kyle is scared of birds. he went down that birds are spies rabbit hole one year and never recovered. my poor little lad :(

as embarrassing as it is, ghost can’t couldn’t whistle. after a good hour of the group laughing at him for it he spent a good week learning to whistle. and when he did? he did it better than anyone. cue the North Sea shanties at the ass crack of the morning to scare and spite johnny.

johnny is a doodler. he likes to draw assortments of stars and fishes and whatnot on the hands of the rest of the 141. when he and price are in a mission meeting, john knows that johnny has a issue with sitting still so he lets him draw on him. ghost does let him draw on him anymore due to johnny drawing something vulgar on the back of his helmet having the recruits laugh everytime he’d turn around. (i pray for those poor recruits that had no idea what hole they dug for themselves.)

when simon is having one of his hissy fits, he sulks in the sun. imagine him coming back in from being a child, his clothes hot to the touch but his skin as cold as ever. you chastise him every time for it, claiming that ‘you’ll puff into a cloud of smoke sooner or later, I’m calling it’

john is an odd one. you found it that he loves orange juice and is almost offended by the thought of him eating an actual orange.

“just came back from the shop, would you like an orange John?” you asked, starting to peel your own. your question was met with a pregnant silence. you looked up and were met with the most repulsed expression you’ve ever seen on him. cue your confused face.

ghost is the type to put on his shoes pre tied. yes, you read right. he ties his shoes THEN puts his feet into them. he’s also the type to put milk before cereal with the excuse of ‘getting his equal cereal to milk ratio’ you never understood but just nodded.

soaps obsession with the moon. need i say more, he’s literally stoping whatever he’s doing to look at the moon for hours. had to travel overnight? can’t the moons a blazing. needed to go on a food run? sits on his cars hood and looks at the moon immediately. he even has a tattoo of a picture he took with the moon. not of the moon, but of him posing with the moon.

kyle my beloved has a collection of compact mirrors. random but needed he’d say. anytime anyone asked why he has them he’d treat it as if it was an insult to ask.

Do you have an infodump on your captain Agent 4?

Firstly, thank you so much for the ask and interest!!

Secondly, I sure do! Conelia's my first and main Splatoon OC so she has. a lot. of lore, and I'll gladly infodump some stuff :D

Let's start with her general reference sheet! I think it makes for a nice introduction:

I think the first thing anyone asks (reasonably so) when I tell them that she's the captain is "Why not Agent 3?" In my agent story, Agent 3 is completely MIA since the end of Octo Expansion, and even without taking that into account, Conelia spends a lot more time with Marie and Callie than he (being very introverted) ever did, and she's definitely more dedicated to being a good fighter. So, when it came to choosing who's going to be the next captain, she was a very clear choice.

Being one of the captains of her competitive team, she was already used to this sort of responsability, too! The NSBS sure can sponsor her dream of being a professional competitive player, and this just meant more time to be spending with the Squid Sisters, which can't be a bad thing in her opinion.

Here's an overall of my (active) agents:

Asra and Radish are a bit outdated since I've added more interesting things to their lore since I made this picture, but the rest pretty much remains the same!

Conelia really enjoys Asra's company as her first pupil, being much more proactive and giving more pieces of random advice than we see the Captain do in the game. After the events of ROTM, the two of them very often communicate mostly through sign language, since it usually feels more comfortable for Asra (who is mostly nonverbal due to some circumstances in their life, but with Conelia they sometimes speak). She's super excited and wants to teach Asra everything she can, acknowledging that they "have a lot of potential".

She also has a long friendship history with both Agent 3 and Agent 8, but they might not be super relevant to the conversation at hand? I do have this relationship chart from some time ago that could be a fast, superficial view however (don't mind the old designs, drawings are a little old, but the info is still correct):

So yeah, if we talk about the general character, Conelia has most of the attributes usually associated with Agent 4 (the excitedness and general perceived vibe, the "always busy with school" aspect of it, living far from Inkopolis or Splatsville, etc). The most important aspect of her personal life that I feel affects how she handles leadership (and therefore her work as a captain) is having inattentive parents who forced her to be independent since way too young.

It took her some convincing from the Squid Sisters to accept recruiting a new agent, even though 8 is mostly not working with them anymore - she just wants to do everything herself all of the time, even though she knows that workload would be too much for her.

I won't go too far into detail on her personal life right now (or I'd make an actual essay here), but hopefully this infodump was interesting to you :D once again thank you for the interest and the excuse to dump about my ocs in public

When they return to the Fire Nation, Lu Da greets Ta Ming with full facial hair (of a cursedly familiar type) for the first time in their relationship. And this, IMO, makes her expression here that much better.

Borrowing from a silly idea Crooked pitched some time ago, where on an extended mission in partnership with the FN Navy, Lu Da decides to grow out mutton chops just to mock and effectively annoy the hell out of Zhao. Up for debate whether or not it would make the admiral mad enough to shave it all off.

- Oriko is a fortune teller with the power to communicate to the dead and tell the future and Kirika is her bodyguard

- Yuma is a zashiki warashi

- Kaede’s skin is wood like with mushrooms growing on her. She doesn’t really mind though.

My character is unmistakably fat, and she’s not very feminine

and this person not ONLY made her skinny

but also gave her big boobs

And huge eyelashes and earrings and nail polish

and a very out of character facial expression that felt vvvaguely sexual?

Its just. 

That’s NOT my girl.

but they said on their profile n shit it’s their very first art fight and that was their first ever attack and I did a revenge (bc I always try to) and thanked them for it anyway because I didn’t want them to get discouraged or to dislike art fight because of a bad experience.
