something thats been eating at my mind to write/draw but if my boy hotrod/rodimus guest appeared in rescue bots this is whats been swimming around in my brain a while rambles down below

he wouldnt be like the main main focus hed be a guest star ofc

a new bot shows up on the island in vehicle form at first, but thats not really subtle cause hes a racecar and everybody is like "whats a racecar doing by this lake?" one that nobody super recognizes at first glance except fr salvage and blurr.

and blurr starts getting ecstatic when the bot transforms and its hot rod! (studio applause) and while blurr is going a lil nuts with excitement salvage fills them in that hes an old racer from velocitron and blurr is all like

"dude, hes not just 'an old racer' hes one of the greatest racers velocitron has ever seen!!!" and he starts infodumping abt him and in the back of his mind heatwave is like "greaaat another bot who doesnt think before he acts we gotta deal with" so they all go and approach him to find out what hes doing there

and blurr is really excited cause he thinks hot rod is so freaking cool and they can race and he can show hot rod his moves but hes not there on any kind of autobot business or even for racing much to everyones surprise.

hes only there to go fishing.

hes on vacation and been really excited for his fishing trip that hes been planning especially on a bot friendly island and by god hes looking to catch himself a real prize to brag about to the boys back home.

chief burns perks up at this, and its about time for the burn's annual fishing trip so they kinda end up combining the two trips. hot rods down for any good spots, and the others (mainly heatwave) wanna keep an eye on him

so the next day they all get ready and they go on the burn's trip first and are out to sea.

Salvage wants to try out something hes been working on around their spot and he stays on shore

Blurr is disappointed that hotrod isnt there to race but hes not passing up an opportunity to hang out with hot rod so he offers to go out with them on the water even tho he couldnt care less about fish. and maybe he can talk him into a small match later. Salvage kinda warns him not to get his hopes up, and that maybe he should take time to talk about other things with him. (blurr kind of blows him off tho which ruuuuuude!!! be nice!!!)

They get out on the water and everyone else is rlly casual and hit it off with hotrod p well. the burns family exchange stories with him, he talks about the states hes visited with some friends of his on earth. and ofc the conversation circles back around to the different fish hes caught chase questions if he has the proper liscenses for that. to which hotrod pulls up copies of some fr the different states he been in (all of them have the last name witwicky on them ;) ) all in all everyone is having a good time

everyone but blurr. he was hoping that maybe he could get some tips on racing, or anything to do with racing at all while theyre out there but hot rod's just really passionate about this trout he caught out in oregon and its driving him nuts. he ends up moping about it and just goes back to shore with blades cause he forgot his little hat and its just not the same without it.

They get back to the shore and salvage asks how its going and blades is like "Oh its great! turns out he speaks a bit of pirate too!" and stuff and blurr is sarchastically like "yeah its greaaaat" and they both kinda give him a look.

salvage is like "i take it hes not quite what you thought hed be like huh" and blurr is just "HE ONLY CARES ABOUT FISH. im never gonna be friends with him at this rate, hotrod is nothing like i thought he would be. im just gonna go back to hq"

and blades nd salvage just kind of look at each other and blades blades laughs a lil bit and blurrs a little peeved hes laughing but then they all get to talking a bit cause this reminds blades of when he was first getting to know bumblebee after their first meeting and he tells blurr a bit about it cause it was a bit awkward fr a while

blades had some ideas fr how exactly it was gonna be with bee and bee while he was enjoying hanging out just kinda asked him

"Do you want to be friends with me, or just the idea of me?"

and it made him stop and reevaluate things a little. ultimatley fr the better cause that kinda helped blades to take bee off the pedestal he had him on and just start really connecting with him just as he was.

and blades asks blurr if he was actually looking to be friends with hotrod or just the idea of how theyd be in his head and blurr kinda sits on that fr a bit without really saying anything

and salvage talks abt the time he and blurr first met a long lonnnng time ago and that the first impressions they had of each other weren't the best admittently and that salvage thought he really didnt have much in common with blurr but one day after they got to talking and racing came up in the convo and salvage saw a lot of the passion he had about it and it reminded him about a lot of his own passion for creating/inventing, he tells him that maybe you just need to give it some time and ask him about his other interests as well. really engage with him on it.

blades finally remembers he was there to grab his hat so he does and hes about to head back to the boat and blurrs like "wait, let me come back with you" and he gives it another chance

and it ends up working out. he asks him some more about his previous travels and they all start fishing again and the competitiveness rlly comes out in hotrod cause hes determined to catch the most and the biggest fish out of everyone on the trip now and blurrs trying to beat him and shenannigeans and hijinks ensue but they end up really connecting after that.

soon they get back to shore and everyone goes back to hq and theyre having fun and chatting late into the night hot rod decides he wants to take a quick ride around the island and he gets the ok and he asks blurr if he wants to join him!!!

blurrs really excited cause this is what he orignally wanted and was waiting for...but...

he turns him down, theyre hanging out again tommorrow anyway gotta make sure hes ready and all that and htos rods like "cant argue with that see ya tommorrow" and heads out

blurr goes down to where salvage is and just kinda watches as hes working on his projects and blurrs like "so uh... that thing you were workin on today... I didnt get the chance to see it in action..." and salvage glances over at him fr a second and then he smiles and they get to really chatting and talking abt it

and the first moral of this story is don't put people on a pedestal, take time to get to know them for who they are

but the second and most important moral is that there should be rodimus fishing memes

and reading this back this feels more like a bad my little pony plotline but yknow what that is ok.

Question! Can more than one Cybertronian feel the pull of the same Forged Spark? If so does it something cause problems among the adults (especially if they are opposite factions? Or just rivals?) Or does it also become a red string or fate scenario?

Yes more than one adult can feel the tug of the same one, generally this happens between Conjunx'd or future Conjunx!

It happens when the time is right, and so, they will feel that tug.

That said, it can yes indeed sometimes cause problems. Sometimes Conjunx have falling outs, one loses the other, or they feel theyre incompatible and yet are tied together by this young Sparkling.

Relationships are entirely complex and so, not always perfect.

Still,it does fall more into a red string of fate scenario indeed!

Where, the Well will in a way, know when the caregivers are ready, and willing to care for a Sparkling.

As a result, the Sparkling is given life, and when matured enough? Well, then indeed that pull begins, and leads the two [or more] parties towards one another.

An example I will give, is Bee and Optimus.

Bumblebee, due to the war, was one of the last born of his hotspot in the Well before it began to grow cold and stop.

But he did not have caretakers for a long time, not even temporary ones, and so when sadly, the camp he was raised in was attacked, he went out on his own.

He was still very young, and surviving on his own, till he started to indeed feel a tug to...something.

Come to find out, in a nearby area, was Optimus and a patrol, seeking survivors.

Optimus too felt this innate pull and followed it. When he did, he would eventually find Bee, this young Sparkling who immediately ran to him and climbed up onto the crouched down Prime's arms, and clung tight.

When they're in that close proximity, that bond will sometimes immediately snap into place. Not always, it can at times take significant time till these bonds become firm.

But the circumstances of Bee and OP are special, as you can tell.

so i finally watched Bumblebee(2018) with a bunch of friends and

holy fucking shit

its incredible. its a 10/10. it is so, SO much better than the shit-tier bayformers movies were. it has color and soul and emotion and actual plot and clear motivations for the characters. the decepticons arent some morally gray vague entity, theyre a clearly manipulative, tyrannical regime. the autobots are clearly a resistance force that lost the war and is going to earth to regroup. the movie immediately opens up with a sequence that is full to bursting with color and personality and it makes it very clear that the fights and the cybertronians arent going to be all gray and greebly and boring because their designs are obvious renditions of the generation 1 iterations. theyre the actual transformers! and oh my GOD i cant stop gushing about the actual transformations in the movie, like, look at this.

my friend indyjacob said this, which is a technical examination that that i couldnt put into words:

it's not like the fucking original michael bay ones where the transformations are weird nonsense. like, you can see the cockpit canopy flip down into the chest piece, or the wings invert and then raise up alongside the jets, and the front intakes rotating into the arms. the parts of the vehicle actually shift into place on the new body as if it were the old toys

and these multi transformations are cool too

the animations are slower yet more impactful, theyre much less blurry, and they look incredible. the fight choreography incorporates many more transformation sequences, especially in the final fight of the film, and they have more weight to them. the fights arent just them ripping each other apart and blasting each other with one hit kill weapons. they use the environment, they use creativity, they use martial arts, and as with the transformations, its not a messy blur of gray movement. you can actually see whats going on!

and then the characters. oh my god theyre great. our main character aside from bumblebee is, first of all, a young woman named charlie. already starting off on a great note. and she has personality! this is the story of a girl and a transformer and their unbreakable bond that i so badly wanted mikaela and bumblebee to have in the bayformers films.

bumblebee himself is also fantastic- i wont spoil anything but his arc is sooo satisfying. and the villains arent just like, mindless monsters. they arent caricatures, they have clear personalities and motivations, and their plans are satisfying yet dismaying to watch unfold. and then agent burns, played by john cena, is such a great character. hes not just an insect in a hivemind of soldiers, hes a person who eventually actually understands whats at stake and he ended up as one of my favorites. just look at him!

the boy! so much emotion there. youll understand if you watch and reach that point in the film.

in conclusion, Bumblebee is the live action reboot that transformers really needed. michael bay did have a message in his original movies, but transformers was the wrong medium for it, and this film is everything that they should have been. if you havent watched it yet because, like myself, you were scared off by bayformers, please give it a shot. its nothing like them. like i said at the top of this post, its a 10/10. it rekindled my love for transformers, and i am very excited to see where this new line of movies goes.

-neither orb stage or bipedal stage have mouths. they dont consume energon they live off the stores of protomatter they have. does not stop them from sticking their whole heads in energon cubes and trying

-in bipedal stage they can still go orb mode but are also able to start to do a rudimentary vehicle mode.

-the code that allows them to Orb doesnt get deleted it just gets kind of deactivated. so hypothetically a grown bot could go orb mode if it got re-activated esp if theyre on the younger side. (bumblebee… and sari if she knew she could). it would feel kinda cramped though

-theyre less like babies and more like pet cats to take care of. putting tinfoil on the counter to keep the protoforms off etc

-all the major development milestones like limbs/facial features etc happen when they transform out of alt mode because everything transforms into its new place. like eg goibg from orb to bipedal they have to transform first. like a cocoon kind of. its also very sudden

-protoforms communicate with beeps and buzzes similar to the sounds you hear bots make in the show, and when they develop a mouth/voicebox they often end up saying words while doing the beeps too and its very chaotic and loud especially when they learn how to scream

if you cracked open an orb like an egg it would be like gooey metal inside with a spark in the center like a yolk. the closer to the bipedal stage the more struts and joints you would see folded up inside. please do not do that its a bit rude.

the glass in front of the spark chamber starts off pretty thin and fragile but thickens up as they get older and eventually the metal around it closes over. bots w chest windshields/cockpits those are unrelated to the original spark chamber glass

and finally. yes. some people will let orbabies ride around in their cabins or trunks. depends on how willing you are to be repeatedly headbutted from the inside

au where engie and medic are experimenting, the other mercs are in the room when something goes wrong. they get it contained and don't think anything went wrong, until they all go to sleep, wake up, and find that they all have new animal features.

medic - dove heavy - grizzly bear pyro - scorpion engie - bumblebee demo - 'unknown sea creature' (nessie) soldier - eagle spy - rattlesnake sniper - tarantula scout - rabbit

i wanted to avoid mythical creatures but i really had no idea what to do with demo. but i think imma stick with it because technically its not mythical in the tf2-verse and i have a rlly funny hc about it.. so..

ONTO SOME HEADCANONS!

scout constantly complaining that he "got a rabbit of all things and not a cool animal" and refusing to admit he's actually having a lot of fun as a rabbit. he really likes his new ears he'll just never admit it

(also pauling trying to talk to scout through the headphones but his ears are on the top of his head and he cant hear through the headphones

one of the mercs calling pauling to let her know what happened and she shows up at reds base and is just like "what the fuck did you guys DO" and she goes on a huge rant and eventually asks if medic can make an antidote, to which he says yes.

demo having a huge ass tail and constantly knocking things over because he doesnt know how to control it.

medic officially banned him from the infirmary until he could get a cure to un-animalify them. demo went in there ONE TIME on the first day and knocked over an entire cabinet filled with medical supplies and he never went in there again (he darted out of the room instantly because he was worried medic was gonna kick his ass /lh)

engie absolutely loves his wings, he doesnt use them often but when he does he gets so excited and giddy bc theyre SO helpful!! hes probably also rlly protective of them too!

soldier knocks shit over with her wings all the damn time too. she randomly flaps her wings because she Loves Them and wants to show them off and whatever she's next to goes flying. she was also probably one of the only mercs that wasnt extremely concerned when she woke up; she probably shouted "AMERICA!!!!" at the top of her lungs and woke up half the base

spy wearing his mask significantly less because she has scales on the side of his face and under her eyes and the mask rubbing against the scales makes him cringe (sensory issues moment)

also i just find it slightly cruel how i made spy a SNAKE and scout a RABBIT. just- just think about that real quick.

sniper would have the time of his LIFE fucking with his team and the opposing team with his new spider powers!! some examples below

creating web traps to catch them. he especially does this to blu spy when he tries to backstab sniper (and scout just for fun. he falls for the traps every time)

web nets just around corners in the base that the mercs run into

crawling along the ceiling and walls to scare the shit out of his team, especially at night

swinging down infront of them when hes hanging on the ceiling also to scare the shit out of them

yeah sniper probably hated being a tarantula at first, but after he discovered what he could do oh BOY. he never realized how much fun messing with people was!! (he no longer blames scout and pyro for doing stupid shit)

pyro lowkey struggles with their mask and suit because of their new scorpion features. like they have those extra leg thingies and it was a huge struggle trying to get those to work with his suit

and dont get me started on his pincher hand things. pyro struggled. alot.

and his stinger thing. houh boy they probably accidentally killed the mercs a lot of times with that thing...

i dont really have anything for heavy yet (please feel free to drop any hcs) but i can tell you this much he has HUGE bear hands and he has bear ears and medic finds it absolutely adorable.

adding onto this medic wrapping his wings around the mercs while healing them when theyre standing still. like theyre hiding around a corner and medic brings them closer with his wings.

ALSO MEDIC HAS BIRD FEET (he hates it) and he had to cut holes in a pair of his gloves because he got bird talons (he REALLY hates that.)

i miss st/rscream so much and by that i mean i miss feeling safe with him. i dont even miss HIM i just miss feeling safe with him. and i miss feeling loved by him. rahhh. i love ken but ken is barely a fraction of how stsc made me feel. ooghhhhhhhh i grieve over this every single day but sometimes it hits way harder than usual and right now its one of those moments where i just gotta sit and cry about it and ache terribly. i hate it i hate it i hate it. i miss him so BAD i have never loved anyone like i love him and i never will. i think cameo had a big big big part of that. getting the voice actor to say my name/nickname in the voice, saying i love you and ive got you and like a hundred other things, that made it feel more special. i dont want steve to ever come back to cameo tho bc i know my abuser with her unlimited money would JUMP on that and she doesnt deserve it whatsoever. but. god i miss getting those voice lines.

steve hugged me and said stsc would never hurt me and "it doesnt matter what your abuser says, you always have him" and said in the voice "we'll always have us." he growled in character "i love you, and i miss you", like he was guttural and angry. he blew me several kisses and said he loves me again and again. that kind of thing would have sent me over the moon two years ago. and i just, i dont believe it??

its like theres this force field preventing me from believing stsc is "safe" and it. is. awful. idk how to make that stop. i look at ken rn and feel absolutely nothing. but back when i had stsc and i'd feel numb and depressed, i'd draw vent art of us together and i'd feel better. rn if i drew vent art with ken i don't know if it would help very much. i dont find comfort in him the same way i would with TF characters.

i LOVE ken i love him so dearly i love him so so so deeply but he doesnt feel the same. he just happens to be my number one favorite but he isn't... he doesn't feel like a very very strong romantic F/O but he's kind of all i've got. those ryan F/Os are all i've got right now and it's like i'm barely scraping up anything out of this. nobody else will ever feel the same and i know a part of life is that nothing lasts forever, but i am always so unbearably depressed over losing a special interest and my greatest comfort character to trauma, that my abuser is *everywhere* on this hellsite and i cannot ever enjoy self shipping the way i used to bc i cannot go into the tag and engage with anyone bc i dont know who else knows her. shes such a big, active blog, she has so many connections, i dont know who shes friends with. i know i can never interact with any TF blogs ever again, especially if theyre artists, bc its 99% likely she knows them no matter who they are. im thankful there are a few TF blogs/artists who have supported me and told me "oh that person did the same thing to me, and i believe you, and its ok i would not support that person" but its still just. its wild to me. she acts so nice and sweet online but oh my god offline she is the most vicious vile person i have ever met in my life. and she stalked me which is! insane! normal ppl dont do this!! but she acts Normal online she acts like she wouldnt hurt a fly but offline it felt like a genuine monster was hunting me. im so sad i associate stsc with that feeling of fight or flight. im so sad i look at bumblebee and immediately think he'd want to do horrible things to me. its like my brain has been poisoned and i dont know how to fix that.

im just here with this giant gaping hole in my chest with my heart ripped out and i dont know when im going to start feeling Joy like i used to. i mean i feel joy with ryan F/Os sometimes but its just. its nothing like what TF did for me and i dont think its possible to ever truly feel safe with F/Os when im in the headspace i am in now. there are times when i fear ken, not as badly as having a fight or flight reaction, but ill feel so tense and uncomfortable and firmly believe he'd want to hurt me and i cant go near him. its awful feeling like this.

my flashbacks have been getting worse since i've seen my abuser twice now in the last month, so maybe that has something to do with how im feeling right now. i miss my starlight so bad. haha i sound pathetic. he isn't real. none of these characters are real but it's the only way for me to feel loved and it's how i survive day to day. i need them. i dont want to be scared of them. well anyway whatever yknow i cant do anything about this so im just... venting about the same old thing. i wonder when its ever gonna stop hurting this bad, if at all

For the past week, he has been a wreck. He had just proposed to you no more than a month ago. Which meant your marriage was coming soon. You had to reassure him almost every day that everything was fine. He was mainly nervous because this meant that you would finally be all his and he would be yours for the rest of your lives, But he was happy to share the rest of his life with you.

He remembers when he first asked you out and how He would never have thought that he would marry you or little alone date you. he would dream of this day and is happy with himself that it is becoming a reality. one of the main problems he had at first is where it would be held at. he eventually picked a place on earth as the two of you decided that you wanted to stay on planet earth.

"Megs... it's going to be fine. don't worry about it" You reassured him again and again. "I know. I guess I've been waiting for this moment for so long. maybe a bit too long" He chuckled. he was fixing his suit in his holoform. both of you guys agreed to host the wedding in everyone's Holoforms. The attendees were mainly close friends and some Decepticons and Autobots that were formed after the war.

everyone was happy for the two of you and Megatron was no longer nervous and didn't think that it was all that bad.

Optimus had mixed feelings on the matter but was happy that you were the reason that he didn't destroy the earth. He understood that he shouldn't have been invited since he was rivals with Megatron for the longest time but felt honored to be invited anyway

Whenever you are happy, Ratchet is happy but is overprotective of you ever since you first told him about your crush on Megatron. He would take the role of walking you down the aisle if you didn't have a father.

Arcee would help you with your hair and Miko would help with your makeup. Arcee Wouldn't mind it as she knows that you're smart enough about who you marry. She is also your second opinion on your dress and what would match you and what wouldn't.

Bumblebee was beyond happy for you as you were one of his close friends. he would also help Megatron pick flowers for you because he knows what flowers you don't or do like. it would take a while for him to warmed up to the fact that you are married to THE Megatron himself but it does roll around to him at some point

Bulkhead honestly came there for the food and to hang out with you. he isn't big on weddings and all that but if it's one of his friends he will go so they know that he cares.

Wheeljack is there fully prepared to give you the strongest bear hug to you as he congratulates you. he mostly hangs around you and bulkhead but he does go to others and talk with them for a while, especially if he hasn't seen them for a while

Smokescreen is just as happy as bumblebee that you have finally found the love of your life, even if it might not be the best one in the universe. he does Megatron like how bumblebee does and suggests what flowers or just how to act on the day of the wedding. (he also promises that if he hurts you that he will punch his lights out)

Ultra Magnus doesn't think much of it. but as long as you are happy and not in despair, it's okay in his book. he will make sure that no one will get shit-face drunk so everyone has a good time.

Starscream was forced to come so he will grumble a bit and sit by himself as he rants to himself but he will open up a bit as the wedding goes on. he will give a compliment or two on how nice you look in your dress just so he doesn't get dragged out of his shell to say something.

Knockout is more than happy for you finally marry what's yours. Knockout will help you with your makeup and hair and also helps with your dress as he knows a bit about fashion. He is a good advice man and jokes about how much he helped with your dress.

Breakdown is the happy dad in the friend in the group as you marry Megatron. He comes with knockout and has a nice time with the rest of the bots, and for once he gets along with Bulkhead. he will also cry a bit from how proud he is of you

You can't see it but Soundwave is more proud of you than what proud even means. he does say this through little emojis through his visor on his holoform. He is an introvert so he does hang around you and Megatron like a little lost puppy.

Airachnid is happy for you but doesn't show it as she is too busy trying to not fight Arcee. But you do eventually keep her away from Arcee to the point where there is no fight

highbush blueberries covered in flowers.. i love them theyre so funky and silly looking and it makes me rlly happy. theyre like little bells

tip for growing blueberries!!! everyone says they need like super duper acidic soil to grow, which they do like, but it's not 100% necessary. what they rlly need is chelated iron (plus some other nutrients but iron is the most important here) which most plants can get by breaking down the iron in the soil through their roots. blueberries are rlly well adapted to acidic soil - and as part of that adaptation theyve lost the ability to break down iron because they rely on acids in the soil to do it for them. There is another way they can get it tho!!! remember when i said other plants break down iron?? if the blueberries can form a mycorrhizal relationship (plant equivalent of mutual aid networks. using fungi. literally my fav thing) then the surrounding plants can give their iron to the blueberries :3 grasses are the best at doing this, especially if you cut the grass occasionally bc it makes the roots die back a bit and release all their nutrients into the soil around the blueberries. im sure it helps that mine are next to a lot of old oaks and poplars that probably have loads of nutrients and connections to the whole forest by now

some ppl try to use various chemicals to grow blueberries, which i get but its harmful to the soil and just rlly expensive and unnecessary... all u need is grass/trees and fungi :3 just take care of the soil!!!

theres a bunch of these scattered around the garden and every year when they bloom you can hear the bees from a few feet away - so many different kinds of bumblebees, honeybees, mason bees, and all the others that idk bc im not a bee expert :P they LOVE blueberries fr if you like bees and yummy snacks (especially if ur in their native range) these are like the best thing to plant

last year the berries all got infected with some kinda fungus right before they turned ripe 3:< hoping that doesnt happen again. if anyone knows how to keep them safe pls lmk :3

4- First impression of each other? Was it love at first sight?

blitz: what an annoying little shit- (annoyed, mostly, maybe thought he's cute in a small thing to crush way)

bee- oh this guys fucking hUGE- (bees last experience with a con was fucking megatron and he's already smaller then the others so he's a little freaked out, especially with the triple changer thing)

deffo not at first sight, but once they start seeing and fighting each other more often, they start noticing more... likable things about each others.

40- Any special memories? Do they have a special place they like to go to?

theyre the type that need to be forced to interact with each other in isolation to really connect (ala showstoppers/ROE) so the first few times they were really alone together stick with them.

bumblebee is a fucking motormouth so he talks about fucking nothing and everything when there's nothing else to do (like, say, if theyre stuck in a cave in). blitzwing is much less outgoing with his personal information, but he listens and remembers everything bee says. every so often, he's bring up something bee told him offhandedly like months ago int he middle of the night and bee goes fucking insane about it.

also: blitzwing let bumblebee ride in his jet form exactly once and it was the best moment of bee's life.

theres plenty of old factory buildings in and around Detroit. theirs' is a bit outside of city limits, but they love it all the same. very... roomy.

I do like insects as a concept, but i get very skittish if they come near me😅 my favorite is probably bumblebees, or those tiny solitary bees that are iridescent green!!! theyre so cool… and of course i am fond of huge beautiful moths like the death’s head, rosy maple, atlas… yo who wants to send me some cool bugs in my inbox!!

agh, definitely deer, especially my native white tail!!! which it’s kinda sad because theyre horribly overpopulated where i live, but i’ve just always had such an affinity for them… i wanna get a couple of deer tattoos one day:D
