all jokes aside tho u guys have a really secure relationship and are able to do things in pairs rather than all 3 of u being together 24/7

like u and woojin, u and gunwoo, and gunwoo and woojin all have ur own things u like to do in pairs and it's nice for whoever doesn't go to have some alone time

they (try to) teach u how to box if ur interested

or if ur a boxer urself even better! all 3 of u can practice and compete in tournaments together (ur gonna be rich from all the prize money u guys win together)

practices with all 3 of u usually ends up with u guys just messing around but it's fun while it lasts

trying to go to sleep with these two is chaotic to say the least. u guys all eventually end up moving in together and apartments r expensive so u guys thought it would be a good idea to just have one bedroom with a singular king sized bed in it

Reading about the cultural and social importance of bathing throughout Chinese history (because I am exactly the kind of person who spends hours reading about the cultural and social importance of bathing throughout Chinese history for no particular reason on a Tuesday night) and obviously now I'm imagining the sects all lowkey competing with regards to their public baths -- or at least the ones meant for visiting disciples and dignitaries.

The Jin are obviously doing The Most and being incredibly tacky about it. The floor of the bath is made of gold tile that dull super quickly and the whole tub needs to be frequently drained so the tiles can be deep cleaned and polished, and of course once they're shiny they reflect light up and through the water in a way that's actually really distracting. The bath bean has crushed pearls and seventy four different types of flowers in it. The benches are intricately engraved and inlaid with gems in places that pinch your butt when you sit on them.

The Nie have a natural hot spring that they have turned into their main public bath. The massive cavern houses a number of varying-sized pools, some of which interconnect and others of which are freestanding. The free standing pools are typically treated with different soaks to give the water various medicinal properties (most often for things like muscle aches or minor injuries, but also for skincare and such.) I imagine the Nie recipe for bath-bean would include animal fat and pancreas, making it very rich and cleansing.

Part of me wants to say the Jiang would just bathe in the lake but that seems cheap to me, so instead: Through a combination of well-placed pipes and clever array work, the Jiang bath house feels like a mini indoor rainstorm, with water falling in thousands of warm droplets from the ceiling above to fill the pools, which are more shallow that a typical bath would be. There are built-in overhangs you can sit under to get out of the "rain" while still being in the water. If requested the rain can be "turned up" and the lights dimmed, and cymbals crash so you feel like you're really standing out in a raging thunderstorm, which some people find incredibly soothing and others find terrifying. I can't think of anything unique for the bath bean other than lotus flowers but I do think, given the proximity to the river, that mud wraps would be a common treatment offered.

The Lan... probably have the worst public baths, actually. They may not even actually have a public bath at all. If they do have one, it's not meant to be a place of luxury or entertainment, although of course it would be tastefully decorated and comfortable. Rather they'd find some way to make public bathing less about socializing and more about silently meditating while pretending you aren't surrounded by other naked people. I guess the cold springs kind of sort of count as a public bath but not really. Bath bean smells distinctly medicinal, but obviously whatever is in it works, because the Lan all look Like That.

The public bath in Qishan stopped being a popular attraction when Wen Ruohan stopped having visitors, but for years their bath was one hell of a marvel. Massive, bronze statues of phoenixes would be heated until glowing-hot and then lowered into the stone tub, filling the air with thick steam. Patrons would sit around the room on their benches, sweating it out until the statues had cooled enough for the water to be safe to enter. If you wanted a cold bath, the adjoining room was also home to a massive bronze statue, this one of a dragon that sat in the center of the tub and poured cool water out of it's mouth. Bath bean was made with plant ash rather than rice or soybean powder, and the water was all treated with volcanic ash.

And, because I am Me, the Wei sect: I'm imagining a dark hall deep in the cave systems, the floor lined with man made in-ground pools of varying sizes not entirely unlike the Nie baths, however these pools aren't connected to an outside water source or each other. There are illusion arrays carved into the walls that send out glowing, ghostly shapes of fish and otters and other river creatures swimming through the air. The pools are filled through overhead pipes that pour water, oils, and herbal mixtures into the pool, and each pool has access to it's own set of labeled levers, so a person or group of people can customize their bath while they're having it, adding more cool water, hot water, or various add-ins. The bath bean is more of a paste due to the addition of a ton of collagen. (They get it from the kitchen's bone broth. The bones are not human, but that doesn't stop visiting disciples from scaring each other about it. Don't piss off the Yiling Louzu or you'll end up in the soap.)

“Thank you, Namjoon. You are right. I don’t think I would be too comfortable staying with you all so quickly.” You were shy admitting that, the boys could tell. It had Yoongi scooting down further in his seat. Jin practically pouting at the thought of you not wanting to stay with them, but he knew you needed time.

By the time it was time to hang up, Emilia had come back over and told you that you were going to be leaving in a couple of minutes.

“Well, I have to get going. I should be in Korea within an hour maybe? I’m not too sure.” You tell them, truly thankful for them, and glad they didn’t mention your hip again.

“Okay. Well please let us know when you touch down and when you get to the hotel.” With that, you say your goodbyes and you buckle back up into your seat.

You love women. That’s it.

Emilia was absolutely the sweetest person you had every met. Once the plan took off and left the Tokyo airport, she came and sat by you and asked you in the politest way what had happened and if there was anything she could do in her own capacity to help you. She brought you a heating pad that she found in the medical bag on the plane and helped you rest your leg on the seat in front of you.

She spent the rest of the hour-long trip talking and laughing with you. You found out she heard your phone call with Namjoon but didn’t hear any specifics, just understood that you found your soulmates and that you were on the way to meet them.

“They must be super rich if they are flying you all by your lonesome to meet them.” You could only nod at her, laughing a little bit at just how right she was.

By the time you got to the airport in Seoul, you felt that you made a friend, even if you knew it would probably be the last time you saw them.

You sent the boys a text in the group chat that you had arrived and would be making your way to customs. However, you didn’t expect for someone from Bighit to be waiting for you when you got off your plane with a wheelchair. The wheelchair had your name printed in script on a sign and the man holding the wheelchair seemed like a huge body builder. Scared you a little bit and had you pausing with your cane.

You hadn’t even grabbed your suitcases yet, waiting for them to be unlocked from the compartment they were in within the plane.

“Are you Miss Y/n?” The man had pushed the wheelchair over to you, his words soft, completely the opposite of his physical appearance.

“Yes I am, uh..” You trail off, not at all knowing who the man was but you saw his HYBE lanyard and badge.

“I am Songun, Miss. I am here to take you to your hotel. I was also told by Mr. Kim to tell you that you do not need to go through customs due to your special passport.” You blink slowly at him, in your own head trying to figure out why you don’t need to go to customs.

“Oh, okay.” You go to move forward when you hear someone moving behind you. Turning around you see one of the attendants with your luggage.

“Thank you.” You smile at the man before grabbing the handles. It was a little difficult since you needed your cane but you made it work. Until Songun came over.

“Please Miss, I insist.” He gestures to the wheelchair that now has no sign on it. He helps you into the chair while talking in Korean to a man that was behind him.

“Lee, grab her things. We need to be quick.” The man nodded before grabbing your luggage, walking behind us as Songun began to push you towards the exit. It was still light out as it neared three in the afternoon. And you were hungry. And needed a good soak in the bath.

“Alright Miss. The hotel is only about a twenty minute drive and I will help you check in.” You nod at Songun as you maneuver yourself into the back of the vehicle. It was really spacious and you almost fell asleep at the feeling of the comfy backrest.

Songun and the other man get into the front seats, leaving you along and looking out the window at the scenery.

Seoul was different than anything you could have imagined. The closest you could think of would be a busy Sacramento at night on a Friday. But this was way more. It was peaceful in the way that you knew no one would think to look at you as you walked by. Everyone at home would stare as you walked with your cane.

It was busy in the way you could see hordes of people in every direction. The deeper you got into Seoul the more entranced you got.

“That is the HYBE building Miss.” Songun pointed out as you drove past, your eyes trailing to the large building. You knew the boys were in there at the moment, the tingling in your chest and the burning feeling in your mark telling you they were near. It had you pushing down the feeling to run to them, to just complete the bond with them before they could change their mind.

That’s what you think you were most afraid of. That they would change their mind about wanting you.

You only had to wait five more minutes before the vehicle pulled into an underground entrance. The parking garage for the hotel seemed to be a private one, Songun pulling out some papers to be allowed in.

Once you were allowed in and parked, Songun insisted you get back into the wheelchair. You tried to tell him that you were fine using your cane but it wasn’t working.

“I’m sorry Miss. Mr. Kim insists you use the wheelchair until you are at least within your room.” You wonder if this was the same Mr. Kim who he spoke of before. If he was talking about who you were thinking of, then there were at least three “Mr. Kims” he could be mentioning.

Too tired to argue or complain, you comply and get into the wheelchair, the same man moving to grab your bags from the trunk of the car.

The hotel was simply the nicest thing you had ever seen. It had a huge gold chandelier in the middle of the room and chairs you knew were too expensive to sit in just beneath. The entire room screamed “rich” to you and made you feel like you should be staying somewhere else.

“Uhm, Songun? Are you sure this is the correct hotel?” You turn your head to the Bighit employee, obvious apprehension written all over your face making the man smile.

“Yes, Miss.” You just nodded your head, thinking the man was probably sick of your questions by now.

You sat as he rolled you up to the front counter where the receptionist smiled brightly, as if waiting for your arrival. She looked from Songun to you, glancing behind you to the man who you still didn’t know his name before looking back to you.

“Welcome! Can I have the name for the reservation?” She looked at you, thankfully speaking English as she moved to start typing on her computer.

“Uhm… I’m not sure what the name would be under.” You tell her before looking up at Songun. He tells the woman Jin’s name, causing the woman’s eyes to widen and her mouth to open for a couple of seconds before she switches, her mask coming back on and her fingers typing wildly at the keyboard in front of her.

“Alright, Mrs. Kim. Here are your key cards, along with a pin for access to the amenities within the room. Breakfast is at eight o’clock. Please enjoy your stay.” She gestures for someone behind you, making you turn around, packet in hand, to see a bellhop like you’ve only ever seen in a show when you were a kid, with the luggage cart and everything.

However, the bellhop moves away when the man holding your luggage walks past him, Songun shaking his head, refusing the service and moving you towards the elevator.

“Miss, please move one of the cards in front of that there.” Songun motions to a pad like thing on the wall in place of a button. You cautiously remove one of the key cards from the packet and swipe it in front of the pad, watching as the elevator instantly opens.

“Wow.” You mutter, unable to hold back your amazement.

Once Songun wheels you in and the man holding your luggage comes into the elevator, the doors close. You see the buttons on the wall and holding your key card in front of you to see your room number, you press the number that corresponds to the floor you were assigned. You were pretty high, you thought, as the elevator took its time to move to the 7th floor. You smiled, wondering if the floor number was a coincidence.

Once the doors opened, Songun once again pushed you out and to the right, moving down the floor until you came to a room on the left side of the hallway. Not needing the hint, you moved the card in front of the familiar pad on the wall on the side of your door. When the door opened, Songun spoke up.

“Okay Miss. Mr. Kim’s instructions were to stay out of your room for your privacy unless you tell us otherwise. Would you like any help getting inside?” You think about it, silently thanking the boys for their detailed thoughts.

S“No thank you, Mr. Songun. I think I’ve got everything from here.” You move to lock the wheelchair so you could get out.

Holding onto the handlebars, you slowly move up and out of the wheelchair, not noticing Songun’s hands up and near your back, there to help you if needed. You turn around and test your weight on your left hip, only feeling a little pain. You deem this good enough and move to put your cane on your arm again. Adjusting your duffle on your shoulder, you grab your luggage from the man and thank him.

“Here is my number. I have been assigned to you while you are here. Please let me know if you wish to leave the hotel.” Songun hands you a card that includes his business title and number. You nod at him again, before thanking them for the help.

Closing the door behind you, you slowly figure out how to make your way to the bed where you place your luggage on the edge before sitting down. You were beyond tired and even the room couldn’t bring you to widen your eyes in amazement.

The bed was bigger than anything you had ever seen and the room was the same. On the wall opposite the bed was a large dresser and entertainment center, a very large television attached to the wall above it. There was an opening to the left of the dresser which seemed like a hallway. From the bed you could only make out a large tub? That seemed to poke out from the right of the end of the hallway.

To the left of you and just past the entryway that seemed to house a small shoe closet, there was a large cabinet that was floor to ceiling, making you wonder if it was clothes closet. To your immediate left and right were nightstands. On your right was a sitting area with a small couch and a very comfy looking recliner chair. A coffee table was in the middle of a circular rug, marking the sitting area, and was aimed at the television.

Past that, was the large glass, sliding doors that opened up to a small balcony, accompanied by a small table and chair set.

“I’ll explore everything tomorrow.” You spoke aloud, now alone to your thoughts.

Now that you were here, in South Korea, about to meet your soulmates, everything seemed to hit you at once. You could feel the tears begin to fall from your waterline as you laid back onto the bed.

Ten years.

You waited ten years for your soulmates.

Never did you imagine even a similar scenario for where you were now. You never dreamed that this could happen. Yeah, like most people, you dreamed for your soulmate to sweep you off your feet, or to be someone famous who could take care of you. But this, this was that times a hundred.

Would they even be able to support you on your bad days?

Would you be able to support them?

A sob breaks through your lips as the thought comes to you. You could barely support yourself and your needs most days, how in the world were you going to be able to support and help seven world famous men.

At this point, your thoughts were spiraling deeper, making you think this was just a huge mistake. That you would never be able to fit into an already established soulgroup and be able to love and support the boys.

Your phone had been ringing for a couple minutes now. You were unable to hear it through your sobbing and had missed two calls from Namjoon now. Once you were able to calm down enough, physically not mentally, you could barely hear the generic ringtone you had set.

“Hello?” You managed not to sniffle as you spoke.

“Hey, baby. We were just worried a little. We wanted to know if you made it safely to the hotel room?” Namjoon’s dulcet tone soothed what little worries you had floating in your head. It was as if they didn’t exist. You don’t know how he did it, but you were able to relax into the bed now, feeling how comfortable it was on your aching back and hips.

“Oh, I’m sorry.” You wiped the stray tear from your cheek and sat up a little, groaning at the stretch to your hip. “I was in the bathroom.” Your excuse was light, the boys catching it quickly, but no one said anything.

“That’s okay. As long as you made it.” Taehyung’s husky tone made you want to groan again, for a different reason entirely.

“I made it.” You say back.

“Well, we are all sure that you want to rest so we will let you go.” Namjoon speaks up but Jungkook’s voice is heard at the end.

“Wait! Are we going to be able to see her tomorrow?” You squint your eyes, trying to figure out why he said to wait.

“Err, Jungkook wants to know what your plans are for tomorrow?” Namjoon changes Jungkook’s question a little, not wanting to pressure you.

“Uhm..” You hadn’t thought that far ahead. You knew they probably were hoping you would want to go and meet them, feel the soul touch and complete the bond. But your fear of the unknown had you wanting to step back, to stay trapped in the hotel room and fly back home after the week was over.

“I don’t want to bother anyone…” You begin to say, unable to form the sentence you want to say.

“You won’t ever bother us.” Yoongi’s tone is blunt as he cuts you off, reminding you of the first video call.

“We are not busy tomorrow.” Jin’s voice tags onto Yoongi’s, making you wonder if he could read minds.

You are reminded of the all-access pass the boys sent you for the HYBE building. You remember Songun pointing it out for you on the way to the hotel. Maybe you could walk there in the morning? Do some sightseeing and grab some coffee? You hope the minimal Korean you tried to learn on the plan was sufficient enough to get you by.

You were kind of at a standstill, Namjoon realized. You didn’t feel comfortable enough to ask them if you could visit them tomorrow, and none of the boys wanted to make you feel pressured to see them so early.

“If it’s okay with you, maybe I could visit in the morning? I’m not sure what time I’ll wake up but I plan on going to bed soon.” Your voice was entirely unsure, and you weren’t confident in your words, something the boys noticed and had their heartstrings tugging.

“That sounds perfect, baby.” Namjoon’s dulcet tones once again managed to calm your racing heart. Anything you let them have, anything you were willing to give, they would happily take. They were just happy you were giving them a chance, anything else was a miracle.

“Okay.” You whisper back, still not sure what to say to them.

“We will let you rest, okay. We—” Namjoon paused, seemingly catching those three little words on his tongue.

“Thank you for coming.” Yoongi interjected, seeing his younger mate stumble on the sentence they all wanted to say.

“Goodnight.” Your smile was small as they said goodbye.

Putting down your phone and plugging it into your charger, you finally notice the small basket on the side table by the door. You walk over to it, moving slowly so you don’t bug your hip any more than you already did. A small smile grows on your lips as you see a couple of Korean snacks and candy along with a bottle of red wine and a bank card?

You grab the note in the basket to see that it was written by one of the boys, probably Namjoon.

They each had signed their name to the bottom, giving you the wistful feeling that rose up your back. Their words and actions made you feel cared for and had you slipping the bank card into one of the slots in your wallet, not entirely sure if you would use it or not. You moved back to the bed, sitting down on it and feeling the way your muscles relaxed into the bed.

You didn’t realize how much hearing their voices had calmed you down, had made you feel relaxed. Relaxed enough to fall asleep with your shoes on and your feet hanging off the big bed.

Different anon. I think I'm so disappointed everytime this happens because I don't remember them being such fail friends before. Yeah their 19 year old selves had jerk-like tendencies but I feel like they all got better and matured with time. Maybe I was wrong about that? But this seems like a recent phenomenon, like their gigantic fame has brought out their worst tendencies again. Even Hobi and Jin....Hobi and Jin seem like decent friends at least but there's still things they say especially Jin that make them seem totally disconnected because of their privilege.

Perhaps it's not surprising that making a bunch of men in their twenties the literal face of their nation has resulted in this. Becoming super rich through your own merits and becoming some of the most desired men in the world has to be a heady feeling. Maybe I too would be insufferable if that happened to me. Perhaps the most shocking thing here is not that the others have developed a giant ego but that Jimin has somehow (apparently?) managed to stay relatively grounded.

It’s probably due to them constantly being in the group setting, but since they’ve been on their own, their individual pitfalls have become a lot more apparent. I bought into the family narrative but that’s because they genuinely came off that way when I first stanned. It was a big reason for me deciding to do so too.

Concerning TGK though, those traits have always been there but yea in recent times they’ve certainly been exacerbated. Yoongi has always had an ego which has definitely grown parallel to how bts has. For TH, I’d say with his 2020-2021 popularity boom his head got big. And with JK, last year was definitely his turning point in his since he’s finally gotten the opportunity to roam free. (Plus bang and scooter whispering grand praises in his ear)

I think they’re the only 3 that really suffer from it. The others don’t have egos imo. But I agree with jimin remaining grounded. He hasn’t changed much at his core from when I started stanning. He’s just gotten more mature, experienced and self assured.

My thoughts on the latest episode of BUCCHIGIRI?! Episode 9 aka the one episode that had me mentally broken

WARNING: *May contain spoilers esp in regards to Senya and Ichiya and the starting of the corruption arc of Matakara*

- Continuing the ending scene of Episode 8, it seems like everything was Akutaro’s and Ichiya’s plan was to go smoothly but SIKE! It was ICHIYA’S plan all along! Akutaro was just a pawn!

- Akutaro doesn’t seem too pleased about it and wants to merge back with Ichiya with the latter telling him straight up how he was nothing but a tool straight up made him mad.

- In class, Mahoro as always is looking at photos of her brother and holy moly! THE JIN’S HAVE A DOG?! I DIDN’T KNOW THEY WERE FRICKIN RICH!

- Anyways, Arajin being the simp that he is tries to give her the soapstone but she ignores him.

- However, Arajin just so happens to overhear Komao and Zabu being worried for Matakara and how he’s been gone for three days! WHAT?!

- This has got me super worried AF.

- Arajin doesn’t seem too concerned about it but something tells me that deep down he feels…worried for some reason.

- Back in the Tomoshibi family restaurant, Arajin is helping out as always and Senya can’t help but notice Arajin’s worry so much to the point that he slapped him on the back pretty hard to cheer him up which he doesn’t seem to accept.

- Back with Zabu and Komao, they asked the receptionist about Matakara’s whereabouts again only this time he’s back. Excited about the news, both Zabu and Komao bought him something to eat but they heard a crashing sound.

- They open up to see Matakara opening up his piggy bank and taking up whatever remaining money that he has all the while ignoring Zabu and Komao. Man. That hurts.

- Meanwhile, Arajin is heading to the bathhouse due to the showers in his home being broken down, but then he bumped into Matakara but unlike the usual, Mata’s whole cheerful demeanour is gone, most likely from what happened last episode and just left without saying a word.

- The customer and cat cafè waiter returned again. This time, when the customer asked for Pu’er again, the waiter begged him to take Jasmine again because of how she’s been waiting for the customer which causes the customer to change and asked for Jasmine. What this means is probably gonna be foreshadowing of the next episode or the current predicament that’s happening.

- At the bathhouse, Arajin was trying to enjoy a peaceful bath time when he ran into Komao and Zabu with the former being all cheerful, calling him Ara-pyon and offering to wash his back despite seeing him act like an uncaring asshole last episode (what a sweetheart).

- Arajin and Zabu asked each other about Matakara’s wellbeing before Komao jumped into the bathtub cannonball style.

- There’s something oddly cathartic seeing the NG Boys and Girls discussing about Akutaro’s downfall (I mean he did abuse them after all) and Akutaro can’t help but watch all of this happen and ran off embarrassed by his downfall.

- Tho that being said, Akutaro does have a plan in which he discovered a slip of paper that says Honki on the front but what it says is pretty unknown.

- Any scene with Matakara and Ichiya is just so heartwrenching because unlike Arajin and Senya’s relationship, Ichiya is trying to break Mata down mentally.

- Oh and it turns out that the dark shadow thing isn’t Ichiya’s but something hiding within Matakara all along.

- Also, we got some backstory regarding how Matakara joined Minato Kai, in which he just beat up a bunch of random thugs because of honoring his brother and Arajin, he and Ken went up against each other to pass the trial to become a member of Minato Kai.

- Also, just saying but the first year design of Zabu and Komao are just so adorable. Oh and I guess my headcanon of the first meeting between these three got debunked but it technically became true when it’s revealed that all three joined Minato Kai at the same time.

- To Mahoro, Marito and Outa (the latter two who are absent since last ep): Mahoro is playing some sort of imaginary tea party with a dolly of Marito lol but the moment real Marito and Outa came in she quickly hid under the covers.

- From there, both Marito and Outa began to discuss about Mitsukuni’s hospitalization and also revealed that not even Kenichiro can beat him. When Marito asked why is Outa is concerned about Mitsukuni and even brought up the topic about it, Outa then revealed that Matakara is going through a hard time right now and that he is the kid brother of Mitsukuni.

- Both Marito and Mahoro who overheard about it expressed shock at the relation. And my reaction to all this is: “Wait none of you siblings knew about it?” (Moreso from Mahoro because Matakara told her about it back in Episode 4)

- Marito heard something and began to search in his room for the noise which Outa began to question what is he doing before they continue their discussion.

- Mahoro oddly began to display worry and concern for Matakara, despite those two never interacting by a whole lot. But it is a nice gesture nonetheless.

- The next day, Arajin and Mahoro have a talk on the rooftop, to which the latter asked about the condition of Matakara’s wellbeing. Arajin was hesitant to ask and even begin to worry about how she is showing interest in Mata (which is not true at all) to which Mahoro is disgusted by and just left him.

- Also, it’s interesting to note how Mahoro said that it happened to her once (regarding the things Matakara is going through) but what this mean is quite peculiar.

- While walking back, Senya tried to cheer Arajin up with a massive slap to the back but Arajin dodged it this time. At least until they are approached by a disheveled Akutaro who slipped a paper right into Arajin’s jacket pocket before going off.

- Ichiya breaking down Matakara and manipulating him to fight Arajin. My poor sunshine puppy. 😭

- Arajin and Senya are walking to the bathhouse again but this time we are given expository on Senya and Ichiya.

- Both Senya and Ichiya are street kids (possibly back when they were mortals) who live in an unknown part of the desert long time ago. Senya (who wasn’t given a name back then) admired Ichiya’s fighting style and begged to fight him. Ichiya was disinterested in Senya at first but he doesn’t seem to say no either.

- Over the years, both Senya and Ichiya’s friendly rivalry grew and grew so much so that when they were hanging out, Ichiya was the one who named Senya as he is today.

- But all of a sudden, their relationship turned sour at some point with black shadows covering Ichiya. What happened is unknown but it’s seem odd for some reason.

- When Arajin asked why Senya relied the backstory to him, the genie said that both Arajin and Matakara’s goal of being Honki People is a lot similar to his and Ichiya’s goal.

- Matakara appears in front of Arajin, clearly looking distraught and not long before he starts attacking Arajin.

- Arajin had no idea what has happened and Senya told him to merge with him to which Arajin managed to thankfully stop Matakara’s kicks but Matakara overpowered Arajin and just as he was about to land a finishing blow, Arajin’s gut began to growl which hit him to run to the nearest bathroom

- Also in all seriousness, can’t they dropped the toilet humor?

- Ichiya appeared and is convinced that the reason Matakara held back was because of his kind heart.

- Back in the Tomoshibi residence, Ara patched himself up from what has happened and Senya looked down and muttered about how Ichiya now has a hold on Matakara now. Angered by all this, Arajin began to ask how did he know about it before Senya disappeared.

- Just as Arajin is lying down, he saw the slip of paper that Akutaro slipped in meet him in the dead of the night.

- Akutaro then revealed that the reason why Senya is being secretive is because apparently Senya is planning to take over Arajin!

- Back with Ichiya and Matakara, Ichiya talked about Mitsukuni and feed lies on why the latter is weak before Matakara began to go apeshit and destroyed the dark shadow. Oh and Matakara has a mark behind his back not unlike the one Arajin has behind his ass.

- And with that, the final scene now has Ichiya in full possession with Matakara all the while saying that he is lacking anger and hatred in his heart. Matakara’s eyes lacked shine and now resembles Ichiya’s.

Jin's Holiday Event Story!

Disclaimer: This is one super cute but also spicy so please, minors, do not interact.

It was a cold Christmas morning where the roses were dusted with snow, Jin and I were inside our warm room, decorating the fir tree he’d gifted me the previous Christmas.

It had been sitting in the corner of the room ever since, but its rich green leaves were thriving as proof of being well taken care of.

Emma: “The tree’s gotten so much bigger since you gifted it to me.”

Jin: “Yeah. I’m glad to be able to watch its growth together with you again this year.”

Emma: “Every day spent with you, Jin, feels like a fleeting moment of happiness.”

Emma: “When I see the growth of this tree, I truly realize that time is passing.”

While expressing these felling that well up in my heart, I continue to decorate the tree with ornaments

Jin, then, picked up a rose he had prepared for the decoration.

I thought he would hang it on the fir tree, but to my surprise, the rose ends up nestled in my hair bun.

Emma: “W-What are you doing, Jin?!”

Startled, I raised my voice as Jin, who had picked up a ribbon intended for decoration, begins to wrap it around my arm.

Jin: “Ah, don’t worry. I’m just decorating the most beautiful tree in the continent in my own way.”

Emma: “…I don’t even know where to begin with this, I can’t concentrate like this.”

Jin: “But you know, a properly decorated tree is essential for a Christmas party, right?”

Jin: “If we leave it like this, the party will never start.”

(Well, It IS true that this won't end if we keep it like this. I'll just continue working without paying him any attention.)

Reluctantly giving in, I resume my work. But Jin’s mischief knows no bounds….

He places a snowflake decoration on top of my head and casually hooks and ornament string to my fingertips.

Emma: “Come on, Jin!”

Even while protesting, I couldn’t help but find it funny, and my face completely relaxed.

Turning around to face Jin, who had been up to mischief behind me, I noticed a joyful smile on his lips.

Jin: “Alright, alright. Let’s finish the decorations before it gets dark.”

Finally, Jin removes the from my head and unties the ribbon from my hair.

(Phew, finally the decoration might progress smooth—Huh?!)

Just as I felt his rough fingers gently caress my neck,

He effortlessly unbuttoned my blouse and was about to invade the collar area, when suddenly…

Emma: “W-wait a second. This is…”

Jin: “I’m just doing as you wished, taking everything off.”

Emma: “That’s not decoration though!”

Jin ignores my words completely, reaching his fingers to my breast and repeatedly flicks the sensitive tip.

Emma: “Ah, Jin…!”

As I writhe from the rhythmic pleasure, he seals my lips with a kiss.

Our tongues, hot and moist, entwine with each other.

Jin: "You know, your a beautiful woman even without any decorations."

My legs began to tremble and become moist, when Jin gently picked me up and carried me to the bed.

We intertwined, changing angles, and exchanged countless kisses--

Jin: "And just like a tree, it's a waste to only admire it once a year."

Jin: “I want to love you every day and every night, Emma.”

As Jin whispered sweetly in my ear and teased my earlobe,

Contrary to the snowscape outside the window, my body and heart are melting warmly with Jin’s love.

I have to agree. I will argue that cwac is well written but it's essentially just different characters with a bnha coat of paint, it was written so many years ago where it could've technically been a direction taken but canon has deviated so far from it no longer resembles anything close to it. The problem begins when some take it as a canon interpretation when it was not leading to infighting and misreading of canon events and character, although this is no fault of the author who I believe is still very talented.

When I first got into the fandom circa 2018, right before Hawks debuted, I was super obsessed with Deku and so CWAC was up my alley. But the moment I started paying attention to the villains, somehow it clearly dawned on me how not only OOC the story was but just how much the author clearly dislikes characters like Shigaraki or Dabi and how much it shows, fairly juvenile-y.

I won't argue that the author isn't talented, but over the years a friend who was also a very Big Writer at the time of CWAC's popularity 2018-ish has told me how discussions about the League went very badly.

The issue still is the fandom. I absolutely blame DFO on CWAC and the other work of the author that the name escapes me. Even now, when I look at DFO dynamics or the weird afo inko obsession they absolutely clearly have elements from the fic, so essentially what CWAC did was establish such a clear fanon that even non-fic readers have taken it as part of the theory.

I mean, again this is more the issue of the fandom in general just clinging on to very old perceptions of characters and plots. I'm going to rant about that below.

I'll use Tomura as an example because what made me dislike CWAC was the handling of him when I started to realize just how rich Horikoshi made Tomura 's character. Some shig-haters never get passed Kamino in what they think of him, and there are the LOV stans who haven't caught up with the idea that actually the MLA arc was *bad* for the League and are still in the viewpoint that the villains are revolutionaries. So there's these spaces where Shigaraki is just seen as a murderous incel versus Shigaraki is Che Guevara incarnate.

And these echo chambers are so removed from each other that very often little nuance penetrates, so you have incredibly established fanon truths that are rarely deviated from and people just stop examining the source material. Then conflict arises when you leave the echo chamber and talk to someone else.

Also worth mentioning is that the fandom echo chambers manage to function as they do by assigning moral values to any "thought crimes" that don't line up with accepted fanon-"canon". Don't think the League are super-radicals who will actually liberate society and create a Marxist utopia? Well you're a capitalist pig who supports cops, bye. You can see it with the very hardcore hero stans who think liking a villain means condoning murder too, "why do you like terrorists?" Or come into my inbox to tell me Jin's murder was justified. Fandom is very good at policing itself into cliques, to the detriment of everyone, I think.

It also, I think, created the situation where people in this fandom genuinely hate the work, keep reading it in bad faith due to those ingrained fanon expectations and preconceptions of what the work should be, and then get more and more resentful as time goes on and their views are not even acknowledged.

Seriously, just look back at the reaction of hero stan Twitter and reddit bros at Himiko's whole fight with Ochako. There was so much hatred of how Himiko was being redeemed.

There are still canon DFO fans. I feel sorry for those who had to look at this chapter and realize that what they've sunk so much time into was not real. Disappointment hurts, man.

Anyway, thanks for listening to me rant. I find it fascinating in an academic sense how so much of fandom was shaped by a fic and I wonder if at some point someone will examine it critically.

Yuji would be an athlete. That child is strong and resilient as fuck. He’d get all the medals and endorsements deals. Nike and Adidas would fight to get him. He’d get along with Naomi Osaka and her baby would also love him.

Kenjaku would have an OF and be so successful that they’d quit their other job. I’d subscribe to it. You saw the photo of Rubi Rose with the man who spent 60k on her just last month? That would be me.

Yuki would work in STEM. Something super complex but aiming to make the world a better place. She’d sometimes use questionable methods but success would ensue. She’s THAT girl.

I AM HOME AGAIN. Ok so part two of trickstar dynamics: anzu edition. I already kinda made one but it was more about anzu's past sooo it doesn't count.

Anzu and subaru: THE BESTIEEESSS I LOVE THEM SO MUCH THEY ARE SO CUTE. When trickstar was still a very new unit subaru was like "man i wish we had our own uniforms. Wouldn't that be cool" (because at yumenosaki academy having your own uniforms instead of the standard ones provided by the academy meant that 1. you're hot shit aka important and popular enough to have a specific image and 2. you're hot shit enough aka rich enough to be able to afford your own costume). And then anzu is just like "My boy? Wants something?? My bestie? Wishes for uniforms??" And then she SINGLEHANDEDLY learns sewing from kuro in like a week and makes the trickstar uniforms. And subaru could cry from joy.

And much later subaru got some job where he has to wear a suit but he's never worn suits so he asks super model sena for help, and sena is like "well what kind of suit do you wanna wear" and after a long time of thinking, the only thing he came up with was a suit made specifically by anzu for him. That's all he wanted agshetekwhdghr. But anzu was pretty busy so he settled for a suit that was approved by her.

And when they ended up in the industry anzu made him the super sparkly outfit and i KNOW everyone hates that card because of the missions BUT that card has a special place in my heart because even after their early high school days, even after subaru won the ss and trickstar became super popular and anzu became a very important producer in ES (going as far as being a part of P. Association), subaru still adores and appreciates outfits made by her specifically asdffkslagdkfjw.

Also Pretty sure that anzu was one of the few characters where subaru dropped his happy-ultra-cheerful persona to open up to her, being all like "You know anzu, sometimes i feel like half of my emotions are straight up missing". Ouch. He doesn't do that often! If at all!! He trusts her enough to do that!!!!

There's more to say but there's already another post that goes into more details about this (i will reblog it after this but how on earth can you link someone else's post on here)

Anzu and mao: you may have seen or noticed how mao is always like "omg no don't touch anzu that's sexual harrassment" to completely normal affection between friends and thought to yourself "The hell is wrong with this dude". And like, i can only speculate why he's like this but it's probably due to anzu's first experiences at yumenosaki. Poor girl got transferred into a school of boys committing crimes against each other, got kicked in the face (with koga's full body weight), fainted, got a concussion, went to the infirmary, got sexually harrassed by one of the teachers (seriuosly what the hell jin), then got followed around and pressured by a playboy (past kaoru was uhhh...something). Rei ended up finding her and just...hiding her in a cupboard. And later on rei finds mao and is like "hey you. I hid your girl in the cupboards" and mao's bewildered at this statement. And rei continues with "yeah you should probs go pick her up or something". Mao then goes and to his surprise, he actually finds her in the cupboards, terrified and exhausted.This is the context to this very lovely mao illustration:

Mao ends up always walking her home after this by the way, to the point where he sometimes eats lunch with her family. (Sometimes the other trickstar memebrs walk her too but most often it's Mao) So yeah, that could be the reason why he's so sensitive anytime someone gets close to anzu. He's just really overprotective of her.

(I will entirely ignore all the more fanservicey stuff that occasionally happens between anzu and mao in the early stories because...it just...feels so ooc for mao. And completely unnecessary in general) however anzu is also very fond of mao, as we see in !-era ss, where anzu notices that mao is beating himself up for not being enough for trickstar and so she goes to his room to specifically cheer him up and reassure him when he wakes up

Anzu and hokuto: ooohhh my gooood, the scene where he goes to visit anzu in the infirmary after she got hurt and fainted and he. He just. He just feels so bad for her getting hurt and then starts this whole ass monologue about why he dragged her into this. This huge monologue where he just lets out all his anger at yumenosaki's state and hopes and dreams for the future and how she gave him hope but he burdened and expected too much of her right at the beginning. AND SHE WAS AWAKE THE WHOLE TIME WITHOUT HIM KNOWING. And his speech just motivates her to actually ally herself with trickstar because she wants things to change for the better too.

And then waaay later she faints again from exhausting herself too much and hokuto notices how much she has been doing, not just for trickstar but as a producer in general. And so to lighten her burdens and to prove to her that they have grown as a unit and do not need to rely on her the whole time, he revokes his rights to participate in the SS. Listen to me. I want you to understand that as a unit, trickstar established itself to prove that change is possible. The entire main storyline in ! is about them beating eichi's ass in DDD. And DDD is such a huge deal because it determines which unit is allowed to participate in SS as a representative. And SS is a huuuuge national tournament for idols sorta thing. So when hokuto goes to eichi being all like "hey mr. president, i revoke my rights to participate in the SS", eichi (who has been supporting trickstar ever since they beat him in DDD because SS is far more important than DDD) straight up grabs hokuto and screams at him something along the lines of "HOKUTO ARE YOU /SRS OR /J???? YOUR GIRL FAINTS ONCE AND THIS IS HOW YOU BEHAVE???!!! SHE'S NOT WITH YOU FOR ONE TIME AND YOU STEP DOWN, YOU FREAKING COWARD?? DO YOU HAVE ANY IDEA HOW IMPORTANT OF AN EVENT SS IS". And hokuto, still very straight faced and expressionless, simply states "oh i'm not stepping down. I want trickstar to fight more live battles to rewin our rights to represent yumenosaki in SS. Both to prove to everyone that trickstar really is suited for this, and to prove for anzu that she doesn't need to always worry about us anymore." Do you have any idea how much i wanted to howl at the moon after reading that.

By the way this is also the context for this one wataru illustration who was also in the council room at the time:

Anzu and Makoto: this is actually a lot more of a relaxed and chill dynamic than i expected. Most of their early interactions are just makoto being "oh my god i'm so afraid of girls i have never talked to a girl in my entire life what even are girls" and then anzu would be like "but i am one?" and makoto's just "HOLY SHIT YOU'RE RIGHT". Anyways after makoto builds a little self esteem it looks like him and anzu just start sharing a braincell sometimes. Like that one moment in finder girl event story where mao is super worried that no one will help him, and the makoto anzu duo don't even talk to each other, they just exchange looks and think to themselves "this guy has no idea that everyone in yumenosaki would help him huh". Fun times.

You're handsome af, you were recruited relatively old compared to other trainees so you'd developed a sense of self by then and were probably not completely warped by kpop mentality. Your image is the funny guy so you can say whatever the hell you want to any member and their fans somehow never get seriously angry at you. Nobody seriously ships you. Not a lot of people try to mess with you since Mary will end up kicking their ass but it doesn’t stop people specifically outside of school but Mary ends up humiliating them.

You like hugging Mira in the front but just hide your face against her neck if you are feeling down.

She would also defend you from people who bully you.

She would also quietly talk to you since your voice can quiet can be sometimes.

If someone bullies, Mira would defend them but the bullies would only get away since Zack was behind you glaring at them.
