Random pokemon headcannon - Hop, Marnie and Bede all have different accents.

Galar is basically the UK but flipped upside down, so I imagine Hop and Leon would have scottish/northern accents. Leons isn't as strong as Hops because he's been travelling around for champion duties.

Bede has a Cockney/Londoner accent. He spends most of the time putting on a typical British accent for publicity but if you piss him off, his actual accent starts to come out.

Marnie and Piers would have Liverpudlian accents. Most of Team Yell probably would too.

(Might change some of these in the future but theirs so many different accents to choose from)

Helps Kabu run a pride organization, and keeps him updated on what's going on in the LGBT+ community

Thinks he's straight for a long time

Mostly because of his job as champion, he never really had the time to do a deep dive into his sexuality. He also didn't want to think otherwise out of fear that it would ruin his reputation.

He gets a lil too tipsy one night w/Raihan and starts seeing him in a different light for the first time.

(Well, the first time that he's willing to admit to.)

Like, damn. Has his eyes always been that bright? Or has his smile always made Leon's heart beat out of his chest? What the hell is going on?

Turns out he'd been thinking out loud, and Raihan explained to him that he might be bisexual or pansexual. (While also jokingly saying something like, "How could you not be attracted to me.")

This took a huge weight off Leon's chest and helped him be more comfortable exploring his sexuality

Later figures out that he identifies as bi

Hop is the first person he comes out to officially (and they both cry.... a lot.)

She/Her

Bi

(She figured out she was bi when she was a younger teenager)

Debates over the Midnight Rails

When traveling Galar in part of Arceus’ quest for her to “Seek out all Pokemon”, Akari meets a new friend on the train before she signs up for the Galar League.

Headcannons on Akari in Galar and her dynamic with Hop.

Warning- it’s long and kind of got rambly

Hop is working under Sonia at this point, and while he enjoys the work, he doesn’t really feel like this really fits him. While her focus is how pokemon affected history, he’s far more interested in how pokemon affect the present.

He could theoretically try working under Magnolia herself, but somehow he doesn’t think that’ll help.

Gloria and Victor are busy pissing off Galar by trading the Champion title like its hot potato. Even if they weren’t he’s not even sure if they would be of any help, given that every time either of them gets involved with something they end up taking over the whole thing instead of actually helping. Bede and Marnie are busy training to take over the gyms, so he doesn’t want to bug them.

He wants to do more, but he’s just not sure what more is right now.

Here he’s coming back from picking up some files for Sonia- any excuse to escape the lab and blow off some steam for a bit- when a girl comes up to him as asks if the seats taken.

Her accent is a weird mix of proper old Galarian and something he can’t place. There isn’t a piece of exposed skin not littered with skars. Cuts, burns, both flame and electrical, bite marks, slashes you name it. Tired, she looks like she’s not entirely sure if she actually asked her question out loud.

A mystery, and the most interesting one he’s spotted in the last 17 monthes, he says yes, relighting an old family friendship he hadn’t even known existed.

-/Setting the Scene/-

Akari and Hop get along like wildfire, discussing everything from pokemon ecology to their hometowns to phone cases being a bitch to come off to comparing battle facilities between Unova and Galar.

She explains that her weird accent is from learning Galarian from a Professor and a Nimbasa man who spoke mostly train metaphors

He doesn’t ask about the scars. Leon doesn’t like it when people ask about he scars he got from Enternatus, it’s probably the same for her.

He doesn’t realize how close to the truth he is.

It’s somehow left unmentioned; their relations to the heads of the Battle Tower and Battle Subway.

They eventually get to discussing their own pokemon, where Akari mentions that she is shocked that the Galar Metro doesn’t allow pokemon outside of their pokeballs on the trains. You’d expect them to be properly reenforced given all the trouble with wild pokemon dynamaxing.

Hop gets completely distracted when she pulls out her craft kit and begins to make masterfully hand carved pokeballs, one after another in a seemingly endless variety.

Akari shows him how to make one, explaining how her friend not only was a master carver himself, but taught her how to make pokeballs and gifted her the kit himself. She offers to show him how to make them, and thier discussion quickly becomes a carving lesson.

They spend hours just talking when the subject of pokemon battling comes up.

Akari asks him if he’s any good, and Hop answers honestly that he’s only ever consistently lost to two people, and Gloria was the first one to beat the previously unbeatable champion.

“That doesn’t answer my question.” The blade flashed as she spun it between her fingers, pulling it away from the apricorn to point to his chest.

“What do you mean?” Eyes occupied with the knife that cut through iron like butter in her hands, he missed her tilt her head in amusement.

“I asked if you think you’re any good. You told me who you haven’t beat.” A breath esccaped him as she carefully returned to tool back to its place in her kit. “I could try and interpret that or you could answer the question.”

What’s that supposed to mean?

She had said it with an easy shrug, but somehow it felt as though the knife was still being pointed at his chest.

“Well...” He considered his words carefully, not wanting to come off as arrogant. “I think I’m good. Though it’s less about winning for me than it is having fun with my pokemon.”

“Good answer.” Smiling, she nodded in approval as she somehow slipped the briefcase sized craft kit into the satchel hidden beneath her jacket.

It’s a start to an interesting friendship

-/Akari’s Galar Legue Adventures/-

While I do think Akari would like doing the gym challenges (going so far as to get EVERY badge Unova has to offer-which by my last count was something like 18(?) if we take into account the mystery badges shown in the anime and the Striaton gym remaining open), I don’t really see her really caring to enter the final league competition.

Between her work under Dr.Fennel and Prof. Burnet, working as a Depot Agent, and continueing to complete Arceus’ neverending task to “Seek Out ALL Pokemon”, she didn’t really see the point in it all.

Beat a bunch of people to get MORE work as Champion? Hard pass.

However, there are archives in Galar that she needs access too, which requires her to beat the Hammerlocke gym leader. She can’t just go straight to him tho, no that would make her life too easy, she’d got to go through the whole gym system as the Galar League require you complete the gyms in order.

And a sponsor to compete.

And for all your battles to be filmed to a live interregional audience.

In addition to dealing with Dynamaxing.

The sponsor was easy- Gear Station would happy to back up one of their own, even without the Subway Bosses. (Advertisement for the Battle Subway!)

The lack of privacy was... Handled. Amazing what happens when she demonstrated what a alpha Rotom can do to recording equipment when reporters get in its trainers’s face.

Just leaving the Dynamaxing.

Her Pokemon are OP enough to take a dynamaxed pokemon without needing to themselves. They battled and won against gods on SEVERAL occasions for goodness sake, they don’t need it. But that doesn’t mean shit if Akari is unable to direct them.

You can’t tell me Dynamaxing wouldn’t be a major trigger for Akari. The Dynamaxed pokemon is far too similar to the Noble’s frenzies while the energy clouds just remind her of her time in exile. It’s not a great combo.

This is going to be a LONG league, even with her new friend.

SWSH Characters as Undertale and Deltarune songs

It's very long as I also added a reasoning on why i chose the song but-

I'll be making a youtube video with the songs n also sum small illustrations later probably...

Sonia - Lost Girl or Ferris Wheel Both songs are pretty similar and do play right after each other in the game, but idk they both fit Sonia. A feeling of waiting for someone to come back or to get noticed. Maybe wanting your childhood back to when everything was okay could be like how Leon and her just got further apart from each other as Leon continued being the champion. I know that Sonia is a more upbeat person but eh.

Leon - Song That Might Play When You Fight Sans Alright Toby Fox did work on his battle tower song so- Anyways- The song reminds me of when you’re battling Leon in the champion battle. There’s a sense of “oh shit I gotta win this” but still being playful and trying to give a show of not being phased (and also being cool for the fans watching in the stadium). Also the leitmotif of Papyrus being added in is just mwah. I could pull a lot of connections with Hop and Papyrus so just the connection between them in the song is yeah.

Rose - Wrong Enemy !?

This picture. Just this picture. You silly little fuck, Rose. (Also just wanted to add how Rose gives me Asgore vibes but he will never be as cool or as divorced as him).

Oleana - Attack of the Killer Queen Reminds me of the big battle you have with her to intercept Leon and Rose’s meeting. A sense of urgency and a sense to just make sure the player doesn’t get to interrupt them. Also it gives me of a slowly ticking bomb of Oleana exploding her anger onto u.

Victor - Alphys?? I’m not very sure for Victor tbh. I see him as someone who is shy, doesn’t speak much (haha silent protag), but none of the songs really convey that so he’ll have to be stuck with Alphys. Both him and Gloria are the protags so.. Nothing really canon about them and their pokespe vers…. scary.

Gloria - She’s Playing Piano I like to imagine her happily (and aggressively) playing piano from inside her home and it can be heard all throughout Postwick

Hop - Field of Hopes and Dreams He is literally a field of hopes and dreams (that you crush). Upbeat sorta song n really gives that hopeful feeling Hop had before going thru character development (and also the admiration for Leon). I almost chose “Bird That Carries You Over a Disproportionately Small Gap” as an analogy for his journey but this song fits more.

Marnie - Spider Dance??? I'm so sorry I couldn't think of one with her. Spider Dance reminds me of battling Marnie n I guess her goal of being champion throughout the game. The little note stairs at the beginning of the song really fit her I think.

Bede - Smart Race or It’s Pronounced Rules Are you telling me this guy doesn’t remind you of Berdley. Especially during Berdley’s “Bluebird of Misfortune” part. With Bede being an orphan and all and also getting abandoned by Rose, he probably just wants validation and to do things right. But also “It’s Pronounced Rules” because the regal vibe just fits him during his snobbish asshole phase

Milo - You Can Always Come Home I would’ve picked “Home” for him, but idk this version speaks out more to me. It just sounds more homely?? Plus the new leitmotifs from Deltarune also add really nicely to it (not to mention I headcannon Milo to be able to play guitar n the little squeaks the guitar gives in this one rlly makes me think of him playing it to his wooloos)

Nessa - Mysterious Place Gives a very watery feel. We don’t know much about Nessa and she’s usually calm (only losing her cool when losing a battle but quickly recovering) so I think it fits. I would’ve chosen “Waterfall” but I don’t really think Undyne’s(?) or the Ruin’s leitmotifs fit her.

Kabu - Uwa!! So HEATS!!♫ I’m very on the nose with this one aren’t I. It just gives very old man vibes okay I’m sorry. Just him sitting in a hot spring with a lil towel on his head and this funky little tune playing.

Bea - Stronger Monsters The song gives a very fighting game vibe and also the determination Bea has to become stronger. Also I feel like it could go over a training montage of her or somethin (with Machamp definitely in it).

Allister - Darkness Falls The chimes(?) give off a very Allister vibe. The song plays if you choose to give up after dying in Deltarune n I think that really tells of the trauma Al went thru to get his little ahoge ghost powers, though he didn’t give up in the end. Also just want to mention “Ghouliday” for him. Yeah. Don’t ask.

Opal - Oh! Dungeon Chaotic. Scary. @pechadream has inspired me to think of Opal as somewhat like Mettaton. The quizzes, puzzles, and dramatism that these two give are just…….. Yeah. The intensity of this song reminds me of Opal, very pink.

Melony - A Town Called Hometown Melony’s a mom so the feeling of homeliness is just really apparent with her. I like the little sprinkly noises in the song since it reminds me of snow and Melony is an ice type leader n all. Plus the leitmotifs of “Don’t Forget” during the “Don’t forget, I’m with you in the dark..” part in the song just- it’s just Melony and Gordie’s relationship okay- All the unconditionally love even with them arguing, yeah.

Gordie - Dogbass or Death by Glamour Gordie is a very eccentric guy, very cool guy also. Seen by how he backflips n does all those cool gymnastic tricks I think it fits in like a cool entrance song or something lol. Also I can see Gordie just jamming out to the little tune before striking a pose at the end. Death by Glamour is also something I can see Gordie jamming to. He is stirking poses any chance he gets, he is so cool. (also imagining him being dramatic to the song’s drops n stuff are just mwah).

Piers - Susie Includes a guitar, very rock and cool. Could’ve picked Vs. Susie but that has too many instrumentals and would’ve made it “too much work” for Piers. Sounds like a cool hero swooping in to save the day (post-game?)

Raihan - My Castle Town Okay this is probably not accurate at all but it’s my post I get to do what I want. I can see Raihan listening to this as he reads his books n studies about battling and history up in Hammerlocke castle. It’s not really the “battle side” of him and more of him just being him when he’s alone and not having to put up his persona. Also I just really love this song (I was top 1% of Toby Fox’s listeners because of this song on Spotify lol).

SWSH Rival Headcannons: Holding their hands.

I’m sorry if it’s no good and their OOC, this is my first time writing ANYTHING. ;_; Tysm for reading and please be gentle with me! <3 Very nervous posting ahaha...

Hop - His hands are warm, but a little on the dry side. - The texture doesn't bother you too long though, once you take his hand in yours he starts to get clammy. - His cheeks are slightly flushed, but he's not too embarrassed! - More anxious than anything. - "Am I squeezing their hand too tight? Are my hands sweaty? What if--" - You give his hand a slight, reassuring squeeze. He sighs and you can see his body soften. - Gives your hand a small squeeze back then flashes you a big smile! - Once he's a little more sure of himself, he'll take your hand and pull you along. - Tends to walk fast, try your best to keep up! - Makes a conscious effort to not be the first to let go of the others' hand.

Marnie - Her hands are soft and a little cold. Her fingers are long and thin with chipped nail polish. - She's shy about holding your hand at first, you're gonna have to be the one to make the first move. - Your fingers snake against hers, then close around her fingers. Takes her a bit to close her fingers onto yours. - She offers you a small smile, but says nothing. Just enjoying the moment. - You two often walk Spikemuth together, side-by-side with fingers intertwined. - If any of the Team Yell members see you two, they definitely awe and cheer. - Blush blooms on her pale complexion as she scolds them, "Can't you lot mind your own business?" - Poor Team Yell. - Huffs and drags you to walk along the shoreline outside of Spikemuth instead. - Piers definitely hears about it and teases her about it later.

Bede - His hands are soft and not too warm, but not too cold. His grip is on the tighter side, not that you'll know. - Nope! Will not want to hold your hand if you ask, it's too soft of a gesture for him to handle. - You'll have to sneak your way in, my friend. Maybe while you two camp together? - Sitting at the fire, not long after sharing a meal between you two and your pokemon, you glance over at him. - He's off-guard, watching your pokemon play. Hands resting on the ground, by his sides. - Should you invade his space? No. But will you? Yes. - You inch your hand closer to his, slowly but surely. - Eventually, you cup your hand on top of his. - Immediately turns to you, wide-eyed and red. Not from anger though, don't worry! - You tilt your head and smile at him, acting so innocent. - He turns away and huffs, but doesn't remove his hand from under yours. - Eventually, he'll sigh and give in. Taking your hand in his, his grip a bit tense. - Slowly melts into it though, his posture and grip soften. - He enjoys holding your hand, but will NOT say it out loud!

Avery - His hands are gloved, so no skin contact :( Unless you ask. - He will be SUPER embarrassed about it, the pokeballs floating around him will jostle around a bit before he budges. - You have to make the first move and take his hand. But, goodness, is it worth it! - Soft hands~ You gently glide your thumb over his knuckles, enjoying the smoothness of his skin. - Will 100% yank his hand away if someone pops up, he's just too embarrassed! - He apologizes afterwards, offering his hand to you again. What a gentleman. - Guides you to a more secluded area on the Isle, so no one can interrupt you two again. - These moments are so tender to him, he cherishes it.

Klara - Her hands are soft and a little on the plump side, definitely well-manicured. - Her rings may dig a tad into your hands, she might remove them just for you though... Might. - She doesn't have a very tight grip, but it's not soft either. Just the right amount of squeeze! - Walking side-by-side, fingers interlocked, she likes to lightly swing your arms. - If something catches her attention, like a cute slowpoke or a max mushroom, she'll definitely pull you along with her. - Some of her perfume rubs off on you after you guys are done hand-holding. A lingering reminder of your time shared~

Okay so I dunno if I’m gonna have a foodle ready today so here’s some lil things for the blog

Leon isn’t champion anymore but boy oh boy does he still want everyone to have a champion time. He became the announcer for the gym challenge after Rose was apprehended.

Odd is just a shy boy who likes a punkish aesthetic and somehow always attracts danger and chaos. Hop has contemplated getting him an Aipom backpack leash.

He did get the leash once. Instant regret when he was dragged along for the ride when Odd got carried off by a Braviary.

Some time after that Hop gave up and just started tagging along as much as he could to make sure Odd didn’t get hurt.

There are still times when Hop feels envious of Odd being champion, however he is happy and confident in his decision to be a ranger.

Marnie and Bede often take turns being the one facing Odd in the gym challenge, though they do get surprised at points when a challenger gets through instead.

Their battles typically end up being extraordinary, as both their teams are simultaneously strong and weak against each other.

Even though Odd’s goal changed to defeating the gym challenge and Leon, he still has a goal to find his father and is often away from home searching.

Odd has a pendant from his father that contains a mega evolution keystone in it. His dad got it from a trip to Kalos, and had meant to give the pendant to Odd when he got his first Pokémon. Odd’s mother gave it to him before he set off for the gym challenge.

Raihan and Leon still compete fairly often with one another, and at times Hop and Odd end up judging their competitions.

Hop still participates in tournaments when he can.

Since Odd was still very much a kid when he became champion, he was given help from Leon taking care of the duties that came with being champion, such as balancing the annual gym challenge with his schooling schedule.

Odd works at his mother’s Pokémon rescue, and will one day take over running it when he’s old enough.

Hop loves you so much!!

He finds you adorable in every way, and especially loves that he’s taller than you

Just another reason to tease you!

Hop teases you playfully, and honestly would never tease anyone too much

He also loves to cuddle you!!

He’s also your number #1 hypeman!

Hop is supportive in every way, even in ways you thought he couldn’t be supportive

But he also loves taking you places, and taking pictures with you (as long as you’re comfortable!)

If you’re ever feeling down, Hop will just flash you his signature smile, and it makes everything in your world feel better, even if just for a moment

Bede

Bede doesn’t mind too much, and honestly he just loves you for who you are!

However, he will not stand for you feeling self confident

He will do whatever he can to try and help you see how beautiful you are

Take you on dates of your choice, have a lazy day at home, spend a day out in the Wild Area, him telling you stories, etc.

I also feel like he would write poems for you, especially for holidays or anniversaires of any kind

He also loves it when you come to cheer him on at matches and he just sees you out there, jumping as high as you can to see while cheering

You’re the world to him, and he loves you for exactly who and what you are!

Milo

To Milo, you’re the most precious thing in the universe

You’re one of the people that he’s actually taller than, and he enjoys being able to rest his arm on the top of your head sometimes

Milo is whipped for you, like a lot

He’ll do anything you want (as long as he’s mostly comfortable), and will do anything to brighten your day

He loves spending time with you, and especially loves some good ol’ cuddles with you!!

Cue Milo literally never wanting to be away from you

But his favorite times are when the two of you are just hanging out, and you’re in comfortable clothes and he’s in his pajamas, and you both just lie around, saying sweet things, and displaying your love for each other!

He’ll also do whatever he can to help improve your bad days, and is always there exactly when you need him.

C6. What do they do when they see someone asking for money or food? If they ignore them, why? If they help, how so?

He helps, Usually this is in the way of food because bede doesn’t really carry money around with him, this is dictated by his birds because they know damn well he’d willfully hand it all to someone with little thought if he thought they really needed it. Though he also provides company! because sometimes these people are just lonely and need a friendly face.

He doesn’t outright ignore them, but he doesn’t help them either because he doesn’t have any capacity to care, He see’s them as just another person. If nothing else someone so bold as to approach and ask him for anything, The only time this doesn’t apply is if it’s children, He might not be able to care but he had a soft spot for kids before all of this shadow business and that hasn’t disappeared, Not even now.

It’s not so uncommon to see him go above and beyond for a child, Even those who might be seen as brats, he’s not entirely sure why he does and if you ask him why. He’ll simply respond with ‘Why not?’ and move on with his day.

Type!swap AU: Bede (Psychic/Fairy to Ice/Water), I decided to make the drawing of him look like an ice themed league card and i think i’ve succeeded, I even made him a new gym leader symbol to help show off the ice tying (I’d originally recolor and slightly edited opal’s fairy symbol)

- Bede was born to two once loving parents in the town of circhester and he a happy, bouncing baby, But things don’t always stay that way, It started when he was only a year old. His father was killed in a mining incident at his job, They never recovered his body and things started to spiral, His mother grew increasingly more unhinged with her grief. More and more until that day, A blizzard hit...She walked into that storm with him. Carrying him all the way into the deeper forests that surrounded Circhester, She’d left no note in their home, She’d planned to lay in the cold snow with her child in that raging blizzard and allow them both to succumb to it.

- He was the only one who lived, It was the next day when concerned neighbors noticing the bare minimum of tracks had their pokemon, A boltund track them through the frosty cold fresh snow (With a few cops and a local doctor-). They found them both, Bede’s mother, Frozen over and still with a barely breathing bede nearby, Huddled by a few wild sneasel and a weavile who’d barely kept them warm in their fur.

- He’d been brought to hospital, Not without damage, He suffered severe ice burns along his face, Neck and eyes (Other parts of his body to but none quite as severe-). Leaving a vicious amount of old scarring on his face into adulthood and taking his sight for good. (Due to a mark that looks more like claws on one eye, He might have nearly been a pokemon’s dinner before the weavile and sneasel helped out-)

- From that point on, Bede lived in an orphanage, Hurt. But...surprisingly happily, Known to be a stout but quietly cheerful. He was never discovered by Chairman rose due to being all the way in circhester, Instead, he grew up. He was never adopted (Nobody wanted him for the way he looked, For his disability-), He aged out of the system. But that didn’t stop him, He worked hard for while he couldn’t see, He could feel with a touch more careful then thought possible

- He even took a note from woobats/swoobats and made clicking noises, noises that let him hear if there was something in the way, The vague shape of it. (For anyone saying it’s not possible, there was a case of an actual blind boy who did the same-), But he does have a guide pokemon specifically trained for him to use, It’s a Indeedee, She wears a little vest when she’s at work and makes sure bede doesn’t run into things he can’t click at.

- His gym team is listed below, I had to add the Arctozolt and Frosmoth myself, His main is Cloyster

A/N: Sorry this took so long!! More exams still :,) Thanks so much for this request - and no, don't worry it's not too specific at all!! I hope it's ok, but I wrote a little imagine for each instead of headcanons!

Bede and Piers with a S/O with Insomnia

It was late July and the air was warm - not uncomfortably so, but warm enough that you didn't feel that you needed to take a jacket with you as you slipped out of the bedroom that you shared with Bede. You closed the door behind you softly, doing your best not to wake your sleeping boyfriend.

You made your way downstairs, where Mimikyu sat, beside Bede's sleeping Ponyta.

"Mimikyu?" You whispered into the dimly lit room.

Its ears perked up at the sound of your voice and it squealed quietly, padding over to meet you. It followed you as you fumbled around for the key and opened the front door. The air was soft and salty - you could faintly hear the sounds of the waves rolling onto the beach.

You sighed and sat down on the doorstep, lifting Mimikyu onto your lap. It was peaceful living in Hulbury - you liked being so close to the sea.

"Y/N?" Called a hushed voice behind you.

You turned to see a dishevelled-looking Bede standing in the house behind you - still wrapped in your white duvet.

"Sorry!" You replied, sheepishly, shifting over to allow him room to sit beside you. "I tried not to wake you."

He wrapped the duvet around your shoulders, and nestled his chin atop your head.

"It's fine," He mumbled sleepily, gently scratching Mimikyu's ears. “I’m already gorgeous, I don’t need any more beauty sleep. D’you wanna talk?”

“I’m okay,” you responded. “I’d rather just sit; but you should go back to bed - you’re tired.”

“I’ll stay,” He insisted quietly, pulling you closer. “Just to keep you and Mimikyu company.”

“Thanks,” You whispered, he responded by pressing a kiss to the top of your head.

“Piers? You awake?” You whispered into the darkness. Aside from the rain against your window, the room stayed silent; your boyfriend not stirring. You were glad not to wake him - and to not have to explain yourself for getting up at such an ungodly hour. Piers had always been understanding about your insomnia, but you never wanted to disturb him while he slept.

Carefully, you untangled yourself from his arms and slipped out from under the covers. You felt about on your bedside table for your phone - and then, guided by the light from the dimly-lit screen you tip-toed out into the kitchen.

Mimikyu was awake, and it sat up as you walked into the room - it wasn’t surprised to see you awake, instead just looking pleased to have some company. It chirped excitedly, picking up one of its toy balls and scurrying over to you. You smiled to yourself and knelt down on the floor - taking the ball and tossing it across the room for Mimikyu to chase.

Maybe about an hour had passed, whilst you sat playing with your pokémon - and listening to the rain against the window. Eventually, you decided you would try and sleep again - so you dragged yourself up off the floor and carried mimikyu back to yours and Piers’ bedroom.

The room was still dark, and your boyfriend had only shifted a little in his sleep - so you climbed back into bed with ease, tucking mimikyu in beside you as it squeaked with content.

Suddenly you felt Piers’ arms wrap around your waist and you were pulled into his chest.

“Hey.” He said hoarsely. “Can’t sleep?”

“Yeah - sorry.” You replied and you felt his chest rumble with a quiet laugh.

“Don’t apologise - what’re you even apologising for?”

“I don’t know,” You admitted. “Waking you I guess?”

“Don’t worry, love.” He whispered into the darkness.

For a moment, you lay together, contently - enjoying the company of one another. Then Piers spoke, “I’ve been writing a new song - it’s not finished or anything, but-”

“I’d love to hear it.” You grinned - cutting off his sudden rambling outburst - and he laughed, relieved.

“I’ll get my guitar,” He replied.
