I fell into another hyperfixation hole so this is going to be some sort of Dragon Age theory post.

Preamble: Tevinter Imperium has Old Gods (7). Elves have the Creators, the Evanuris (9). Minus Fen'Harel and Mythal, because they weren't caged in the Fade, so 9 turns to 7.

The Old Gods

The Evanuris

Old Gods and the Evanuris may be connected. If so, there might be a connection between the Evanuris and Archdemons, because as we all know the Blight started when darkspawns find and corrupt one of the Old Gods, which is transformed into an Archdemon.

The fresco is the thing I talk about.

On the left is the Evanuris and Meredith Stannard, on the right is the Evanuris and Corypheus. I can suggest a few theories that may confront each other. However all of them suggesting that the Old Gods and the Elven Patheon are connected. So.. I’ll try my best.

Theory 1

Meredith and Corypheus isn’t a coincidence here.

Corypheus was the High Priest of Dumat. Dumat is the most powerful among the Old Gods (so as Elgar’nan among the Evanuris). For a moment let’s call it the "Elgar’nan side".

Meredith was infected by red lyrium idol. Red lyrium idol is somehow connected with Mythal. Maybe that’s how she saved People from the war with Titans (by tainting their blood). That’s a honestly a blank but let’s call the left side is the "Mythal side".

And so we’ll have two most powerful evanuris who is *obviously* against each other. Mythal (but we already know Fen’Harel absorb her soul/power) and Elgar’nan (who actually can awake Titans and politely remind them WHO tainted their pure lyrium blood).

Theory 2

Dumat isn’t connected with Elgar’nan, it’s one of the many mistakes and misunderstanding Tevinter Imperium did during the appropriation (stealing) of elven culture and heritage. Dumat was the Dragon of Silence and that’s perfectly match with the god who keep secrets (=keeps silence). Dirthamen.

But there’s more than that. If the connection between Old Gods, Archdemons and Evanuris is as strong as it might be, we still have two unidentified dragons – Lusacan and Razikale.

The Old Gods

Lusacan is the Dragon of Night. Constellation called 'Shadow' but depicted as an owl which is sacred animal of Falon’Din. According to "Song to Falon’Din", he’s a scryer who mastered the lying dark and hungry shadows and surrounded by 'wings of death'.

Dumat and Lusacan, which of them on the right? Both. Falon’Din and Dirthamen are twins who swore to never be parted. "The oldest stories never even name them directly, referring to Falon’Din as 'Dirthamen’s shadow', and Dirthamen as 'Falon’Din’s reflection'." (Game’s codex: A Treaty on the Pagan and Heretical Customs of the Elven).

So, one side but two dragons.. yet we have the concept art with a dragon with two heads. Let’s call the right side is the "Twins side" for now.

Razikale is the only confirmed female among the Old Gods, so we have only few options : Sylaise, Andruil and Ghilan’nain. And I think that’s Ghilan’nain. Because: Razikale’s constellation is 'Eluvia' ('Sacrifice') which is told a story about young girl who has to be saved from danger, so as Andruil did by turned Ghilan’nain into first halla (Codex entry: Ghilan’nain: Mother of the Halla); game’s codex "Razikale’s Reach" where was mentioned 'pulsating amber light' and "Horror of Hormak" (Tevinter Nights) with 'yellow-green lyrium crystal' in the ruins where Ghilan’nain made monstrous centipedes. Razikale’s constellation is 'Sacrifice' ('Eluvia') and all those bloody transformations can be called a sacrifices. Clearly not as convincing as it must be but it seems acceptable to me. So, the "Ghilan'nain side".

In that way we have Ghilan’nain and Falon’Din/Dirthamen.

Theory 3

That one is so crazy that I love it more than previous ones.

So.. This is all Mythal’s doing.

Once again: on the right we have Corypheus, the High Priest of Dumat. And what if... Mythal is Dumat.

Most powerful of the dragons because she was a dragon (= the ability to transform into a dragon). However she was the first reawakened by darkspawn because she was weak enough after evanuris’ betrayal. Dumat’ constellation is 'Silentir' ('Silence') yet its meaning is still debated. Someone sees a flying dragon (Mythal can do that), someone sees scales (Mythal was the patron of Justice) (Codex entry: Constellation: Silentir).

Dumat was slain during First Blight in -203 Ancient. Same year that Andraste was born. That can be a coincidence, of course. As so the fact that Andraste heard the whispers and some elves still hearing the Mythal’s whispers (ambient dialogue in Val Royaeux). As so the similarities of Andraste’s picture and red lyrium idol.

It definitely can be paths to nowhere but I like the idea anyway. Also it’s just perfectly fit in to the theory that Andraste was guided by Mythal and Shartan was guided by Fen’Harel.

Well, okay, it was the side on the right. And the left one?

Urthemiel (aka Ghilan’nain). The Dragon of Beauty and the evanuris who was 'very beautiful – with hair of snowy white – and as graceful as a gazelle' (Codex entry: Ghilan’nain: Mother of the Halla). Urthemiel’s soul was in Kieran, then Flemeth (Mythal) took it away to keep and then *presumably* made some preparations before Fen’Harel absorb her own power.

In that way Mythal either wants to help Fen’Harel to succeed, stop him from making new mistakes or pursuing her own goals. All of that promise to be fun imo.

Note: it's just a thoughts. Nothing more but a wish to spend an evening with bunch of crazy theories till nothing to discuss yet.

Still lots of room for improvement but... xD They are good friends, as Eluvia is a bit weird considering the standards of average children. She is the daughter of Solas so no surprises there. For most of his life, people tended to call Zahine by the nickname "Zae". This changed when Io and Luvi came around, and they started calling him "Zai", specifically because neither of them wanted to call him the same thing that Mattias called him. That was before they even started to notice some of the ways Mattias would treat Zai, too, so that's just a little extra "Fuck you" to Mattias that I think is really petty and hilarious.

Rohan's an ass man, so any position where he can grope Zevran is okay in his book. Giving, it's doggy, because he's a basic bitch. Nicholas loves a good 69- means he gets to put Fenris in his mouth while he gets pleasured. Win-win. Cody's favorite is anything that puts her legs over Cullen's shoulders, because it makes him feral. Eluvia likes laying on her side, with her back to Solas' front.

15. What's the most embarrassing thing that's ever happened to them during sex?

The tent collapsed on Rohan and Zevran once. Alistair saw much more than he ever needed to see. Rohan was embarrassed, but Zevran literally could not have cared less. Nicholas finished way too early his first time with Fenris. Well, the first round. Thankfully, Fenris thought it was hot, which was Nich's saving grace. On Cody and Cullen's wedding night, Cullen forgot to lock the door to their honeymoon suite (I refuse to believe they got married in Orlais) and the dog interrupted them. It was more funny than embarrassing in Cody's opinion but Cullen refuses to let her tell Dorian about it, so I'm saying it counts. It has to have been the one time with a boy from clan Lavellan where she farted really loudly just before he finished. He didn't laugh. They haven't made eye contact since.

28. What's their favorite body part on the opposite sex?

Rohan's an ass man, which translates to women, even though he's never actually met a woman he wanted to sleep with before. Nicholas is attracted to women in theory, but has never been able to practice. That doesn't stop him from Paying Attention to Isabela's thighs though. If Cody had to pick one thing about men, she couldn't. The breadth of a man's shoulders, the dexterity of his hands, a strong jawline, thick thighs, the quirk of Cullen's a mouth. Chef's kiss. Orion Mahariel: Dalish elf rogue. He's an archer and a ranger. He's trans, gay, and demisexual. He romances Zevran. He's very kind and hates killing sentient creatures, but is an excellent hunter as long as he knows the creature will be honored and used. He has Alistair complete the dark ritual since he can't due to being trans. He cares very deeply for elf rights and Dalish culture. He believes in a second chance for everyone. He has a huge crush on Sten at first and is extremely curious about other cultures and people. He is fascinated by spirits, but terrified of demons. He's always trying his best.

Rose Tabris: My city elf. She's extremely distrustful of humans and of most everyone, really due to the trauma she's been through. She's very guarded and mistrustful, believing that pretty much everyone is out to get her. She's quite harsh and blunt, not taking anyone's bullshit. She isn't afraid of a fight and she doesn't back down. She eventually romances Leliana, but it takes a long time before she trusts her. She's so conflicted over if she should harden Leliana or not. She just wants to protect her. She's a two-handed warrior. She's a cis woman and a lesbian.

Benten Brosca: My commoner dwarf. He's very sweet and jolly, loving everyone. He's kind and eternally optimistic. He laughs very easily and tries to turn most things into a joke. He really tries to always look on the bright side of things. He doesn't do the Dark Ritual with Morrigan, but he romanced her, so his son still exists. He doesn't die, either. Alistair ends up making the sacrifice. He's cis and straight, but an ally. Probably going to be a rogue.

Orla Cousland: My human noble. Can't decide if she should be rogue or warrior. Kind, but fierce. Has a strong sense of duty. She always wants to do the right thing, but often doesn't know what that is. She is Andrastian and supports the Chantry for the most part. She cares deeply and wants to change things. She hates being seen as weak and always wants to take charge of her own destiny. Cis woman and bisexual. Romances Alistair and eventually becomes his queen.

Eluvia Amell: My human circle mage! She's a trans woman and is bisexual and polyamorous. She romances Zevran and Leliana. She's very curious about the outside world, as she's never experienced it before. She is extremely Andrastian, but hates the Chantry. She loves the Maker, but hates the people who speak for Him. She has a similar view to Leliana about it. She becomes a blood mage and spirit healer. She is a bit emotionally stunted due to not experiencing many milestones of growing up while trapped in the Circle.

Primrose Surana: My elven mage. She's a mage, but she actually supports the Circles and the templars. She's kinda similar to that one mage in the Circle whose name I forgot. She believes that magic is a curse and that they have to atone. She's very fond of the Tranquil and spends a lot of her time with them. She hates being a Grey Warden and wants to return to her tower, where it's safe. She's so scared all the time. She's a cis woman and probably bisexual, but repressed. Haven't decided who/if she's gonna romance, but I kinda like her with Alistair and Leliana

Ralsei Auducan: My dwarf noble. Probably gonna be a warrior. Pansexual aromantic trans woman. She's kinda a bitch. Very spoiled. Thinks she's the best at everything. Violence is her first response. Very hot-headed and easily offended. No romance, but sleeps with Gorim and Zevran. Wishes she could be queen of Orzammar, as she believes it's her right.

Question #18:What are your OC’s greatest fears? Weaknesses? Strengths?

His greatest fears are losing his precious daughter, and possibly seeing the last true light of the moon finally fade away once and for all.  His weaknesses are full moons and seeing/being near the ruins of the Altar although he frequents them regularly.  He has a terrible time focusing these days, even on his own duties, and is often just... somewhere else.  He is literally physically strong, but emotionally is entirely fragile.  He is perhaps too invested in his responsibilities, as well as he upholds them.  Dutiful, responsible, a little over protective, and perhaps a bit... blind.

Question #32:If they could have one thing in the world, what would it be?

The true light of the moon to return to the world, and to him.

Va’meu:

Question #50:If your character was presented with imminent and unavoidable death/fatality, how would they react? Would they try to avoid death anyways? Would they try to make their last days count?

He would suffer a great internal panic, but try to maintain composure as best as he could.  He would likely fail on that, however, especially as the time clearly marked for his death grew closer and closer.  Va’meu would try to make his last days count as much as he is able to, with whatever his position and situation may be carefully in mind.  He would feel utterly bitter and that the circumstances against him would be unfair, regardless of what they may be, but would still begrudgingly accept his fate.  ...But not before attempting to leave what legacy behind that he possibly could.

Jorani:

Question #12: How patient is your OC? How hot-headed are they?

She is actually a very patient woman, in most circumstances.  Though there are some things that she has absolutely zero tolerance and/or patience and can be considered brash and hot-headed for.  What those few things are, we simply just don’t know.  Perhaps certain members of the Espinosa family would be able to tell you, but anything they say may or may not be denied by the Royal Fairy Court.

Fefe / Eluvia:

Question #36:What does your character want most? What do they need really badly, compulsively? What are they willing to do, to sacrifice, to obtain?

Freedom and independence.  The choice to be and do as she pleases, without the obligations, duties, and messes left behind by her mother and the pantheon her mother belonged to that she now has to take up and rectify.  She would do a lot for this desire, but the stakes and weight of the consequences and choices at hand in order to truly obtain what she personally wants aren’t quite something she’s willing to sacrifice.  If anything, she has had to sacrifice what she wants to do what she needs.
