Das Osiris Grab Sicher kennen die wenigsten diesen komplex was immer umso verblüffender ist, wenn man sich vor Augen hält das dieses Grab sich sehr nah zur Cheops-Pyramide befindet und sogar so nah das es Tunnelsysteme enthält die jene Komplexe einschließlich die Sphinx miteinander verbindet. Und zwar durch ein Kilometerlanges Tunnelsystem unter der Erde was heutzutage immer noch nicht vollständig untersucht worden ist. Tauchen wir mal ab denn unter den riesigen Plato von Gizeh beginnt der Abstieg in die Unterwelt wie die Tunnelsysteme auch genannt werden. Die Existenz der mysteriösen unterirdischen grab Anlage wurde von der Fachwelt lange als Hirngespinst des griechischen Historikers Herodot von Halikarnass abgestempelt.In seinen 2ten Historischen Werk berichtet Herodot von einer Gruft unter dem Felsenhügel, auf dem die großen Pyramiden stehen. Und in dieser Gruft so notierte Herodot umflutete ein künstlicher See eine Insel worauf der Pharao Cheops bestattet worden sei. Wiederentdeckt wurde das Osiris Grab erst im Jahr 1933 von den Ägyptologen Selim Hassan und ab 2008 untersuchte sie auch der Chef-Ägyptologe Zahi Hawass ausführlicher. Der Eingang liegt versteckt unter dem Aufgang, der von der Sphinx hinauf zur Pyramide des Chephren führt. Und es ist einfach nur verblüffend, wenn man feststellt, dass Herodot die Wahrheit Sprach denn genau wie von ihn Beschrieben ist hier ein See. Mittendrin eine rechteckige Plattform. An den 4 Ecken der Plattform sowie an der Decke gibt es Überreste quadratischer Säulen die zerstört wurden. In der Plattform ist eine rechteckige Vertiefung eingelassen. Darin eingebettet liegt ein Mächtiger Granit-Sarkophag der mindestens an die 15 Tonnen wiegt. Da fragt man sich wie haben die Ägypter den Sarkophag hier runter bekommen oder war er schon vorher hier? 2,500-Year-Old Tombs of Man and Woman With Gold Tongues Found in Egypt

Spanish archaeological mission uncovers sarcophagi, three golden tongues and hundreds of funerary figurines in El Bahnasa.

A Spanish archaeological mission has unearthed two tombs containing the remains of a man and woman dating back 2,500 years in El Bahnasa, about 220 kilometres south of Cairo.

Three gold foil amulets in the shape of tongues inside the mouths of human remains were also found, said Egypt’s Ministry of Tourism and Antiquities.

One of the tombs from the Saite dynasty, a late period of ancient Egypt up to 525BC, was discovered completely sealed.

“This is very important, because it’s rare to find a tomb that is totally sealed,” Esther Pons Melado, co-director of the archaeological mission of Oxyrhynchus, told The National.

The University of Barcelona set up the mission at Oxyrhynchus, the ancient name of El Bahnasa in El Minya governorate, as long ago as 1992.

Inside the sealed tomb was a limestone male sarcophagus with a mummy in a good state of preservation, four canopic jars, amulets such as the scarab and about 400 ushabti funerary figurines made of faience.

The second tomb of the woman had been opened in ancient times and the remains were not in good condition, Ms Melado said.

The three golden tongues found outside the tombs include one belonging to a 3-year-old child and two in the mouths of adults. They date to the Roman period in Egypt, starting in 30BC.

In February, golden tongues were discovered at the temple of Taposiris Magna near Alexandria. The Tourism and Antiquities Ministry has said that the tongues were meant to help the deceased converse with Osiris, the ancient Egyptian god of the dead, on their way to the afterlife.

Ms Melado said golden tongues have been found in only Alexandria and El Bahnasa, including 11 discovered “some years ago” and now on display in museums.

She has led the archaeological mission with co-director Maite Mascort since 2019 and the excavation team of 14 comes from Spain, Italy, France, the US and Egypt.

“There have been many discoveries in the area over the last 30 years,” Hassan Amer, the mission’s excavation director and professor in the Greco-Roman department at Cairo University’s faculty of archaeology, told The National.

In May 2020, the mission discovered a cemetery from the Saite period, as well as eight Roman-era tombs.

Oxyrhynchus is considered one of Egypt's most important archaeological sites. In the late 19th century, archaeologists discovered a huge collection of papyrus scrolls dating from the Ptolemaic kingdom and the Roman period.

“It’s also very important to see the type of Saite tombs and compare with other Saite tombs in Saqqara or Tanis,” Mr Amer said.

The discovery of dozens of sealed coffins in October last year, most with mummies inside, was made at the Saqqara necropolis.

The latest find is one of many archaeological discoveries that Egypt has publicised recently to help revive its tourism sector, which has not fully recovered since the 2011 uprising and has suffered more recently from the coronavirus pandemic.

Omm Seti: La mujer que fue una sacerdotisa egipcia en su vida pasada

Dorothy Louise Eady nació en 1904, en el barrio londinense de Blackheath, de una familia de origen irlandés. Su padre era sastre y su madre era ama de casa. 

Cuando tenía apenas 3 años de edad, se cayó por una escalera y quedó en un estado muy grave. Su familia llamó a un médico y éste, tras verla, solo pudo certificar que había muerto.

Tras dejar el cadáver de Dorothy sobre la cama de su habitación, el médico regresó al salón para acompañar a los desconcertados padres. 

Transcurridos sesenta minutos el médico volvió a la habitación de la niña. Estupefacto descubrió, no un cadáver inerte sino a una inquieta niña jugando sobre la cama, ajena a todo lo que había ocurrido momentos antes. 

La delicada Dorothy no lo sospechaba, pero alguien había regresado desde un pasado muy remoto para revivirla.

Desde ese momento, empezó a tener unas extrañas pesadillas, en las que se veía dentro de una especie de templo, rodeada de gente vestida de una manera muy extraña.

Dirigida por una extraña intuición mística, Dorothy no cesaba de repetir a sus padres un angustioso “¡quiero volver a casa!”, como si su modesta vivienda londinense no fuera su hogar natural.

Sus padres la interrogaban sobre esa extraña casa; preguntas a las que Dorothy no sabía contestar ya que solamente podía guiarse por sus misteriosas visiones. 

La respuesta a todas estas intrigantes preguntas no tardaría en llegar.

Al cumplir los 4 años, su familia la llevó a ver el Museo Británico. Parece ser que ella no prestó especial interés por las salas de esa institución, hasta que llegó a las dedicadas al antiguo Egipto.

Se volvió como loca de felicidad, porque afirmaba haber vuelto a su casa. 

Incluso, se puso a besar los pies de las estatuas allí expuestas y a contemplar a las momias, como si hubiera conocido antes a todas esas personas. 

Incluso, tuvieron que sacarla de una forma un tanto enérgica, porque no quería irse de allí.

Cuando ya tenía 7 años, se puso a mirar una revista y allí pudo ver unas fotos del templo de Seti I, en Abydos, Egipto. Reconoció, inmediatamente, ese edificio como el que había visto cientos de veces en sus sueños.

Incluso, le dijo a su padre que no comprendía cómo estaba en ese estado tan ruinoso y por qué no existía ya un bonito jardín, que había a la entrada y que a ella siempre le había gustado mucho.

Cuando Dorothy tenía 14 años, cierta noche se le apareció una extraña figura cubierta con una túnica blanca y una capa azul. No tuvo duda de quién era esa misteriosa aparición: se trataba, ni más ni menos, del faraón Seti I, el mismo que mandó construir “su casa”, el templo de Abydos.

Una vez realizado el contacto, y como si se tratara de fichas de dominó, los acontecimientos sucedieron en cascada de forma súbita. 

A lo largo de casi diez años, Dorothy comenzó a recibir en las noches de luna llena pequeños mensajes por medio de la escritura automática. Nada de particular hubieran tenido estos mensajes si no fuera porque estaban redactados en la escritura jeroglífica de los antiguos egipcios. 

A través de estos comunicados, Dorothy comenzó a comprender, maravillada, su auténtica realidad.

A lo largo de diferentes fragmentos recibidos en días distintos, con mucho trabajo, consiguió reunir un pequeño manuscrito de 70 páginas. 

Su “confidente” desde el Más Allá, un tal Hor-Ra, le dictó en varios pasajes grandes retazos de su vida anterior. 

Dorothy descubrió que en otra vida había sido una joven llamada Bentreshyt y que había crecido desde los 3 años en el templo de Abydos. Allí fue dejada por su padre, un militar incapaz de hacerse cargo de la niña después de que su madre, una modesta vendedora de frutas, falleciera.

A los 12 años, Bentreshyt profesó como sacerdotisa del templo de Seti I. Uno de los votos que tuvo que hacer fue el de castidad. 

Sin embargo, unos años después, llegó a conocer personalmente al faraón Seti I, del que fue amante. A consecuencia de esa relación, quedó embarazada. 

Parece ser que un día habló con el Sumo Sacerdote, el cual le dijo que ese embarazo era una especie de ofensa contra la diosa Isis y que le podría causar muchos problemas al faraón.

Así que, fruto de la desesperación, a ella no se le ocurrió otra cosa que suicidarse, para no perjudicar a nadie y porque la podrían haber llevado a un juicio, donde la hubieran condenado a muerte. 

Parece ser que al faraón no le gustó su decisión y juró que nunca la olvidaría.

Dorothy empezó a estudiar Egiptología y a aprender el antiguo lenguaje jeroglífico egipcio. 

Para ello, tuvo un gran maestro. Se trató nada menos que de Sir Ernest Wallis Budge, conservador del Museo Británico y gran experto en esa lengua. Entre otras cosas, tradujo el famoso Libro de los muertos.

Aparte de que siempre fue muy aficionado a la Parapsicología y el caso de la niña se podría decir que sólo se podría comprender si alguien era un iniciado en esa materia.

La niña creció siendo católica pero, conforme se iba sumergiendo en la cultura egipcia, fue practicando los ritos de la antigua religión de ese pueblo.

Es posible que, por eso, y por sus repetidos sueños, le llevaran más de una vez a que la viera un psiquiatra.

Incluso, entró a formar parte de un grupo de teatro aficionado, en el cual representó en más de una ocasión una obra basada en la muerte de Osiris, según la mitología egipcia. 

Dorothy representó el papel de Isis, esposa de Osiris.

En 1931, se casó con un estudiante egipcio, llamado Iman Abd El Megid. Con él tuvo un hijo, de nombre Seti, lo que hizo que desde aquel momento, todo el mundo la llamara Omm Seti, “la madre de Seti”.

Con 29 años, un pasaje de barco permitiría a Dorothy Eady, por fin, marchar en busca de su pasado y resolver para siempre su gran enigma interior. 

En 1933 llegó a Port Said donde tomaría un tren hasta la capital cairota. Salvo en un par de ocasiones, no abandonaría jamás esta tierra.

Tal vez porque ella solía decir que de noche soñaba con haberse vuelto a acostar con Seti I o algo parecido, pero su matrimonio no duró mucho tiempo.

Se divorció en 1936, cuando él aceptó un puesto de profesor en Irak y ella no le quiso acompañar.

La gente la veía como una persona rara, porque visitaba los templos, se descalzaba antes de entrar en ellos y oraba frecuentemente ante los antiguos dioses y faraones egipcios, y les llevaba ofrendas. Incluso, pasó alguna noche en la Gran Pirámide.

En los 20 años que estuvo en la zona de Menfis, participó en las excavaciones de muchos lugares importantes de la meseta de las pirámides, realizando publicaciones de monumentos que luego arqueólogos como Selim Hassan o Ahmed Fakhry publicaban como propios.

Y aunque pueda parecer extraño, incluso a sabiendas de que la clave de su vida se encontraba a cientos de kilómetros al sur de Gizeh, en Abydos, Omm Seti no viajó a esta ciudad hasta 1952.

Al llegar a Abydos, lo primero que hizo fue ir a ver el famoso templo de Seti I, que hay en esa ciudad y que, por entonces, se hallaba en ruinas. 

Parece que los guardias del templo se la tomaron a broma y, aunque ya era de noche, la invitaron a que recorriera el edificio y les indicara una serie de salas.

Aunque se suponía que ella no había estado nunca en ese edificio, parecía conocerlo como la palma de su mano. Lo cual dejó asombrados a esos funcionarios.

Por esa misma razón, otro día, el inspector jefe del departamento de Antigüedades, la quiso poner a prueba. Para ello, le pidió que, aunque estaba a oscuras, identificase una serie de murales, que había en las paredes de ese templo. Cosa que ella hizo sin ningún problema.

Fue así que la ficharon para ser la primera mujer que trabajara en el Consejo Supremo de Antigüedades de Egipto.

Allí escribió muchos artículos, que luego firmaron otros y se llevaron una gloria inmerecida. Sin embargo, también escribió algunos libros, donde ya figuraba ella como autora de los mismos.

A lo largo de su vida fueron numerosas las ocasiones en las que tuvo la oportunidad de protagonizar encuentros nocturnos con el faraón Seti I, llegando incluso a realizar el acto sexual. 

Durante las tertulias que mantenía con el antiguo monarca egipcio, Omm Seti solía preguntar acerca de algunos de los problemas que más la inquietaban, como la existencia de la Atlántida y la vida extraterrestre.

Seti I le relató algunos de sus fantásticos viajes por estos planetas sin especificar el medio de locomoción empleado. 

Según el monarca, muchos de ellos estaban habitados por seres humanos. Sin lugar a dudas, lo más espectacular de todo es la descripción futurista realizada por el faraón de una gran ciudad con calles anchas y “cosas metálicas con ventanas y asientos en el interior pero que no tenían ni alas ni ruedas”.

Gracias a sus amplios conocimientos, muchos arqueólogos pudieron encontrar el jardín que, según recordaba ella, se hallaba a las puertas de ese templo. 

Incluso, desenterraron uno de sus pozos, el cual aún estaba lleno de agua. 

También colaboró en la restauración del templo, a base de identificar la posición de miles de piedras, con grabados en relieve. 

De ese modo, se tardaron mucho menos en restaurar este templo que en el resto de los de Egipto.

Fue una gran ayuda para muchos egiptólogos. Gracias a ella pudieron encontrar muchas cosas, conocer a fondo el antiguo mundo egipcio e, incluso, llegó a mencionar el contenido de muchos papiros recién hallados, sin tener necesidad de haberlos leído antes.

Es más, llegó a decir que, en una de sus conversaciones con Seti I, éste le dijo dónde estaba la tan buscada tumba de Nefertiti. Parece ser que está camuflada muy cerca de la de Tutankamon. O sea, que podría estar en esa cámara que, según afirman los especialistas, podría haber tras la tumba de ese faraón.

Afirmó, también, que existía un túnel, que pasaba por debajo del muro norte del templo. Lo cual se pudo comprobar unos años después. 

También dijo que existía una bóveda bajo el templo, donde se guardaban archivos históricos sobre el Antiguo Egipto y hasta un diario de Seti I, pero aún no ha sido hallada. 

Le dijo a los egiptólogos que la famosa Esfinge de Guiza no es una construcción del tiempo de los faraones, sino que se remonta a muchos siglos más atrás.

Tras su jubilación, en 1969, se dedicó a ser una guía para los turistas que visitaban Abydos. De una manera inmejorable, les iba explicando el significado de las pinturas que decoraban esos templos.

En 1972, tras sufrir un ataque cardiaco, se mudó a una casa de adobe, junto a la de unos amigos, que también habían trabajado en el templo de Seti I.

Su hijo Seti la invitó a trasladarse a Kuwait, donde trabajaba y residía con su numerosa familia. Sin embargo, ella se negó argumentando que toda su vida había soñado con vivir en Abydos y allí quería morir.

Con una frialdad admirable, Omm Seti nunca tuvo reparos en organizar celosamente su funeral con enorme antelación, igual que si hubiera vivido en el antiguo Egipto. 

Lo dejó todo preparado para que fuera inhumada en el pequeño patio que había junto a su casa. Sin embargo, por problemas burocráticos no pudo ser así. 

A pesar de todo, Egipto, respaldado por la comunidad egiptológica al completo, que siempre la admiró y la respetó, le otorgó un lugar de honor en el mejor de los paraísos que un egipcio podía esperar: ser enterrado en el occidente, no lejos del templo que fue su casa, para seguir así el curso de los rayos del sol en el atardecer.

La singularidad de esta mujer no era sólo que afirmara haber vivido en el antiguo Egipto, sino que lo demostraba diariamente.

   The Mummy AU

imagine: 3000 years ago, a woman fell in love with a man. Equally besotted, the man did all he could to please the woman. Though their desires were accepted, their love was forbidden. For he was pharaoh and his life had already been promised to another. Still, the man did not relinquish the woman, even after his wedding night, and would instead seek her out in secret whenever his days would allow.

One evening, the woman announced that she was with child. Her mother, the woman said - a seer and wisewoman at the temple of Osiris - foresaw that she would bear them a son.

Both were happy and so rejoiced.

Many suns and moons later, a servant to the The Great Royal Wife discovered the boy’s existence. When she was delivered the news, the queen entered a jealous rage for she, despite all efforts, had thus far been unable to bear her husband a child. The queen plotted to kill the boy and, once successful, ordered her husband’s mistress arrested and punished for a blasphemy the woman didn’t commit. 

She was taken to Hamunaptra - the City of the Dead - and given the punishment of Hom-Dai (a curse so potent, so horrible, that it had never before been used). The slaves who performed the task were slain and the soldiers who slaughtered them were killed so that no unholy person remained who knew the whereabouts of the burial site. 

And so there the woman was lost beneath the sand for all time.

and how would i explain why Fíli, Kíli and Tíli’s names sound practically identical!? i wouldn’t. totally not even bother acknowledging it. ignorance is bliss.

King Hassan can't use Evening Bell on Goddess of Rhongomyniad. He said the heaven/his Lord didn't command him to do so. At the same time he recognized what she did as sins. She's evil in human moral sense but her nature as a goddess made it impossible to judge her appropriately. That or her existence and Authority is equal to or surpass that of the one behind King Hassan's Evening Bell. Furthermore, she precisely is the one that missed out on the chance to die as a human. That is another category for the recipient of Evening Bell. Did her transform into a goddess make it too late for Evening Bell to work on her? King Hassan as Grand Assassin is meant to combat Beast, not agents of Gaia. If he had tried what he did to Tiamat on Goddess of Rhongomyniad, could it even work? He could fight her but it'd be without all the terrifying powers and abilities meant to prevent humankind's extinction. As long as he is Grand and adheres to his Lord, King Hassan can't fight Goddess of Rhogomyniad. She is already one with the World as suggested by MHX's Presence Concealment EX.

In spite of the claim that Goddess Rhogomyniad is fully a deity, Artoria's human values still influence many of her decision. She specifically chose the 'good' human souls to preserve. Dust of Osiris did something similar but is indiscriminate in turning humans into Philosopher's Stones. In the future where Dust of Osiris succeeded, the scale of massacre is more total than Goddess Rhongomyniad's. She summoned her Round Table knights while she could make use of the Reinforcement Knights herself, showing the attachment to her old subjects. The blatant favoritism Goddess Rhongomyniad displayed mirrored that of Artoria even if her reasons for that were twisted/forgotten. Harvesting the souls doesn't necessitate the building of an utopia like castle but she did it to provide bliss for the chosen ones. If anything, Chaldea (and us the players) was given a taste of what it's like to be on the opposing side to Artoria the King.

In the end, the Holy Lance can't erase 'Artoria' from the vessel it possessed. Excalibur too was said to preserve Bedivere's body, not his mind. Why is it that when she was given back Excalibur, we assumed she regained her 'lost humanity'? It's possible that since she's a divine spirit now, coming into contact with Excalibur let her link up het memories of other timelines. Consequently, the combined emotions of other Artorias either filled in the blank left behind by Rhon or reignited the sleeping parts.

Nicknames: Little Man (Adam calls him this jokingly), Prince, Monnie, Osi, Lil Bro (Adrianna’s nickname for him), Bug Eyes (was called this as a derogatory nickname by other kids because his eyes are unusually large), Man Cub (The Adam Royal Family are often portrayed as lions and since Amon is the youngest, he is the baby cub)

Age: I am yet to decide on his actual age

Headcanons:

1 He is the youngest of the Tomaz family and the Black Adam family

2 He had 3 older siblings. Adrianna is the oldest. His two older brothers Hassan and Ishaaq got murdered  by a group of thugs on their way home from school

3 He was bullied as a kid because of his big eyes hence the nickname Bug Eyes

4 His family is part Egyptian part Kahndaqi and he was born in Egypt.

5 He now hates reptiles especially crocodiles thanks to Sobek’s betrayal

6 He has a scar by his torso from where Sobek bit him

7 He loves big cats especially lions. This becomes ironic because Sobek feared cats and that was why Amon never had a pet

8 Ladies love him because he is very handsome plus he is very adorable and friendly

9 He lost his virginity to Cassie Sandsmark

10 He is the most fashionable member of the Royal family and as such, a lot of Midddle Eastern fashion blogs and magazines have started paying attention to him and he is often invited to fashion shows and whatnot. Adam gets jealous of his fashion sense

11 He is the shortest member of the family at 5 ft 9″. He gets pissed off by this because Adam likes to tease the kid mercilessly about this

12 He was paralyzed initially by Intergang but thanks to some unexplained phenomenon (possibly the White Lantern ring), he can now walk again

13 When Maleka broke his heart, Amon began to develop a playboy like persona and slept around and dabbled in alcohol and drugs.  It was Cassie’s suicide that forced him to rethink his life choices

Alright so with Sion apparently coming to aid(?) Gudako and Mash at the end of Lostbelt 02, we learned something about the Fate version of Sion: She’s Sion Eltnam Sokaris, her original name, and not Sion Eltnam Atlasia. This tells us two things:

1.) Combining with the trivia from Sherlock that Zepia was the last director of Atlas, we know in the Fate timeline the Eltnams’ enemies succeeded in kicking the family out of Atlas by Zepia’s time. They were likely hunted down and killed by the Magus Association as possible leaks, or perhaps they were transferred to the Clocktower. Either way, Etherlite proved too dangerous for the rest of Atlas to abide by.

2.) Without the Atlasia title, Sion will be WITHOUT her best weapon, the Black Barrel replica. The gun is a near perfect replica of the only weapon capable of introducing the concept of death to immortal beings (King Hassan’s sword is due to his own abilities over the sword being special I think), which greatly nerfs her usefulness against the much more powerful enemies Chaldea’s fighting in the Lostbelts. ___

All that being said, she’s still one of the smartest girls in the Nasuverse, and her Etherlite ability to read minds, hack powers (she once forced Shiki Tohno to be able to use his super speed at will instead of in bursts) and control weaker minds (they’re ALL weaker) would make her an invaluable addition to Chaldea (and open up a TON of delicious moral quandaries. Would it be ethical to simply force every Crypter into surrendering if you’re doing it to save the world? etc) We might also very well be seeing older Sion as the Dust of Osiris, a supercomputer capable of remotely controlling Tri-Hermes and even able to force open holes in time and space. There’s so many possibilities they can go with this!
