Basically if you have a player on a team where Covid is preventing them from playing on the originally scheduled matchup, if they end up playing either Monday or Tuesday it will still count for the originally planned time. So if you have chiefs/ Patriots players starting, if they end up playing Monday or Tuesday, it will still count for week 4. But if they postpone it later than that, they won’t count this week. Week 4 Waiver Wire Pickups! Priority is Justin Jefferson. He’s gonna be the Vikings WR2 going forward. He looked really good Sunday I’m expecting the Vikings to get him more involved in the passing game for sure. Carlos Hyde is a streamer flex play with Carson Out! Expect at least 1 TD this weekend! Carson out 1-2 weeks!! Greg Ward, the Eagles WRs is one of the only guys on the Eagles that can actually stay healthy! Expect the Eagles to pass to him a lot! Especially with Goedert on IR!! Murray, Alvins Backup! Pick him up if you have kamara for insurance! Burkhead looked good, if white is out again, expect Rex to be a decent flex play especially in PPR! Goat low ski= Gostkowski because he’s a goat and low percentage of people have him rostered! This guy is MR Consistent as a kicker! He underperformed last yr and week 1 this year, but He’s back and he’s only owned in 5.4% of leagues!! Grab him if you had Younghoe! Other guys to consider: TE Robert Tonyan TE Mo- Alie Cox- I like him a lot, should have put him in for Ebron oh well, I still like Ebron WR Tee Higgins WR Brandon Aiyuk WR Deebo Samuel- only owned in 70% of leagues?? Jags vs Dolphins TNF Start and Sit List for PPR Fantasy Football leagues! The Game is for tomorrow night! I’d say Fitzmagic, gaskin, and Shenault are deep league starts and probably should be sat for 8 or 10 team leagues. Preston Williams might not be a bad move either for deeper leagues but he’s been struggling a bit lately and before I start him I want to see he’s back to his old self. DJ Chark is a big name on the sit list. Normally wouldn’t say to sit but this but he’s questionable rn. I’m going to assume he’s going to play. He might not be bad to start,especially for PPR leagues. But I’d only start him in a deep league, I’d start someone else if your in a 10 team or 8 team league. Definitely keep an eye on him before game starts tomorrow. Surprisingly Gardner is a start for me. He’s looked great so far this season and I’m expecting him to have a big night against a rather poor Defense! Call me crazy but I’m starting him over Big Ben this week! Week 1 tips for fantasy. Tip 1. Start your starters- don’t mess around with the order of your lineup. I wouldn’t sit anyone you picked in the first 7 rounds unless they were injured and you know they won’t play. Ex) don’t sit Hopkins because he’s playing the 49ers. Even though he’s not practiced much with AZ, he should be good to go and I’m expecting all defense to be shaky this weekend. Basically as long as hes not injured or has Brock osweiler for a QB start him for the top guys. 2. Don’t drop anyone yet. Unless your starting RB or someone else’s is suddenly injured and you know they are gonna see a lot of carries or looks. I’m not messing with my lineup. The season hasn’t started, if your waivers are priority based don’t give up priority just yet, wait and see how your guys do. Who knows maybe that guy you wanna drop is actually gonna be a stud. 3. Check for injury updates- make sure your lineup is good to go! (Do this Sunday morning, or before all your players games). Also make sure no one is suddenly injured and if so just replace them with someone on your bench. Again if it’s a star RB and their backup is on the wire then you have my permission to grab him and drop the nobody last pick you made. Or if you only have one QB or kicker and they are suddenly injured, then pick someone else up. Otherwise, I wouldn’t pick anyone up. If you have start sit questions feel free to ask me!! Here is another draft I did for one of my personal leagues. I think I did a decent job with my first overall pick. Comment a draft grade! Ok Here’s where the fantasy community may hate me. Dont get me wrong I think McCaffrey will do great this year, but Not gonna lie I’m kind of down to trade away McCaffrey. YEA YOU HEARD ME. Im Not 100% sure I will actually go through with this because it is possibly really stupid. Also, I haven’t made any trade offers but at the same time he’s so valuable rn people would and should give you something straight up really amazing for him. Whoever you trade with should Definitely give you their first pick and their second rounder for him. Not just anyone tho. They should be worth it. This is ultimately bc: 1. The Panthers aren’t running the same offense they did. If you listen to my latest podcast ( link in bio) I talk with a Panthers fan about how they just got a new HC, new OC and new QB which likely means they will try something a bit different in terms of Offensive scheme. Im not saying they will not still throw to McCaffrey a lot or that he’s not gonna be the best back in the league, but he won’t be the Panthers entire offense this year... or at least I don’t think he will. It should be different though. 2. You have to think as healthy as he is, everyone is injury prone or even Covid prone this year. Not saying he will be injured or get Covid but it’s possible. I don’t know the protocol is either, but what happens when someone does get Covid in the NFL? If they are out for a week of two, will they have to sit another week or two till they can come back?? So If your team is riding it’s back entirely on CMC just be careful. 3. To me it’s gonna be hard for him to do an exact repeat from what he did last season. He should still be a great RB. Just see my crazy logic. This would be the time to do it because of the huge expectations everyone has for him too. Other than my crazy CMC trade idea, back to my draft I will say, I do feel like I reached for a couple risky picks. But we will see. The Super TE Draft Strategy! Yes, It’s bold, but I kind of Like it and I don’t normally draft TEs before the 6th round. Now I’m not saying do this with whatever pick you are because this isn’t necessarily smart. In fact I would only recommend trying this if youre the last pick or close to the last pick. But i will say this does have the potential to be a decent team. Obviously you don’t have to go with these exact players I did but those are some guys I like. TBh If RBs Carson or Taylor weren’t available I’d be happy to take someone like Gurley, David Johnson, or James Conner. The ideal situation for this strategy would be to get a RB first round, then a TE, then get the other TE in the third. But this just secures you get both or at least theres a better chance you get both. Also there are a fair amount of deep WRs. In PPR I’d look at Woods, Kupp too if not the guys I listed in the 5th or 6th round, and Diggs or Marquis Brown possibly in the 7th. You could really take Jamison crowder in place or Julian Edelman Too. Overall, you do you. Have any draft questions? The 2nd Year Draft Strategy! Here’s a draft strategy for ya if you haven’t already drafted! As you can see it’s not half bad! You got a lot of upside if you are lucky enough to get these picks! I tried it out for myself in a 10 team PPR mock and the one main flaw is RB area and depth. It’s possible for you to take both Jacobs and Sanders but Boy is it tough! If you can you’re well on your way! As you can see in the mock on the next slide, I could not get both, so that wasn’t good, but I still like The backs enough to make it doable. The good: the best upsides have to be WRs and QBs in this strat. You can easily get these guys too. The bad: The RBs and TEs. Not too many Good RBs unless you’re lucky to get Jacobs and miles. If not, you need to get Monty even tho he’s injured. And there’s still a bit of upside on Henderson and singletary if you can get them too. (They’re low grabs too especially with Montys injury and Singletary’s apparent terrible case of the fumbles in TC. As for TEs they’re both sleepers. Use it or don’t, I think it’s definitely not the worst strategy in the world.
