I was invited to be filmed in my studio in readiness for this years fabulous Margaret River Region Open Studios event! Just received the fabulous news that my painting 'Me and My Girl' has been juried into this year's Artists for Conservation International Exhibition. This painting showcases the incredible Australian Gang Gang cockatoo. SOLD - Just received a lovely phone call from @studiogalleryandbistro to say that "On the Crest" has just been sold! A huge thank you to the gallery for another sale! The crested pigeon is an extremely elegant bird with subtle colours of pink and grey. When the sun catches their wings at the right angle, beautiful bright fluorescent colours sparkle in the like little gems. They are one of only two pigeons in WA that have an upright crest. They have also succesfully transitioned from being a common inland bird to a common urban bird.
