Hi tumblr fam… I’ve not been around much the second half of this year because of life and whatnot. Starting a new job and getting a 🐶 sucked up all of my free time. Fandom also stopped being quite as fun when my muse decided to bugger off unexpectedly.

However with it being the festive season, I’d like to thank those of you who have made my year very special. You know who you are. 💙

Because when your Thing––your identity––starts to faulter #it can really make you freak out #And that's not healthy for the project or for myself. I need to find the fun again and I'm sure I will #I'm really appreciative of everyone's support in my inbox and replies it really does mean a lot especially given that about 2/3 of my #followers followed for mlp. But if you're gonna react to me saying “i'm gonna cool down on mlp art and draw my own stuff” with “i'm #disappointed in you." then Leave! All I could think of was Wax running up staircase t the end of Bands of Mourning and noticing that he might be getting too old for this.

Also I just enjoy drawing him. and as an appendix to this: @curlytale and I were musing how Wax didn’t throw his back out in TLM, I suggested that surely Steris would have penned out a proper training schedule and then @priscellie threw in the idea of them doing scadrian yoga each morning. :D how could I not sketch this!?

So the uh, redesigned Frankie Stein thing ended up sparking a conversation on Discord and so...

Meet Lilie. The last thing she remembers is falling into a river, only to wake in a strange labratory in Geneva with a giant claiming to be her new father, and a gaunt gentleman trying to keep the giant happy while also keeping the giant from disappearing with Lilie off into the mountains...

Lilie just wants to go home, but that might not possible anymore, after all, she's not the girl she was before...

(Basically an Au where The Creature fails to save the girl in the river, brings home the body and asks Victor to make him a daughter instead of a bride. The Creature is selfish, Victor experiences parental guilt all over again and Lilie is having an existential crisis--Thanks to everyone on the LXGF Discord who helped make this AU and especially @see-arcane for giving this monsterous creation its name "The Wretched Family")
