Hello again! I'd love to see how Finnian responds to a case he goes on Ciel with and finds a girl(who later becomes his s/o) who was tested on like him. Her abilities could be like Elsa, still uncontrolled, or she's a very strong empath and can tell when someone is lying(she's right 100% of the time). As always please and thank you!

Finnian x F!Reader

Summary: What's it like when our beloved strawberry blonde Finnian, goes on a case with his younger master and ends up meeting a girl who's been through the same things as him along the way?

Notes: Ok, so Elsa reader it is. Originally I was going to go with the second option, but that changed about halfway through writing. Also this is kind of short, and it's only their first meeting, never actually getting together. It feels so short and corny.

CW: Mentions of Finny and Reader being from a lab, read at your own risk!!

Finnian

☆ Finnian had just gotten amazing news, that the young master would be taking him along on a case. He had been given a slightly nicer set of clothing than his usual attire, the collar of the top serving to cover up the nape of his neck. He hopped excitedly into the carriage that would be escorting them across towns, eager with the chance of meeting new people along the way. An unwavering smile rested on his face, showcasing his delight.

☆ Eventually rolling into town, Ciel gave Finny a bit of time to look around while he and Sebastian got to business, ordering him a time to meet back with one another. Finny happily accepted and went on his way, skipping down the sidewalks. Some odd glances were thrown his way given his cheery demeanor, but none stopped to ask. He had brought along with him a bit of his salary in case he found something really nice around, considering he rarely spent it anyways.

☆ After strolling about for some time, he was beginning to get hungry and started looking around for a place to eat. His eyes landed on a small bakery nearby, and his decision was instantly made. He walked through the door with the 'open' sign on the front and was greeted with all sorts of enchanting smells. Just as he was beginning to look around, he spotted something that made him freeze on the spot.

☆ A young woman, who looked around his age, with a tattoo quite like his poking out from underneath her scarf. Finnian found his feet carrying him in her direction without thinking, and greeting her with a, "Hello!" You jumped at the sudden voice and whipped around to face him. "Sorry, didn't mean t' startle you ma'am. I just.." Finny paused, thinking how to go about this, "I saw the tattoo. I have one too, are you like me?"

☆ You stopped for a moment, stunned. "Uhmm.. I...." Finnian got the point of your nervous response and smiled that bright signature smile of his at you. "It's alright 'f y' don't wanna answer or anythin', I was just curious." His gaze then fell on the freshly baked good you were holding, "How about I pay for your things? Will that get y' t' talk t' me?" You chuckled at his persistence, "Sure. Thank you, and I didn't catch your name."

☆ "My name's Finnian, but my friends just call me Finny. What's yours?" he asked, his smile only seeming to grow by the second. "It's [Name], nice to meet you Finny." You outstretched your hand to shake his, which he took instinctively. A gasp left his lips when he saw the ice blooming in patterns at your fingertips, slowly making it's way to his as well. He stared in awe, with the most amazed look fallen onto his features.

☆ As soon as you noticed the icy chills spreading to him, you instantly drew your hand back with an apology, "Sorry, I still can't quite get that under control. Heh.." Your voice trailed off not knowing what else to say. "That was amazing! Maybe we could show each other more sometime!!" You smiled at his enthusiasm about such an odd topic, "I can't think of a reason not to." Just like that, the beginning of something far greater than a friendship bloomed like the ice on your fingertips.

I'm back and I have ideas: what if Finny has a hypermobile fem s/o and, the first time she and Finny wake up together, the first thing he (and possibly Bard or Mey-Rin if you want to get them in on this) hears is the sound of clicking joints as s/o stretches? Like, for s/o, clicking joints are a fact of life, so she doesn't even bat an eye at it?

First off, Finny, our sweet lil bean of joy, loves that you're hypermobile

He will kiss your joints a lot and be on stand by if it goes wrong. (I'm not hypermobile but my sister is as well as double jointed so I'm her standby)

It's early in the morning and you all are getting open slowly and you decide to stretch

Finny's staring at you half asleep in so doped in love basking in the first morning with you-

Crack

Finny blinks fast and stare more as you continue to stretch and crack

It took him a moment to react but when he did it was a million questions if you were fine and if you needed anything

He did proceed to beg you with puppy eyes and the power of cuddles to show off your "trick" to the others

Besides Joanne and Doll, @imviotrash also requested some more wholesome Finny and Othello interaction, so I decided to do a lil comic for them Bonus lil infodump: Because Finny's parents aren't that much involved in his life, he focuses more on doing things to make Othello proud instead of his parents, since Othello was more around than they were, Finny views Othello as a parental figure.

I'm Ziri, a new baby to ur blog. I wanted to say that I love the aesthetic you have, it's very cute ^^ Also, I wanted to ask for a Black Butler matchup, please, if I may? 🥺

I have brown hair with blonde tips that's just below my jaw (long story short, I wanted to dye my hair platinum blonde and gave up part way through, so the tips're all that's left) and brown eyes. I'm farsighted, so I have glasses I wear most the time (I can see okay without them, but I prefer my red ones ^^). I'm about 5' 4" tall, I'm not a healthy weight (definitely no skinny missy) but I'm not to the point of obesity... Yet... Because of that, I'm insecure about my body.

Well, I'm a bit of a klutz (I've tripped on absolutely nothing and caught myself at the last possible second on multiple occasions), I'm shy when you first meet me, but the more time I spend with someone, the more I open up and the more outgoing I am. I'm quiet most of the time unless I'm talking about something I like, then I'll ramble forever until someone tells me to shut up (or until someone looks at me weird, then I shut down with an apology). I'm loyal to a fault, do my best to remain sweet all the time (unless someone is rude, then I'll snap if I'm feeling especially sassy that day), stubborn and protective of those I care about.

My likes include music, reading, writing stories, and singing (irl, get me talking about an anime I love and I'll go off on one of those little ramble tangents I mentioned earlier XD)

My dislikes are bullies, cheaters (I've been cheated on before, it hurts), liars, and snakes (rattlesnakes in particular, I can't even look at a picture of one of those things without shuddering and they pop up in summertime where I am rn 😫)

Let's see, anything else I can tell you.... Oh! If it matters, I'm a Virgo, I adore my birthstone out of all the gems (sapphire) and I love cats and dogs (dogs for their affectionate natures and cats for their chill and attentive ways. I swear, I ever find a cat that's affectionate, I'm done for)

Your shyness won’t ever bother Finnian because he is such a sweetheart and he is so happy and so kind whenever he approaches you. If you want your quiet time then he will give you your quiet time. If you want someone to chit-chat with then he’d be there to sit with you. If you want someone to listen to you then he’d be all ears.

Soon enough you’ll find each other’s company to be the norm. You’ll have lunch together and talk about whatever is going on in the manor or really anything under the sun. As curious as he is he’d ask you about your favourite things from stories to songs.

He thinks you are the most adorable person. He also loves it when you sing. He’d hear you hum a song, if it was an accident or not he really wouldn’t care, but he’d ask for you to sing even just for a little bit.

Bonus: You and Finnian are Sebastian’s worst nightmare because of how often you almost break the fine china. You get asked to clean up afterwards if you do break any, but it’s not really a bad thing because you get to spend more time with each other : >
