Originally held in 2020, the 「テヅカプファイ���ィングユニバース CAPCOM VS. 手塚治虫CHARACTERS」 "Tezukapu Fighting Universe: Capcom VS. Osamu Tezuka Characters" exhibit will be held from June 30, 2023 to October 29, 2023 at the Osamu Tezuka Manga Museum. Information about the exhibit can be viewed in the sourced link.

Was talking some Kimba stuff on Discord and got inspired to do this idea... a little re-imagining that rather than Leo/Kimba carrying around and wearing his dead father’s hide around for guidance he’d instead wear Panja’s claw or tooth on a necklace 

Like I get it, I’m pretty sure Tezuka intended it to be the equivalent of carrying around the ashes of your deceased loved ones, but idk. Imo there could have been way less creepier ways to translate that idea rather than literally wearing the skin of your dead dad ¯\_(ツ)_/¯

Another fun fact no one asked for.

Panjyamon is a reference to Panja from Jungle Emperor/Kimba the White Lion.

Talking about references I was thinking if Hououmon X-Antibody is a reference to Tezuka's Phoenix, but it's probably more of an inspiration from Fenghuang myth than from Tezuka's design.

And there is also Plutomon, I think it's more the general shape that gives me that impression, but it's probably not inspired by it directly either.

I was going to use the Reference Book artworks but they are too small to see anything so too bad, using the card game, Survive and New Century arts.
