A post went around showing stills with captions from a documentary explaining how Horror is a thing Queers like and Straights don't like because Queerness involves being uncomfortable, which Straights can't handle.

I find the argument a bit reductive, but more importantly, I find it ableist.

Still, I'm sure the person involved was entirely sincere, and probably surrounded by fellow queer horror fans.

And that makes me wonder - I am surrounded by fellow neurodivergent queer friends, who may or may not be horror fans, generally. We all seem to like spooky, but many of us strongly dislike jump scares, gore, and other overwhelming sensory input.

So... Convenient sample, I know, but what ARE the actual rates of liking horror and being queer, neurodivergent, both, or neither??
