Duuuude you're brave for posting your art on Twitter. People over there are fucking crybabies and will literally harass you for drawing fake people in a way they don't like.

I'm not one of them. I love your art and the way you draw. Bluffy is my new favorite ship because of you. I'm just saying you're bold as fuck and I seriously envy your courage.

This pisses me off for several reasons. First, I'll be clear. Anon, you did not piss me off in any way, so do not be put off by the aggression of my reply.

Nobody should be fucking scared to post their art anywhere. Art of fictional characters doing WHATEVER is exactly what it is. Art and fiction. I am so goddamn tired of these prissy fucking babies coming at artists who are simply enjoying themselves. "Antis" and the whole "proship dni" community who base their morality on how you portray fiction can suck a fat fucking cock. They so desperately tell us not to interact with them, but the moment we post something we're proud of, all of a sudden they wanna talk. All of a sudden, interaction is okay. As long as it's an attack from THEM. As long as they can degrade, threaten and make us feel like we don't have any right to enjoy something that literally doesn't fucking hurt them.

Azutara/kazula fix all the main points of the never ending “kaatang vs zutara which is better” battle:

- No age gap, they are same age.

- If you want a enemies to lovers or a enemies to friends to lovers, be my guest.

- 0 hate towards Zuko or Aang, kazula stuff are truly respectful to everyone especially them, Zuko is usually a good brother and Aang is a really good friend.

Sometimes I forget how angry people get about ships that aren't harmful 😅

Tim Drake is canonly bi and he has a boyfriend. People ship him with his ex girlfriend. Both of those ships are completely fine, I think timbern is cute and I don't ship timsteph but I get they were together a while and people like them.

That being said I made a poll to see which Tim ship is most popular (I enjoy seeing what people think yk, it's entertaining) and Steph was one of the options but so was Bernard and someone rebloged it saying if timsteph didn't win it would be misogyny?

Neither of them are winning btw lol, connor is which is its own weirdly controversial thing

The thing is-

Timsteph isn't a bad ship. They were together a while, they were cute. Lots of people grew up with timsteph and like them.

Timbern isn't a bad ship. Just because Tim's dating a guy now doesn't mean he hates Steph or anything, he just moved on (and so did Steph!) and he's bisexual, he isn't just suddenly gay. They're cute too, and it's nice to see representation.

Timkon also isn't a bad ship. They're close friends which is the base to a good relationship, if they got together it'd also be good.

You know what is a bad ship? Tim and Jason. Or Damian, or Dick, or Bruce. And yet I see more people mad about shipping Tim with his boyfriend or his ex girlfriend or his best friend than I see people mad about shipping him with his siblings and his dad.

As someone who does not really vibe with Zutara (mainly because aroace katara is everything to me, and I like some zukka fic), I do not understand why people seem so fucking mad about it? Like, you reblogged one (1) post being slightly negative about Azutara and you got like... 3 hate anons in the span of 15 minutes, and that's just the ones you answered. My respect for you and the ship community at large has just doubled, how do you do it?

Also wanted to send some love your way, because the anons seem rough. I liked the fics of yours I have read, even as someone who doesn't really vibe with romance-centered fiction! You're really good at crafting dialogue, and I love the nuances and subtext in conversations when you write.

Thoughts on Sydney, Marcus, and Black Love

Sydney and Marcus form an immediate connection at the beef. He protects her and they create a mentor/mentee dynamic because Sydney has more professional training than him but sees his skillset and value as patisserie. There’s familiarity between them and they stick beside each other when Carmy loses it and they both quit. Sydney easily welcomes him into her home and cooks for him, which is something she does for people she loves. She loves taking care of people in that way.

Sydney advocates for his training and advancement in the work place. She asks about his family. Their banter and conversation is natural. They speak and share the same language. Sydney is at ease with him in a way she is not with most people. But she’s still holding back. She is never vulnerable with him. Not because she doesn’t want to be but because that’s not the type of relationship they have.

She purposefully keeps their relationship superficial. He provides comfort and familiarity in their otherwise chaotic and competitive world. She is his superior but also his peer. There’s a professional veneer that she keeps up with this relationship. And as much as there is a severe lack of two Black people shown in healthy romantic relationships in mainstream tv, this is not that. Their relationship lacks any of the romantic tension that is needed for a friends to lovers arc.

It is not detrimental to the progress of black love on tv for their relationship to remain what it is because it’s necessary for both of their characters to have that camaraderie in such a competitive and toxic career. It is a form of black love. Of course Marcus wants to test the boundaries of his relationship with Sydney because who wouldn’t? Her reaction demonstrates exactly how she feels about him and their relationship. She says herself that it would be weird for them to go on a date. She doesn’t see him in a romantic way. But she still loves and cares about him and their friendship. My suspicions is that she will be his main support system when his mom inevitably passes. How important is it that Sydney receives respect, protection, and adoration from a black man and it is not contingent on her romantic interest in him! This is the beautiful male/female platonic friendship dynamic in the show that everyone is looking for.

And I’m not going to go into details about the difference of Sydney’s relationship with Carmy because that’s been done a million times over. The main idea is that the undefinable nature of their relationships leaves open the opportunity for romance. It’s the way a lot of their scenes are shot and scored and acted. It’s the way they move around each other and the push and pull of their personalities that leave open that question of what are they going to do with all of that underlying tension? Are they Shaq and Kobe? Or are they Jay Z and Beyoncé? (These are terrible examples but you get what I’m saying).

And as terrible as it is to admit, I don’t think race is a factor when it comes to the way the personal relationship of Sydney and Carmy is building. Because these characters could be any race and the dynamic would still remain the same and we’d still feel the same based on the way the story is being told. It’s not real life. It’s fiction. Carmy is never gonna be perfect and doesn’t have to be for a romantic relationship with Sydney to make sense. And vice versa.

Sometimes it’s okay to let societal issues fall away when it comes to fiction. This is a way to escape all of that.

And I know I’m picking and choosing when and where race/gender matters in this show but I think it is too. Professionally it matters. Personally it doesn’t.

When you compare Chaggie to other canon relationships in the universe, like Fizzmodeus, Moxillie... You realize how poor they really are in comparison. The fact that they are already a couple when the show begins is not an excuse, especially when you compare once again to these two canon couples already established that I cited above. Even StaticMoth vague secondary relationship seems more interesting from what little we've seen of it, not to mention the borderline mythological story of Lucilith which is extremely intriguing. Not to mention the relationships in development like Stolitz (frankly epic by the way) CherriSnake and Huskerdust... I mean, compared to all these other main romantic relationships that are already canon, those that are more or less canon but secondary, and those that are currently being developed... Chaggie is no match for me... I heard that they were originally just supposed to be best friends and that the designer changed that at the last minute ? Well if it's true, it shows. And a lot. And it's a shame, because they have great potential. But I don't find it treated well enough... It's very sad to be called homophobic by part of the fandom for this simple difference of opinion.

I agree. I feel like we have both - we have multiple canon relationships that have been done, but they are treated as relationships that are developing or organically working, such as Millie and Moxie. While I understand that Viv decided to make Charlie and Vaggie a thing, it would also seem that from pilot to Season, they could have added some elements that make the relationship much more organic and such. To make Vaggie her “protector” just ruffles me up a lot. Seeing them maybe have more conversation, engaging, flirting, and such would have made more sense. Not “You have to be careful!” Or “Maybe we shouldn’t do something” does not tell me that the relationship is working. Charlie has some grand ideas that Vaggie doesn’t seem to accept.

I really like Charlie, and I want someone who could be supportive.

And then someone out there is going to be like “It isn’t Alastor!” I didn’t say that, however, he has done more for her confidence than Vaggie has, and I absolutely believe he is going to be a big bad for them, but then Charlie is going to lead him down a better path-which, unfortunately people STILL don’t seem to understand that that is the ENTIRE point of Hazbin-Sinners are not EVIL, they have made decisions that are not GOOD, and that Heaven themselves are also not making strict black and white choices with who they are putting there(Adam should be in Hell, change my mind).

Problem is, we have some great, GREAT characters! I love them all in their own way, but relationship mechanics? The story? Meh. I’m having fun with my own ship, and Chaggie can enjoy theirs. It’s as simple as that.

Black Butler Opinion

The idea of Mey-Rin with Ronald Knox makes me want to retch from my eyeballs; however, I want him to hit on her more and for her to possibly even consider going out with him for a very simple reason. It will infuriate Sebastian, who will then question his strong reaction, realise he's jealous, then finally start to piece it together that he's grown fond of Mey-Rin and wants her to himself.

I'm not saying I think it's going to happen, just that it should happen.
