Made a traditional portrait of Kamala Khan, Ms. Marvel from The Marvels using Colored Pencils in the span of 46hrs! By me, TheFlamingRedWolfArts :)
After 3 weeks of work, I present to you, my first ever FULLY colored traditional artwork!!!
Yep, it's taking me way too long to complete an artwork LOL but I am trying to get faster!
I'm so in love with this!! I didn't expect to be able to color this well considering I'm learning & getting used to drawing with colored pencils & I'm so blown away by the result! The lighting in this was the hardest part, it was a huge pain drawing all these color transitions with the colored lights that are illuminating Kamala but it was very satisfying seeing it all come together, seeing all those "random" colors that I put down, start to make sense! Really happy with how the face has turned out, I love the depth that I've been able to capture & the amount of likeness too!!! Now, my fav part of this whole artwork... Kamala's outfit and her wrist: The outfit was a pleasure to draw, everything about it was fun to draw, from the dupatta/scarf to her symbol, I had the time of my life drawing the symbol, it was just so so fun! The wrist was a difficult & torturing but a great & helpful experience, it taught me how my art supplies reacted to each other & was basically a culmination of everything that I had learned this month working on this!!!

Made a traditional artwork of Maxine Caulfield, better known as Max as played by Hannah Telle in Life Is Strange using Graphite and Colored Pencils in the span of 31hrs! :)
Finally after exactly a month of working on this, I present to you my first ever colored traditional artwork & with it, so begins a new era of portraits by yours truly!!
The butterflies were originally going to be colored in digitally as I wanted to keep & portray the significance of their color but my parents ended up surprising me with the colored pencils & you can see the rest!
I love how the artwork has turned out, not to toot my own horn or anything but I am sooooo happy & proud of the coloring, the butterflies aren't very detailed cause my goal rn was to understand the pencils & get a feel for them. I love how Max has turned out, I'm very happy how the artstyle looks like a more realistic version of the game's style & her eyes have to be the best I've drawn, the way they look so glassy & the way I've drawn her eye makeup! I also love the composite of this, the way Max is "frozen" in black & white whilst the colored butterflies surround her & moving whilst it all looks like a photograph, it's just *chef's kiss*!!!
Oh, & this is my first time drawing a landscape traditionally, which was very cool!
