Some of y'all be like 'eat the rich' then turn around and be classist when you don't like someone.
Same way y'all hate bodyshaming and fatphobia until you personally need to insult someone.
Same way y'all hate ageism then running to someone's bio to check their age.
Same way y'all hate aphobia but uh-oh someone is a little bit irritating then they need to get laid. Suddenly being a sexless virgin is bad. They've got no bitches and that's bad.
Love to talk about the benefits and beauties of online communities and how important they are until someone annoys you then it's go touch grass
Love to talk about mental health until you got beef now they're a 'narcissist' and 'delusional' and they need to 'get help' and don't get me STARTED on how people love using the word bipolar
Cant believe in saying this but y'all need to learn how to insult people better
cause mfer WE CAN HEAR YOU. You're not serving what you think you're serving
Always want to talk about how someone 'probably looks like' or what they 'should be doing' or whether they're 'unstable' or not.
Quit being ridiculous. Quit being a hypocrite and calling it cunty. Knock it off!! Learn how to read someone correctly or go home!!!

Listen man, you guys can't be like "you guys need to be normal about asexuality" and then turn around and get weirdly judgemental when you find out someone doesn't have sex by choice. Like that's weird that some of you do that.

I'm an "AroAce Stereotype"
I'm Romance averse/Repulsed>
I'm Sex repulsed
I'm non-partnering
I hate the idea of marriage in all forms
I don't want a QPR at all
I'm loveless
I'm someone who gets uncomfortable at sexual talk and sex jokes
I'm someone who often has innuendos or sexual concept fly over my head.
I'm someone who can't tell when someone is flirting with me
I'm someone who can't pick up on romantic or sexual tension
I'm someone who finds "shipping" to be annoying
I'm someone who says "They just seem like friends to me"
I'm someone who believed that attraction could be turned on or off
I'm someone who can't make sense of romance at all and cant figure out what makes it different from every other relationship.
I'm someone who thinks romance is stupid and sex is gross and I don't understand the big deal everyone makes about it
I'm someone who never was upset to find out I was AroAce but rather relieved as I have a genuine fear of being stuck in a romantic relationship that i do not want.
In all cases I am not an AroAce who can be considered "normal" by the standards of allo society.
I'm not just a stereotype for you to shit on.
I'm not the reason aphobes are aphobic
I'm not a problem that you need to erase and refute to be accepted by allos.
I'm not an experience that you and ignore as "not really how aspec people are" just because You are not part of it.
Stop leaving us behind. Stop throwing us under the bus. We deserve support too. We deserve to not be demonized and shunned because we're an "stereotype". We are not the problem. We are not a problem to be fixed. start fighting aphobes on their logic instead of trying to make up for our existence.

This one is for all the aspecs who didn't feel like there's something wrong with them. To all those too oblivious or too indomitable to feel alienated. You're still awesome and you're still valid

how people treat franziska in aa2 is a litmus test for how u treat women in media i think bc yes shes irrational and shes angry and shes mean to phoenix. she thinks her brothers dead. she thinks phoenix is responsible for that. not only does she think her brother is dead her father is recently arrested and has been disgraced and her entire world is flipped upside down and shes in a foreign country and shes barely 18 and her brother is dead and her fathers in jail for murder and she's the only von karma left. of course her only thought is revenge on the person who's caused it all. how would you react in that situation?
((also imo people are way too serious about the whole whip thing. Ace Attorney is a game with slapstick violent humor. It's supposed to make you laugh. She's not abusing Phoenix, the source material is making a joke. What's important to note is that AA's writing is very sexist at times and of course it's not treating her or her feelings seriously. But no one takes issue when Godot throws very hot coffee in Phoenix's face, or when Pearl hits Phoenix so hard he passes out, because they know it's the games comedy. So what's the difference when Franziska does it?))

multiple times now I've seen people genuinely claim that the solution to aphobia is for asexual and aromantic people to stop talking about their asexuality and aromanticism. if you think like this you need to be put in a meat grinder like actually

Look, I love me a good platonic marriage/partnership story. You know I do.
But. My friends. My babes. My guys.
Two people being in a lifelong, literally or effectively married platonic partnership are not obligated to forever forgo sex and dating with all other partners until death amen. POLYAMORY EXISTS. It exists for a reason! You can be married to the 100% nonsexual love of your life and still want sex to be in your life, and it still can be! Without feeling gross or empty or like a traitor, even!
(and yeah, this also goes for marriages/partnerships that DO already involve sex, but y'all are not ready for THAT conversation.)

so Johnny has canonically committed every crime known to man except for the sexual ones, right? And I know that he always assumed it was just a thing carmilla had built into him. but I like to imagine that he's sex-repulsed ace. this fact has never crossed his mind ever

Do you ever think about how there totally could have been an old classmate of Phoenix Wright and Miles Edgeworth in the audience during like turnabout sister or turnabout samurai. Do you think they would realize? Like “hey, were those the guys in my class in like fourth grade? I kinda remember them. Wonder if they remember each other. But it was so long ago, I doubt they would even care.” Meanwhile Edgeworth and Phoenix are undergoing the most insane mental battles where both of them are going “I recognize my best friend across the courtroom and I desperately want to be close with them again.” And “god he is so god damn annoying I wish he would die already.”

A lot of people are completely disinterested in creating a safe space for all aros and aces because that would require letting go of being allowed to publicly shame things like sex and romance. There is a stark difference between repulsion/aversion and negativity, and that line stands where you treat those things as disgusting or as a personal fault/flaw. While I'm romance repulsed, I'm never going to go on my blog and call romance disgusting or gross, because it isn't; it's a feeling, neutral in morality, and a way to live your life if you so choose.
I don't think a lot of people get this or what the difference is. Anybody can be negative and anyone can have harmful ideas, favourable or repulsed. It's about how you treat it, how you express about it, and if you seek to demonise or make those things out to be disgusting, perverse, or deviant.
Even small things or "jokes" add up over time; put yourself in the shoes of someone who has to see those "jokes" made about their lifestyle and what's important to them every day, or even every hour. Would you still feel like they're lighthearted after even one day of reading over and over again?
[Not to say anyone who's done this in the past is a horrible, terrible person. You can change and grow as you take in info; that's just the life experience. But, to grow, you need to actively want to, and that means addressing biases and asking yourself "should I say this? Could this affect my peers?"]

queen of faithshipping content, i need your 2cents, do you think that babies kissed off-screen in the finale? 🥹
Ok first of all "queen of faithshipping content" is a title I don't think I deserve (yet) but I'll happily take it ^^"
That said. Do u know what u have just unleashed. Listen. Listen.
Obviously they kissed off-screen. Like, I get it, the writers were cowards about the whole thing because it's a strictly genre-defined shonen show aimed at twelve year-old boys, yadda, yadda, but for the love of all that's holy.
Their faces are reflected in each other's fucking eyes. They must be standing so close together I can't.
AND THEN AKI CLOSES HER GODDAMN EYES. WHAT THE FUCK WOULD SHE BE CLOSING HER EYES FOR IF NOT FOR A KISS. You cannot make this shit up.
^ Extremely intimate way to hold hands.
Like. Look. Look. I'm not mandating that everyone needs to ship these two. People have their Yusei ships, people have their Aki ships, live and let live, I occasionally enjoy content shipping these two with other people too. It's literally fine. BUT. As far as the actual show is concerned for me, they are canon. At least as canon as toolshipping, roseknightshipping, treasonshipping, firebirdshipping or what have you, at any rate. And unless the actual, real-life team who wrote, storyboarded, animated, directed, and voice acted the scene above literally comes out of the woodwork to tell me otherwise, it's always going to be a kiss to me. Case closed.
So, did they kiss? Short answer: Yes.
Long answer:

i have a whole analysis in mind as to why ace, robin and sanji's backstories are pretty much parallelisms and they have very similar trauma responses but i'm probably not writing shit because then i will have the biggest breakdown known to mankind
