Yeah, I don’t “work.” As in, I don’t go somewhere for 8-12 hours every day where I can’t even choose when I sit down, go to the bathroom, drink water, eat, talk. I don’t devote 40+ hours a week to meaningless work that could be effectively and successfully replaced by non-human engineering. I don’t put on a fake smile and make smalltalk. I don’t sacrifice my mind and body for a few bucks so I can eat later in the day; not even for money that lasts and can take care of all my needs. I don’t sell myself to a corporation so that I have no time for silly things like being being considerate of other people’s space, being caring and empathetic towards other people going through a hard time, going out of my way to make someone else’s day better as frequently as possible for the sole reason being that it makes me feel good to do it, making art, going for nature walks, taking naps, being mindful of my own thoughts and feelings as they happen, being someone other people can lean on, helping others clean, cook, organize, sort through their trauma, rear their kids, effectively communicate, and solve problems.

Yeah. I don’t “work.” But I do literally everything else. Thanks for coming :)

PS: Getting a “real job” would end my life because my physical and mental health would tank simultaneously, and both aspects of my health come from the same one organ, so they are interlaced with each other and highly depend on each other. So, don’t even bother giving me this type of advice, it’s not wanted or needed, and what I’m saying isn’t an exaggeration - I mean it with my whole pussy :) Kisses!!

Perhaps the funniest thing that could have happened lately was that this anticapitalist cafe and community space near my place was shutting down near the end of May - but because so many Texas and Florida conservatives celebrated it online, the place got a huge donation to keep operating

It's a great place. It functions mostly like a regular cafe but it has this free/pay what you want drip coffee for anyone who wants it, free bathroom use, and it stocks indie merch and books on antifascist, queer, leftist, socialist, indigenous topics. I've met a lot of awesome people there.

Its very existence enrages conservatives, and anarchocapitalists who tried to claim it only to be shown the middle finger by its anticapitalist owner, who is an all around nice dude (and a fellow Elden Ring fan)

If you can toss a coin to its continued operation, please do! Upon request from their followers on insta they opened a Gofundme. Even just a few dollars will be a huge help.
