So…the Season of the Crow Witch begins before Halloween, probably the last full moon before Halloween. But, when does it end? I'd guess the first full moon after New Year's Day, but it could run all the way from the start of Autumn through the first sprigs of Spring.

hi there! my witch name is Lore! i’m currently 24 years old. i’m transgender ftm, queer, achillean & polyamorus. i have a beautiful partner who i intend to marry!! i’m autistic, have adhd and suffer from osdd1b & bpd. i am disabled and in chronic pain. i’m a gamer, artist and writer. i’m currently doing youtube (various topics), streaming and my art as a job. as well as sex work!

i am a pagan who practices witchcraft! i like the labels chaos, bone & cryptid witch! i focus mainly on the darker arts; shadow work, bone magick, dreams, hexes/curses, ancestry and more! i do practice and work on lighter subjects but my main focus is very chaotic, gremlin-y, dark and weird. i do taxidermy and collect/sell bones so i have decent access to the bones i use in magick!  in regards to paganism, it has a very small part in my witchcraft. i divine with my gods when i can but over all my religious practices are minimal and dont often delve into my magick. i do worship multiple gods, mostly from the hellenic and kemetic religions tho i do delve into other open practices. my main god is Dionysus. my patron is Haides and my matron is Bastet. i also worship Persephone, Aphrodite, Hephaestus, Prometheus, Apollon, Artemis, Hekate, Selene/Mani, Helios/Sol, Pan & others! i also honor some ancestorial mythological beings, particularly from mythos that i’ve always connected with; Ikarus, Medusa, Eurydice & Orpheus, Psyche, Arachnea, Achilles and more. i obviously dont worship them as gods, but instead honor and learn from them. i also dont worship the fair folk, i try to work with them and honor/respect them. same with cryptids and other beings, i work respectfully, not calling upon them or angering them, studying and working as best as i can with them.

my blog will focus mainly on my practice, sometimes delving into paganism, but mainly focused on educating about the darker aspect of witchcraft. i dont believe in or personally practice the “love and light” mentality. there are shadows and dark things in the world, failing to acknowledge and use that is dangerous. i bless and heal and work with light but i also thrive best in the dark things.

CROW WITCH MODEL RENDERS

AFTER OVER A YEAR OF ON AND OFF WORK I FINALLY FINISHED THIS PROJECT!!!!!!

This little fella is my friend Calcium's character, the Crow Witch. She's a funny looking little character and I absolutely had a blast modeling her, texturing her, and making these renders!

A huge reason this project took so long was because I couldn't find anyone with enough time to rig her. Thankfully @asterope-blast (twitter too) came in and made a pretty good rig for her! I am so thankful.

The 1st and 5th render are in reference to drawings Calcium has made of the character before. In fact, the first render was my main goal. That was the render I wanted to make THE MOST.

I HOPE YOU ALL LIKE IT BECAUSE I AM SOOOOOO HAPPY TO FINALLY SHOW IT TO Y'ALL!!!!

Everyone assumes a crow witch to be somber and dressed all in black. But picture instead a witch who saves everything their crows bring, their scarves and belts and boots (mostly made from bright colors and sturdy material) softly chiming and clattering from the bones and glass and Barbie shoes and bottle caps and shells and other detritus (once one even managed to get part of a hubcap. That now serves as a belt buckle with small but important gifts hanging from it), the bracelets and necklaces of matching items, their hat practically a helmet from the layers of small items. Each is brought with intent and care. Each is imbued with power. And when the witch crow dances, their items sing the raucous song of crows. They cry out, too, one with their flock, reveling in the joy of being.

But gods help you if you cross them.
