Hi guys,

We all know I love to try out products and the best way to try out a few products for a reasonable price is makeup gift sets. Usually around Christmas you will see gift sets like these everywhere and lucky for me Boots still had some in stock. KVD is a brand I used to adore (before all the controversy) and then stopped using for a while. A few years ago they rebranded and changed their owners so now I feel better about using the brand. This gift set seemed like the perfect set to use some old favourites and try some new products so today we are chatting about the KVD Beauty Moon Surge 3 Piece Set , £24.00.

In this gift set for £24.00 (at Boots on sale) you get 2 full sized products and 1 travel size. This set is worth £50.00 which is insane since I picked it up for half price. The first product we are going to chat about in the set is the reason I visited the brand stand to begin with, the full sized Dazzle Longwear Eyeshadow Stick in the shade Hail Serge (separately costing £20.00). I really wanted to try out one of these eyeshadow sticks and I realised if I paid £4.00 more I would get a full sized stick and 2 more products. Hail Serge is a gorgeous soft pearl shimmer which you can see swatched above, it looks stunning on the eyes and is really longwearing.

The second product is a Mini KVD Go Big Or Go Home Mascara , (£12.00 separately). This jet black, extreme volume mascara is perfect to give you long beautiful lashes. Personally I really like using it because it separates each lash perfectly and better yet doesn't transfer during the day. The third product is a full size Tattoo Liner Waterproof Liquid Eyeliner (£21.00 separately) is arguably the most iconic product from the brand. Everyone has loved this liner for a long time, it is a long lasting, jet black liner with a brush tip so you can get the perfect winged liner everytime. I used to adore this liner and honestly I'm so happy to have it back again!

Happy Monday! Or as I’ve been referring to it as: KVD Liquid Lip Day!

I’ve been very patiently awaiting this wonderful day of the Ulta Beauty 21 Days of Beauty Sale!

KVD transfer-proof liquid lips are half off today. I woke up a little earlier than usual and sleepily placed my order. I had myself a list of what shades I was after and I’m happy to report that I got ‘em all!

I AM SO EXCITED! KVD is pretty well known for having an awesome variety of bold colors. Being adventurous with my makeup is my absolute favorite way of self expression. It’s so nice when brands embrace their weird!

I don't really wear matte lipstick! I usually find it very drying, and especially this time of year my lips get dry enough as it is :(

on the other hand, gloss is usually too sticky for me, or worse, downright goopy :((((

Hi everyone!

We all know I love trying new foundations out and there was a new one going viral on TikTok but this time I decided to try before I buy. I know what you're all thinking wow Bella is being responsible for once. I decided to try my luck and headed to Boots to ask to be shade matched for the brand new KVD Beauty Good Apple Full-Coverage Serum Foundation. After I got shade matched instead of just buying the foundation I asked if I could grab a sample to test it out and the lady was so helpful. So take note you can ask for foundation samples before buying if you're unsure.

Anyway back to the foundation KVD recently brought out a new foundation called Good Apple Full-Coverage Serum Foundation. First off I'm really glad I got shade matched because the shade I thought I was turned out to be completely wrong, I thought I would be shade 10 but I'm actually shade Light 06. Now let's chat details, this foundation is designed to be a full coverage formula with a natural finish, transfer-proof extreme long wear with a lightweight serum feel. It has a lot going on and I don't have a lot of experience with serum / foundations I wanted to test it before I bought a full size.

This foundation really surprised me because it has such a lightweight feel on the skin and yet it is very full coverage. Not only that but it also smooths your skin which is a added bonus. Wearing this formula on my complexion, it didn't feel like I had anything on my skin and yet my skin looked flawless. The foundation itself lasted really well on my oily combo complexion giving me a satin matte finish. I love that this foundation does so much and yet just feels like a serum on the face. If you like a full coverage foundation that feels incredibly lightweight then this could be your new best friend!

Personally I'm buying the full sized version when I use up the samples. I have been wearing this foundation for 2 weeks and honestly the samples have lasted really well and my complexion is constantly complimented when I'm wearing this foundation. There are a lot of shades in this foundation range so I recommend getting colour matched if you don't already wear KVD foundations. As always everything is linked above.
