Because I could not stop for Death—
He kindly stopped for me—
The Carriage held but just Ourselves—
And Immortality.

thinking about how nice it would be if yana did side stories for each reaper that showed their past as humans along with what pushed them to end their lives and inevitably becoming grim reapers

Could I please have a Platonic!Yandere William T Spears with a timid sibling who just became a reaper? I wonder if he'd shed some tears 'cause of this or naw lol- ( Btw love your work!! Hope you have a nice day and take care! :D )
After the decades since his beginnings as a reaper its a pity he sees you come to the same fate as him but nevertheless it won't cause him to make a scene of some sort
The only uncharacteristic reaction the other reapers who watch william closely get to see is how he stops in his tracks for a solid five seconds, which is multiple seconds longer than usual mind you so those like grell definitely ended up shocked
While he may be stoic when interacting with you as if there was no relationship than strictly business between you two, due to wanting to keep you stationed with him he won't give upper authorities any reason to remove you from him. William does tend to be softer on you, not enough for those around to notice but a good amount to guide your through this new life and for you to see he did truly miss his little sibling

William: Have you seen a person named 'Grell' around here?
Ciel: Ugh, yes. They made a horrible mess of the blood fountain.
Ronald: It looks fine to me?
Ciel: IT USED TO BE WATER!

This is a song for a game called Death and Taxes where you play as a grim reaper choosing who lives and dies. However, this song goes SO WELL with the context of the Reapers from Black Butler. It’s almost scarily accurate to how they’re portrayed
