the end of the book of mormon is obviously very bleak and didactic as Mormon and Moroni fully give up on their people and talk directly to the "gentiles", but it's also kind of hilarious because they both just looked around at the world and the people around them and went. SAD! well theres other civilizations

Wherefore, my beloved brethren, have miracles ceased because Christ hath ascended into heaven, and hath sat down on the right hand of God, to claim of the Father his rights of mercy which he hath upon the children of men?
For he hath answered the ends of the law, and he claimeth all those who have faith in him; and they who have faith in him will cleave unto every good thing; wherefore he advocateth the cause of the children of men; and he dwelleth eternally in the heavens.
Moroni 7:27-28

I blame my English and Communications Teachers for my reignited love of writing
Is it a bad thing, no. I have plenty of thoughts in my head, and even if I never share them, just writing them down gives me some relief
But, I'm also not the best at writing. Every thought in my head seems impossible to properly express in words, and even when I do find the words, they seem insufficient. I imagine this is what Nephi, Mormon, and Moroni felt like, having too many ideas to express, and lamenting that people may never truly understand every single concept behind each word, each letter even (Moroni even talks about this issue in Ether 12 (one of the best chapters in the Book of Mormon, in my opinion))
To make a long story short, I have an entire folder on Google Drive filled with essays about everything from Work from Home to Neurodersity & Eternal Identity, just because I got bored

Let's bring back this look
He appears so earnest and serious and normal, like a young man one might meet today, except that he is dressed like an oddly colorless clown
(The Tailor, by Moroni, sixteenth century)
