They had discussed it, and decided they didn’t want to tell anyone for a while. Remus because he still couldn’t believe he was dating Sirius Black, and Sirius because he enjoyed having Remus all for himself. So they agreed on keeping their relationship secret while they figured this whole dating thing out.

The very first day of their secret relationship, James had to crawl out of the dorm they had thought was empty enough for an impromptu makeout session.

The first week of their secret relationship, Peter quietly levitated a chair to strategically block from view the fact that Sirius’s hand was resting on Remus’s thigh in History of Magic.

The second week of their secret relationship, Lily redirected a bunch of first years away from the library shelves they were passionately kissing behind.

The third week of their secret relationship, Marlene walked singing out loud on the Quidditch pitch, giving them enough time to get dressed and sneak out of the showers.

The fourth week of their secret relationship, Mary broke a pot in Herbology to startle them back from looking deep into each other’s eyes instead of pruning the Bubotuber.

The fifth week of their secret relationship, Peter got their Potions essays in order since both their owners were off doing who knew what (they all knew what).

The sixth week of their secret relationship, James had to swim further away than usual to avoid coming out of the lake right by where they were putting flowers in each other’s hair.

The seventh week in their secret relationship, Professor McGonagall flicked her wand and conjured a velvet curtain to keep the alcove they were making out in from prying eyes.

The eight week of their secret relationship they walked up to their friends in the Common Room hand in hand and finally told them they were dating. They got loud cheers, good wishes, hugs, kisses, enthusiasm and were urged to enjoy the empty dorm, that James and Peter were more than happy sleeping by the fireplace for one night.

The very first day of their official relationship, both Sirius and Remus wondered why all of their friends were so hangover at breakfast. From the main table, Professor McGonagall gifted them with one of her rare smiles as Professor Dumbledore counted the Galleons he was putting in her hand.

#sorry im thinking abt death again #because it's weird to think that ive been in the room. maybe a meter away from someone as they died #that someone being my mom. its just weird. the time in the hospital feels like it happened in some dark little pocket universe detached from #time. a calm room and then the soft blips of a monitor then the nurse rushing in to say she'd passed #i dont kno y ppl use that phrase: passed on. i mean i do. it softens the topic. makes it sound peaceful. ive yet to use it. i just say she #died bc thats what happened. is that insensitive? i dunno. when i was home i realized that i come off as much stranger than i think. the way #my family see me doesnt fit how i see myself. i dont kno what to do with that. i dunno. theyre all together today #for an early easter. and im halfway across the country again. nose so stuffy ive had to mouth breathe for the last 3 days #and again. everything feels the same as it did before but also profoundly different. sometimes i cry in the mornings. or when i think abt #future vacations she wont be there for. bc in the end she quickly slipped away in a way that couldn't be described as peaceful until her #last half a day. and all i can think about in that tiny room is how scary it would be to lose control like that #and how its not fair and she didnt deserve to die only halfway through a lifetime. but its not about fair and its not about deserving. #sometimes bad things just happen. that's life. and now i own a book called motherless daughters. and now im standing with the countless #others who've lost their moms too early. ive already become aware of 3 ppl in my daily life who are in the same club #i keep thinking about this moment that happened between my parents at the hospital. apparently my dad was helping her get cleaned up and her #stomach was so bloated she looked like she had a bby in there. which my dad said. and my mom apparently said: but it's a baby no one want. i #dont kno y that upsets me so much. all the things i heard abt her being in the hospital before i got there upset me. and the rest of my #family was there to see it. so i have the least traumatic version of the story. and i got almost 27 years with her. except my sisters #probably got more time with her bc i spent so much time away. or maybe not. i dunno. #i dunno. im just sad that shes gone and sad that it was drawn out even a little bit. 6 days isnt long but im sure it felt like an eternity. #again not fair. nothings fair. 53 years of unfairness culminating in a tragedy. she would hate me characterizing it like that. she lived a #full life as they say. full with an asterisk on account of length #unrelated

Regarding the whole "Fandom Is An Escape, so why should I have to care this much about misogyny/racism/ableism/transphobia/etc." thing. Idk about the rest of you, but it gets kind of hard for me to "escape" when I keep seeing people say the same vile things about characters who share aspects of my identity that I hear all the time in real life.

Her growth throughout the game is so wonderful, and one thing I really appreciate in her arc is that she isn’t “cured” of her fears and lack of confidence - she continues to struggle at times, but also continues to put in the work to believe in herself!

Okay I wanted to draw this a while ago, but then I gave up, and now I wanted to try again, but...

I drew BB, JJ, and DD!!

They kinda have my own twist (and are also kinda if they were in that version of SB that I was drawing & then just stopped talking about XD) but I like how they came out!!

BB (aka Balloon Boy) hands out regular balloons, and has a system in him specifically for blowing helium balloons!! That's why his voice sounds like that (not really, I just feel like it'd be funny if breathing helium somehow messed with his voice box)

JJ (aka Jay Jay) hands out balloon animals, and other things like that (Balloon flowers, balloon hats, etc etc), and has a regular air blowing system, since she doesn't blow helium balloons

DD (aka Dee Dee) sometimes helps blow balloons... but she mainly prefers to prank her siblings, and try and pop the balloons they're working on. DD sometimes also sews stuff (like if a kid's stuffed toy ripped, she just basically approaches them with that comically large sewing needle & fixes it). But she mainly uses it to prank her siblings.

BB, DD, and JJ are triplets (in my version), and they care for each other (even if DD does sometimes play too many pranks...)

These three mainly hang out around Kid's Cove & the Superstar Daycare, but sometimes they'll roam to other spots too.

What a nice and normal drawing to post after vanishing for 2 and a half months. I'm sure there was no weird and unhinged process for figuring this pose out that entailed inventing organs that all occurred in the space of around 10 hours or anything.

#my art #original character #oc #oc artwork #oc art #I had to extend her sternum for her third set of arms #because i needed her collarbone to attach to it #but shes a contortionist and that limits movement #so my totally normal solution was making it segmented so it can move like a spine #but that means her organs are at risk of being damaged #lucky for me spiders have book lungs #which are thin air pockets which blood runs through and thats how gas exchange occurs #but spiders breathe through their skin so i couldnt just use book lungs #so i took the structure of book lungs and adapted that to human lungs #so her lungs are layered but still have the exact same function as human lungs #but her heart was also a problem because that could be damaged too #so my solution was a weird combination of octopus heart where they have a heart that pumps blood around the body and one per gill #and snake hearts where they move them to keep it safe when feeding #so she has two hearts #one that pumps blood through her lungs and one that pumps blood through her body #and because her rib cage is longer they have a small amount of room to move so they stay unharmed #i really want to look into how this will effect medical equipment like pacemakers next #as well as how limb differences will present in the multiple arms #it also means that any lung issues are less likely to be deadly as quickly because if one layer is damaged or sick it can be removed easier #anyways so I started meds yesterday and this is a direct consequence of that ♡
