Title: Earth Weeps Every Day - Let's Unite and Save Our Planet
🌍💧🤝
Every day, our beloved Earth sheds tears as a stark reminder of the crises it faces. Rivers run dry, and the people of Africa are experiencing a severe shortage of water. It's a heartbreaking situation where they are forced to flee their homes in search of this precious resource. Yet, there are those who dismiss their plight, falsely claiming that it's all about money and not about the dire need for water.
Let us break this cycle of indifference and denial. It's time to acknowledge the urgent need to protect and preserve our planet. The challenges we face are not isolated incidents but interconnected crises that demand our immediate attention.
The scarcity of water in Africa is a distressing reality that affects not only the people living there but also sends shockwaves throughout the world. It serves as a reminder that the well-being of our planet is a shared responsibility. We cannot ignore the interconnectedness of our actions and their consequences.
By recognizing the severity of the situation, we can start taking meaningful action. Every small step matters, whether it's conserving water in our daily lives, supporting organizations that work towards providing clean water solutions, or advocating for sustainable practices and policies.
It's time to stand together, united as global citizens, and address the challenges that Mother Earth faces. Let's shed our indifference and embrace empathy, understanding, and compassion. We have the power to make a difference, not only for the people of Africa but for the entire world.
Saving our planet requires collective efforts. It calls for governments, organizations, communities, and individuals to work hand in hand, implementing sustainable solutions, promoting education and awareness, and supporting one another.
Together, we can turn the tide and heal our wounded planet. Let's be the change we wish to see. The time for action is now.

Christmas as a cultural icon is starting to get really dystopian in a climate sense, december has historically been a time of year in which there would be snow in a significant portion of europe and north america, and the fact that its not even icy this time of year and all the christmas songs and decorations reference a time of year that will likely never exist in the same way again in my life time is so strange.

everyone please read this and share if you can.
Brazil is going through one of the worst climatic crisis ever seen.
i live in the southernmost state, Rio Grande do Sul. we have been suffering from extreme, nonstop rainstorms for a week now. the rivers are flooding, reaching 4-6 meters above their natural level. people are being rescued by helicopters, neighborhoods are being evacuated. entire cities are slowly but surely becoming submerged in water. 60 people missing and counting. 32 deaths and counting.
and this is not new. last november also had a flood like this one. 50 dead, many material losses. it happened again this january, with thousands being left without power or water for days.
three catastrophical disasters within less than a year. three disasters only a few months apart.
this is not natural.
unsustainable agricultural practices and politics led to this. a complete disregard for nature led to this. greed led to this. always greed.
when it comes to the climate crisis, i cannot stress this enough: we need to act now if we still want to live. disasters like this are going to happen more often and they're going to be much, much worse. this flood is being considered the worst climatic catastrophe in the history of my state. i don't know how long it will take for another bigger one to happen and take its place. i just know it will be sooner than it should.

Bro, you ok? Bro, humans aren’t separate from the ecosystems around us. We’re a part of them, bro. Bro, we’re never going to have absolutely zero effect on ecosystems, because we live here, bro. Bro, I never said it had to be a bad effect. We don’t have to immediately be perfect either, bro, sometimes doing what you can is what you can, and its way better than nothing. Bro what do you mean humans are a plague. You’re starting to sound a bit like an ecofascist, bro… Bro?

Daily reminder that we do not actually live in a dystopian movie put the apocalypse down and back away slowly. You know when your cleaning a room and you pull everything out of it's draws to sort through it and you're like "what the fuck have I done I'm never going to be able to tidy all of this" I think that's the stage we're at in the world. Thanks to social media we've pulled out all the messed up shit from the cupboards of the world, it was always there but now we can see it and we're going to have to sort it all out we made this mess and we can fix it. Falling to the floor sobbing will not clean a crusty room. A group of people working systematically (preferably with music in the background) will.

as a huge lover of birds, 90% of the concern against wind turbines being used for energy is literally just pro fossil fuel propaganda. birds ARE at a risk however there is a lot of strategies even as simple as painting one of the blades that reduces a lot of accidental deaths. additionally renewable energy sources will do more in favor of the environment that would positively impact birds (and all of us). one study found over one million bird deaths from wind turbines. while that is a shockingly high number and we should work to drastically shrink it, at least 1.3 billion birds die to outdoor cats on a yearly basis. it was never about caring about birds
