Here I am walking into a bts concert for the first time , feeling a rush of excitement and anticipation as the music fills the air. As the lights dimmed and the crowd erupted into cheers, I found myself captivated by every move Jungkook made. His energy was infectious, and his passion for performing was palpable. With each beat of the music, I felt myself being drawn deeper into his world. As the concert progressed, I couldn't tear my eyes away from him. His voice soared through the arena, sending shivers down my spine. It was as if he was singing directly to me, igniting a fire within my soul. During a brief moment between songs, Jungkook's eyes scanned the crowd, and for a split second, they locked onto mine. My heart skipped a beat as a rush of electricity surged between us. It was a fleeting moment, but it left an indelible mark on my heart. After the concert ended, I couldn't shake the feeling of connection I had with Jungkook. I found myself replaying every moment of the performance in my mind, longing to relive it again and again. Little did I know that this chance encounter would be the beginning of an incredible journey. A journey filled with music, laughter, and a love that transcended boundaries.

She had a lot to think about that night.
Felix hadn’t returned home yet, and she started to worry that the fateful flying chocolates weren’t quite as harmless as advertised. The young man who’d made them, too, was swirling about her mind in a haze of schoolgirl blushes and piercing guilt.
Florence Fickelgruber had chosen her lot when she agreed to take on that name. Who was she to imagine a freer life, one of candy-coated dreams and a clear conscience, of gazes and banter with someone her own age, of running her hand through curls that weren’t slick with expensive gel? Who was she to foolishly wish for anything different, when so many people were counting on her?
She missed her home, her family, and it hadn’t been lost on her that Felix had never told her about his own background. Their wedding was attended mainly by those surrounding the Fickelgruber business, as well as another flood of press. She’d had to blink so much that day, unused to being in front of cameras after a youth spent on the stage, but her new husband had preened next to her as if this focus on appearance was where he felt most at home. She remembered the crowd’s polite cheers fading in her mind as he had slowly lifted her chin while she accepted a forkful of the most extraordinarily decadent chocolate cake.
For that day, she had allowed the feeling of his hand on her face to eclipse that of the too-rich frosting stuck in her throat.
Then he came through the door, humming a jaunty tune, and she blinked, torn out of the memory that she felt an entirely different kind of guilt for indulging in.
“Felix? Darling, where have you been?”
“Oh, don’t you worry your pretty auburn head, my songbird. The boy’s finished, absolutely finished. No one will be flying about the Galeries Gourmet if the police have anything to say about it.”
“What-what do you mean?”
“He’s disturbed the peace, made a commotion, even encouraged the-the-the unfortunate to disgrace our sacred sanctuary of chocolate. And the Chief is none too happy about it.”
“Is he?” she said suspiciously, stepping in front of him-because, up until this point, he hadn’t looked her in the eye.
Felix was silent for a moment, cacao eyes darting. His wife’s gaze was strong and unyielding-don’t lie to me again, I can’t take it-but her head tilted innocently to the side, a sort of plausible deniability.
A sort of protection.
“Yes,” he breathed with a curt nod, and took her hands in his. “I promise you, it was a solemn thing.”
“Then what were you singing as you came in?”
The chocolatier blinked again, falling into an absolutely done sort of expression, and Florence’s head tilted to the other side.
“You’ve had another musical number without me.”
“I’m terribly sorry, pet.”
“You know you can’t hide from me, Felix,” she said, something that would have been playfully teasing but held an edge of desperation that he refused to pick up on.
“It of course wasn’t the same without you,” he drawled in that ever-dramatic way, bringing her into their living room. “We’ll make it up now. Dance with me, Florence.”
He snapped his fingers, and some unseen yet attentive servant placed a needle on a record. A crooning melody started to crackle and bounce across the high golden ceilings, and Felix spun his wife into him, twirling her about with a smirk that she could only imagine to be the result of a monopoly saved.
She swayed to and fro in his arms, trying desperately to sink into the music, unable to focus on anything but the wrenching pull of her battling guilts.

Florence spent much of the next day in a state of ping-ponging worry. She’d looked intently out of the mansion’s sprawling windows over the town square, wondering whether her forbidden new friend had taken her advice.
“Just…don’t give up.”
“I wasn’t planning on it.”
And who knows what they’ll do to him now?
The hours had passed in a blur, and then she was laid limp, unable to sleep, and mentally exhausted, next to her husband and his piccolo snore.
She had screwed her eyes shut and burrowed into him, trying to force herself to feel as secure as she did two years ago; then, the slight sound of a little girl’s singing voice lifted itself into her consciousness, followed by the blare of a police car.
Puzzled, Florence carefully got out of bed and went to the window once more. The girl she’d heard was the one with the sweet smile that she’d seen in the Galeria yesterday, and Willy Wonka was next to her, warning her to run. The Chief of Police and Officer Affable faced them, but this wasn’t to last-the former seemed to tell the latter to leave, and the latter obeyed.
It wasn’t as if a switch flipped at that moment.
More like…
An extinguished candle was finally relit.
Before she could overthink herself into inaction, Wren was grabbing her robe and slippers and bolting downstairs, the snore that echoed after her serving as reassurance that she wouldn’t be found out. In her haste, she had the passing realization that this would be the first time she’d leave the house with her hair down and uncoiffed in over two years.
Through this rush, she heard the plunge of something in the town square’s fountain along with the shouts of the Chief, and she ran faster, throwing open the door just in time to see him about to club a drenched Willy over the head.
“OFFICER!”
Both men turned to her in an instant. She let out the breath she’d been holding since first hearing the girl’s voice, rolled her shoulders back, dropped into the character she’d played for the past two years, and stepped forward.
“What on earth is going on?”
They stared, each with a different kind of shock, as she walked toward the fountain. The Chief returned his nightstick to its holster.
“Mrs. Fickelgruber,” he stammered, “I thought you would have thought-well, I guess he didn’t tell-you aren’t-”
“No, I’m not thrilled about you clobbering this poor young man in the middle of the night,” she said, placing a hand on Willy’s shoulder. He looked at her, still touched with the fear of the past minutes but now grateful, and she tried not to be struck by the freckles she saw behind his water-plastered curls.
“Who said anything about clobbering?” the Chief laughed somewhat nervously. “We were just having a chat. An impactful, memorable chat. Right, Mr. Wonka?”
Willy dragged his eyes to him and held them there, a bit speechless.
What was probably three seconds but felt like an eternity of strange silence passed.
“Memorable indeed.”
“Right, then,” the Chief said. “You’ll do good to continue to remember it. Goodnight, Mrs. Fickelgruber.”
With that, he entered his car and drove away, his tail lights fading in the distance as the remaining pair stood, a little shell-shocked, her hand still on his shoulder.
“Thank you,” he said after a while, his gaze still trailing the receding police car.
“You’re welcome,” she replied, giving his shoulder an awkward pat, which made her realize just how cold he was due to the impromptu fountain bath. “Oh, God, you’re freezing. Let me…”
As he turned towards her, she looked up, trying to see through her window in the dark. She could barely make out the shape of a sound-asleep Felix, still in bed.
“Come to the office, I’ve got the key. There’s a fireplace there; you can stay as long as you need to to warm up.”
“Are you sure?”
His eyes moved up the same way, then back to her, and she shook her head as if it was the most obvious thing in the world.
“Of course.”

“Do you want anything to drink? Water, tea? Hot chocolate?”
She hadn’t turned on most of the lights so as not to draw attention, but she’d started a beautiful fire, which Willy sat by in a plush emerald-green chair. She’d rattled off the drinks on habit, but she turned to him upon saying the third, sharing his smile.
“The last one, please. But I’ll make it.”
“No, you need to rest-”
“I insist,” he said, moving to join her by the small bar in the office and searching through ingredients. “Unless that’s some sort of corporate sacrilege.”
“Making chocolate in enemy territory?”
He took a small jar of powder from his sleeve and shook it into two mugs, considering this, and his smile faltered a bit.
“Is it really that bad?” he asked. “That they’d…that they’d send the police after me? That business rivalry is thought of like a war?”
She pursed her lips and nodded solemnly.
“They…feel threatened,” she said slowly, “and, despite how professional they seem, they can’t be mature or rational about it. Apparently, you really do have the best chocolate in town.”
He neither confirmed nor denied, but gave half of a smile as he looked down at the drinks he was stirring.
“And I, for one, am quite looking forward to trying it.”
“Here, then,” he said, pulling something out of a coat pocket that had managed to escape the frozen flush. “Nothing too dangerous about this one. Just some good old Wonka magic.”
He opened his hand to her, revealing a small, wrapped treat, and she sighed.
“I’d love to, but I really shouldn’t. Not even the drinks.”
“Why not?” came the stunned reply, and she nearly laughed at just how sweetly scandalized the boy seemed to be at the idea of anyone denying themselves that pleasure.
“Milk has never really…agreed with me. Bad for the throat, and I’m a singer besides, as you know-I mean, I-well, it’s just…”
PULL YOURSELF TOGETHER.
“I shouldn’t.”
He took a moment, and she watched his eyes widen as he processed the shocking injustice of being genetically predisposed against chocolate.
“Does your husband know about this?”
“He does, but he doesn’t care. Says I’ll ‘grow out of it with time’, which I haven’t.”
“So he’s…”
“Essentially poisoning me, yes.”
They laughed a little, because, surrounded by echoes of Fickelgruber’s power, it was the only thing they could do.
Willy stared at the table for a moment, then pulled another vial, this one containing a liquid, from yet another pocket.
“Lucky for you, then, I’ve got milk made from the product of the finest almond trees on the islands of Seychelles,” he said as he deftly poured the liquid into her glass. “Guaranteed to go down sweetly, both on the taste buds and after.”
“...Thank you,” she murmured, touched by the gesture.
With a final flick of the wrist, he deemed the hot chocolate finished, and they each carried their mug to the fire.
“Wren,” he said thoughtfully as they sat down.
“Hm?”
She was instinctively flooded with warmth in the same way she was yesterday, though whether it was due to the stunningly perfect cocoa or hearing her name in his voice she wasn’t sure.
“Is it a nickname? Songbird, right?”
She saw in the fireglow that his face darkened a bit upon the memory of how Felix had always referred to her in the press, taking that potentially sweet title and spinning it in an almost dehumanizing manner. So someone did notice.
“Well…sort of. That was what my parents intended. They say a wren sang when I was born, so they gave me that name, and I loved it. But Felix assumed it was a nickname and suggested I should expand it; to sound more sophisticated in my performances, he said, but I knew half the reason was to fit with the alliteration. He’s always valued aesthetics above anything else.”
They were silent for a while, and the massive painting seemed to stare down at them, making the Fickelgrubers look almost menacing in the fireglow.
“That’s you?”
A moment passed.
“No. No, that’s not really me.”
Her voice was quiet, but decisive. Willy looked at her, really looked at her, and she felt more seen than she had in years.
“I want to help you,” she said.
“Hm?”
His head tilted to the side, a little stunned, and she nearly giggled as his now-drying curls flopped in front of his face.
How could anyone want to hurt him?
“I don’t know exactly what Felix and the rest have planned against you, but I know there’s something. He never really tells me anything, but I’ll…I’ll try to find out what I can, to distract him when needed. I don’t want you to be alone in this.”
“I’m not,” he said. “The others where I’m staying right now, we’re all in a rather precarious situation together, and I’ve got a few ideas, but…”
She watched the wheels turn in his mind, and after a few moments, he looked back up at her, for once lost for words.
“But thank you. Again. I’d…I appreciate it.”
“Thank you. For bringing some much-needed heart into this place.”
“I think you’ve done that rather well yourself.”
This was news to her often-guilt-wracked brain.
“...Really?”
“Well, of course. You clearly care, Wren…you’re kind, you’re poetic and talented, and far smarter than it seems they give you credit for. It’s in your eyes, too, I think. You can always tell the truth by a person’s eyes.”
Her heart had nearly stopped.
Somehow, though, she could tell that he was unaware of the full effect he had on her.
“Mr. Wonka-ah, Willy, I mean…”
“Forgive me if-I didn’t intend to-”
The clocks around the city chimed the hour, interrupting the two just as they had the day before, and the young man’s expression went from its dazed dawning to a startled realization.
“They’ll need me. Back where I’m staying, I mean.”
“Of-of course,” she said a bit awkwardly as they both stood up.
His hair had dried by now, falling in perfectly imperfect swoops around his face. He’d undone his necktie to keep its cold away from his neck, and his jacket was folded over his arm, and he was looking at her as if he hadn’t had a conversation quite like that with someone in a very, very long time.
And neither had I.
Or…ever, I suppose.
Until now.
“Thank you. Again.”
“You’re welcome. Again.”
She took a breath, let it out, and folded him into a hug, which he returned in an instant.
After two years of jutting angles and sharply possessive grasps, it was remarkable to simply, softly, hold and be held.
They bid a last goodnight before parting ways, and as she took her time walking back to the mansion, the moon seemed brighter than ever before.

If you are ARMY, regardless of whether you have attended BTS concerts in person or virtually or even if you were just watching through clips, you know the exhilarating energy that they possess. Together with that, ARMY’s cheers and sing-alongs make the environment a thoroughly different environment. 
Today marks the last day of the world tour for BTS and they were performing at the Seoul Olympic Stadium. Even standing outside, you were already alight with energy, a sea of ARMY’s waving their light sticks and singing along to the electrifying performance on stage. From the little slit along the stages, you saw Namjoon commanding the stage with his powerful presence, leading his members with equal amounts of charisma. 
Every time, you would be part of the audience - a part of ARMY. But today will be unlike any other. Today, you had fully intended to join them on stage and give Namjoon the fright of his life. 
Amidst the crowd, you were hiding in plain sight. With your own fandom and performances, it was rare to find a moment of spare time where the both of you could just enjoy each other’s presence without the worry of the future. It has been four years since the both of you have come out to the public about your relationship. Saying that there were no hard times would be a big fat lie. 
You got threats on threats, making you constantly fear for your life. But there was also a section of ARMY and your own fan base that gave a positive output. You had changed your energy from them and did your best for them. You were glad that over time, people also grew accustomed to the fact that the both of you were dating. Not to say that there were no haters but just… lesser than before. 
When you found out that your precious boyfriend and his brothers were performing in Seoul, you couldn't resist the temptation of surprising him. Of course, you had told his members and talked to the company and their managers, ensuring that it was indeed okay for the surprise to happen. Arranging the preparation with the help of BTS’s management, it was still a challenge to keep your presence a secret from your boyfriend. The boys were not the best at keeping secrets from Joon and his sharp eyes just seemed to see everything. And your resistance was diminishing by each second when you see your boyfriend performing, hot as shit and cursing his way through. 
But it was all part of the thrill. 
As the concert reached its peak and the vocal line was performing ‘Dimple’, you slinked backstage with the rest of the dancers, heart thumping with anticipation. The crowd was in a frenzy and this was the perfect moment. 
Joining the line of backup dancers as they got onto the stage, shrouded in a hoodie and a cap, the spotlight was completely focused on the vocal line, allowing you a few seconds to prepare. 
As they got to the chorus, you stepped forward, voice steady and heart full of love and excitement. The vocal line continued singing with you, harmonising their voices with yours with ease. In the background, ARMY’S cheers increased in volume as the ARMY bombs went crazy, but all you could see was Namjoon’s surprised expression. It took a moment for the realisation to set in that you were actually here. The wide smile that adorned his lips made your heart explode. 
All that waiting was worth it. 
It was unforgettable. 
You and the boys continued performing, having the best time teasing their leader during the remainder of the song. As you faced ARMY and waved your own ARMY bomb, you could feel Namjoon’s eyes on you the whole time. But he couldn’t seem to take them off of you as the crowd erupted into cheers and applause as you bowed to them. Your presence on the stage was unexpected and everybody was living off it - including him. It was the best surprise that he could have ever asked for. 
When the song ended, Namjoon ran out from backstage, clumsily tripping over himself. As he stepped forward, his hands trembled uncontrollably when he held your own. The rest of the boys were rowdy behind the both of you, shouting and teasing, revelling in the romantic surprise unfolding before their eyes. But all of that turns into the background when Namjoon looks into your eyes. All he could see… was you. 
The crowd quickly hushed as Namjoon spoke, his voice thick with emotion. “Y/N, what an announcement spoiler you are.” He laughed. “From the moment we met, from the days we spent together to the nights after every concert and phone call, I’ve always been thinking about it. You brought so much light into my life, to the rest of the boys, and to ARMY. I wanted to tell you when we decided to go on that date two days later but after this surprise, I can’t think of a better time to ask than now.”
The crowd went crazy and then went silent again. 
Tears welled in your eyes as your heart rate rose to a dangerous level just thinking of the possibility of - 
“I want to spend the rest of my life with you. I want to wake up every day with you by my side and go to sleep every night with you in my arms.” Namjoon kneeled down on one knee, an open ring box in one hand and a microphone in the other. “Will you marry me? Can you take this clumsy, absolutely hopeless kitchen man in?”
The stadium fell into absolute silence, the air tense with anticipation. 
But you didn’t hesitate. There were so many things you wanted to say but the words caught in your throat. Your mind was moving miles per second but all you could say was, “Yes! Yes, oh my gosh Namjoon, yes!”
The stadium erupted in applause and maybe you were just high from the adrenaline, but you swore that even the ground was shaking. But it was because of the cheers from the crowd and the ecstatic reactions of the rest of the members that made the moment even more unforgettable. Namjoon slipped the ring onto your finger, sealing the promise of a lifetime together. Namjoon’s hand cupped the back of your neck and brought you in for a heated kiss. 
You prepared a surprise for him but got a larger surprise instead. You knew that you were going to forever be teased on this by the boys but you couldn't bring yourself to care. It was you and Namjoon - against the world. 
As the concert continued, the atmosphere was even more electric. The unexpected love and joy in the air was palpable and your surprise appearance and engagement became the highlight of the night. Namjoon’s confession of love in front of thousands of fans marked a clear, new beginning - not just for you as a couple but for BTS and their dedicated ARMY as well. 
It was a night of music, love, and memories that none would forget.

GRACE TOUR: March 19th 2025 - SEOUL

Gocheok Sky Dome was starting to fill up nicely. Vendors were selling the last of their merch and ARMY were getting their drinks and snacks, making their way to their seats…all 25,000. Of course, there were plenty of celebrities who had turned up for what was going to be the first night of Grace Chu’s solo tour. 
Members of Seventeen, Tomorrow By Together, XG, Black Pink, IU, CL, Ateez, Twice, Ailee, G-Dragon, Jay Park were just a few names that ARMY were whispering about when they had spotted the idols in the various VIP seats. Not only that, there were entertainers, comedians and politicians who had turned out tonight. It seemed as if half of Seoul’s idol world had turned out to see what was going to become of the In My Head Tour.
As the arena was filling up, various BTS music videos with the appropriate song were played over the speakers. With most of the members still in the military, only two members were present and they were backstage enjoying the snacks provided for the main star. 
“Did you come for the food or to support me?” Grace asked, laughing in the makeup chair as she watched Seokjin fill up his plate with traditional British food. J-Hope was next to him, doing exactly the same but on a smaller plate. It was a nice distraction from the nerves that were swirling in her stomach as updates came in from Sejin about the arena capacity and who he had spotted in the audience. 
“Both!” the two men said as they sat down at the small table provided. 
She rolled her eyes and tried not to move again as the make up artist applied the make up, not a lot but enough to do give her the look she was going for. Her newly dyed blonde hair had been styled down into loose waves but pushed away from her face so it wouldn’t get in the way of anything. 
The dancers, fourteen males and seven women, were in their respective rooms getting ready as well. The noise from them was enough to drown out the noise from the crowd above, singing along to the music being provided. 
“Here she is!”
Grace glanced over, seeing Bang PD arrive with Sejin and Hobeom, all with flowers in their hands. 
“I didn’t know you were coming,” she grinned as the make-up artist paused and allowed her to jump off the chair to go hug her favourite men. 
“Of course! I’ve got a box with the two hungry men over there and a few others,” her CEO nodded in the direction of the BTS members who were currently resembling their BT21 characters with how stuffed their cheeks were. 
“One hour call,” the stage manager announced from the door. 
“You finish getting ready, boys finish that up and I’ll meet you upstairs.”
It wasn’t hard to ignore the noise that suddenly erupted from the seats as the VCR started playing as Grace crouched on the lift, letting out a deep breath as she held onto her mic tight. Her female dancers were spread onto two other lifts, all looking excited and nervous but ready to go. 
The moment 7 Rings began to play, Grace was lifted to the stage.
The roar from the crowd almost drowned out the music in her ears and from the band behind. ARMY had been waiting years for Grace to show off the skills they knew she had for a solo stage and for a solo concert. The hype around this tour had been immense, with international news also picking up on what was expected to be one of the highest grossing tours. 
From her view, Grace could see the ARMY bombs light up purple in tandem with the beat of the music and all worries and fears went out the window when she could hear them singing back to her. This was (mostly) a Korean crowd, singing in English, back to her. 
The dancers moved easily with her, especially the seven male dancers who moved past the female dancers as they had been practising for over a year. It felt complete to dance with seven dancers, making her feel like she was back with the boys again and each male dancer had been, jokingly, given their BTS equivalent. 
The worries about hitting the high notes and making sure she breathed easy felt stupid now. They flowed out with ease and while she was sure it wasn’t going to be like this for every tour, it gave her the confidence as the music and lights and VCR slipped into In My Head. 
The song choice was met with another roar of approval from the crowd as Grace moved down the stage to the start of the thrust stage where one dancer, given the nickname Jimin was waiting for her and another nicknamed Tae was waiting further down to join them. 
By the time they got to the next costume change, Grace was on cloud nine. 
Of course, they didn’t expect her to bring Butter to the stage. 
Nor did they expect her to sing everyone’s lines perfectly, stay in the centre of the formation and deliver the song perfectly.
From the VIP section, Seokjin was recording the Butter performance to send to the boys while everyone in their box sang along to the lyrics. Out of the corner of his eye, he watched as Hobi narrowed his eyes when the dance break came and remained like that until it was finished and the final verse was being sung.
“Perfect as always,” Hobi yelled over the sound of the music, giving a thumbs up to the camera with the big screen in the background as Grace rapped ‘ice on my wrist I’m the nice guy.’ Seokjin laughed and zoomed in, as the dancers formed their ARMY sign with Grace at the end, throwing a finger heart to the camera. 
By the time the concert was over, ARMY had been left on the biggest high. It had been awhile since they could sing and dance along to BTS’ songs in a concert environment and Seokjin could hear them as they began to leave once the lights came on and staff were directing them on where to go. 
Backstage, Grace found herself covered in the arms of her parents. 
“We’re so proud,” her mother cried as her father patted her head. 
“Mum, let me go, I’ve got to get this makeup off,” Grace laughed but hugged her back all the same as she watched her father then shake and hug all the dancers as they headed towards their respective changing rooms. 
Everyone was happy, content and more than made up that the first concert had been a success. The noise down the corridor from stage hands, HYBE management, staff, make-up artists and the like was louder than the ARMY’s singing as they left. 
“Ah who needs BTS when we’ve got Grace Chu,” Hobi laughed as he entered the dressing room, arms wide open which Grace all but bounced into. 
“Did I do okay? Are you happy?” she asked her dance captain, who threw his arms around her and spun her around the room.

You’re not surprised your friends bailed on you when the choice came up between Angel Tribute and Mavis McAdams, but you’re still disappointed. They knew the band –a deceptively named trio of three artists Mavis, Makena, and Adam– topped your list of favorite bands ever. But they were smaller than Angel Tribute, so when push came to shove, you were left on your own to see your favorite group. And you hated being alone. 
Especially right now, when you are positive that Jeon Jungkook of BTS is standing right in front of you.
You didn’t think anything of him at first. He was just another body in the space around you where you’ve found a little area for yourself, not up in the pit but a little further back where there’s breathing room. It wasn’t so crowded back here, and you liked the flexibility of being able to stand or sit; there was only one row of seats in front of you before a small aisle, which kept you from feeling too trapped. But you were still close to the front, close enough to feel a part of the music, and you’d been happily swaying and singing along under your breath to the first song when he slid into the space directly in front of you, joining the man who had already been there.
The man you were now convinced was a bodyguard. Or maybe a manager? An assistant? You didn’t actually know how those things worked. Before you recognized him, neither man meant anything to you except that now you were annoyed that your view was blocked. 
Just as you considered leaning forward and asking them to leave a little space for you to see through, the newly arrived man had looked to the side and– ok, you didn’t know which thing it was that had made you suspicious, but the combination of a few things had. The face mask and snapback hadn’t, there were plenty of people around these days in such attire, but the profile even with the mask had made you pause. The earrings in the ear –well, you were at a music festival, but regular guys didn’t usually have so many hoops. You wouldn’t even admit it on your deathbed but the freckle on the side of his neck made you start to suspect– and then the eyes. The eyes in the shadow between hat and mask had to be him, you were 98% sure of it. 
Instantly you abandoned your idea of suggesting they move. They didn’t need to move. For just this moment, you were perfectly ok with Jeon Jungkook of BTS blocking your view as you mulled over your options. You could obviously ask for an autograph, but the thought of doing so flooded you with embarrassment. You certainly wouldn’t ask for a picture, even worse, but taking a sneaky photo to keep as a memento just seemed so creepy and invasive. 
The other option, and the one that seemed best to you, was to pretend you did not know who he was and enjoy this moment of your life in which you were going to enjoy a Mavis McAdams concert staring at the back of Jungkook’s neck. He had a really nice neck. He must have had a haircut recently, the hairline was really neat. You missed the long hair but it seemed to grow quickly for him and he’d gone that route multiple times so probably it would be long again soon. It was good you weren’t seeing it long. That would be too much for you to stay chill about.
A new song started, an old favorite of yours, and you sang quietly along –much more quietly than you had a moment ago since the voice of a generation was standing in front of you. But it must have been loud enough to embarrassingly draw attention, or maybe it was the dance moves you couldn’t quite help because you just really loved this song. Your eyes were closed, you didn’t think you’d accidentally hit him, but when you opened your eyes you realized he was looking over his shoulder.
At you.
You bit back the squeak of surprise and tried to just casually lean around him to see the band, as if you didn’t notice him at all.
“You can’t see.” 
Of course you didn’t assume he was talking to you, but when he said it again with a sort of flapping hand gesture in your direction, you realized he really was addressing you.
“Uh… well… no…”
He laughed and nudged the bodyguard, saying something rapidly in Korean that you couldn’t hope to follow with your handful of phrases. The bodyguard nodded and shifted over, leaving a clear space for you to see through.
“Oh, thank you.” You gave an awkward bow before regretting it; it felt like you’d just admitted you knew who he was and were familiar with Korean culture just because of liking K-pop and k-dramas. Which was the truth but god, embarrassing.
Jungkook and the bodyguard nodded and the next song starting grabbed their attention away from you.
It was definitely more enjoyable to actually be able to see the performance and you marveled at his thoughtfulness for even noticing. Even when more people packed into the seats, the bodyguard kept the space in between them clear for you. It was a little annoying though because while you were happy standing and dancing, the people around you were dancing a little more wildly and kept bumping into you, disrupting your enjoyment. You tried to ignore it but a particular hard jab in your back made your voice hitch as you were singing.
Jungkook glanced back at you, chin tilted up to see you under the brim of his hat. He beckoned with his hand like it was a rush and pointed down at the seat in between him and Bodyguard.
What the fuck.
In no world would you refuse to take him up on that though. With a mixture of relief and abject terror, you stepped over the back of the seat, flattered when the bodyguard held a hand up to steady you as if you were one of his charges. He asked Jungkook something that was dismissed with a shake of the head. Maybe an offer to switch seats? Jungkook didn’t think it was necessary? You didn’t care if you projected that all over them. 
It was like fireworks going off in your head as you tried to play it cool and focus your enthusiasm on the music. There was more space to move here without bumping or getting bumped. Jungkook was vibing too, swaying and grinning, sometimes singing along. You tried not to look at him and be awkward but occasionally you’d feel his grin and glance at him. The eye contact made you both laugh. The singing together, the dancing, you were at this concert with him. The craziness of it didn’t quite fade away but it shifted into something more joyful and less shy. He wasn’t an idol right now, he was just another fan, and meeting someone else who knew all the lyrics to the B-sides was really exciting as a music lover.
“You like this song? You know it!” he beamed, like he was impressed by your knowledge, like he was thinking all the same things right now.
“I can’t sing well, sorry, don’t listen to me!”
“No, it’s good. You are good. It’s very cool.”
You didn’t think your singing was good nor cool, especially not to someone who sang like Jungkook, but it was kind of him to say so. It made you feel less self conscious about relaxing and enjoying yourself. Why not? Ok, your singing was fine, and it was all in good fun because you were just enjoying the music, just like he was. It wasn’t worth being nervous over.
The songs played out and before you knew it, they were announcing their last song. You couldn’t help the groan of disappointment.
“Are they your favorite band?” Jungkook asked you. “I like them so much.”
“They’re definitely one of them. I’ve seen them twice before but never at a festival like this. The first time was in this really small venue, it felt so intimate.” You broke off, realizing you were rambling, but how could you not?
“I love them too. I saw them one time. They opened for…” You couldn’t hear who he said over the surge of music and the crowd but nodded anyway. A fan. He was a fan and it was really cool to know that about him, for him to share that love with him.
Halfway through the song, he leaned around you to say something to the bodyguard, then pulled his mask up. You could tell instantly by his body language he was leaving, probably before the band finished and the crowd around you looked somewhere other than the stage. He might get swarmed. You understood but hated for everything to be wrapping up already.
You certainly didn’t expect him to nudge your arm and lean down to say, “Come on, let’s go.”
“Huh, what?”
He lifted his chin again to look at you and his eyes were sparkling and ok look, you weren’t going to tell him no. So you pulled your bag onto your shoulder and shoved your water bottle inside, checked your pocket for your phone, and followed Jungkook and his bodyguard.
Obviously you had no idea where you were going so you stuck close, fully expecting the bodyguard to shove you away at any second. Or someone else to materialize and do it, a manager or something. But no one did, and that’s how you wound up following Jeon Jungkook to the backstage area. The guards at the security checkpoint waved him through and you as well when Jungkook said,
“She’s with me, bro.”
God I wish.
He paused to look around and spoke with the bodyguard for a moment before leading the way to a tent behind the stage McMavis had just performed on. You could hear the crowd cheering for the encore as you followed but as much as you regretted missing it, you wouldn’t have missed this for the world. You looked around in surprise, recognizing a few other VIPs, but you didn’t want to get left behind and unceremoniously kicked out.
The bodyguard grabbed two waters from a cooler and handed them to you each and your Korean gamsahamnida made them both grin.
“You speak Korean?”
“No no, that’s all I know,” you quickly said.
“I will say ‘she is my translator.’”
“Your English is really good. You don’t need one, huh?”
He tugged his mask down so you could see his grin as he laughed, “Ok, thank you. It’s not very good but thank you.”
“I think it is.”
The bodyguard got his attention and you both looked over to see McMavis moving towards a tent further aware, bouncing around and amped from their show.
“Ah, ok. It is embarrassing if they say no,” he told you before setting off after them. Say no to what?
There wasn’t long to wait to find out. They’d just collapsed on the couches in their tent as a stage manager told them they had twenty minutes to decompress until their fan-meeting event; you could see and hear them through the gauzy curtains as Jungkook’s bodyguard said something to the woman by the entrance.
“Yes!” Mavis shouted. “I heard that! BTS? Someone from BTS is here?”
Jungkook gave you a nervous smile like he was nervous about meeting them. You just followed dumbly along as he ducked into the tent, nodding and bowing as Mavis, Makena, and Adam all jumped to their feet to greet him.
“She is my translator,” he said without forgetting you. “Also a fan. Me too. Your show is so great.”
“Yes it was really wonderful. You’re amazing live,” you gushed. Secretly praying no one was about to ask you to translate anything. Oh god. Would Jungkook play along if you had to speak fake Korean to him? Would you just give it up and confess? You thought he wasn’t capable of lying so why was he lying right now?! What the hell??
No one cared, clearly. They were too busy gushing over Jungkook, the artists all trading praise, talking about other acts at the festival. You felt simultaneously like a third wheel and perfectly at ease, because despite your expectations, no one was actually shooting out god-rays right now. If you didn’t know how talented and famous these people were, they were just people raving about music they liked, enjoying a beautiful day at a music festival. How could this seem so normal and so surreal at the same time?
Probably because he’d marked you as a translator you were mostly ignored, which was fine by you, but occasionally Jungkook would gesture to you as if prompting you to say something and include yourself. You mentioned the other shows you’d been to. You answered what your favorite song was and flustered when Jungkook nodded, “Me too. It’s mine too.” 
All too soon, their manager was telling them they needed to get to their fan meeting. You leapt out of the way as the band members and Jungkook assembled for a photo without any prompting, like it was just something they were familiar with. You almost offered to take it but an assistant and Jungkook’s bodyguard had it covered.
Jungkook reached forward, grabbed your wrist, and pulled you into the frame after they’d already taken a couple. You had half a second to wonder oh no am I going to get doxxed on the internet if these photos make it online before deciding you didn’t give a shit. That wasn’t real right now. What was real was that Jungkook had been thoughtful enough to include you.
Belatedly you realized you hadn’t taken one with your own phone but the band was already saying goodbye, their manager ushering them away. They hadn’t even really taken their break and there were other people lingering outside the tent trying to get their attention but it was obvious to you they had spent their time exactly how they wanted to. ARMY were everywhere, after all.
You, Jungkook, and the bodyguard moved out of the tent and you realized awkwardly you didn’t know what to do now. The obvious thing was to go but it’s not like you wanted to go.
“I have to go,” Jungkook said, looking at something on his phone. He thrust it towards you and you were confused enough to take it from him. He had it open to the New Message screen, cursor blinking in the “To:” field.
“I will send the picture.”
“Oh! Right.” Yes, of course, obviously that made sense. You typed your number in and handed it back. 
“Ok, goodbye. I have to go but just wait, ok? I will send it.”
“Yeah, of course. Sure. And oh my god, thank you for bringing me back here and um, enjoy the rest of the festival!”
He was laughing and you didn’t quite know why but he smiled and nodded and pressed his hands together, “Yes. Thank you. Have fun too. Talk back to me.”
You nodded. He was gone so fast, bodyguard closing behind him as he set off. He did look like he had somewhere to be. You did not and your mind was blown about this whole thing. You were too flustered to even think about the fact you were unsupervised in the VIP backstage section right now. 
Paranoid you were going to get kicked out since you didn’t have a lanyard anyway, you walked quickly out of security and didn’t stop until you’d found a place you could step out of the way and guzzle the water bottle. You pulled your phone out of your pocket to text your friends, or at least see if they’d texted you.
You did have messages, but not from your deadbeat friends. Already! You already had a message!
[unknown]: what is your name?
[y/n]: y/n
[JJK]: ok 
[JJK]: [group photo]
[JJk]: thank you for hanging out
[y/n]: no thank you for taking me backstage with you! It was a dream come true to meet them. that was really thoughtful and cool of you even just to make sure I could see
[JJK]: the view is important at a concert so we both had a better view
You froze. You stared. 
No. Was he… flirting?!!? Impossible. You must be misunderstanding. You had to be misunderstanding!
[y/n]: It was perfect
[y/n]: thank you for trusting me enough to message me the photo but also shouldn’t you not trust people you just met???
[JJK]: why not
[JJK]: my name is JK you can put it in your phone
Lord have mercy. 
[JJK]: I do not give my phone number but it is nice to meet you so I did
[y/n]: Nice to meet you too JK thanks for hanging out
[your friend]: hey where are you? McMavis done? You ready to meet up?
You hesitated. Your original excitement to tell them about meeting Jungkook was still bubbling, but in light of the fact he had given you his phone number and was flirting you decided maybe you wouldn’t share that part of your day with them. Not yet anyway. 
You told your friends where you’d meet them and looked at your phone again.
[JJK]: what bands do you like? Suggest music to me
[y/n]: ok you too
[y/n]: have you heard of…
Your stomach bubbled with anticipation as you went to meet your friends. Maybe this would be nothing. He’d stop texting you suddenly and that would be that. He’d get a new phone and lose your number. He’d text you for the rest of the festival but then block you and move on. You had zero expectations he would keep talking to you. Why would he?
But you hadn’t expected to see him. Or to sing and dance with him. Or to meet McMavis with him. Definitely not for him to take a photo with you –which you now had!-- and allow you access to his phone number. That gesture of faith meant so much to you. You wouldn’t disappoint him. 
You held your phone with your secret close to your chest and went to meet your friends.

The day had finally arrived - Mingi's birthday. The anticipation had been building up for weeks, and you were determined to make it the best celebration ever. With ATEEZ members being like family to you, you knew this birthday had to be unforgettable. You had everything planned out meticulously, from the surprise party to the carefully selected gifts, and even a special cake that you knew Mingi would love.
The celebration was in full swing at the ATEEZ dorm, with laughter echoing through the halls as members bustled around, setting up decorations and preparing food. You couldn't help but smile as you watched them work together, their camaraderie evident in every gesture. Seonghwa and Hongjoong were hanging streamers, Yunho was perfecting his DJ setup, San and Wooyoung were arranging a table full of snacks, and Jongho was testing out the karaoke machine - it was a true team effort.
Mingi, dressed in a casual yet stylish outfit, entered the room with a grin that lit up the whole space. His eyes widened in surprise at the sight of the decorations, and he was immediately enveloped in a group hug from his excited bandmates.
"Happy birthday, Mingi!" they cheered in unison, clapping him on the back and exchanging high-fives.
Mingi's smile widened even further as he soaked in the warmth of their affection. It was a sight that warmed your heart, knowing how cherished he was among his friends.
The party kicked off with energetic music, and you found yourself dancing alongside the members, reveling in the sheer joy of the moment. Mingi was at the center of attention, laughing, singing, and showing off his dance moves with infectious enthusiasm. Hongjoong leaned in, his voice gentle. "I think he might be missing something… or someone."
Seonghwa chimed in, his gaze flickering to you before returning to the group. "Maybe he wanted a more intimate celebration?"
Jongho cleared his throat, speaking up hesitantly. "You know, like spending time alone with Y/N."
The realization dawned on you, and you exchanged knowing glances with the members. They were right - perhaps Mingi had been hoping for a more intimate celebration, one-on-one time with you to mark his special day.
As the party continued, you found yourself being drawn to Mingi. He was standing by a window, gazing out at the night sky with a distant look in his eyes. Slowly, you approached him, a soft smile on your lips.
"Hey, Mingi," you said gently, touching his arm to get his attention.
He turned to you, the corners of his mouth lifting in a weary smile. "Hey, Y/N. Having fun?"
You nodded, stepping closer. "Of course, but I've noticed something. Is everything alright?"
Mingi sighed, his shoulders slumping slightly. "Yeah, everything's great. It's just… I guess I was hoping for something a little different for my birthday."
You took his hand, giving it a reassuring squeeze. "Tell me, Mingi. What did you have in mind?"
He looked down at your intertwined fingers, his cheeks tinted with a faint blush. "I think I just wanted to spend some quiet time with you, you know? Just us, away from the crowd, maybe watching a movie or cuddling."
A soft smile tugged at your lips as you realized how simple and meaningful his wishes were. "Well, how about we make that happen?"
Mingi's eyes lit up, his grin returning with a newfound warmth. "Really?"
You nodded, tucking a strand of hair behind your ear. "Absolutely. It's your day, after all. Let's make it memorable in the best way possible."
With that, you led Mingi away from the bustling party, finding a quiet corner where the two of you could relax. As you settled onto a couch, Mingi draped an arm around your shoulders, pulling you closer. The warmth of his embrace was comforting, and you felt his lips press gently against your temple.
"Thank you, Y/N," he murmured, his voice soft and sincere. "This means more to me than you know."
You leaned into him, resting your head against his chest, and smiled up at him. "Happy birthday, Mingi. Here's to a night of just us, celebrating you."
And as you shared quiet moments, wrapped up in each other's arms, you both realized that sometimes, the simplest gestures held the most profound meaning. Mingi's birthday had taken an unexpected turn, but in the end, it had brought the two of you even closer, strengthening the bond you shared with both each other and the rest of the ATEEZ family.

At MAMA 2017 in Hong Kong, Maya did a surprise collaboration stage with Taemin to his sing Drip Drop. She joined him in the middle of the performace and it was safe to say everyone was shocked. Exo was surprised, Wanna One was surprised, but the best reaction went to BTS.
The members either sat with their mouths open the entire performance or attentively watched everything that was happening. The most watched ones were Jungkook and Taehyung, though. Taehyung had a shocked expression on his face the entire performace and Jungkook could not close his mouth for god sake.
Jimin was hyping his bestie Taemin up and Hobi seemed very impressed with the dancing and stage presence of maya, the choreo being completely different than what she normally does with Twice.
Yoongi bopped his head to the song and Namjoon and Jin attentively watched, visibly enjoying the unexpected collaboration.

At the end of the award show, all the groups present stand on the stage to say goodbye to all of the fans. Twice and Seventeen were standing next to each other. Maya and Mingyu were at the ends of their groups and stood side by side with a little space between the two of them.
Dokyeom was standing next to Mingyu and kept secretly glancing at the Twice member. Mingyu noticed and gave him a teasing grin. What fans also noticed is that Mingyu grabbed Dokyeom's shoulders and switched places with him, so he could stand next to her.
Of course, Maya is not an idiot and saw them switching in the corner of her eye. She looked at Dokyeom who was already looking at her and gave him a slight bow of the head.

At the 2016 Melon Music Awards, when Twice were accepting their award, the camera zoomed in on Maya. The crowd started going wild, but Maya seemed clueless as to what was going on. Her face came up on the main LED screen for everyone to enjoy her visuals.
The screen then cut to Chanyeol who was caught mouthing "Ah.. she is pretty," before noticing he was on camera. He quickly buried his head in embarrasment.

the episode started with the cast expressing that Maya had been one of the most requested celebrities to come on the show. The entire male cast showed passionate reactions to the Momo and Maya, especially Key who revealed his love for Twice with a huge smile.
Maya was asked to give a few words to Key before they begun the show. As she turned to him, Key took out his personal phone as if he wanted to capture her words.

I was watching Lordi's set at Wacken and there was a point where Kone just absolutely sprinted across the stage and I was wondering why it caught my attention so much.
This was when I remembered that both Lordi and Hiisi wear big ass platforms. They're not gonna run around on stage because it's not worth the risk of falling flat on your face. But Kone has sneakers and he apparently takes full advantage of that fact.
So then this made me think about what other limitations or adaptations their costumes make on their movements.
Here's a compiled list of what I've noticed thus far:
Mr Lordi moves like a pretty girl. As in, he has to use his hands like he has an expensive manicure because of the claws and he has long hair so he moves his head like he just got his hair done. And he wears platforms so he walks with purpose, though he has a wider gait. (I only noticed all this because in one interview he swished his hair out of his face and it was the exact movement I see people do as like a joke about being oh so fabulous. Man looked like a shompoo commercial model.)
Mr Lordi just can't lift his hands above his head in that costume. Watch him clap. Any other stage perform does that over their head because that's what they want the crowd to do but he always claps his hands together in front of him.
Hiisi can't really turn his head. He can tilt it side to side but he can't look over his shoulder. The spikes on the jaw, the padding on the shoulders and the big hair/head piece make it impractical. I wonder if that is a part of the reason why he moves around more carefully on stage. He can't see if Kone is right behind him or not.
Mana just can't really open his mouth with that mouth piece, can he. Bummer.
Hella's teeth and mouth are painted over (Barbie style) so she can't really open her mouth wide either. This is an odd choice, considering she does sing backing vocals on stage.
Also Hiisi sometimes exaggerates the movements of his mouth. (Kone also does this but notably less.) Probably because it takes a lot to move the giant jaw piece on his chin. Look at the moments where he's singing into the microphone and compare them to parts were he's moving just to perform. When he's actually singing the jaw on his costume moves notably less.
Mana has visibly the highest range of motion, which is understandable if you've seen his drumkit. He needs to move his body a lot of ways.
Hella also has theoretically very wide range of motion, but I imagine a full body suit that is also sweaty will bunch up in all sorts of uncomfortable ways, so she doesn't move around that much.
Mr Lordi has great posture. He has such heavy pieces wrapped all across his torso, I wonder if the work kind of like a corset in that he can't really bend and so has to have good posture, or he is just mindfull of the wear and tear those movements would cause on it and so keeps his posture good as a choise.
Hiisi, Mana and Kone all manspread like crazy. I imagine that is what happens when you have a costume that is not dissimilar to protective hockey gear.
Additionally, Hiisi's costume does have gloves like Mr Lordi's, but he doesn't wear them on stage. Probably because how in the fuck would you play bass with those paws? Realy badly, is the answer. You can see evidence in the Dead Again Jayne muisc video bts. That man (moster?) is not playing that bass.
They spend quite a lot of time in costume, so I imagine most of this stuff comes like second nature after a while. Like a person who regularly gets manicures doens't really think about the way they have to use a touch screen with long nails.

127's 3-d concert tour has started in Seoul with 3 concerts in a row.

I talked a lot how Link was a fanmeet with starved after the pandemic fans rather than a concert, there was close to no preparation, nothing but neos themselves for the offering. Therefore I had been looking forward to the next tour and how SM 3.0 will do. Well, they didn't dissapoint. How well the concert will be transported abroad remains to be seen, at least at home a show was delivered.
Many songs were rearranged. Favorite got orchestral version. Lasers, lightshow were used a lot. Special props: real "firetrucks" and vapor guns for Firetruck, a central stage with moving platforms, a big curtain for Misty, rose petals for Favorite, etc. Good costumes, bright and stage worthy. A lot of live singing. Neos performed at different ends of the stadium, came down to interact with the fans, Doyoung even climbed to the restricted view section. I haven't seen complains about members not being shown on big screens during their key moments, so the camerawork and directing were OK as well.
This time, because it was the last tour before the guys going to the military one by one, there were no solo or unit stages. Doyoung proposed it, which was shown in the bts from the discussion of the plans for the tour, and, naturally, he got hate for it. Mostly from Tae's solo stans.
Taeil didn't participate due to his injury. It was announced some time ago he won't be present in Japan next year as well, so it is safe to say he is going to miss the tour entirely. Unless there will be Unity+ with a changed tracklist in the very end? His parts were covered by different neos. Doyoung had twice the number of highnotes.
Superhuman was performed. Koreans cheered.
Neos had muscat grapes and other snacks as replenishment on stage. Which was a good idea, sugar is needed for tired muscles. Chocolate and grapes are quick to provide it.
Dreamies, NCT new team and Johnathan came on the 3-d day. You can bet Doyoung invited him. He also gave tickets to Inkigayo staff.
Neos had personalised plush star pendants as Fact check theme. Taeyong lost his and Yuta threw his star into the crowd. Which was a problem as the toys were unreleased merch. Neos also advertised some funny hats. Haechan threw his... again, wrong move. Doyoung from the stage and the managers in the audience had to ask to return the items.
A JaeDo moment was posted on 127 IG (stories) although it was easy to cut it (it was at very the beginning of a long video).
JaeDo didn't have individual sections for them in the script, except singing parts, however, they continued to interact in a mild way, similar to how they did in 2022. Jaehyun joined other neos to tease and used opportunities for quick interactions.

BTS’ Suga Holds His Own in Moody, Theatrical Concert Debut

For Suga of BTS, D-day arrives with a storm of thunder and lightning amid a purple haze. At the opening of his Agust D tour at New York’s UBS Arena, the rain heralds a bold, and oftentimes fiery, two-hour testament to his artistry and drive. The tour kicked off on April 26 and will continue across the U.S. through May. Suga’s solo spot is the first tour by an individual member of the history-making South Korean group, and he’ll spend the rest of the spring touring across Asia. On the second of his two nights at UBS, April 27, Suga spent his time on stage rapping, singing, and ruminating on the different facets of his career thus far: Suga of BTS, his alternate persona Agust D, and himself, Min Yunki.
The concert unveils itself like a noir musical. Each segment has its own subtitle — Yunki “exists in memory,” while Suga is “lost in memory,” and Agust D is “the Chaser” — and with each set, K-pop star, hip-hop producer and citizen of the earth all come to the forefront, bookended by the incensed opening song “Haegum” and culminating in the very-fitting finale of “The Last,” for which Suga sits on stage and is captured from all angles on nine shots, portrayed as surveillance footage.
The show’s title comes from Suga’s persona as a soloist, and arrives after he has declared the end of his Agust D trilogy with this month’s “D-Day” album, and the multiple aspects of who this individual is, was, and will be is the prevalent theme throughout the night. Do you face down your past by putting it on-screen and staring it down? Do you sacrifice it on a pyre for your present self to thrive? Do you relive it? Do you forget it? Suga spends the show exploring all these sides, with burning, raging energy and show of his musical and performance skills, honed through a career that began over a decade ago.
The performance is almost an exorcism of sorts of all the tough times and harsh feelings, with the star declaring an end to the rage, even as he showcases it. “As you know, many of my solo songs are quite intense,” he declared to the crowd. “But from now [on], I want to tell my stories with less anger.” The setlist presents the BTS member off at his fieriest, oftentimes literally with roaring fire and firework pyrotechnics bolstering the most intense moments. Anger has shaped a lot of Agust D’s music, as relayed by the way boisterous, candid aggressiveness of songs shape most of the show, with his “Cyphers” and a run through of “UGH!,” “Ddaeng” and “HuH?!” especially to invigorate the crowd of ARMY. But softer moments include a version of “Seesaw” he performs while strumming a guitar inlaid with traditional Korean mother of pearl patterns and covered with the signatures of the other BTS members, and a poignant memorial to late music icon Ryuichi Sakamoto ahead of “Snooze,” on which the two collaborated along with Woosung of Korean band the Rose.
Ahead of Suga’s performance of “Snooze,” a video plays showing Sakamoto and the rapper with one another, working on music together. It looks like a grandfather with a grandson, a generational torch being passed, and it feels only fitting when considering the Agust D tour is a celebration, a commemoration of all Suga has accomplished since he began pursuing the fraught path of being a professional musician and has now reached such immense heights. This is highlighted during “Amygdala,” a raw reflection from “D-Day” recalling many of the hardships that have brought Suga to where he is, relayed in the concert with on-screen effects showing the star as a shattered individual.
While it has all the technical value of a typical BTS performance, Suga’s Agust D show is a bit different than what people may imagine from the first solo tour by a member of a record-breaking and hit-making boy band: he is in comfortable clothes, barely dances — though is bolstered by a great team of backup dancers — and at times dips below the stage’s view to sit in a lounge area, where he rests in an armchair and plays piano. It has the feel of an intimate dinner-theater performance, but elevated to an arena.
Seeing as this show was his solo debut as a live artist, Suga more than held his own physically, and even told the crowd he was a bit concerned about how his condition would hold up for a second night. “I was quite worried before I came on stage today,” he shared. “But was today okay?” The crowd’s roar of approval make it clear that Suga was certainly more than okay.
As the night came towards an end, Suga closed with some comforting parting words to his fans: “I promise, I guarantee, I will come back. So please be there then like you’re here with me now.”

I have been a huge army since they released their first song. Even though I was really young back then , I remember the amazement I felt while listening to it. Just a week ago, me and my bestie bought tickets for their concert. Omg I am so excited! I can't stop thinking about the idea of meeting them in real life.
A week later...
This day finally came! Right now I am standing in front of my closet and trying to pick an outfit for today's concert. I have nothing to wear. I finally decide on the BTS top I have and a pair of jean shorts. I wait for my bestie to come over to my house and go together to the concert.
Me and Jennie entered the concert stadium, both excited and nervous. I couldn't believe I was actually meeting them.
After an hour of waiting in the stadium, BTS finally appeared on the stage looking at the huge crowd. All the armys shouted and then BTS started singing to "boy with love".
Me and my bestie started singing too and tried to get BTS's attention. Sadly all the armies had the same plan and no one noticed us.
The time passed and BTS started singing to the last song of their new album. On the one hand I was happy that the concert had come to an end because after the concert BTS would have their fan meeting and all the armies would have the opportunity to meet and talk to them. On the other hand,I was sad that the concert would end because I knew that I couldn't meet them again.
After the song ended, BTS went backstage to get ready for their fan meeting. Me and my bestie were screaming loudly because we knew that the time we had waited for months finally came and we quickly went to the fan meeting room.
BTS arrived later than we actually expected and looked kinda tired because of the long lasting concert. Me and my bestie waited for our turn and after a few minutes we finally saw them. BTS waved at us and we started talking to the members one to another. Then It was my turn to talk to my bias, jungkook, and I was fascinated about it. Jungkook waved at me and I moved towards him, suddenly I slipped on the wet floor and fell down. Jungkook looked at me worried and surprised he helped me stand up and asked me if I was okay. I was shocked for a little while when I realized what was actually happening. It took me a few seconds to respond and then I said "yes I am fine thank you for helping me". He smiled at me and then said" it was nothing how are you feeling today?"
" I am really excited, I've been waiting for this day for months" I say.
" I see that" he says while laughing
He asks me about my favourite BTS song, my bias, about the time I started stunning them and a lot of questions. Unfortunately, the time passed faster than I expected and it was time to goodbye him. I was so sad and happy at the same time because I knew I was one of the few armies that had the opportunity to meet the BTS members face to face, but on the contrary, I was sad because I knew that this moment came to an end.
Me and my bestie leave the stadium sad but proud and we start planning about the next time we are going to meet BTS members. Even though we knew that the next time we were going to see them would be away from now, we never lost our hope. We were checking their events on a daily basis.
I will never forget that day. It is one of the most remarkable moments of my life. It still seems like a fairy tale to me or a fake scenario I thought about. But I know it is real. Everything from this day is real.
And yep... I am still searching for their events and planning to go to their new concert in 8 months. It would be a long time but I am not disappointed about it because I know that the moment I see them again I will think that it was worth the wait.

I love how we are all melting at the thought that Hobi points to him in the crowd and sings "What's my safe Zone." But God forbid that we make actual edits of moments he's been the safe Zone for other members, moments where his mere presence and proximity to a certain member has had a visceral calming effect on that member. moments this member has deliberately sought him out among the lot for comfort because he has such an impact on him.
Oh God forbid we say that this member that everyone swears is the safe Zone for others, the emotional blanket Santa Claus ACTUALLY HAS HIS OWN SAFE ZONE AND IT IS JUNG FREAKN KOOK.
God forbid that we point out that when JM says time and time again that the members give him strength he's mostly talking bout JK more so than V or even RM or Hobi BUT ESPECIALLY JUNGKOOK even though yes they all give him strength to. They call them platonic yet are so freakn terrified of their dynamic and can't stand them. The irony.
Y'all are going to hell if you think Hobi x Jimin is cute but can't stand min x kook. HELL.
BUT FUCK, JIMIN IS THE CROWN JEWEL. The creme de la creme of all men. The loyalty and support and effort he puts in to support his friends in and out of BTS is crazy. What a man.
I pray he gets this loyalty returned ten folds. That he gets as much as he receives cos nature got to be balanced somehow no? Just overall a very decent loving generous human being who pours into others and values human connections so much.
I'm stunned.

You were six years old the first time you ever stood on a stage. 
You had been stuffed into a tight elastic outfit made entirely of spandex, your legs covered by the sheer fabric of your tights. Your hair had been sprayed with an array of multiple different chemicals so much so that it was hard for you to breathe comfortably. Your face was heavy with makeup that itched your skin and urged you to rub it off the moment it was applied, your shoes a few inches too wide. You were uncomfortable, anxious, and perturbed. Everything was so crowded and noisy, and all you wanted was to get out of the suffocating environment and back to the safety of your mother's arms. 
But as soon as you stood on that stage, everything changed.
It was as though a flame had sparked deep within your tiny chest, and the world had turned into a paradise of your own creation. The spotlight was hot on your skin, but the crowd was dazzling and bright as you began to dance amongst the stars. 
It was a small crowd, and your performance was far from perfect. Your dressing room was dark and dingy, and could barely fit five girls at a time. Your costume smelled of cheap detergent and your makeup was peeling off from the sweat that gathered in the heat of the spotlight. 
And yet, at that moment, nothing else could have been more beautiful.
For that one singular second where you were able to perform, took up an infinite number of seconds afterward, where you began to move towards your dream. 
Dancing tenaciously for hours upon hours until your muscles could no longer sustain you. Singing until your throat grew hoarse and tired. Skipping out on meals and sleep if that meant you would have more time to train to work towards a fantasy that seemed so far out of your reach. Day after day. Night after night. All so that you could make your way back to that stage. 
And you were good at what you did. 
The crowds loved you at every talent show, you were praised after every pageant and recital, told you were talented at every choral function and competition. 
But it wasn't enough.
No matter how hard you worked, how many times you auditioned, or how many sleepless nights you wasted away in the practice room, it was never enough. 
You were never enough. 
Their praise became bitter, the joy began to die out, and soon enough the stage had become a distant dream of yours, one that you had to let go. 
But if you were honest, it never really left.
In your fantasy, the crowd's cheers became a part of your symphony, begging to hear more, to see more, to never let it end. With every being you reached with your voice, a new world blossomed, one that you were able to inspire and watch grow just as you had once before. With each beat you grew closer to the sky, and in each note you found another star to decorate the abyss you found before you. Your heart longed to make those dreams into a reality, and soon you realized that though you had tried to forget, as time passed, your desire had only grown. 
You needed the stage almost as much as you needed the very air to breathe. 
Now, you should be happy. 
You're so close, your dream is only mere moments away, and if you looked deep inside yourself you can find that your inner child is beaming. Her feet already dancing in excitement at the sight of the stage pristine and welcoming before you, the crowd outside chanting and roaring in anticipation. She whispers to you that this is the moment, this is what you've worked so hard for, the dream is so close and that stage is the key to unlocking it. 
You should be happy. 
So why does it feel like chains are beginning to tighten around your wrists? Why does your heart feel heavy?  
It makes you wonder, is it all worth it? 
Will you still want it after it's their turn to tear you apart?
"You're going to do great." 
You start a bit at the sound of Hoseok's voice right beside you and roll your eyes as he chuckles at your reaction. As he looks at you, you can't help but notice he looks so calm, almost at home in this environment. You can tell that he was born to be on the stage, that it is when he is the happiest. 
It's almost humbling to think that soon, you will be able to stand beside him, and perform on the same stage he once did, the same crowd that once cheered for him, cheering for you in his place. 
“You know this by heart." Though you smile his way, Hoseok can feel the nerves that tightly bind you in anxiety, the look in your eyes somewhat dark and distant. "If Taehyung falters, all you have to do is lead him and he’ll follow you. He’s a great performer.” 
Your current condition cannot help but worry him as he looks deep into your eyes, trying his best to unlock whatever hidden secrets you keep safely away inside. And though he tries to reassure you, he recognizes that this is not like all the times before. He doesn't know you like he thought he did, he wonders if he ever really knew you at all. 
But maybe, it is not him that you need. 
Maybe it's always been someone else.  
And as you look away, he wonders if that is who you search for each time you're lost in the unforgiving waste of your mind. He wonders if he is the water you seek, the air that you breathe, the oasis amidst an otherwise painful abyss. And though, at this moment, Hoseok may smile, he does not know why his heart is heavy, nor why he has begun to feel afraid. So when he places his finger beneath your chin, turning your face so that it only looks at him, he wonders if his fear was simply that one day you may fade away. 
As though you were a mirage only meant to momentarily ease his aching heart. 
"Hey." 
In his eyes, you find comfort and pride. They are full of a million different words he wishes he could say but was never able to. So he says them all now, through the look in his eyes, the warmth of his finger beneath your chin, the smile he wears exuberantly; his heart on the line. 
When he speaks, his words are simple and sincere just as he has always been and will continue to be. Constant and steady, an unwavering breeze in an otherwise stormy sea. 
"He won't let you down." 
And as he looks at you, you can tell that he's not talking about the stage or the performance. He is talking about your feelings, your true desire now that you have found the one thing…the one person, who was able to complete your new world.
The realization setting in, your eyes widen, and you shake your head; quick to deny what he already undoubtedly knows. 
"Hobi, I--"
"Just don't worry, okay?" You're silenced by his words, something in the way he smiles making you wonder why he seems so sad. And though you long to reach out and erase it, you can’t help but feel it would only make it worse, make it harder for him to let go. "Even if you don’t believe, everyone else does. You were made for this Yen, I can see it in your eyes even now.” 
His hands reach for yours and when you squeeze them tightly, tears build up in the back of your throat, as you realize he's been looking out for you all this time. Even now, he's trying to reassure you that everything will be okay. Begging you to trust him, to trust them to take care of everything. 
He knows that the time when you will have to stand on your own is coming, but he also knows that time is not now. So until he has to say goodbye to you forever, he will be the ground you stand on, the support you need to fly. 
“From the very beginning, I’ve been betting on you.”
Although you've never asked for it, you've always had it. 
You wonder if there will ever be words enough to express how thankful you are, and perhaps that question will never be answered, but at least you can rest easy knowing that when you wrap your arms around Hoseok, he knows all you could have possibly hoped to say. It surprises him at first, but he returns it gladly, his arms warm and safe. He smells like home and healing, and you find yourself wanting to grasp onto every piece of him before you have to let him go. 
“Thank you.”
Across the room, Taehyung watches as the two of you part. He sees the smile on Jhope's face and the tears that still sparkle in your eyes. Seeing the ease with which the two of you hold the other, the way you look so perfect together, makes him wonder if there was ever any room for him in your world. 
Hoseok glances at him and can see the doubt clear on Taehyung's face. An unsteadiness that he had never worn before, not even with the most serious of his romances. He can tell that the way he feels this time is something deeper, something different, something that he won't let slip away so easily. 
At the thought, Hoseok can't help but smile. For how could two people so clearly made for the other find themselves so close, and yet so far away? 
You will be okay. 
As Jhope picks your hand up and presses his lips against your skin, he knows this fact to be true. Almost as true as the fact that you never needed him, not really. Even before they knew you, you had stood strong enough on your own. And yet, as he looks up at your wide eyes, he can't help but feel as though you had saved each other. 
In more ways than one. 
The stage darkens to prepare for his performance and he pulls away, giving you one last look at his gorgeous smile before running back to the stage. 
All he can really hope now is that you find the one your heart calls. 
And that he answers it with the love and care that you deserve. 
When the spotlight warms his face, and the cheers nearly overwhelm the backtrack, you are left speechless at how beautiful he is. How even alone, he fills the stage, and the entire stadium with his persona, his light. It's dazzling, and you can't help but wonder if one day you'll be given the chance to shine as bright. 
"Will I be enough?"
"You already are."
At his voice beside you jump, clamping your hands across your lips as though they had betrayed you. Taehyung smiles as you chastise yourself, his heart blooming as it had millions of times before, only this time he is able to put a name to the feeling. As you look up at him with those eyes, he knows he cannot wait a second longer, and perhaps he had waited for too long already. Perhaps the two of you had been so lost within your fantasy that you had forgotten reality was created to tear you apart. 
But what is reality, what is fate, if it was not meant to be defied?
Taehyung's hand wraps around yours, and though it catches you off guard, it does not feel out of place. After all, he has held your hand countless times before, and if you were truly honest, you wish he would hold it for countless more. 
Is that foolish? 
He pulls you to the side of the stage, behind a couple of curtains where he can speak to you privately. A secret space where the two of you can coexist in the world you had already begun to create together without anyone else coming in to destroy it. 
At first, the urgency startles you. The way he’s looking into your eyes driving a strange type of fear into your heart. He's looked at you many times before, but this time it's different, almost clouded. You don't want to try and pick it apart, for what if once you do, it is not something you want to see? 
And what if it is? 
What if it is everything you've ever wanted?
Somehow that thought is scarier than the first. 
"Tae, what are you--"
"I love you." 
The phrase shakes you to the core, and you wonder if you misheard him. 
But then you see his sincerity. 
Is this real?
“W-what?”
His eyes are full of a mixture of emotions, too many to name and too many to count, but all of them mix together to create a galaxy of stars.
Stars that were created because of you. 
“I know I’m selfish and I know that being with me would only hurt you, believe me, I know, but I..." They shine bright as he looks at you, and you wonder if this is what it means to be someone's entire world. He's always been yours, but you hadn't realized till now just how much of a mark you had made, you had never dreamed it to be possible. "Ever since the first moment I met you, I couldn’t get you out of my head.”
"Taehyung..." You whisper his name, finding that it is the only thing you can say, your heart beating too fast and too loud for you to make much sense of anything else other than the fact that he loves you. 
Taehyung looks at you, and he wonders if it's okay to hope that you could possibly feel the same way he does. He wonders if one day you will trust him enough to give him the key to your heart, as his already lies welcome at your feet. 
“I've never believed in destiny before until I met you."
The dark is no longer so dark, the colors are no longer dull, and the world begins to sing its own song in your soul. When he looks at you, you feel complete. The notes to your melody have been found, and he chases away every fear and doubt with one look your way.
"Things just never made sense before, you know? Every coincidence, every moment we spent together, it was as though some string was drawing us closer and closer together. As though we were meant to meet, as though we were made for each other, and the only thing that was stopping us before was…distance."
Taehyung wonders how there was ever a time when he could survive without you near. He wonders how he was able to be okay without you in his life. The thought scares him. If this is how it feels to love you, he can't help but wonder how it would feel if he were to ever lose you. 
"I don’t want the distance anymore. I want you beside me, I want to be with you all the time, I want to hold your hand, I want to touch your heart, I want to keep you close…” 
He takes your hands gingerly into his own, before raising them and kissing them softly. His eyelashes brush against your skin, but his lips are soft and warm, his eyes tentative and filled to the brim with hope as he looks at you.
“Now that we’ve met, I want everything, but most of all…"
You never thought anyone could be perfect, and you know that he is far from it, but when he looks at you that way, when he holds you safely within your arms, you cannot help but think he is perfect for you. That the two of you were made to find each other just as he said. The missing piece you had been searching for but never thought you would find. 
"I want to be yours.” 
He found you. 
Or perhaps you found each other.
When times were most dark, and you were suffocating from the pain, you reached out and felt him wrap his arms around you. You found that you needed him, but you never would have guessed he needed you just as badly. That your heart was made for him as much as his was already bleeding for yours. That he had given you the key to it before you even dared to ask, and had begun making your mark on his world just as he had been slowly walking into yours. 
I don't want the distance anymore.
“With you here, everything makes sense."
Is it okay to feel this joy? Is it okay for you to just give in? To lay your key at his mercy and open your heart to be hurt again? 
For him...would all that pain be worth it?
"It’s like you filled a hole that I didn’t realize I had been missing. Without you, I’m lost…and I don’t want to be lost anymore." Taehyung takes your hand and presses it against his chest, so you can feel what he feels. Marking your touch on his heart and baring his soul before you as his beats fast and wild beneath your fingertips. "So maybe destiny doesn’t exist, and maybe fate isn’t real, but if my destiny is you, then I would be ready to believe anything.” 
Yes, you're scared. Everything could fall apart just because you fell in love with him. Your dreams could be tattered, your future could crumble at his feet, all because you wanted to be his. You saw what happened when your mother ventured too far into their world, how quickly she was torn apart because she dared to feel. Every reason tells you that the risk is not worth it. 
Is there reason enough to stay away?
Your heart beats only for him. Your breath is his to take as he pleases. Your skin itches for his touch each time he is near. You no longer want to admire him from a distance. You don't want to continue to be stagnant where he is always close but never close enough. You don't want to feel incomplete. 
Your world already belongs to him.
Is it too much to give in?
“You don't have to answer now, but I’ll wait for you, no matter how long it takes." 
Before you can say anything, you hear the staff calling for you as your turn to perform draws near. Only then does Taehyung pull away from you, the space between you once more broken. You want to say something, anything, to let him know that he's already embedded himself deep into your heart; but you find that fear holds you back. 
You want so badly to let him in, but what if you get hurt again?
Would you ever be able to recover? 
Perhaps he sensed your doubt, perhaps he caught the despair in your eyes at the thought of letting you go, or perhaps he merely wanted to hold you one last time. Regardless of the reason, he reaches forward, taking your cheeks into his careful touch, and pressing his lips against your forehead in an intimate gesture that sends your heart racing. 
"If it’s too hard, then I’ll let you go." He whispers against your skin, and you find yourself leaning into him, your hands resting against his chest as he pulls you close. "I just had to let you know, at least once before it was too late.” 
With that, he pulls away, releasing you with a smile. He turns from your hiding space and follows the staff who rush him to the opposite side of the stage, while you stay where he left you, frozen. You are faintly aware of staff members taking you by the arm and doing some finishing touches to your outfit as they prepare you for your entrance on the sidelines, but it is a minor fact. For when you meet his eyes across the stage nothing else seems to matter anymore. He smiles at you, the galaxy hidden in his irises so clear, even from so far away. 
Could it be possible? 
Could the moon find a way to love the sun?
Or is this an eclipse that will soon pass?

BTS MOMENTS: Taehyung and Grace - Scandals

There was another notification from her social media in relation to Taehyung and what he had supposedly been caught doing. It had been happening a lot lately since their chapter two had started and there wasn’t a moment when her social media hadn’t informed her of something the boys were doing something fans were unhappy with.
He had been ‘caught’ smoking at the Grammy’s and now he had been ‘spotted’ with Jennie from BlackPink in Paris. Grace had made it a priority to never involve herself in the boy's private affairs until it came to the point where they came to her for help or needed to talk. She never asked questions, tried to see from both sides of the pond and tried to keep her own personal thoughts to herself. They were grown men after all.
But it was clear it was all taking a toll on Taehyung.
He wasn’t his happy self, he was quiet, tuned out and just not willing to be contacted unless it was someone he was close to. So Grace made him come over for dinner, even if it was just to make sure he ate dinner and to keep an eye on him. She would never ask, she would just wait.
“Noona,” Tae started as he pushed at the steak his noona had cooked the way he liked.
“Hmm?” she asked, glancing over from where she was putting salad on her plate.
“Do you ever regret becoming an idol?”
It was a question she often asked herself, especially during her own troubled times. When she wasn’t sure of herself, wasn’t sure of her position in life, and didn’t feel worthy to be given the career she had worked hard at. And she never had an easy and simple answer to it.
“Yes and no,” she started and sighed heavily, leaning against the chair. “I miss being another Korean in a crowd, where no one knows who I am. I miss being able to do some normal and simple things. But this career has given me so many fulfilling moments that it sometimes outweighs the bad. Helping UNICEF, watching ARMY sing their hearts out whether it’s English or Korean, being with you guys, and helping provide for my family. Yes, the lack of privacy does hurt but it depends on how you handle it.”
They were both quiet for a moment and after a few minutes, Grace reached over to gently cup Tae’s chin so she could lift his face to look at him. “Those who invade your privacy and those who talk about you on social media want one thing and one thing only - recognition. Don’t give it to them. Do whatever you want, with whoever you want. But never give in. You are one of eight, we’ve got your back. And true ARMY who have been with you from day one, they have your back. These new ARMY’s who believe what they see on social media don’t deserve the ARMY title. Just remember that.”
The Taehyung that came out of that dinner was more confident and cool, ready to take on his solo career, knowing he had his brothers and sister behind him every step of the way. Yes he would make mistakes, he was human after all, but as long as he was true to himself and what he believed in, no one could hurt him again.
