~24/12/2022~ From our trip to a Christmas tree farm 🌲 ^^ When I got up the room was spinning - thought I just might have got up too quickly, but the dizziness persisted for most of the morning - turns out MCAS may have made an appearance for Christmas as I got itchy legs too :/ noticed a reaction on the backs of my hands probably to the wrist band of my non chenille gloves - been wanting to replace them but Primark only had silly colours the last time I looked. Chilled for the morning, had pizza for lunch at home, then headed out to get the bus into Worthing - mainly because wanted to read my kindle on the bus. The mothership sent me out on a mission to look for Christmas crackers as it was the one thing she’d forgotten. The bus was a bit of a nightmare - missed the one near parentals as it came 2 mins early, walked to the further away stop, missed that one by 2 mins and the next two buses were cancelled :/ so had a look round Rustington first. Got there eventually - it was good to have a mission, and the shops weren’t too busy (I often find that’s the case on Christmas Eve) but seems Christmas crackers were the one thing no shop had left! (So we shall be doing without this year :/) Picked up a hot chocolate in Starbucks before getting the bus home. Had the beginnings of a sore throat, but think it was MCAS and extra antihistamines. The brothership arrived in the evening and we had an Indian takeaway for dinner. We watched The Nutcracker Four Realms together, which we loved, though Pom fell asleep. Watched true crime documentaries for the rest of the eve in my room and finished my book - Mrs March - it was pretty good - it’s funny because I know someone who is a Mrs March, though thankfully not a bit like the character from the book! We chop little and often on demand, so you can be assured of their freshness

Do you know the age of your #Christmastree ?

We plant Norman Fir & Norway Spruce saplings in the field aged 4

We start to chop them at a minimum of 9 years growth.

Some of our #christmas trees are 30 years plus!

Have a look and see how old yours is!

We grow trees from 1ft to 35ft.

Our wreaths are handmade here at the nursery using many natural ingredients grown on the nursery including our Holly, conifer and own Nordmann Fir from our fields.

We also have greenery for sale too. (Nordmann Fir, Norway Spruce, holly & various conifers and evergreens freshly chopped from our fields)

No two wreaths are ever the same.

They are all unique.
