Then in the live signing stream, Robin came in for a minute to show that he was boiling eggs and JB Blanc said “And might I say, what a lovely pair of eggs you have, Robin.” to which someone in the chat said “watch out heavy Saxton might steal your man”

I've been playing the demo of the new Dragon Quest Monsters game, which is amazing and you all should play it, and while I cannot be 100% certain due to a lack of listed voice actors, I'm pretty sure I instantly recognized that Ossie is probably voiced by JB Blanc.

Specifically because it's exactly the voice they go to when they want a Joker voice but can't afford Mark Hamil, and I don't mean that as an insult (The man's talented), just kinda in the same way a good chunk of Jermaine Clement's roles are "things Tim Curry would've been in if it weren't for the stroke"...

Here is the wonderful Jason Spisak talking about his Silco cosplay at Megacon in Manchester this last weekend.

This past weekend, I was lucky enough to meet both Jason Spisak (Silco) and JB Blanc (Vander) at my local comic con. It was so lovely of them to fly all the way from LA and come to our small convention in the Uk and I met some new Arcane friends! Both actors were extremely lovely people and i loved their panels. Jason even took the time out of his busy schedule on Saturday to come to our small Arcane meet! Was a total surprise.

Both are very humble and appreciative of their fand and we got to talk to them for quite some time without the feel of being rushed like you sometimes do at other cons. I had a fantastic time ❤️

I rewatched the 2002 "Count of Monte Cristo" film last night and I gotta say, if you haven't seen it, do yourself a favor and watch it. As a little treat.

It is The Most Movie. The melodrama is impeccable. Everyone is putting their entire Alexandre Dumussy into bringing this OG revenge story with a heaping side helping of choking sexual tension and power fantasy Male-y Sue to life.

But the reason I rewatched it is because the first time I saw it I was 14 years old and I remember being utterly paralyzed by how fucking gorgeous everyone was. In truth, dear reader, this may have been my bisexual awakening because I remember being as transfixed by pre-Passion of the Christ Jim Caviezel as Edmond as I was Guy Pierce as Fernand and as I was Dagmara Dominczyk as Edmond's fiancee Mercedes, with her midnight hair, sapphire eyes, and bosom heaving with emotion.

And then, and THEN, Henry Cavill at age 17 shows up. Reader, no wonder I, at 14, was having an out of body experience learning just how beautiful human beings could be when dressed in sumptuous period costumes, dancing in glittering French ballrooms, all actively lusting after one another and at all times torn between kissing and killing one another.

(Honorable Mention to JB Blanc as Luigi Vampa and a young Luis Guzman as Jacobo for being less "conventionally" attractive while absolutely dripping sex appeal and swashbuckling romance every second they were on screen.)

I know I should probably put images in this post to make my point but better yet, why not make my point for me and go check out this film or at least images of this cast that was stacked in every way.

And yes, dear reader, everyone was as fucking drop-dead gorgeous as I remembered them.

"zenkichi is just a repeat of dojima" okay? so are sojiro and futaba. sophia is aigis 2.0,,, but they still manage to find new meaning with it. persona reuses a lot of the same tropes, but often (not always) they're able to write it just differently enough you get something new

persona 4 is my favorite game. i love jb blanc (dojima va), and i am so biased to dojima and nanako. but zenkichi and akane are very similar to me and my dad. i didn't watch my mother die thank god,,, but i did lose a family member as an early teen. when i was around akane's age (14-15) i was angry, and who was easiest to blame? my dad

he HAS done bad things but at the same time, he cared. i said the same things, "my dad doesn't care about me" knowing it wasn't true. friends and family would say the same thing makoto did, "don't say that it isn't true". and while i can't speak for akane, that always pissed me off

maybe it wasn't right, but it was how i felt. my dad, like zenkichi, hadn't shown well enough that he cared. so even if i knew that he loved me that insecure, hurt part of me said he didn't. i built up this tolerance to that idea, that now i don't want my dad to apologize. i don't want him to be the better man, to grow and get better. that anger gave me comfort and some sort of peace, having something to blame for my emotions. when zenkichi reveals the truth, and apologizes anyway, akane is still just as sad. and angry

the small differences matter. akane and nanako are years apart, and they're also different people. they will, then, grieve differently. zenkichi knew who killed his wife, but he stopped chasing it because akane's life was literally threatened. dojima never stopped but he never (as far as we're aware) found out who it was. but that isn't the main cause of discourse with his daughter, it's his own fear of being a dad. imo dojima is more at fault than zenkichi. the latter obviously should have acted differently but some things were out of his control. nanako just wanted a present father

also so off topic but fuck the idea that mamoru (i think that's how it's spelled; star arcana in persona 3) is just a kazushi clone !!! they're so different and have majorly different meanings. yes atlus reuses tropes, but they don't demean the characters story and that idea doesn't even apply to these two. leave my man's alone

Another highlight from yesterday’s livestream is that Sniper was talking about Jarate and at some point Saxton called it liquid gold. Also Sniper said something about Saxton having a small bladder and Saxton got EXTREMELY offended. The girls are fightinggggg

I have nothing but nice things to say about meeting Jason Spisak at my local convention today. I’m meeting JB Blanc tomorrow, but I enjoyed JB and Jason’s panel very much, and was very interested in their works as voice actors and working on Arcane and outside of it. They also made bad dad jokes.

And even more lovely, despite the busy schedule he had on today’s con, Jason made the time to stop by and say hello to our little Arcane meet up today which I thought was super sweet of him.

He seems very appreciative of his fans, and I love how welcoming he is and the fact he came all the way from LA to Manchester says a lot on how much he loves his fans as well as JB Blanc.

100% would recommend meeting them if you get the chance, or just go to their panel if they ever do a comic con. I thoroughly enjoyed myself.

Some Pokevillain Fancastings (I have delayed this vid for too long)

Wally Wingert (Maxie) - The second best voice for The Riddler and the best official voice for Rufus Shinra, also would be the best choice to voice Maxie.

Jamieson Price (Archie) - Price already voiced him in the Generations OVA and aligns with how I imagined the man to sound, so he's my go-to.

Ray Chase (Cyrus) - Chase definitely has the talent to pull it off, plus he voiced Gendo Ikari in the past, so my confidence in him playing the perfect Cyrus is extremely high.

Patrick Seitz (Lysandre) - It was either him, Matt Mercer, Paul Saint Peter, JB Blanc, or Kevin Conroy (R.I.P). Still Seitz's Dracula voice was what made me come to this final verdict.

Elizabeth Maxwell (Lusamine) - A similar situation to Lysandre, however Maxwell managed to win me over a bit.

saga: SOUMISSION / DOMINATION 62

Au cours du BBQ, la chaleur estivale a poussé quelques uns à boire un peu trop et l'excitation remonte avec le relâchement total des quelques inhibitions qui pouvaient subsister.

C'est parmi les plus jeunes (même si nous les avions surveillés) que l'alcool a été le plus " efficace ". Marc et les autres " vieux ", ont fait attention, nous organisons une touze pas une orgie ! Pierre bien surveillé par Kev est resté au soda. Par contre Jean et Ric sont un peu partis. Je les accompagne avec l'aide de Seb et Nicolas aux douches et sous l'eau bien froide, ils évacuent le trop plein ingurgité.

Quand nous remontons, la terrasse est vide et le bruit nous indique que le reste du groupe s'est déplacé vers la grange et son donjon.

Quand nous arrivons, Tic et Tac sont déjà attachés en croix cote à cote contre le mur. Le cul de Tac semble intéresser leur pote JB alors que celui de Tic se fait doigter par Kev. Pierre est attaché sur un sling et se fait préparer le cul par Marc de même qu'Arnaud qui reçoit les faveurs d'Igor. Nous entrons dans la mèlée. Nicolas se fait travailler l'anus en travers d'une selle par Bruno et Eric lui rempli la bouche de son sexe. Petit à petit, des couples, trios sont partis vers les couchages de l'étage. Eric, lui est parti avec JB et Ric vers le donjon. Malgré l'insistance de Kev, Marc a tenu à ce que Pierre dorme avec nous. Dépité, il a rejoint le donjon, supputant un plan spécial entre ses murs.

J'ai fait un dernier tour de la maison, vérifiant que rien ne manquait à personne et j'ai rejoint Marc et Pierre dans notre chambre.
