For Your Consideration, Some Terrible Losers Club Headcanons**

**Mostly Eddie cus I think he’s silly

When they got married, Eddie and Myra’s wedding colors were teal and white

Their wedding song was “A Thousand Years” from the Twilight soundtrack — Eddie thinks it’s the most beautiful song to ever be written

Richie uses Apple Music (saw this in a fanfic somewhere, couldn’t unsee it)

Eddie’s the type of guy to mansplain the “true message of” Hamilton to the women in his workplace/Myra

After Derry 2016, Bill sends all of his books to Beverly so she can approve/veto the endings. She’s usually a good neutral party

The Losers meet once a month at least for dinner and to catch up

Richie gives them all VIP passes to his future shows and they never fail to show up (even when he ends up relentlessly bullying them on stage)

Bill and Richie definitely kissed in front of paparazzi once “for the bit” (Audra approved of this and thought it was hilarious)

Eddie was a huge fan of Twilight but didn’t admit it because he saw himself as “above” the other fans

They welcomed Patty Uris as an honorary Loser after Stan’s funeral. She and Mike get along the most of all of them

Despite not being a millennial, Eddie certainly acts like a stereotypical one and you cannot convince me otherwise (hence the Twilight and Hamilton references)

Eddie’s the type of guy to say “don’t talk to me before I’ve had my coffee”*

*If he doesn’t have his coffee then Eddie’s a little bit agitated throughout the day, BUT if Beverly doesn’t have her coffee she will kill someone. Stan is somewhere between them

Mike adopted a Pomeranian after leaving Derry. Richie is sometimes horrified of it

The others bring up Eddie frequently in a joking way, but rarely (at first) does Richie participate. Somehow nobody notices that he gets quiet when they bring the topic up

The Losers got famous on social media after reconnecting, purely because of how weird they seem together. Beverly’s personal accounts quickly turned into everyone’s source for Losers content

I’m sorry but Ben seems like the type of guy to go to a family event and ask “where’s my hug? :D”

Bill would want to make his son a junior to “carry on his family name” but also, I feel like if he were to have kids he’d be graced with all girls. Girldad Bill…hm

Richie being their universe’s Bill Hader is so silly to me because, and ONLY because of Cloudy With A Chance Of Meatballs. I feel like the Losers would relentlessly bully him for that shit

Not a headcanon but I love Patty and Audra, I’m quite possibly their biggest fan

Just gonna throw out a few since I have been busy for a few days. These aren't all necessarily in the same universe all at once.

-Bill is the best kisser in the poly relationship and Ben is kinda pissed but also likes to be kissed by him

-Bill was really into 90s Leonardo DiCaprio but didn't know liking boys was a thing yet, so he thought he just wanted to look like him and tried for a while

-Bill got Georgie obsessed with horror when he was definitely too young and he always shares his new work with Georgie first

-Bill's favorite part of the holiday season is celebrating Hanukkah with Stan

-Bill and Bev take a yearly road trip just the two of them to go to an annual film festival they love but also they are both wildly attracted to this woman named Audra who's one of the organizers and they've accepted it's really a trip just to see her

-Bill and Mike both heavily annotate the books they read and then trade so they can see how each other feels or thinks as they read through each other's books

-Bill lets Richie order for him at restaurants because Richie is so attentive that he has Bill's taste in food, as well as many other things, etched into his brain and knows what he'd like anywhere they go

-Bill and Eddie are super involved with a bunch of different activist groups. The other Losers are too, but Bill and Eddie are a step above and are the most invested of all of them and they do all their things together

Rose you never let me down, this was an absolute gift to wake up to. Thank you for sharing your brain worms.

-I love this hc bc Bill doesn't even try to be the best at kissing, he just kinda is and none of the Losers understand it

-'didn't know liking boys was a thing yet' you perfectly summoned up Bill's sexuality for that time era. Also thinking about Bill will 90's Leo Dicaprio hair 🥰

-Georgie scared the other kids in class bc he would be like 'do you want to play monster' at recess but when he's older he absolutely eats up Bill's writing. Georgie always gets to read his new stories first

-Rose you're killing me, that's so fucking cute. Bill trips up the words because of his stutter but Stan doesn't care, just having Bill there to celebrate with him is so special

-I love the idea of Bill and Bev traveling to this annual festival just because they think one of the organizers is hot. They try to date her and Audra is so confused bc she knows they're a couple but surely they're not hitting on her right?

-oh my little heart soars, library bfs <3 they have a little 'book club' with just them and they'll each pick a different book and read it, annotating, and then swapping them aaaaa i love it so much

-it's the little things isn't it? They'll go to a new restaurant that neither of them have been to before and Bill doesn't even look at the menu, there's too many options so he just lets Richie order for him bc he trusts him

-Bill and Eddie showing up to every march, them going and sponsoring fundraisers, travelling to go help in the wake of disasters, I love this so much. They care about each other but they also care about the world. Also Bill is the one who holds the sign at the marches and Eddie has the megaphone. not that he needs one

Richie, his arms out wide and a mildly irritated expression on his face, slowly rotated in a circle, letting the peanut gallery get an eyeful.

“I don’t know,” mused Audra, her fingers cradling her chin. “Do we like the blue? The burgundy worked so much better with his skin tone.”

“But his eyes,” Bev insisted, drawing out the word. “Rich, turn around and really pop those baby blues for us again, would you?”

“I’m more than a piece of meat, Beverly,” he told her dryly, but did as he was told. Unsurprisingly, he was ignored.

“I like the blue,” Patty admitted, a bit apologetically, to Audra. “Especially with those shoes. Where did you find those?”

Audra immediately perked up, beaming. “One of those clothes-share sites! No idea where they were from originally, but I saw them and had to get them for Richie. Bill never lets me dress him in anything fun.”

“They are perfect for him,” Bev cooed as well. “Eddie will totally notice them, too,” she added slyly to Richie, apparently remembering he existed again, “he appreciates a classy shoe.”

Richie bit out a frown, his cheeks heating traitorously. “I hate you. I’m never asking you three for help again.”

“That’s a lie a you know it,” Bev answered with a smirk. “Now, let’s talk about those pants...Not that you’ll have them on long.”

Richie groaned, but allowed himself a smile as the three of them burst into whistles and cat calls at his expense.

He sighed. Never again.

and i am BACK with more thoughts and feelings about bill denbrough!!! which means unfortunately you all have to see me post about them!!!!! <3 ANYWAY. i've noticed lately that a lot of people tend to hold bill incredibly accountable for having an affair with bev and i find it a little bit weird given the context of the scene, so i am here to jump in as president of the bill defense group. i think what's worth noting about the affair is that it wasn't an isolated event. it was completely related to everything else that had been happening since the losers arrived in derry in 1985; bill's stutter, richie's glasses, silver, etc. there were forces at work -- It or the turtle or those pesky "preconditions for the use of magic", whatever you want to believe -- actively de-aging the losers, for lack of a better word. i won't reiterate my entire post about the palimpsest of derry, and the adult-children that the losers are, but i think it's fair to say that upon returning to derry, all 6 of them very quickly did adopt the behaviors and characteristics of their younger selves. that's the whole point. It is a very metaphysical novel, and it doesn't want you to entirely understand what's going on with its protagonists. what we do know is that the losers had very little control in the outcome of their lives, or even the outcome of their fight with It. all of their actions, and even their thoughts to some degree, were influenced by some outside force. fate? the god turtle? who knows, but they certainly weren't ALONE for the entire novel. bill and bev's affair is not something that i think either of them were in full control of. they had been in a pseudo-relationship as children, and it was important to them back then. it affected their feelings and behaviors as kids, and it makes total sense that it would continue to do so once they returned to derry. the reversion of the protagonists is not meant to be fun, it's meant to be uncomfortable and scary. they don't like it either. it's also worth mentioning that bill and bev's affair reminded her of what they did as children, which further jogged her memory and helped them toward their eventual defeat of It. all of the age regression was necessary because it contributed to the plot in significant ways, and the affair is not an exception to that rule. i think that when people have an immense dislike for bill BECAUSE of the affair (which, trust me, i have noticed from many many people), there's generally a lack of understanding why the affair occurred in the first place. this isn't a novel where the rules of general morality apply, because they aren't in a general situation where they all have general control over all their behavior and/or circumstances. now, do i think audra deserved better than bill and should probably have divorced him? absolutely! but i also don't think that's bill's fault. i don't believe -- and i may elaborate on this later in a different post -- any of the losers could really have ever lived a satisfactory life with anyone outside of each other, simply by virtue of the nature of their relationship.

I really love the idea of (big shocker, totally out of character moment) trans Bill but specifically her coming out as trans to Audra thinking she would be upset or they would split up, but Audra wants to stay with her. Audra often gets thrown aside for the sake of other ships and I understand, but also I like when they're happy too.

(I thought about this because I imagined that Hotel Transylvania meme but instead it says "Haha Audra you are banging your transgender wife" and I feel like Richie would send that to her)

So let's talk about this, Audra and Bill meet in their twenties and get married pretty quickly after meeting each other. Bill who is trying so hard to embody being a 'man' even when it feels wrong. And think Audra would see that Bill does struggle with that or Bill tries to hard but she never says anything, she lets it be.

It's after the second battle with It that when Bill gets back she decides 'fuck it' and nervously comes out to Audra, who welcomes her with open arms.

I just love the idea of Audra teaching Bill how to do makeup, taking her shopping, giving Bill parts of girlhood that she missed out on. It's a sweet concept <3 Such a sweet ask Rose!
