s constantly sending off tiny Fire Discs. Or just symbols shooting fire like what the Pyro Abyss mages can do

For Ultimate I like to think it’s like Childes Daggers but Bigger and on fire just a huge sword made of fire.

The pyro archon doesn’t think just BURNS. and STABE

Cryo archon! Reader

I can’t really come up with much for Cryo archon. But maybe a Catalyst that can summon a giant blizzard that drops down giant ice swords (kinda like Ganyus)

Definitely a sub DPS.

Maybe a healer too since The Tsaritsa is The archon of love?

What do you think about these abilities? Since you mentioned that the students and staff would assume their just strong mages I tried to be very creative with these abilities.

Also how I think the lore could go is maybe somewhere after leonas overblot and before azuls, Crowly has found a way to send Yuu home reluctantly. Yuu, grim and the aduece duo, and maybe some of heartslaybul or savana claw whoever you want come with them to the office to send them home. But Yuu is contemplating whether or not they WANT to go home now. But something goes wrong, maybe grim messes up the spell for the portal to work becuase (although he doesn’t want to admit it ) doesn’t want Yuu leaving, and their greeted with a surprise guest. Now this gives Yuu time to decide if they genuinely wanna go home and when teh archon finally has the materials they need to create a portal Yuu will tell them to leave the portal open (maybe put it into a tiny pocket mirror like the how we have the teapot) because they wanna stay for a little while or just until grim graduates (Que a happy fire cat ) and the archon whose grown attached to some people here was like ok “let our friends visit whenever they want, only if their headmaster allows it”

Now onto the headcanons

Anemo Archon! Reader and Mondstadt! Yuu

Everyone expected a lot of things not a person with Green eyes and (H/C) hair with green highlights. And an odd thing about them was the glowing stone on their person, Yuu didn’t have that?

Everyone’s freaking out because they’ve accidentaly taken another person from Yuus world.

And since Venti Is a well known famous bard In teyvat let’s say or Dear (y/N) is also a known bard and is not at all freaking out about what’s going on in fact let’s say our dear reader recognizes Yuu! And so now (Y/N) is now a new student (and a new headache for Crowley) in the ramshackle dorm! Yup! Just an ordinary human bard, Ehe~.

I’ll leave the rest of this up to you, Where Yuu has to explain what the world of teyvat is like (and why Yuu doesn’t have a phone (and a vision) because Twisted wonderland is far more advance in Technology and teyvat has JUST invented the Camera)

Also I head canon that people with Visions can summon their weapons and object with their visions, ok? Ok. To make things make more sense when reader pulls out a lyre from floating glitter.

Geo archon!reader and Liyue! Yuu

Same things happend here, but hey! We’ve summoned a Funeral Consultant! A very (ahemATTRACTIVEahem) Wise funeral consultant at best!

Electro Archon!Reader and Inazuma!yuu

Since the god of Inazuma isn’t “Dead” or hasn’t left and the people know what their beloved archon looks like, Yuu will definitely Be Freaking the fuck out

And y’know how Eis “Hello” voice line where she makes the traveler her guard she says the same thing to Yuu except “I recognize you are one of my people as your archon I shall be your guard and keep you safe from any danger in this Foreign world” and let’s say The puppet will not be used and Reader will be in control becuase they don’t have to worry about erosion right now so the puppet will be resting while (Y/N) is in control protecting their Precious Inazuma citizen is ok.

Well until They can get the materials they need to open a portal. I’ll let you figure out the rest, but congrats ramshackle you now have a god in your abode 😃✨

Anyways, for skills of the archons-

Dendro Archon

I think they'd use a sword or a catalyst tbh, if the skills you listed, it makes a little more sense to have them be more of a catalyst

For their elemental skill, I think they'd summon/throw something similar to Klee's and Aloy's elemental skill except they heal if someone in your party is nearby, their healing could scale by their EM or ER.

For their burst, I like your head canon for the Dendro Archon, so I might go off from that and your idea for their burst, just more tweaking. The dendro archon would be able to summon a large plant that heals AND deals Dendro damage by sapping mobs hp. The amount of life sapping it does and the healing would scale off their original HP (artifacts that give hp won't be of use)

Hydro Archon

I agree with hydro polearm or sword. Too many catalysts

Mmm... To be honest, I think you should have the burst be her skill... The whip idea is intriguing, but I think it would work more for a skill which can allow them to use it several times before waiting for the CD to go down. I think the whip skill would work better with Crit as well.

AND AS FOR THE MENTIONS OF WAVE AND A SEA CREATURE, I'LL DO YOU ONE BETTER BUT FOR THEIR BURST!!!! They summon a large tsunami which takes form of a monster/animal and lunges at the mobs (similar to Zhongli tossing down a dumbbell), however the amount of damage the burst can do is depending on if they are afflicted by the wet status the mobs are afflicted by. If already afflicted with hydro, the mobs would receive double damage while those with other elements afflicted on them would receive the element combination DMG and normal DMG while those that aren't affected by an element, they would receive normal damage. The amount of damage the burst does is scaled by EM.

Pyro Archon

HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA CLAYMORE

Hmmm.... I think the skill would be they set an AoE with magma, mobs will receive damage from it and will continue to receive damage if they stay on it, but those who are in party, they will receive an ATK boost that scales from HP.

For the burst, I think I'll use a character from Honkai Impact with their special move which is Murata Himeko in Vermilion Knight: Eclipse battlesuit. Pyro Archon uses their claymore and another claymore but made of pyro and is far more larger and their cut scene has the Archon raise the pyro claymore above their head and slam it down to send pyro erupting from the ground (similar to the pyro axe wielding hilichurls)

Cryo Archon

I agree with catalyst

Mmmmmm.... I'd say her skill would beeeeee... Trapping several mobs or so in ice. They can either do 2-4 ice traps depending if you got their c1. (The ice traps are similar to Mirror Maidens traps BTW but it deals or affects the mobs with cryo)

For burst, I like the idea of summoning a blizzard/swords, but it's similar to Ganyu's. SO I'LL DO YOU ONE BETTER!!!! Cryo Archon will summon a blizzard which freezes mobs without having to use hydro, the freeze status lasts for a total of 15 seconds or higher if you got their c3

Hmmm... I like the idea, but imma tweak it a bit. The archon was in fact summoned through that portal because Grim decided to mess it up just for Yuu to stay a little longer, and so the Archon now resides in Twisted Wonderland as well in order to aide them until they can return back to their world. That way it makes more sense and makes it more fun.

Anemo archon

Yuu would be a bit jealous about them because they got a vision.

Crowley needs to hide his money

Sam has been strictly told to not give them wine that Sam stores in his shop...

Vargus is conflicted about them because they legit float without magic

Trein recurved a major headache

ive been. a bit busy but here we gooo! !! p.s please dont shit on me or say that x character wont look like that etc, this is a headcanon, i think itd be really cool

SUMERU

sumeru has been made out to be this super knowledgable place and theres universitys there and etc. so im kinda going off that. im also imaginging them as a guy so ill use he/him/they pronouns throughout this ^^

itd be really cool if the god of knowledge or whatever he is to be super nerdy, kinda like sucrose? really clumsy and socially awkward yk. constantly trips, stutters over his words, isnt good with interactions, etc

id image sumeru as a place to be lush and overgrown with lots of ruins and buildings if ykwim. maybe a big trading area or marketplace in the middle of everything

i think the archon for this region should be tan? or like darker skinned. theres barely any poc in genshin currently let alone an archon thats dark skinned

id like to see him go from being really nerdy and nervous to really serious quickly, thatd be cool. like one moment hes like "sorry! i didnt mean to bump into you" to talking about an indepth plan

going off the idea that every archon currently has glowing hair i think hed have long dark green hair put into a low pony tail with braids going into it

🌸 Follow on for Azhdaha tips if anyone needs them:

- Listen to his quotes, lines such as "no atonement for a 1000 year pain" "the encroached earth will not absolve you" are lines he says right before his undodgeable AOES, so if you hear them, run to the arena edges.

- Post AOE but before he starts taking damage again, you can hit him to reduce cooldowns (such as with Noelles shield reducing cool down every 4 hits, even if Azhdaha isn't taking damage, you're still reducing cooldown for free)

- A lot of people have mentioned shield characters (with best girl Noelle being amongst the best choices), but there's also Beidou and her parry/burst that grants her a shield.

- Since elemental mastery got buffed, go wild with reactions, Sucrose especially got buffed in this update so if you can build her, I heavily recommend doing so

- Pay attention to the elemental symbols at the boss gate - this week for example it's hydro/cryo (which imo is absolutely evil Mihoyo) and plan around those.

Now Childe tips for anyone needing them

- He staggers easily against Claymore characters in first and second phase (from my experience with Noelle, Diluc, Beidou and Chongyun)

- Again listen to his quotes "Now die here" is his main one before he releases his massive arrow AOE, he also says it before his giant whale attack so running to the side of the arena is your best bet

- Riptide can absolutely shred, so if you are afflicted, back off for a little while and heal up

- Shield characters can help stop his combos, so consider investing in either Zhongli, Noelle, Diona or Xinyan if you have them. If not, learn his combo patterns, when to dash and when to strike.

- Third phase can be a nightmare if you're unprepared, especially with his dash attacks and that one attack he does when he marks you and jumps. Again, either consider investing in a shield character, or dash right before he strikes you after being marked.

Hopefully these help at least one person 🌸

A/n: How I headcanon the BNHA characters playing Genshin Impact. Hope you enjoy~

- Katsuki Bakugou -

Katsuki definitely has a full pyro team and mains Klee. Diluc, Yoimiya, Yanfei and Xinyan will be his favourites. The number of times Katsuki rage quit because of Deku dying in domains is unreal. He would decorate his serinteapot to flex on Deku his classmates.

- Izuku Midoriya -

Izuku has a C2 Qiqi and has lost all his 50/50s. He would main Sucrose and Fischl. In domains, Izuku would be the one to die first.

- Shoto Todoroki -

I would see Shoto maining cryo characters like Kaeya, Rosaria, Diona, Qiqi, Ganyu, Chongyun, Eula, Ayaka, and Alloy. He has C6 of every cryo character and R5 of their weapons as well (RIP Endeavor's credit card). He's powerless against cryo abyss mages and cryo domains. He clears cryo domains in co-op with Dekusquad.

- Eijirou Kirishima -

Kiri mains an all Geo team, Fight me. Zhongli, Noelle, Ninguang, Albedo. He finds Geo very versatile. Noelle has a shield and is a healer too, SPIN TO HEAL. He spams Zhongli's Burst in domains. His favourite city would be Liyue Harbour.

- Denki Kaminari -

He's definitely a genshin streamer. His favourite character would be Noelle because she has a shield and can heal. Denki also likes Sangonomiya Kokomi. He hates taking damage. His team is all healers or shield characters, depending on his mood. He wants a C6 Noelle but Mihoyo keeps giving him Razor. He's the last one standing in the Azdaha domain with his Noelle in co-op. I see Denki crowning Lisa and Rosaria. He would be sad when Mihoyo nerfs Rosaria.

- Iida Tenya -

Tenya would have an all anemo team. Venti, Kazuha, Xiao, Sayu, Sucrose. He hates bounties which make the target immune to anemo. He always spends his primogems on the permanent banner in hopes of Jean coming home. Even though most domains are immune to swirl damage, tenya would do the most damage.

- Hitoshi Shinsou -

He mains Beidou. Shinsou's favourite characters are the archons. Venti, Zhongli, Raiden Shogun. He's always waiting for new updates with archons. he doesn't know how to use artifacts and rarely plays genshin; He comes back to pull for the archons though. His favourite region would be Inazuma.

- Tamaki Ajimaki -

Tamaki mains Venti. He likes the adepti in the storyline and has all the playable ones. He's the Venti main you meet in co-op. His serinteapot is filled with animals. I see him cooking the dishes in real life. His favourite dish would be Almond Tofu.

- Shota Aizawa -

He doesn't have much time on his hands, but somehow finds time to complete his daily commissions. He never rolls on banners and has built the starter team to level 90, talents almost maxed. His exploration progress is 100% as he spends a significant number of patrol nights playing genshin. He hates co-op. He enjoys features like the Serinteapot and uses it to the maximum. (his mansion is littered with beds, couches and cats.) He finds fishing enjoyable.

- Hizashi Yamada -

Hizashi's favourite character is Hu Tao. He's always helping low-AR players in co-op and owns two Discord servers dedicated to Genshin Impact. He would be another person to C6 his favourite characters and also roll on player's accounts. He loves farming materials. Yamada definitely has the Spiral Abyss namecard.

- Uraraka Ochaco -

F2P abyss pain. She logs in every day for the freemogems. Ochaco started maining Mona since she got her. Her ping is always red, so she can't play in co-op and she always gets logged out while playing. She won the 50/50 on Zhongli's banner.

- Mina Ashido-

BIG DAMAGE GO BRR Her favourite character would be Eula. She prefers claymore characters because of their physical damage. Mina loves elemental reactions. His favourite character combination would be electro + cryo to see pretty colours and numbers during superconduct.

-Momo Yaurozu-

She mains the hydro element. Barbara, Kokomi, Childe, Mona and Xingqiu are all C6. Momo mains Jean in co-op, She loves meeting people in co-op. She likes to take her time and enjoy the game. She rolls on banners whenever she is feeling sad. her favourite region is Mondstadt.

A/n: Genshin Impact 1 year anniversary is coming up! The rewards were announced today, and they look pretty disappointing. Genshin is a huge gatcha game and they would try to make their first anniversary memorable. I'm pretty sure they are going to surprise the playerbase with more satisfactory rewards on the anniversary.

I think Ethan would have an anemo vision and use a sword, pretty basic stuff for a pretty basic guy

Mia has a hydro vision and uses a bow

Rose would probably end up having an anemo vision just like her dad and use a polearm

Chris has a geo vision and uses a claymore (i actually do not know a whole lot abt chris so maybe this will change if i decide to look into him a bit more)

Mother Miranda doesn’t actually have a vision, she has a multitude of delusions of different elements and is a catalyst user

Alcina has a cryo vision (ironically) and is a polearm user

Bela has a geo vision, Cassandra has a pyro vision and Daniela has an electro vision and they all use swords

Heisenberg has a pyro vision and uses a claymore

Donna has a dendro vision (dendro characters when mihoyo) and is a catalyst user

Moreau has a hydro vision and uses a claymore (oops! all claymores)

The Duke doesn’t have a vision but he does sell weapons (and delusions if you’re willing to pay him enough)

Dendro Speculation

I wrote this while ✨ 𝒸𝒶𝒻𝒻𝑒𝒾𝓃𝒶𝓉𝑒𝒹 ✨. I copy pasted this from a Discord conversation in my phone. Good thing I did, because I ended up not remembering 45% of what I typed. I'm going to go back in time and pat caffeinated Phuuca on the back for thinking ahead, because they actually had very good ideas.

This is a combination of Dendro speculation, excitement for The Chasm update, and passive aggressiveness at miHoYo for postponing Baizhu's release date.

I know I main Bennett, but a genuinely love Anemo and Dendro, with Cryo being a close third. I love the burning reaction. I love the potential for the different elemental combinations when the Chasm update ( eventually ) comes. I can’t wait for Dendro to be a DPS elements, or Sub DPS element, because we’ve seen Dendro be used for continuous poison damage.

There’s also the burning reaction where the fire spreads and gets bigger. So there’s a lot of potential there. There’s also the possibility of a similar reaction to SUPERCONDUCT, when Electro reacts with Dendro. This is because when lightning strikes a tree, all the sap underneath bark is boiled off. Which causes all the bark to explode. So it could be used as a makeshift, mid-battle bomb.

With a Cryo/Dendro reaction, it could be based off of hibernation and cause the reaction Slow. Which could just slow enemies down and eventually cause them to straight up pass out in mid battle, depending on how long the Slow combo continues.

And with a Dendro/Hydro reaction, it could be Heal type reaction. Because of plants need water, and certain types of species grow faster when you add water. But because it’s an elemental reaction, you could end up healing your enemies if you’re not careful. If Heal was added to the game, you’d have to be careful with how you use the Heal reaction.

Dendro/Pyro already has burn.

Dendro/Dendro will coat the entire battle field with poison. Like the Samachurl. Oh. Dendro/Dendro doesn’t have a name. Uhhhhhhh. Nature’s Wrath?? Or it could be a passive ability like Anemo/Anemo, which just causes less stamina to be used. For a passive ability, it could be an immunity to Samachurl’s/Dendro slime poison. Or just an immunity to Dendro poisoning in general.

With a potential Dendro/Geo combination, it could be similar to something like Fossilization or Petrify. Like Zhongli’s ULT, but it can only be activated by spreading Dendro first, and then attacking with Geo. They’re both Static elements, so they don’t react with much.

Dendro/Anemo?? What do I do with this? Leaf Bracer?? What do I do with leaves and wind. There’s practically nothing here??

That was, until I had an idea.

So it would obviously be a swirl reaction. A Dendro/Anemo reaction would be activated by activating Dendro and then using an Anemo attacker to spread the effects of Dendro. Think of the Pyro swirl, but with Dendro that spreads continuous poison damage. But because it effects your environment, it could potentially backfire and poison you. But you can’t use Hydro, or else the effect would be cancelled out and no more poison damage.

Speaking of poison damage:

Anyways, I’m just really excited for when the first Dendro character will be released. I want to see all the different reactions in battle. They must be rare for a lore reason and not just neglect from miHoYo, which could, and probably is, also true.

Dendro means trees, so it’ll probably be used as a world building element in the Genshin story once we get to Sumeru. The current Archon has only held the position for 500 years. Once we get there, and the Traveler gains Dendro, we can try to make some assumptions of what the Dendro Archon’s ULT will be. Since the Traveler’s Elemental Burst is just a watered down version of the Archons’ ULT.

But, that could be coincidence, because as an author that happens, but I doubt it’s justcoincidence. With the Travelers being from “ beyond the stars ”, they might technically be gods more powerful than Celestia. Which maybe the reason the Unknown God trapped and stripped them of their powers.

Dendro might be dominantly Catalyst users since it is the Element of Wisdom and Knowledge, and Catalysts are commonly books. But that might actually be coincidental/accidental because the only two Dendro characters we’ve seen are Catalyst users ( YaoYao and Baizhu ). My knowledge of Baizhu being a male catalyst user is because I’ve been stalking Baizhu Stan Twitter for updates and leaks, even though I don’t have Twitter.

Anyways, Baizhu’s leaked weapon is a Jade Catalyst, Primordial Jade Regalia ( I think ), and it’s super pretty. I have a whole google doc dedicated to him and the Dendro ascension items. Baizhu has bird bones and paper skin, he can’t lift a sword, I’m 95% sure he can’t pull a bow string. I once toyed with the idea of him wielding a Polearm after nikud0ns suggested he might be able to wield one. But considering he can’t move around that much due to his chronic illness, I don’t think he will.

And there is no way he would be able to haul around a Claymore. If he can’t lift a Sword, there’s no way he can lift a Claymore.

Anyways, I’m waiting for 1.6-1.8 to come. I’ll be here when it does.

As much as I love the possibility of Scaramouche being an electro catalyst I’d honestly love another electro Claymore even more

Just... imagine. So far we have two female electro Catalysts and only one male electro Claymore, who’s also the only male electro-character so far.

Now... this is all just me rambling to myself and things I’d love to see in Scaramouche,,,, but in all honesty, I’d already be over the moon if Scaramouche even gets released as playable any time soon, even if he’ll just end up being the third electro Bow-character.

Just- think about it. If Scaramouche had a similar Stanche-swap to Childe, like. A thing that all future playable Harbingers share- forming a weapon out of their pure element on their skill and dealing raw elemental damage. Childe wields a bow and forms a pair of hydro Dualblades. So, imagine Scaramouche wielding a Catalyst as his regular weapon and during his skill he forms a Claymore out of pure Electro and deals heavy electro damage with every hit.

That would be so COOL. Just- please, god. I’m hoping the stanche-swap is gonna be a thing that all Harbingers share. It’s just so cool to swap into Meele-stance with Childe and go in for the kill with his pure Hydro Dualblades.

If I remember correctly, Scaramouche’s files have “Catalyst” in them, so... yeah. But no matter what weapon you imagine him swapping into, it’d still be so COOL.

Creating a polearm out of pure electro-element as a reference to him being a creation from Ei?

A sword out of pure electro-element, possibly even the sword Ei pulls out of her chest in her wish-art?

A bow out of pure electro that deals electro-damage with every hit without having to charge?

A claymore that deals electro-damage with every hit?

Or if he’d wield a whole new weapon that’s not in the game. Like Childe’s Dualblades, but say... a Scythe. Scaramouche wielding a Scythe made out of pure electro element. It’d just... be so cool, srsly.

And- AND. Childe’s flowing scarf gets infused with Hydro when he’s in Meelee-stance, so what if Scaramouche’s eyes start glowing bright purple when he’s in stance-swap, like Ei?

I just... god please, it’d be so friggin cool.

Like... besides not having official confirmation from Mihoyo that Scaramouche will 100% be playable, we also don’t have a confirmed element (no visible vision like on Childe), but... honestly, I think that it’s pretty likely he’ll be electro, just because he WAS created by Ei as a prototype. It’d just make sense he’d wield electro, since he’s basically... the Raiden Shogun’s older brother??? Idk, technically I guess they’d kinda be siblings...???

....or maybe he’ll be the first Cryo-Catalyst, that would also be dope I guess, and electro is just his delusion.

My thoughts on the 1.7 update

(Spoilers! And my own opinion, you are free to disagree!!)

Overall I am absolutely thrilled!! I can’t wait for this update, Inazuma looks SO gorgeous!! Getting to meet the new characters and see all of the new landscapes/enemies/puzzles will be so fun!!

I’m glad that the Inazuma release is in 2 parts. Not only that, but the Sacred Sakura prevents us from exploring everything at one time. This way we can take our time and not really have to worry about speed runners spoiling everything the second the islands are released!!

The areas I’m most excited about are the shrine at the Sacred Sakura cause oh my gosh it’s gorgeous!! I also can’t wait to meet the Shiba inu running the tea house, I can’t remember the name of the tea house but it looks so pretty!! Lastly, the big building in Inazuma City, the shogun’s palace? Is that what it is? Idk, it’s where Baal lives(maybe??) and it looks like it’ll be so cool to explore!

I cant complain about any part of the map yet since I haven’t seen it. Right now, I only have positive opinions on Inazuma as a region

Moving onto the characters so far:

Gouru: I think his design is interesting, I enjoy his color palette! He’s nice to look at. I like the fact that he’s a Geo bow user but…Im disappointment that there are so many bow characters being released at once :( They’re just so hard to use on mobile and though I’ve forced myself to suck it up for Venti and Childe, I wish we’d get more catalysts and claymores instead of archers UGH lmao

Tohma: I am SO looking forward to Tohma’s release!! He seems like a fun guy! I don’t know much about him other than the fact that he’s Ayaka’s fiancé but hey!! Apparently we’re gonna meet him sooner than I thought we would!!

Yae: I absolutely adore her design. She breaks the “Hydro = blue clothes” “Electro = purple clothes” color palette trend. While there are exceptions like Beidou and Kazuha right now, most characters share color schemes with their vision. So seeing Yae with her pretty pink hair and red clothes while wielding an electro vision just makes me happy!! I’ll definitely be pulling for her

Sara: As much as I want to like her, I just can’t. At least not yet, maybe I’ll change my mind once we get to meet her and learn about her personality! There’s just too much about her that I don’t like. First off, I think she is bland. Mihoyo low key does a not so good job of designing women. Amber, Eula and Jean all suffer from bland outfit syndrome. Sara suffers from bland hair and face syndrome. Even her outfit could have been more detailed. And in addition to that, she’s another archer. So yeah…If she’s a 4 star, I know I’ll get her at some point but if she’s a 5 star, she’ll be a banner I skip

Shogun/Baal: Oh miss electro archon….Mihoyo did you so dirty. I’m sorry, she’s the goddess of electro and she looks like any other civilian. I was expecting something more grand for our first female archon release. I was hoping she would have more detail in her clothes, maybe extra hair accessories or thigh highs that aren’t one solid color? I don’t know, I just had high expectations! Am I being too judgmental? Possibly. But looking at characters we already have or have met, she doesn’t give the ‘wow’ factor I thought she would. Will I pull for her though anyway? Of course

Kokomi: She WAS going to be Mimi I think! This is Mimi’s model in a different outfit! Names aside, she’s very pretty! I was iffy on her design when I saw the leaks but when I saw her on screen in the livestream today? I was sold on her!! However…She will be our third, you heard me THIRD hydro catalyst which is a HUUUGE bummer. Of course, we never saw her fight so her weapon could maybe change (please Mihoyo please please give her a polearm) but I doubt that will happen. So for that reason, I won’t be pulling for her. But I will admire her from afar *sigh*

Kazuha: He wasn’t included in the update since he’s…out right now but i thought I’d talk about him too. I think his character is super interesting!! But sadly I will be skipping his banner. I did one ten pull and got Keqing so I’m going to save my guaranteed for miss Yoimiya!!! I am looking forward to a Kazuha story quest for sure! I think his design is cool, I don’t have much to comment on other than….why did he get the same face as Aether…dude…

Yoimiya: My Queen. My love. I have 20 wishes saved for her already and now a guaranteed on the event banner. I am not a fan of archers but she is an exception for sure! Her design, her ult animation, her idle animation…She’s so cute and I NEED her!!! I can see it now, my built team with Yoimiya, Eula, Bennett and Keqing all together fighting samurai in Inazuma! Wowwww :’) I am biased because she’s my favorite of the confirmed characters but…We’re all allowed to be a little biased sometimes :)

Ayaka: Everyone is hyping her up!! I am not really on that train! I’m excited for her cause she’s an interesting character! Her animations look cool and her design is beautiful, I’ve thought that since the eaaaaaarly leaks!! I just personally don’t enjoy her play style enough to go wild and pull for her. Sorry!! But I am loyal to Kaeya. He’s the only cryo sword user for me 💕 that’s a joke

Sayu: Eh, I’m pretty neutral on her. I’m glad to have an Anemo claymore combo but I just don’t enjoy playing as kid characters, they’re too small!! I bet she’ll be great and I hope everyone who wants her will get her!! I just won’t be jumping for joy when I inevitable pull her from Yoimiya’s banner

One more gripe, notice how we still don’t have Dendro characters?? I am desperate for Baizhu. Where is he? :( I need him >:)

In addition to my thoughts on the characters I might have an unpopular opinion reguarding the standard banner. It’s time for an update. Here’s who I think should be on the standard banner reboot if we get one:

- Albedo (takes Keqing’s place)

- Qiqi (stays since she’s a healer)

- Kokomi (takes Mona’s place)

- Eula (takes Diluc’s place) or Ayaka(?)

- Jean (stays unless Sara is a 5 star)

And I have my reasons too. Albedo is popular and would make people pull from the standard banner. Qiqi’s gotta stay since she’s a healer and we need character model diversity in the standard lineup. Kokomi is another hydro catalyst so she can easily replace Mona I guess. Eula wasn’t that popular and could be redeemed by being on the standard banner so people can get her cons, Ayaka could also go on this banner due to her popularity? So after her banner, she can just be plopped on the standard to draw people in. And I can’t think of a replacement for Jean UNLESS Sara is a 5 star, which I doubt she will be. Sara screams ‘standard banner character’.

Finally, I’m stoked about the PlayStation thingy!! We can login on PlayStation now!! Yay!! Exclusive wings, here I come >:)

the fact that if his rerun was a month or even a week ago i would have avoided it like the plague lmao. i even got yanfei so thats cool (also the next time i have to fight an oceanid i will actually cry. im not afraid anymore theyre just annoying to grind like. mihoyo please give us a decent hydro character that doesnt need an oceanid or hydro hypostasis ohmygod)

YANFEI MY BELOVED i was bored and wanted to try her out to i just gave her razors artifacts and she did really good?? i might pair her w xingqiu or kokomi for some vaporizes or qiqi/rosa/diona for melts idk

yeah but what other boss would a hydro character use other than like. the primo geovishap. idk i dont mind fighting those two all that much but thats probs bc mt main team is an electro character two cryo and a pyro lmao

Popi’s Ranking of Genshin Enemies

Based on how much they annoy me 😡

(from “meh” to “HEJENEKSKSBDJDK”)

Warnings: Language

Paimon: she annoys me the most but (unfortunately) she is not an enemy so...

Hydro Slimes: I just let them electrocute to death with my Beidou. The Scaramouche kinnie in me gets satisfied when I do this.

Basic Hillichurl: Nothing a claymore character can’t deal with (*You Spin Me Round* plays in the back of my mind). Sometimes they throw mini slimes and it reminds me of the “yeET” vine, which brings me good memories.

Pyro/Cryo/Anemo Slime: I want a plushie of them and I almost feel bad when I fight them.

Geo Slime: biatch I’m trying to mine here.

Electro Slime: the only way of killing them quickly is with a Pyro DPS and I don’t have one (Diluc pls come home)

Hillichurl with a shield: If I’m playing without my glasses the amount of time it takes me to realize I haven’t destroyed its shield is embarrassing.

Hillichurl with a bow: stop shooting at me I’m trying to destroy the Mitachurl here, thank you very much.

Dendro Slime: I will set fire to all of Teyvat if that is what it takes for you to come out, you effing coward.

Samachurl: I find their little laughs very cute. I specially don’t like the Hydro and Dendro ones because they heal my enemies but all in all very easy to defeat.

Treasure Horders: I hate when I use my ults to fight them and all I get in return is a rusty ass bronze insignia.

Mitachurl with axe: I like freezing them up and sometimes they drop artifacts but I’m terribly afraid of farm animals and they remind me of bulls.

Geo Fatui: baby would you stop teleporting? I’m trying to hear your voice (the JP voice is 👌🏼)

Mitachurl with a shield: how many times do I have to set you on fire? My pyro main is Xinyan and it takes ages for her fire shield to reset. Please have mercy on me oh mighty minotaur.

Geovishap: though I don’t like how they go underground and appear in another place, they are forgiven because when you hit them and they show you their bellies they remind me of big doggos and I love big doggos.

Shotgun Fatui: once you destroy their shields they are a piece of cake but it took me a great amount of time to discover that only Hydro works for that.

Pyro Whopperflower: Barbara laughs at the cries of her victims (but those lava balls missiles are terrifying)

Pyro Abyss Mage: the most friendly of them all until it decides to kill me with those three floating things that breath fire.

Ruin Guard/Automatons: though most people don’t like the missiles, my main concern is that arm tornado. Though extra happy points for Mr. Cyclops.

Cryo Whopperflower: would. you. stop. trying. to. impale. my. characters. please??!!

Lawachurl: they would be less annoying if the one I have to defeat in the challenge right outside the Domain of Guyun would cooperate.

Anemo Fatui: every time I get sucked in by the vacuum I yell “YOINK” and scare the people around me.

Pyro Fatui Agent: never have I hated so much the fact that I can’t see shit from close. All is unicorns and rainbows until this mf decides to disappear on me.

Eye of the Storm: drop something floating mf. Anything!! It takes me so long to defeat them as I don’t main a bow user and all I get is EXP points?! Istg some dandelion seeds would be enough.

Hydro Healer Fatui: I still feel like a fool when I realized the bubbles were healing his teammates and not attacking me.

Fatui Cicin Mage: They are this up on this list solely because of their annoying voice and annoying teletransportation power. Are you trying to seduce me or fight me?

Cryo Abyss Mage: Diluc please come home.

Cryo Fatui: Reminds me of Santa. I can’t tell if he is a Hydro one or a Cryo one until he attacks me and I’ve lost 1/4 of my HP.

Ruin Hunter: would you judge me if I told you I try to avoid them at all costs? Yeah I don’t feel like fighting the robot version of Edward Scissorhands nor avoiding (without success) the missile shower.

Hydro Abyss Mage: Bubble Prison™️. I rest my case. Bonus Annoying points if it is paired with a Cryo one.

MOSQUITO TRIFECTA: MFS WHY DO YOU HAVE TO BE SO SMALL AND SO FAST I WAS HAVING A GOOD TIME AND YOU COME AND ATTACK ME FOR FREE AJDNDKSNSISLSLS PETITION FOR MIHOYO TO ADD A BUG SPRAY TO THE INVENTORY I HATE THEM NOT ONLY I HAVE TO DEAL WITH BUGS IN REAL LIFE BUT ALSO IN A GAME??!!
