It was funny, Elessar always enjoyed her antics – and their banter knew no bounds. Theo’s baggage was at least spicy and had a good sense of humor. “How was the gutter last night? Hope it wasn’t too uncomfortable.” The faiman held a drink out towards her, raising an eyebrow. They had to start the shots early if they were going to make it through the festival.

parker’s digits lingered over the numerous bottles atop the dorm room table. glenlivet, fortaleza, and humboldt, among many others, sat under her tapping fingertips as she considered which to grab. if she were honest, she’d prefer a flute of champagne over any and all of them. sure, that might come off snobby, but in truth there was just nothing else that made a party feel so exciting. celebratory. not that anyone was really celebrating tonight, but that was a digression.

parker’s hand had made its way to one end of the lineup, prepared to make its way back down for a second look, when someone else reached towards the spirits. in return, she pulled back, allowing them to go for whatever they liked while she continued deliberating. only, a slight glance in the other’s direction and parker was sidetracked from the whole small ordeal. “rhia?” she greeted, offering a smile and delightfully creased brows. “you’re back, i had no idea.” quite the obvious statement, there, but what the hell.

“It was fun” Ezekiel admitted as he tossed the dead heart on the ground, he wasn’t sure if he was meant to feel anything but he’d fed until he was full and when he was done there was so much screaming. So much panic, it was more annoying and bothersome than it was heart wrenching so the vampire had just... reached into their chest and stopped it all at once. “Kind of.” Witches, fey, druids, these fucking necromancers - they all talked about power but in the end they were all breakable. Their bodies didn’t hold up against something like him. Something like them. “Is it supposed to feel so, I don’t know- easy?”

I fucking hate this body because our stupid brain doesn't match it. My body is taller and flexible, I fucking love dancing and moving because it works! This body is just so awkward to move in and I have to try and relearn everything just so I don't fall over.

I know exactly how to body roll, how to walk in heels, how to walk and move without being awkward but awkward is all this body knows!! It's great for the artists because you don't need balance to relearn drawing, but I'm just fucked!

Erica perused the shelves, looking for a choice that would at the very least placate everyone. When they were younger it’d been easy. Her mom would take Lucas and her to the video store, they’d run around the aisles, she’d politely but firmly - as only she could - tell them to slow down, and even though she said before they entered that they were only getting one movie, Lucas would get his pick and Erica would get hers. There was the odd time that they’d agree, but that was only on a full moon during the third week of the month.

Erica slid her choice, Top Gun, across the counter to the woman behind the counter. Erica knew her name and she was pretty sure they’d spoken before, but it was only ever in passing.

“It’s difficult to find a movie that everyone in the Sinclair household likes, but this should do it.”
