Pairing: Finn Bálor X Female OC Summary: After a traumatic childhood and a murder attempt that left her with a heart condition, Miracle Seanoa wants nothing more than to find some peace and fulfillment in her life. Working as a writer for WWE, she's shocked when Stephanie McMahon takes a gamble on her skills and assigns her to a new RAW roster member. None other than Finn Bálor—the man who'd long ago saved her life and captured her heart.
Finn Bálor left his career as a police officer behind in order to chase his true dream of becoming a professional wrestler. Working incredibly hard within NXT, he soon finds himself drafted to Monday Night RAW. He's shocked to see Miracle again, but even more shocked is he to see what a stunning woman she's become.
However, someone else has had his eye on Miracle for a long while. With his infatuation turning to a deep, dark obsession, he's not going to give up on her easily. Finn will have to resort to his past skills as a cop, to protect the woman he loves.

Chapter 11
Brooklyn, New York
Barclay's Center
Gerald Collins stalked through the hallways of Barclay's Center, in search of Miracle. He'd already been by the cluster of writers' offices, but with no luck. Finally, he went to the other correspondents and asked them of Miracle's whereabouts.
Their answer didn't make him happy.
In the least.
"Miracle is taking some time off," Renee told him.
"Rumor has it that she might not come back either," Kayla Braxton added. "And I hate it too. She was so good at her job and easy to work with. Fun to be around."
"Why wouldn't she come back," Gerald asked, his temper igniting.
"Well, I heard that there is some sort of love triangle between her and Finn and Becky Lynch," Kayla said.
"Kayla," Renee scolded. "Quit spreading the rumors. That's how they get out of hand!"
"Sorry, it's just what I've heard," Kayla said, a slight flush creeping up her face. "Like I said, they're just rumors, Gerald. There may not be any truth to them."
He nodded dejectedly. "I see. Thanks for the info. I'll see you ladies around."
He walked away, seething. Why wouldn't she have told me about leaving? About taking time off?
He stalked down the winding hallways till he came to Finn's dressing room. He knocked.
There was no answer, so he turned and headed for catering, the only other place he could think of to check.
Once he reached catering he pushed past the swinging double doors and entered the makeshift cafeteria. He quickly spotted Finn sitting across the room with AJ Styles and Seth Rollins. He instantly marched over and jerked Finn around by the shoulder.
Immediately on his guard, Finn surged to his feet and got into a fighting stance. "What's your problem," he asked, his voice rising. His stance relaxed a bit when he saw that it was only Gerald.
"Why'd you go and run Miracle off," Gerald demanded. "She was happy here."
"Whatever happened between me and Miracle is none of your business," Finn started calmly. "She's not your girlfriend, lad."
"She's not yours either," Gerald retorted. "Otherwise she'd be here with you."
"She will be with me," Finn remarked. "Mark my words. If she wanted you, she'd have been with you long before now. If she wasn't interested in me, she wouldn't let me kiss her, that's for sure."
With a growl, Gerald lunged at Finn and tackled him to the floor, landing a punch. But that was as far as he got. Finn threw a punch at his face and landed it right on his nose. Blood began gushing from both nostrils.
"You son of a-" Gerald moved to attack Finn again but was stopped by Stephanie McMahon's authoritative voice ringing out, "Whoa! Gerald, my office. Now."
With that, Gerald reluctantly stood to his feet and followed Stephanie out of catering, pinching his nose with his fingers.
"What was d'at all about," Finn asked, sitting up on the floor. He stood to his feet and took his seat next to AJ and Seth who were too stunned to move at that moment.
"I knew I didn't like that guy for a reason," Finn said, looking over at his friends. "He's a bit too possessive of Miracle where he doesn't have the right to be."
"I've noticed that for the past couple of years," Seth agreed. "When she first started working here and gave him some of her meds to have on hand, he was possessive of her ever since."
"Well, it's going to stop now," Finn said. "Because I can also be pretty possessive of what's mine."
"She's not yours, yet, brother," AJ replied.
"Oh, yes she is," Finn retorted. "She just doesn't know it yet."
}i{}i{}i{}i{}i{
"Bye, Daddy. Bye, Mom. I love you guys. Tell Nathan goodbye for me." After her parents said goodbye over the phone, Miracle hung up and slid her cell phone into the back pocket of her jeans.
She made a quick scan of her apartment to make sure all lights and electricity were off. Feeling a twinge of sadness, she turned to head for the door when there was a loud knock.
Groaning and feeling sure it was Finn stopping by to make one last ditch effort to change her mind about leaving, she finished her trek to the door and answered it.
A delivery man stood on the threshold and offered her a bouquet of scarlet-colored roses.
"Ms. Seanoa?"
"Yes, that's me."
"Flowers for you." He handed them over and then turned around and left.
"Oh, Finn," she thought out loud, closing the door and taking the flowers to the kitchen. She giggled. "You're gonna go broke, buying me flowers at this rate." She laid the bouquet on the island and began looking for another vase for the second round of flowers.
But then she noticed the note tucked into the roses.
Curious as to what FInn had said to her, she pulled the card out. She quickly scanned the single line of text, and gasped.
I told you I'd be back for you.
Her hands shaking, she dropped the note on the island beside the roses. Her breath shuddered in and out of her chest. The roses aren't from Finn, her mind finally computed. They're from him. He's coming for me. I have to get out of here. He knows where I live.
It occurred to her then that she could possibly find out who the culprit was. She dug her cell phone out of her pocket and quickly dialed the flower shop's number on the back of the card. It rang a couple times before someone answered the phone.
"Orlando Flower Delivery. How can I help you?"
"Yes, I had a bouquet of roses delivered to me a few minutes ago and wanted to find out who sent them to me."
"Is the order number on the envelope?"
"Yes. It's MS53049."
"One moment."
Miracle waited as the worker checked the order.
"Oh, yes, I took this order. He paid extra to remain anonymous and to have the delivery made today. Paid with cash. Didn't leave a name or anything."
"I see. Can you describe him?"
"Not really. He was average height and wore a baseball cap over his hair. He just looked like some generic guy."
"Thank you," Miracle said softly, disappointed that she'd learned nothing. "Goodbye."
She hung up the phone and then scrambled for her suitcase at the door. She grabbed it by the handle and rolled it out of her apartment. Quickly, she locked the door and checked it to make sure it wouldn't budge. Then she was heading out to her car and loading the last of the luggage.
Seconds later, she was in the driver's seat and driving toward the highway that would lead her to her Uncle Jeff's cabin.
}i{}i{}i{}i{}i{
"Where do you think she went," Finn asked, dying to know where he could find Miracle.
"No idea," AJ said. "Probably some random place."
"Maybe she's hiding in plain sight," Seth suggested. "Maybe the whole time she's been planning to stay at her apartment."
"I doubt it," Finn sighed. "But I will check and see as soon as I get the chance." He puffed out a sigh again. "I get that it's my fault she left but I just don't know how I'll function without knowing where she is."
"We all have that problem," AJ told him. "I imagine it's the worst for Joe and Ella.
Seth and Finn nodded their agreement.
"I just don't like her being out on her own by herself and that weasel, Gerald running around asking questions about her. What if he's the one that attacked Miracle?" Finn asked suddenly. "What if he finds her before one of us can?"
"Don't panic," AJ said softly. "She's not advertising where she went, so he won't find her, I'm sure." Although his tone indicated that he was now worried as well.
"I've got to find 'er and warn her," Finn said, slamming his fist on the table before them. "It wasn't safe for her to run off like this."
"Well if you find her let Joe and Ella know where she is. They deserve to know before anyone else," AJ replied, taking a sip of his water. "I didn't like this going off on her own either. Not one bit."
"I'm calling her," Finn said, standing up and pulling out his cellphone. "I need to hear her voice." WIth that he dialed her number and then headed out to the hallway to have a bit of privacy.
"Hi, this is Miracle. Leave your message at the beep."
"Miracle, it's Finn. Listen, I really need you to tell me where you are. Gerald is asking about you, and pretty aggressively at that. Don't let him know where you are, love. I have this…" He swallowed hard. "I have this bad feeling that he may have been the one to attack you. Call me as soon as you get this, okay? I love you, Miracle. Bye."
He hung up feeling even more hopeless than before he called her.
}i{}i{}i{}i{}i{
Meanwhile in Tennessee…
Miracle stopped her car in the large circular drive way of the Jarrett's mansion and killed it. She'd decided to stop for a visit with her aunt and uncle before she went to the cabin.
Hurrying from the car, she went to the front door and knocked.
The door opened and Jeff immediately pulled her into his arms, "Hi, darlin'. So great to see you!"
"Hi, Uncle Jeff! It's great to see you too," Miracle returned, hugging him close. "How are y'all doing?"
"Doing wonderful," Jeff said, his blue eyes lighting up. "Couldn't be better."
"I'm glad."
"Well, let's get you inside. Stay for dinner? Kayla and Jennifer will be here in a bit. I know they'd love to see you."
"I'd love to stay," Miracle answered. "It'd be great to see them as well." She paused for a moment and spoke softly. "Thank you again for letting me use the cabin, I really appreciate it. I got a spooky bouquet of flowers right before I left, so I'm glad to have somewhere to go and hide."
Jeff led her inside and closed and locked the front door. "What do you mean, spooky flowers," he asked. He showed her into the living room and they sat down on the sofa together.
"Well, the attack I had? The guy told me he'd be back for me. Well, the note in these roses I got said "I said I'd come back for you." She pulled the note out of her purse. "I actually have it right here."
Jeff scanned the note and almost paled. "Are you sure it's a good idea to have not at least told your parents where you are?"
"I've considered telling just them," she replied. "But no one else."
"Baby, you need to," he said. "It's really not safe to not let anyone know."
"You're right. I'll call Daddy tonight and let him know."
At that moment, Kayla and Jennifer walked in from outside. "Hi, Daddy! Hi, Mom!" They called out. And then their eyes fell on Miracle and they nearly squealed.
"Miracle! It's so awesome to see you!" Kayla hurried over to Miracle and leaned down giving her a hug. "It's been so long!"
Jennifer leaned down and gave Miracle a hug of her own. "Can't believe how long," she added. "How old are you now?"
"I'm 20 soon to be 21. What about y'all?" Miracle asked.
"28," Jennifer replied, while Kayla answered with "32."
"How is Ella and Uncle Joe doing," Jennifer asked. "Uncle AJ?"
"AJ isn't really our uncle you know," Kayla said with a gentle swat at her sister.
"Neither is Joe but we still call him Uncle Joe. It's because you've had a crush on AJ since forever, isn't it?"
"Oh, hush," Kayla said with a roll of her eyes. "And so what? He's a good looking guy," she chuckled.
"Dinner everyone," came Nina's voice from the kitchen. She walked into the living room and saw Miracle. "Oh, my goodness! I didn't hear you come in! Oh sweetheart, it's wonderful to see you."
"I'm happy to see you too," MIracle said, rising from the sofa to greet her aunt.
"How are you doing," Nina asked, returning Miracle's hug.
"I"m doing pretty good," Miracle reported.
"What happened to your finger, and your head," Nina asked, gently touching her hand and forehead.
"Well, I'm sure that Uncle Jeff told you about the attack I had a few days ago. These are just a couple of my injuries is all."
"That's all," Nina parroted with a horrified look on her face. "Who would want to hurt you in the first place? Are you okay now?"
Miracle nodded, "Yes, I'm okay now. Just a little banged up."
Sensing the young woman didn't wish to talk anymore about it, she led Miracle to the dining room, "Well come on. Let's get some food in you. You're much too thin."
"Oh, Mom cut it out. You think all of us women are too thin," Jennifer quipped.
"Well excuse me for not wanting my girls to deprive themselves."
"Oh Mom," the women groaned in unison. Miracle burst out laughing.
This is what I needed, she thought, feeling at home. Some time to relax and recharge.
Later that evening, she drove down the road to the cabin and got herself settled in. Then she turned her phone on and put a call through to her father.
"Daddy," She greeted when he answered. "I decided to let you know where I'm staying, but please don't tell anyone. Especially Finn, okay?"
"Okay, baby," Joe agreed over the phone. "Where are you?"
"I'm staying at Uncle Jeff's cabin. You know the one out in the woods?"
"Well, I have to say that I'm relieved you're close to a relative at least. Be safe, okay?"
"I will, Daddy. I love you."
"Love you too. I've got to get warmed up now. I'll talk to you soon. Bye."
"Bye."
MIracle hung up and then checked her voice mail. She had only one.
It was from Finn.
"Miracle, it's Finn. Listen, I really need you to tell me where you are. Gerald is asking about you, and pretty aggressively at that. Don't let him know where you are, love. I have this… I have this bad feeling that he may have been the one to attack you. Call me as soon as you get this, okay? I love you, Miracle. Bye."
"Gerald," she thought out loud. "Could he have been the one?"
She decided to hold off on calling Finn. At least for now. She needed some rest.
Little did she know that almost a thousand miles away, someone was watching Joe put his phone away, a triumphant smirk on his face.
Bingo, he thought. Her uncle's place.

Silent Bloom
Parings: Finn Collins/reader Bellamy Blake/reader
Warnings: None
Chapter: 2.01
"Ok, tell me again."
You groaned into your hands. You had explained everything that had happened, from the mountain men chasing you to Ada letting you go countless times that morning. Blinking against the sun shining in your eyes, you let out a deep sigh. "I can’t. I’m sorry, but I’ve gone over it so many times the details are starting to become fuzzy."
Clarke gave you an uncertain look before leaning back in her chair. You yawned into your hand and fought against the urge to close your eyes. The lack of sleep was starting to catch up with you.
Bellamy cleared his throat, which helped ease the growing awkwardness. "Tell us again what the plan is."
"It's a labyrinth. We got to the dam through this tunnel. It's all connected to the mine system. That's our way in."
Bellamy looked skeptical. "Are you sure we can get past the reapers and the..." He paused as his eyes lingered on you before continuing, "mountain men? I swear to God if your mom doesn’t sanction the mission, I’m going by myself."
"You won't be by yourself," Clarke confirmed.
Your jaw opened slightly as you noticed Finn walking towards your table. Gulping, you did your best not to make eye contact with him. "Guess the inquisitions are over," Bellamy said, giving you a sympathetic look. "How's Finn doing anyway?"
You shrugged. "I haven’t spoken to him since...since I came back."
"Hey," Finn said softly.
You continued staring at the table in front of you while Finn made small talk with Bellamy, and Clarke. You were afraid to look at him. The Finn Collins who did this wasn’t the same boy you grew up with. He wasn’t your best friend, or lover. The person standing next to you was a stranger. A murderer.
"Next round on me," Bellamy said as he stood up to leave the table. He squeezed your shoulder as he walked behind you.
Finn sat down across from you. "Mount weather, what’s the plan?"
"Still working on it."
Glancing at the blonde beside you, it finally sank in how Finn’s actions had affected everyone. Clarke had lost one of the few friends she had, and you couldn’t even imagine what this was doing to Raven. You stood up from your chair and finally made eye contact with Finn. Staring into his brown eyes hurt. He looked so lost and confused, but it still didn’t change what happened. "Excuse me, I need to get some fresh air."
"You look lonely out here."
You frowned instantly upon hearing his voice. You weren’t in the mood. "What do you want, Murphy?"
Murphy placed his hands on his chest, pretending to be hurt, before sitting down on the ground next to you. "Not interested in our hero’s gathering either?"
"I came outside because I needed some air."
Murphy made a scoffing noise, "I thought you would have been the council's new shiny toy. I’d heard you’d escaped grounders and our good friends from the mountain."
"And I heard Bellamy almost beat you to death again for trying to hang him."
You noticed Murphy toying with his fingers. "Yeah yeah, the same old Murphy that everyone hates."
"I don’t hate you." You looked at him, confused, as he shook his head, and scoffed. Did Murphy think you were mocking him? Despite everything that he’s done, you didn’t hate him.
"What, do you think I’m lying?"
"You kicked me down a ladder."
"In all fairness, you had it coming." Murphy nudged your shoulder as you both laughed until you saw the others getting ready to leave. "Can I ask you something? Would you have done it?"
Murphy let out a sigh, before answering. Even without saying the actual words, he knew what you meant. "I tried to stop him...I’ve done similar things to survive."
"No, no you haven’t. We’ve all done things we aren’t proud of, but nothing... eighteen people are dead. I always thought I’d do anything to protect my friends, but after this, I’m honestly not so sure."
"He didn’t do that because he was looking for a friend. Finn did it because he’s in love with you."
As you opened your mouth to reply, Octavia’s voice cut you off. "We are getting ready to leave."
"Try to stay out of trouble, Murphy," you said as you nodded and stood up to join her.
"Right back at ya, Daze."
You walked beside Octavia in silence until you approached the rest of the group. The first thing you noticed was Abby shaking her head. "No, absolutely not. I’m sorry Y/N, but you can’t come with us?"
"Why?"
"Because..." her eyes moved to the side where Finn was standing.
"I’ll be a distraction."
The older woman nodded, "there are plenty of ways you can help in camp."
You rolled your eyes. Abby’s tone was patronising but you decided not to think much about it. You hugged Octavia. "Watch what you're doing out there, okay? I need you to come back in one piece."
She chuckled softly, "I always do."
You stepped back to let her pass and felt somebody squeezing your shoulder gently. Spinning round, you smiled, seeing Bellamy staring at you. He looked worried. "You’re not coming?"
"This is one party I’m not invited to."
"Voluntarily?" You didn’t expect to hear the harshness in Bellamy’s voice as he spoke.
"Abby has a point," you said quietly. Something seemed off. Bellamy was more intense than usual. Placing your hand on his, you sighed. "It’s probably for the best that I sit this one out."
You looked back to hear Clarke calling his name. "You need to go. Just…"
He chuckled, "I’ll keep them safe."
You smiled softly before letting his hand go. You watched the small group walk away while finding it hard not to worry.
"Hey."
You jumped when you heard somebody talking, dropping the pen and paper that were in your hand. "Jesus Finn, you scared me!"
"Sorry...I’ll leave you to it."
"No, I’m sorry." You sighed, "I just got a fright because I didn’t hear you come in. When did you guys come back?"
"About an hour ago, I was surprised I didn’t see you."
"I’ve been in here doing the food inventory. Is anybody hurt?"
"One of the guards died, but other than that, no," Finn said, leaning against the wall, his head bowed. "We almost got caught by acid fog but everyone managed to hide."
"Then what happened to the guard?" You asked.
"Lincoln killed him. He has been turned into a reaper. The mountain men turned him into one of them."
You stared at Finn's mouth agape while trying to process the information. If mountain men were able to turn Lincoln into a reaper, you dread to think what could be happening to Monty and Jasper. "God, I need to go find Octavia."
"Daisy, can you wait? We need to talk."
A wave of guilt washed over you. "I know we do, but Octavia-"
"O will need me," you said, frowning when Finn cut you off.
"She has Clarke and Bellamy with her."
You picked up the pen and paper you dropped previously in silence. You didn’t know how to talk to him anymore.
"You can’t stop looking at me like that."
"Like what?"
"I’m a monster you're afraid of."
"I don’t think you’re a monster, you just made a really bad judgment call."
The haunted look on his face sent a chill down your spine. "I thought they had you, and everybody else. When I saw Clarke’s father's watch, something just snapped inside me. I can’t explain it."
You look down at the ground, not knowing what to say. You couldn’t imagine the guilt that must have been eating away at him.
"Do you think we can ever get it back? What did we have before?"
Tears threatened to spill from your eyes. "I..I don’t know. So many things have happened, and I hope we can be friends again, but it will take time."
"What I did in the village was wrong, but at the time I thought it was the right thing."
"It's not just about the village..." you couldn't stop crying as your voice broke."You chose her over me."
"Daze…"
"No, don’t keep cutting me off. Do you know how hard it was watching you with somebody else? Especially when you spent the night before with me? I was heartbroken Finn but I kept it together the best I could. You made your choice. You chose Raven over me and expect me to act like nothing happened."
"It wasn’t like that Daisy. Raven means so much to me, I didn’t want to hurt her."
His words stung the same way being physically hurt would. Finn had a big heart, and regardless of how much he cared, you’d always be second best, and you couldn’t settle for it anymore. Hearing footsteps getting closer, you did your best to compose your emotions.
"I need to hand this in, and check on Octavia." You sighed, looking at him, "You still mean a lot to me, Finn. I’ve never stopped caring about you. We just need to take it slow with rebuilding our friendship again."
"Baby steps?"
You chuckled, "baby steps are fine with me."

secrets out. bellamy blake x reader
summary 🛁: alie gets under the skin of everyone, even the ones who seem the most shut off
warning/s 🚽: swearing, depression, talks of miscarriage, and gif not mine, angst
slater’s note 🪞: season three truly was the best season. this is... dramatic? it has potential but i gave up.
Tumblr media
it was your turn.
alie crossed all of them off like a list. one by one, mind fucking them until they couldn’t handle it.
mind manipulation, you knew all about it and you were certain that it wasn’t something you could be so easily affected by. you had met a lot of people, had a lot of boyfriends, and friends, and even your own parents who enjoyed getting into your head with simple words that made you feel guilty or sick to your stomach.
you were sure she couldn’t get into yours.
“hello, sweetheart,” raven quirked her head, already analyzing you and your current mood. “see they finally brought in the big guns.”
you humph in amusement with lips slightly twitching upward as you made your way to one of the boxes that sat close to raven. you were hoping to rest, put your mind to ease as you sat before her, not expecting much to come from her mouth since you were a closed book.
clarke and jasper were practically left open and begging to be read as they sized up to raven with their emotions still filling their eyes to the brim. they were easy targets, easy to tear down, and easy to extract a fit from.
and although bellamy seemed just as shut off as you, he really wasn’t. bellamy had so many problems shoved in the back of his mind that they begun to pile and overflow. and with anger issues compiled from unsettled issues in his past; he was just as much as an easy target as they were.
everyone hits rock bottom, but not all get to face the humiliation of others also realizing and coming to spit in your face.. a plan alie was hoping to put in motion, she just had to bait you first.
“you’ve always been the smart one,” she slightly twisted her head, raven’s eyes dark and filled with a conscious that wasn’t her own. “always thought for the better of others.. never yourself,” she shook her head and you could tell by the way her eyes slightly squinted she had something up her sleeve.
you were intrigued.
“so.. selfless and yet you’re always blamed for every problem that comes up. why do you let that happen, y/n?”
you tilted your head to the side, not exactly finding truth in the last of her words, you had never felt blamed, and if anyone was a scape goat, it’d be murphy. but you still found yourself listening, eating up the lie like a story.
“which is why i’m confused as to.. why you took the chip..” her face screwed up and at the sudden words you inhaled sharply knowing very well everyone heard her words just as you did. “i mean, y/n, as much as a smart decision that was, it was a rather selfish thing of you to do, don’t you think?”
you kept your mouth shut, knowing this wasn’t the last of her words. she had a plan of some kind, she was still trying to get into your head and she felt so close by the way she had just watched you adjust yourself in the slightest way possible.
“like i said before,” you mumbled, “your chip didn’t work.”
“that’s too bad, isn’t it?” she whispered, almost taunting you, “whatever’s hurting you must be something real bad with how brave and strong you are, or—excuse me, seem to be.”
“someone should go in there,” jasper suddenly stood from his spot at the door, listening in, his mouth beginning to grow dry as he stood up anxiously, looking between bellamy and the rest of your friends listening with just as slack and uncomfortable expressions; taken aback.
he made a move to go in but bellamy quickly stopped him, “just wait.”
“bellamy-”
“but then again, the strongest of us always seem to carry the most. you would know wouldn’t you?”
your mouth twitched from frowning deeper as you thought of all the past torment, from the moment you were born to the moment you landed on the ground.
“shall we talk about why you took the chip?”
“we can talk about whatever you want,” you leaned forward with your elbows on your knees.
this couldn’t get any worse than it already was.
“i want you to choose. bellamy or mount weather?”
you swallowed harshly, but your voice was still stern as you stared at her with narrowed eyes, “neither,” you leaned forward, thinking of the many flaws to weaknesses that centered in your heart just with the those topics. “i want to talk about you, raven, only you.”
“deflecting the question won’t work, y/n,” she almost glared at you, “you said we could talk about what i wanted and now i made a decision; i want to talk about what happened in mount weather after you got shot.”
your face dropped and you didn’t even try to hide it, remembering exactly what she was talking about and the room suddenly felt hot and you wanted to leave but you felt completely sucked in like she was a vacuum, giving you no choice but to get swallowed.
“you were pregnant, right?” raven’s head dipped to the side, already knowing she had gotten to you despite your face no longer showing a sign of distress. “with a little girl?”
jasper’s gaze, as well as everyone else’s, landed on the side of bellamy’s jaw, eyes wide, holding their breath, waiting for him to step in, to stop it, do anything but freeze up like a stick, struck dumb with shock.. and hurt and a pain he couldn’t distinguish, something he had never felt before to the point he didn’t even know if it was all real.
raven tsk’d, eyes landing on her lap, “such a shame really.” you could see the sick smile that began to climb up her cheeks, making you want to scream, shout, anything to get rid of the pain clawing at your chest. “does bellamy know?” she looks up, as if wanting to really know, as if she didn’t already. “i mean he is the father after all, you think he’d deserve to know.”
he knew now.
“bellamy, do something,” clarke gaped at him, her hand tugging at his arm, begging him to snap out of the trance he was in. “bellamy, you need to go in there. you need to get her out of there."
“he held you... thinking you'd die, completely unaware of the baby inside that really took the bullet," raven inhaled, sighing, her head shaking. "that really is sad, i don't know how you didn't end it-"
you got up and she smiled, anticipating this moment. but you don't do what she wished you'd do. you stood calmly, staring deep into her hazel pupils, amusement snowing around, almost encouraging you to inflict pain on her.
"you're not real," your voice is low and quiet, "you can't effect me. you promote a false devotion and promise a final happiness and safety from pain, but you're flawed and can't even bring the weak of us down."
your eyes dart back and forth in search of some emotion in her eyes, but it seems she goes blank and shuts down like a computer until her jaw tips up, pulling closer to your face, whispering back, "you think that you're so brave, y/n. you think that you're some courageous soldier just because of the luck you had of showing up in the right place at the right time," you feel a hand grip your bicep while the other wrapped around your mid section, slowly pulling you away from the words that ran out of her mouth fast, “but you're wrong, deep down you're coward just like all your friends and my point is only further proven when you took the chip, because admit it y/n, you're scared, you're scared-"
you felt like you had been ripped from a different world once bellamy had spun you around to face him. your body shook internally as realization overcame you of what had all been revealed within that room. bellamy looked scattered as he stared into your eyes with his own wide ones. he didn't look himself; he looked worried and maybe even sad.
very sad.
"y/n, sit down for me, please," he grasped your arms lightly, pulling you down on one of the chair slowly and gently, afraid you'd break under his touch. he was completely disoriented and he wasn't even sure if what was all happening was real.
you stayed blank in the mind, feeling completely drained and distraught to the thought of what was running around in his head right now. it hurt that he now knew everything.
"talk to me," he slowly kneeled before you, "what—baby, what happened to you?"
you inhaled sharply, the feeling of tears beginning to form in the crest of your eyes as you begun to feel overwhelmed—your chest tightened and it seemed like such a strain on your lungs when you tried to breathe, "bellamy, a lot happened in... mount weather that i can't even begin to explain. i'm not even sure what was real and what wasn't."
"i was in a dark spot," it was hard to force out and you could barely look him in the eye with the intensity he kept within his eyes. his heart hurt for you and he couldn't even begin to think straight with all that was revealed with raven. "i can't think straight half the time, bellamy and after everyone was killed at mount weather.. and i was shot... i didn't feel like the same person anymore.. nothing felt right..."
you choked. your voice caught in the back of your throat as you attempted to explain yourself but he stopped you, shushing your voice as your tears begun to slowly fall and paint your cheeks. he pulled you close by the back of your neck, stroking his thumb against your scarred skin while the other wrapped around your waist, pulling you to him and his warmth. he held you tightly and so hard, that his ribs hurt but he didn't care because he was afraid that you'd slip from his grip, like you had before.
but you stayed and you held him just as tight, allowing yourself to sink, because this was the only thing that truly felt right.

When Olivia finally managed to pull herself up off the floor, her mind was immediately brought to Bellamy Blake and the fate of his situation. Her mind was working fast to compensate for a reasoning beside what had just occurred, yet the only somewhat bearable explanation Olivia could fathom was that the beans she'd eaten were mutilated with hallucinogenic properties. Earth skills had been very vague when addressing which foods were edible on earth, and Olivia was beginning to despise that irony.
Grabbing the bag of necessities from the floor, Olivia darted up the stairs with itching desperation to confirm that Bellamy was both alive and alright. The very opposite of Micheal Hayes. Olivia's body was visibly trembling as she exited the military base, shoulders barely stable enough to support the lightweight duffle bag of med-kits and blankets. Selfishly, Olivia had already shoved aside three of the softest for her, Octavia and Raven.
Olivia didn't call out for Bellamy in fear of alerting hostile grounders of her presence, so instead she crept through the trees and bushes with hesitation clear across her features. Olivia analyzed hundreds of possibilities within her mind, however she hadn't expected to see Bellamy laid out across a tree, beaten and bloodied with a lifeless body only a few inches from his feet. His chest heaved up and down heavily, his horror etched visibly across his pale complexion.
"Bellamy!" Olivia gasped in pure panic, her feet moving despite the desperate ache to curl up in a ball and just collapse. The world had been against her for so long, she figured it was her time to surrender. Her day had been filled with nothing but soft spoken confrontational battles, and her injures had just been pronounced terminal. "Are you alright, Bell?"
Bellamy broke down into a quiet sob of bleeding pain. The sharp intakes of breath he begged for broke Olivia's heart in two. His pain was so great and yet he put up a facade that could fool them all. She thought she knew Bellamy Blake, and yet she was so wrong. Olivia understood his motives, she could see his perspective, but she knew nothing of the tragedies that made him who he is.
"My mother," Bellamy began with aching breaths that all too closely resembled sobs, "if she knew what I've done, who I am — she raised me to be better, to be good, and all I do is hurt people. I'm a monster." Bellamy's voice trembled as he tried to remain somewhat intact before the completely shattered girl.
Olivia's breath pickup as her mind was brought back to the nightmare she'd been forced to relive just moments ago. Her own actions; attempts to do good and be better, had led her down a path of misery and grey colored grief. She'd lost apart of herself at twelve years old, a part of her that Marcus Kane missed deeply.
"Doing good and being good are two different things, Bell." Olivia whispered, her hands finding his with a desperate need to comfort the both of them simultaneously. "For what it's worth, I didn't know your mother very well, but I saw the way she looked at you, the way she talked about Octavia even. You could be the worst person in the world Bellamy, and as long as you recognized that, she would be proud. It meant you listened to something she said. That's the funny thing about parents, they don't really care about what you do, they only care that you lived and you learned."
Bellamy's hand twitched beneath Olivia's when he realized just how her hands trembled. Her face had lost off its color, her eyes somehow even dimmer then they had been when he left. Bellamy's gut coiled in guilt for not having noticed sooner, his worry immediately drawn to Olivia rather then himself.
"Are you okay?" Bellamy pondered, his voice thick with a blend of emotions that only humanized him more. His eyes were drawn to Olivia's, his thumb absentmindedly tracing circles on her hand when he felt her body flinch at the question.
"Those nuts, they must have expired. It's a common thing for hallucinogenic properties to secrete from beans and berries; especially on a radiation soaked planet." Olivia rambled shyly, her voice soft as she tried to recoil into herself. Her cheeks flushed at the attention, her hands growing clammy in Bellamy's as tears filled her eyes for the third time that day.
"What did you see?" Bellamy gently brought his hand up to cup Olivia's head, allowing her to melt into his side. He'd never vocalize his needs, but all Bellamy Blake craved was to feel like he was needed, and Olivia gave him that clarity. "Ollie, it's okay." Bellamy panicked when he noticed the way her breath drew in sharply and her eyes squeezed shut. A tear fell down her cheek, burning her skin as it fell.
Olivia's lip trembled, but she figured their was no harm in revealing even more of herself to Bellamy Blake. She had nothing to loose anymore, her will to thrive dwindling as the minutes passed. "Their was a reason why I was accepted into the cadet program nearly three years early, and it wasn't just because of my fathers position on the council."
Bellamy frowned, picking up on the fact that Olivia didn't want to talk about it any more. Olivia squirmed as her eyes landed on the dead body, her hands clenching around Bellamy's as if that would somehow provide her with comfort for not only Dax's death, but Michael's.
"Whenever your ready, you can tell me." Bellamy offered up the advice gently, hating the way his confidence crumbled whilst in the sole presence of Olivia Kane.
The girl had the ability to make even the most guarded person feel as though she could see right through them. Olivia could expose all of Bellamy's weaknesses without hesitation, he's given her enough reason to, and yet time and time again she proved that she wouldn't.
Olivia Kane would be the very reason that the remaining hundred would live long healthy lives on the ground. The hundred wouldn't be happy, but they'd at least have peace. Eventually.
——
Olivia and Bellamy had sat beneath that tree for hours, allowing the dirt to stain their palms and the breeze to wash away their guilt as best it could. The both of them overwhelmed by the memories they'd reencountered. Bellamy gripped multiple bags of guns, Olivia heaving behind him as she carried along her own necessities of med-kits and blankets. Both Bellamy and Olivia had different standards of surviving, yet they weren't opposed to the rightfulness of the other.
Olivia sighed softly as she looked up towards Bellamy, her green eyes clouded dread. Her freckles were a maze in the glistening moonlight, the pure overstimulation of recent events and injuries corrupting her ability to think with a level-head. Despite the facade Bellamy was attempting to rebuild, he bent down, softly squaring his eyes with Olivia's with hopes to connect their unspoken humanity.
"Are you ever going to calm down, Bambi?" Bellamy teased, his words meant to reassure Olivia, and they did just that, her lips twisting upwards into a small smile.
"I like it better when you call me, Ollie." She huffed. Never once had she pictured herself being comforted by Bellamy Blake and his obscene nicknames, though something about the way Bellamy uttered Ollie sounded right. "Humor me for a minute, okay?" She asked, anxiety clear in her tone despite her attempts to try and calm herself. Bellamy noticed this, smiling softly to himself before nodding, giving Olivia confirmation to ask her question.
"Any particular meaning behind Octavia?" Olivia shyly pondered, her fingertips tangling within the fraying edges of the duffles. "The only reason I asked is because my father used to read me a book about a King—"
"—A King named Augustus, and his fierce sister Octavia." Bellamy cut in with a large smile, his eyes shinning beneath the stars that had once bought them both so much misery. "My mom and I would spend our nights reading old stories, mythology mostly, Augustus was always my favorite to learn about."
Olivia frowned softly as she looked down. Despite the warmth that spread in her chest at Bellamy's revelations, her guilt became unbearable as his words struck a chord within her chest. "My dad told me all about how my mother loved Greek Mythology. She had an entire collection of stories, her favorite was the Odyssey."
Bellamy's smile fell into place with a sad smirk, his eyes drifting downwards to the guns in his hands. His mother would be horrified by what he's become, though talking about Aurora with someone other then Octavia was liberating. The darkness had reigned within him for far to long. "My mother's was the Iliad."
Olivia finally mustered up enough courage to show Bellamy the tears streaming down her face, her lip trembling for the umpteenth time that day. "My names the only true thing she ever gave to me." Olivia laughed through tears, her own gratitude for Bellamy's understanding presence immense. "She found it in some stupid baby book, but she though it sounded like Olympus."
"It's beautiful." Bellamy offered a genuine smile, nudging his shoulder against Olivia's before he stood tall, the makeshift walls of the camp not far from sight. "Alright, suck it up, Bambi. We've got delinquents to arm."
Olivia rolled her eyes at Bellamy's heavy handed assertion of dominance. His love for order stemmed from an unruly upbringing, one that still haunted him despite the arrogant smirks and mindless gunfires. Bellamy Blake wasn't half the man he portrayed himself as, rather a man who had been broken one to many times. Olivia enjoyed being one of the few people that knew that, finding it even more heartwarming.
"Let the grounders come!" Bellamy announced arrogantly, laying the guns at his feet. Kids crowded around him, naturally drawn to his authoritative presence, though the added essence of guns only added to their captivation.
Olivia spotted Octavia in the crowd, her lips twitching upwards in relief for the familiar face. Despite Bellamy's comfort, she'd missed the feminine touch of his younger sister, who always seemed to know what to say, especially when it came to the heavy hold of pasts. Slipping away from Bellamy, Olivia attached herself to Octavia's side. A gentle smile pulled at her lips, comfort visibly seeping through Olivia's posture as she relaxed into the familiarity.
"You okay?" Octavia whispered, ignoring her brothers speech about surviving against the grounders. Olivia had always been important to Octavia, though seeing the visible affect the grounds had on her, it was as if she grew even more protective for the younger girl who'd never shown her anything but kindness.
"Those nuts were not my friend." Olivia groaned, her head falling to Octavia's shoulder in pure defeat. The day had gotten the best of her, and shamefully she had let it. "It's my birthday." She added noticing the way Octavia inevitably tensed at the reminder of what had happened to Elliott Greyson seventeen years ago. "Everything's just been so messed up today, O."
Octavia sighed, tightening her hold on Olivia's trembling hand. The skin was clammy and cold, the only true signs of Olivia's rising panic. "Just another day on the ground then isn't it?"
Olivia nodded tightly, her eyes avoiding Bellamy's despite his clear gaze on her. Octavia noticed the tense exchange of deep emotion between the two, frowning up at Bellamy before she looked down at Olivia who was clearly fighting back tears. As if a protective switch had been flipped with her, Octavia wrapped her arms around Olivia before leading her away from the crowd.
Olivia Kane was just a broken girl trying to act like she had everything perfectly put together.
——
Just as Octavia had coaxed a very disoriented Olivia to sleep, Clarke came barreling into the drop ship with worry etched across her features. Her hands were trembling at her side, her face pale as she tried to spot out a specific person in the crowd. Octavia stood from the chair she was once sat in, instead moving to meet Clarke in the middle.
"Have you seen Olivia? I just spoke with Kane and Jaha." Clarke asked, her eyes widening as she realized that for the first time in days, Olivia was peacefully sleeping tucked away into the corner. Despite the many long days the junior cadet had spent on the ground, the only time she got any rest was when consciousness physically failed her. It was beginning to grow worrisome, especially for Clarke who'd bore witness to her obscene patterns of grief beforehand.
"She's pushing herself to hard, Clarke." Octavia breathed out deeply. The Blake girl didn't show her emotions often, especially not to people like Clarke, though her genuine worry for Olivia only intensified with every glance down to her bandaged hands. "She's going to end up dead before the Ark can even come down here if she keeps pushing herself so hard."
Clarke frowned at Octavia's observation. The blonde had been so wrapped up in perpetual boy drama, negligence overcame her thoughts when it came to Olivia and her health concerns. "Has she eaten anything? She looks pale." Clarke noted, looking towards Octavia for a moment before stepping closer to Olivia. Her small body was curled up beneath a multitude of blankets, the heavy heat providing her with a feeling of safety.
"She had some of the nuts, but Clarke I think something happened when she was out with Bellamy. The both of them aren't acting right." Octavia muttered feeling less then heard as she stood beside Clarke, wincing when the stubborn blonde pressed the back of her hand to Olivia's forehead. The last thing either girl wanted was to wake Olivia before her body was ready.
"Bellamy just got pardoned for his crimes. He said Olivia talked him into facing Jaha, something about the Iliad, I don't really know what he was saying. Between the guns and the pounding headache I have, everything's a bit fuzzy." The blonde was never one to complain about her own health, but she was too busy fussing over Olivia to notice the words falling from her own mouth, or small smile that overcame Octavia's features. It was something as little as a book title, however it meant so much more to the Blake's, especially Bellamy who carried the words against his heart with everything he did.
"She's a little warm, it's probably just from the blankets though, god knows she never used to be able to have enough. We'd have sleepovers and my mom would worry about her suffocating beneath the duvet's." Clarke's frown broke into a small smile at the memory, though her reminiscing didn't last much longer then a few mere seconds. "Do me a favor, keep an eye on her? I don't want her in here alone."
Octavia nodded, hardly bothered by the task of watching over her friend. They'd grown distant since their time on the ground, an empty ache filling Octavia's stomach with guilt. Olivia Kane had always been gentle as a summer breeze, though the ground was nothing but a brutal midnight hurricane. She put up a strong fight to maintain her peaceful mantra, though it was easy to see surrender was creeping up beside her.

Slay Your Demons- Part 1
AN: Hello! This is my first story that I have written in a long time! I originally started writing this over two years ago, I recently found it again and rewrote it and I am continuing the story. For a little bit it follows closely to the show, but all rights go to the original writers of the show. Enjoy this!
Bellamy Blake x oc
*******
Six months in solitary for something that she thought wouldn't mean anything. The radiant complexion that once shown through her features, was now lost in the miserable mask she now shows. She sat on the bitter-cold concrete ground of the windowless room, her back against the bed she spends restless nights on. The man who brought her to this personal hell, stood fixing himself up. Covering his once bare chest with his guard uniform. She sat, speechless.
He left without saying anything that has transpired in the small room. She glanced up, seeing now that she was alone. She felt her chest tighten, her lip began to quiver, and her eyes began to water. Nothing that has happened in the room was anything different from any other day of the week for the past six months.
Her head fell into her knees, sobs fell from her no longer pinked lips. Her sleeved covered arms wrapped tightly around her knees. Get her out of the hell she was put in. If only she didn't steal anything.
The wrongdoing, she wished that she could have changed. Her father always reminded her saying, do something stupid and your smarts will be taken from you. For a while that was what she lived by. She would always think of the quote her father always told her before taking any sort of action. Until her mother got sick.
They refused her medicine since her sickness was too far gone. Instead she stole them herself. She was promised that her mother would be getting treatment if he had time with her alone.
Now she had guilt eating at her insides. Her father must think she ruined herself, getting put in prison, for stealing medicine for her mother. Something so idiotic.
She hoped that her parents still love her, even though she was a criminal in their eyes.
***
Malena groaned in pain as she rolled over on the bed she was laying on, her back began to ache from the discomfort. She wanted to fall back asleep, feeling exhausted from her thoughts, but she couldn't. She shifted her position, sitting up on the bed. She looked around at the grey walls that surrounded her, just like every other morning. She sighed rubbing the sleep from her sienna eyes.
There was something different today, she felt, furrowing her eyebrows. She hasn't had contact with anyone she loved outside of the four walls she was in for the six months she's been in solitary. But she could tell, the atmosphere was different. She felt the need to cough, her chest began to tighten. Her mind flashed back to the textbooks her mother would read to her and the ones she would read to herself as a child.
She could not figure out what was going on, her memory had failed her. Normally, remembering specific lines from a textbook was her "thing". She had been known as Einstein to others because of the smarts she has.
Her head shot up to get a glimpse at the steal door that was pushed open by three guards. "Prisoner 293, face the wall." One of the guards demanded while walking into the solitary room. She listened to him, facing the wall opposite from him.
"What's this for?" she questioned her heart sunk. She started to feel panic reach at her throat.
"Quiet and hold out your right wrist." The guard snarled. She was hesitant at first, turning her head to her right wrist, but she held it out for him anyway. He placed a metal wrist band onto her wrists, she gasped in pain. "Let's go." He muttered taking a hold of her arms, dragging her out of solitary confinement room, for the first time in six months.
Her eyes traveled around the other delinquents that are being taken the same way Malena was. "What's going on?" she continued to wonder. She recognized someone she knew since childhood getting dragged out of his cell too. Finn Collins. Where are we going, she thought to herself. She didn't want to fight the guards, she began to think that it was smarter if she didn't fight them or even question them.
***
She sat in the drop ship, her eyebrows in a permanent scowl. Why am I on this death pod? She asked herself.  Her eyes found a familiar face, sat not to far away from her. "Finn!" She called, hoping to get his attention. His head snapped to the call of his name. A small smirk formed to his lips, as he saw his childhood best friend sitting a few seats away from him.
"What's going on?" Malena questioned, looking at the other delinquents sitting around her. Finn shook his head, unsure of what was happening. A loud door seal closing brought everyone in the ship to quiet down. Lots of the delinquents were confused as to what their fate was to become, many were happy to be there. But Malena was not one of them, she wanted off of the ship.
Suddenly, they felt the ship depart from the Ark, many erupting into cheers while others stayed silent. Malena's heart sank knowing, this must be away to ensure more oxygen on the Ark. I'll never get to see my parents again, she thought with her eyes brimming in tears. The ship began to shake for a split second causing squeals coming from many of her fellow prisoners, lights flashing on and off. The atmosphere, she recalled. The monitors surrounding the drop ship show Chancellor Jaha.
"Prisoners of the Ark, hear me now. You've been given a second chance, and as your Chancellor, it is my hope that you see this as not just a chance for you, but a chance for all of us. Indeed for mankind itself. We have no idea what is waiting for you down there. If the odds of survival were better, we would've sent others. Frankly, we're sending you because your crimes have made you expendable." Chancellor Jaha explained. "Your dad's a dick, Wells!" One of her fellow prisoners yelled.
The ground? The ground! Earth hasn't been survivable for ninety-seven years, and wasn't going to be for another hundred. Why are we being sent down to death? Malena asked herself. Her eyebrows furrowed as she continued to hear Jaha's statements, taking a note of what he was telling the prisoners. She looked down at her lap, feeling her nerves continue to rise as they continued to get closer to the Earth's atmosphere.
"Space walk, bandit strikes again!" "Yeah Finn!" Malena hears cheers, about him. She looked around the drop ship to see Finn doing flips around the ship. "Finn what the hell are you doing?" Malena yells from the other side of the drop ship, he ignored her calls. He maneuvered his way in front of Wells Jaha.
Malena rolls her eyes, deciding to focus back to what Chancellor Jaha was saying, thinking it be best if at least one of the delinquents was paying attention to him. "Mount Weather is life, you must locate those supplies immediately... Your one responsibility is to stay alive." Malena looks around to see two more people getting out of their seats, just like Finn. "Listen to Griffin! Get back in your seats if you want to stay alive!" Malena yelled causing a small smirk from Clarke.
But before the two got a chance to get back into their seats, the parachutes deploy. The ship begins to malfunction, flying rapidly through the atmosphere. Sparks everywhere, steam and smoke fill the drop ship. Everyone seems to be unsure of what is going on around them. Am I going to live long enough just to die as soon as those doors open? Malena wonders.
Everything falls silent as soon as the ship lands. Everyone is breathing heavy, scared of what might happen when the door opens. Will everyone die instantaneously as the doors open? Will it be a slow painful death? Will it be so unnoticeable that one second I'll feel fine then I'll be dead the other second? Malena questions everything. She enjoys over-analyzing things, making sure she got every side of things. She likes to know, everything and that's everything.
"Listen, no machine hum." Monty Green says from a few seats away from Malena.
"Woah, that's a first." Jasper Jordan says next in amazement. Everyone climbs out of their seats at the sound of a single click.
Clarke runs to tend to the two prisoners that followed Finn out of their seats, Finn's face has fallen pale and his eyes have widen as he tighten his grip around one of the pipelines. "The door is on the lower level, lets go!" A prisoner yells, ready to head down the ladder to the bottom level.
Malena's eyes widen, "No you can't just open the door!" Clarke yells, ready to race whoever said that to the lower level. Malena mentally thanked Clarke for having some commonsense. All of the prisoners follow down to the lower level. Malena slower than others.
"Just back it up, guys!" A  tall brunette man says, someone she's never seen before. He looks nothing like a prisoner, Malena took note. Clarke and the brunette man debate whether or not to open the door. Malena mentally hoping Clarke wins this battle.
"Bellamy?" A soft voice calls from the back of the drop ship. Many fall silent.
He turns his head to see who the call came from, the girl walking up to him with a confused look to her features. "That's the girl that hid under the floor." Someone calls. Octavia Blake? Malena never understood how she spent sixteen years of her life under the floor, knowing the weekly room checks should have caught her long, long ago.
"Oh my god, look how big you are." The brunette says as Octavia wraps her arms around him. Malena watches the siblings embrace and talk to each other. She mentally wanting the feeling of having a sibling, but knowing it could never happen.
It would be all over Ark news. Jacopo Sinclair and Melody Sinclair floated for having second child. It brought shivers down her spin just thinking about the fact of her parents being floated. She was more than thankful that she never had to experience that.
Everyone finally puts two and two together, realizing that they were the infamous Blake siblings. Octavia seeming quite upset that everyone was being rude towards her. Malena stood in the back of the drop ship, rolling her eyes.
Before Malena could process what was happening, the drop ship door was being opened. Her heart began to race, this moment is either life or death. She didn't want to see what the land was like, she didn't want to process what any of what Earth had to show. Malena hears the soft sound of someone's feet hitting the dirt of Earth. Malena's breath gets caught in her chest.
"We're back bitches!" Octavia yells from outside of the drop ship throwing her arms into the air. All of the delinquents follow her footsteps out of the drop ship, everyone cheering as they run into the endless forest surrounding them. Malena makes her way out of the ship, seeming skeptic, that Earth is what everyone else thinks of it. She notices Clarke staring off into the Earth's air. Malena watches as she runs to the edge of the forest, looking down at her map.
"Mal!" A familiar voice calls running up to her. She turns her head to see Finn, that smirk clearly evident to his features. She runs into his arms, missing her best friend. Some of her fears calm knowing her best friend is able to survive Earth with her.
"I missed you Finny." Malena says in his chest. Seeing Finn made her heart ache for her other best friend up on the Ark.
"Two thirds of the bad-ass-three together again." He says as he pulls from the embrace, a small chuckle falling from his lips.
"I wish Raven was here," she sighs, Finn agreeing. Malena began to take in her surroundings noticing all of the green. "Earth would be ten times better with Raven." she continues, kicking her foot against the dirtied ground. The two best friends admire the green surroundings, with Clarke catching the eye of Finn.
"I'll be right back." he says walking up to Clarke. Malena stays where she was stood, watching the other delinquents frolic around the trees.
Malena wishes nothing more to see her parents and Raven. Unlike many of the prisoners, Malena wants to go back to the Ark, but not the solitary cell she was in. She wants her family again, not whatever Earth has to offer.

Chapter Thirteen
With his hand still on my arm for safekeeping, Bellamy and I hurried after them. Clarke’s panicked yells could still be heard over the chaos, her bright blonde mane causing her to stand out amongst the bodies. I noticed that she desperately scrapped with them, but with her lack of experience in fighting anyone she was easily overwhelmed and ejected from the activity at the centre.
Moments later, Murphy was being hoisted into a makeshift noose as he pleaded for his life. The executioners were frighteningly efficient in setting up their gallows, producing a box which they graciously laid beneath his feet, although they barely allowed the front of his boots to graze over it, meaning that he was already beginning to choke.
Bloodlust filled the air as the men cried out for his death and when I glanced up at him, the terror in his face made me sick. My mind was empty regardless of my desperation to provide a solution, anything that could prevent this unsubstantiated claim from causing another brutal death of one of our own. The momentum of the crowd was already against us.
Clarke fell from the constraints of the guards that had momentarily ceased her protests, immediately launching herself forward to slam both hands into Bellamy’s chest and knocking him from his horrified silence.
“You can stop this! They’ll listen to you!” She cried, shaking him with a frantic manner.
Rising into my chest, my temper exploded out of me and I found myself barging her backwards. Confusion crossed her face, as if she couldn’t comprehend why I would possibly be upset with her. This response only worsened the anger that flowed through my veins, forcing its way out of my mouth without my permission.
“You selfish, naïve, high and mighty brat. You caused this! You rallied them into a riot. They won't listen to anyone now!” I growled as I blocked her from reaching Bellamy again.
Even in the middle of the chaos that surrounded us from all angles, I was able to focus on the single factor that I could control. I ensured that I allowed Bellamy the space to breathe, to manage the burden of leadership that had fallen to him. Deep inside my chest, I longed to assist him but I couldn’t conceive of any way out of this mess, leaving me with only my fury at Clarke for causing this.
Connor’s attention finally shifted from Murphy, but in a daunting turn of events it landed on Bellamy.
“Bellamy!” He yelled as he pointed to him, drawing the interest of the entire crowd. “You should do it!” He announced as if he were bestowing him with a great honour.
As the words left his mouth, I felt as if my stomach had fallen out of my body. Even the very concept of being assigned such a monumental responsibility caused a level of stress that I had never previously experienced and I couldn't begin to imagine the emotions that he was experiencing. The horror in his face was obvious as he battled with the decision. Tears pricked at my eyes in sympathy for him, wishing that I could do something to take his pain away.
“Bel-la-my! Bel-la-my! Bel-la-my!”
In no time at all, Connor had managed to start the crowd chanting again. Panic flooded over me as the situation continued to escalate. I felt as if we were being swept away in the tide, unable to save ourselves or each other. There was nothing I could do to appease those who called for blood, nothing to justify the loss of one our own and nothing to defend the person whose actions had united his enemies against him so easily.
Murphy’s stifled pleading filled my mind, the desperation in his face burning into my memory. I covered my ears in a bid for a chance to think, losing myself to the sensation that had haunted me for years, the feeling that I was utterly powerless.
“I saw you in the woods with Atom.” Clarke cried as she immediately used her new found freedom from me to crowd Bellamy again. “I know you’re not a killer.” She begged in a tactic that was pitiful enough to pull me from my despair.
No longer in control of myself, I was at the mercy of my emotions. The strain of the situation bought out the worst in me, the parts of myself that I strained to hide. Realising that she was willing to weaponise a moment that had utterly crushed Bellamy, caused him to doubt everything he already knew about himself, in a bid to manipulate him to her will whilst he was already crushed under the weight of an impossible decision was the last straw.
I barged between them, grasping her shoulders with more force than needed to throw her into the crowd behind us.
“You don’t know anything about him!” I growled, squaring up to her in such an aggressive manner that she shrunk beneath me. “Because of your reckless, self centred actions, he is left to deal with your mess! No matter what he is forced to do now, the consequences are on your hands, not his. For once, keep your entitled mouth shut!”
The fury that pulsed through me was so intense that I found myself baring my teeth at her as I spoke, behaving as if I were a wild animal protecting its kin. My words poured out like acid as I pushed her back again, pressing into her personal space whilst she stumbled to keep her balance. Her continued poor attitude crept beneath my skin, as even when scolded, her expression indicated that she still believed she was the only person who was capable of making the correct decision for us. I forced myself to turn my back on her for my own self preservation.
“You don’t have to do this.” I asserted in a voice that was quiet enough for only Bellamy to hear, noticing that behind me several of the men in the crowd held Clarke back to prevent her from interfering again. “Whatever your decision, I’ll follow you. You’re not alone with this.” I added in my best attempt to be reassuring as he gradually bought his gaze to meet mine, but the terror that hid behind his deep brown eyes mirrored my own.
“Bellamy! Don’t do this!” Clarke’s cries still carried from the crowd as the chanting of his name continued. “Don’t do this!”
Bellamy reluctantly stepped forward, each crunch of his feet in the dry ground causing my heart to beat faster and blood to turn cold. Every instinct screamed for me to turn away, cover my eyes, but I fought to stand my ground. I had made a promise that I would have his back and I meant to keep it. As he reached Connor who waited for him with an enthusiastic expression, he glanced back at me over his shoulder for strength. I held his gaze firmly, silently reaffirming my support.
The sound of him kicking the box from beneath Murphy felt deafening, the crowd's cheers sounding muffled by the horror. Due to the limited height of his fall, there was no merciful death awaiting him. Instead, he was left to squirm against the noose, his loud gasps filling the arm. Involuntarily, I turned away for a second, taking the chance to dry my eyes before anyone could notice how affected I was.
Clarke somehow broke free whilst I was distracted, pushing at Bellamy again in an outpour of emotion.
“No, Bellamy!” She wailed dramatically, tears running down her face with a freedom that I envied.
“This is on you, Princess!” Bellamy spat, squaring up to her in anger.
The anguish in his face was evident to me, although it seemed to be invisible to others, most of all Clarke. She stared up at him with disgust that churned my stomach, oblivious to the fact that she had forced his hand. It was a struggle to fight the temptation to tear them apart, to prevent her from further hurting him, but I knew that there was an immense pressure on him to react in what the camp deemed a correct manner. He couldn’t reveal any shame, or regret, and I had to refrain from behaving in any way that might undermine him.
“You should’ve kept your mouth shut!” He growled as he grabbed her shoulders, shaking her as if he was willing her to understand her part in this mess.
“Hey! What the hell are you doing?” Finn’s stunned voice was unexpected enough to quash the cheers and commotion as he emerged from the woods and immediately carved a path through the crowd with no regard for his own safety.
“Cut him down!” He ordered in an obvious fury, before he was distracted by something by his side. “Charlotte! Get out of here, now!”
The sound of the name alone was enough to spur me from my trance and I bolted over toward him. As I grew closer, I caught sight of our youngest camp member who stared up at Murphy with a wide eyed terror. My heart shattered in my chest at the realisation that she had been present for this entire situation. Devastation over what she had been forced to witness kept me focused as a fight broke out behind me.
“It’s okay. I’ve got you. Come on.” I breathed as I reached the young girl, gripping her arm to encourage her to move. “Let’s get you somewhere safe. You shouldn’t have to see this.” I added as I pulled lightly, keen to remove her from harm’s way as quickly as possible, but she defiantly broke from my grip and threw herself into the centre of the clearing with me close behind.
“Stop! Murphy didn’t kill Wells!” She screamed at the top of her voice, her frantic voice brought all of the fighting to a standstill.
Despite my confusion, I seized the opportunity to catch up to her, placing my hands on her shoulders protectively whilst I allowed her to provide whatever information she had. In my mind, I was already assessing whether I thought I had the strength to carry her, hopeful that she would cease fighting me once she had unburdened herself.
“I did!” She confessed, a single tear slipping down her cheek.
My mouth fell open in shock, struggling to comprehend what I had just heard. Instead of running for safety as I had planned, I found myself rooted to the spot. Thankfully, Clarke had the sense of mind to grab an axe and cut Murphy down before it was too late. Her quick thinking saved his life and triggered me to do the same for the child in my hands.
Whilst Bellamy stared at her in mixed concern and confusion, I didn’t await permission before I lifted hre into my arms and rushed into the trees for cover. Careful to consider how I could avoid being intercepted, I cut through the woods on the edge of camp until I reached the back entrance. Her little hand threaded through mine as we lowered into a crouch to avoid anyone who might mean her harm.
We crept into Bellamy’s tent and hid at the back. I held a hand over her mouth to silence her nervous whimpers, fearful that they might bring those searching for us. However, my plan was quashed barely moments later when Bellamy, Clarke and Finn entered behind me with frantic behaviours.
“I hope you had the sense not to draw any attention getting here.” I sighed in relief, before realising that they didn’t seem as if they had arrived here quietly.
Instead of answering, they each grew awkward and glanced at each other with shameful expressions.
“Damn it!” I hissed, releasing my grip on Charlotte to cross my arms in frustration. “So much for sneaking her out. They know exactly where she is now.”
As if following a cue, I could hear multiple hurried footsteps as Murphy led the crowd toward us to make his furious demand.
“Bring out the girl, Bellamy!”
We each flinched at the sound, as we stood in a tense silence. There was an obvious sense of shock still in the air as we struggled to even comprehend that this innocent child had confessed to such a heinous crime. It seemed impossible, no matter how hard I tried to understand it and I couldn’t even begin to think how we could manage this turn of events.
“Why, Charlotte?” Bellamy pleaded with an intense hurt in his words which pulled me from my thoughts.
“I was just trying to slay my demons like you told me.” Charlotte defended, prompting Clarke to square up to him again.
“What the hell is she talking about?” She spat, glowering at him with the same entitled accusing manner that she had to Murphy.
Seeing her behave as if she had learned nothing from the consequences of her actions only flared my temper again and I edged closer to catch her attention. When she met my eyes she was granted with a viscous glare that demonstrated exactly how close I felt to completely losing my temper with her getting in Bellamy’s face. This seemed enough to dent her confidence, as she shrunk back slightly from him.
“She misunderstood me.” He breathed as devastation filled his face.
“Charlotte.” He muttered as he turned to face her again. “That is not what I meant.”
Even without knowing the context of their interaction, I recognised that this had been an attempt for him to do the right thing. In some way, it had backfired in a catastrophic manner and this realisation was crushing him. The strain of leadership was beginning to take its toll, leaving him looking exhausted and fearful. My heart ached in sympathy for him, wishing that I could ease the burden.
“Bring the girl out. Now!”
With every moment that passed, Murphy’s aggravation increased. It was inevitable that the longer we took to find a solution, the worse his behaviour would devolve. Staring at the tent door with a sense of dread, I strained to produce any suggestions.
“Please don’t let them hurt me!” Charlotte gasped, leaning closer to Bellamy for protection.
He regarded the young girl with such a heart wrenched expression that I could practically share in his pain. It was as if she had elicited the same sense of protectiveness that was usually only reserved for Octavia, demonstrating a side of him that few seemed to be aware he possessed.
“Okay.” He sighed, turning to face Clarke and Finn with his arms held out in desperation. “If you guys have any bright ideas, speak up.”
The silence that followed was deafening as they both stared back at him with entirely blank expressions, causing a shared feeling of frustration between Bellamy and I. It was the quietest I had ever seen them, keen to interrupt any suggestions Bellamy had, publicly tearing him down for all of his decisions. I could hardly believe that they were behaving so cluelessly now that we had an actual crisis to manage.
“Now you stay quiet!” He snapped with disbelief, his hands coming to rest on his hips.
“Hey. Those are your boys out there.” Finn commented in a poor excuse at a defense and I found myself growing frustrated with his commitment to defending Clarke, even when it was her self righteous attitude that had caused this entire scenario.
“This is not my fault!” Bellamy argued as his voice rose to match the anger that was developing within me. “If she’d listened to me those idiots would still be building the wall!”
Clarke broke off from the boys, pacing around with her head in her hands. Meanwhile, Bellamy and Finn continued their staring match, growing increasingly intense against the backdrop of raised voices from outside.
“We need to set laws.” I stated in an effort to prevent the situation from deteriorating between us too. “It’s true that Clarke’s accusations caused a mob mentality, but now we’re dealing with a child. They will have a harder time rallying people to kill her.” I pointed out and Bellamy snuck an appreciative smile at me over his shoulder.
“Not everyone here has the same morals as you, Indie.” Finn sighed, seeming distraught at his own words. “There are people who would have no problem with killing a kid, especially the idiot yelling right now.”
“They are the minority. We need to win over the majority.” I insisted, confident that with the right approach we could gain support. “Our best way to do that is to present them with a plan and explain our reasoning. We should announce a punishment that is appropriate for her age. Show that there is still a consequence for what she did. It will set a precedent for all of the younger campers and that should buy us some time to figure out how we deal with offenses for the older criminals so what happened to Murphy never happens again. They’ve accepted rules to protect others before. We can do this if we present it right.”
Before anyone could provide an opinion on this idea, Murphy’s cries interrupted as his voice rose into a furious growl.
“Hey! You want to build a society, Princess? Let’s build a society. Bring her out!”
“No! Please, Bellamy!” Charlotte begged as she startled, her legs beginning to tremble with the power of her terror.
Bellamy closed his eyes for a moment in a bid to contain the waves of emotions that radiated from him. It was clear that her cries for help were destroying him inside and I couldn’t imagine how responsible he felt for this outcome.
With a deep breath, he crouched down to her level. Taking her shoulders carefully in his hands as he had done for me many times, he met her eyes with a gentle expression.
“Charlotte. Hey. It’s gonna be okay.” He breathed, forcing a reassuring smile.
I was stunned by the shift in his demeanour. It was the first time I’d been able to witness this softer side of him, completely absent of any self preservation. Even when he had allowed himself to be vulnerable with me, there was always some degree of barrier to keep me at a distance. The way that he studied her was with genuine care and concern and it was jarring to observe.
“Just stay with them.” He advised, nodding toward Clarke and Finn.
Although I waited for him to explain his intentions, he remained tight lipped. Reflectively, he glanced back at me as he straightened up, then stepped away to leave the tent. My feet moved before I could catch myself and I snatched his arm, clinging onto him to prevent him from leaving without me.
“Hell no!” I blurted, causing him to whip around to face me with confusion. “I’m coming with you. It was my suggestion to attempt to reason with them. If it doesn’t work, I’ll be there to back you up.”
His eyes bore into mine, communicating his reluctance to allow me to take this risk beside him without even a single word spoken. The air felt heavy between us, but the intensity of his gaze failed to move me, digging my heels in stubbornly. Eventually, he surrendered the effort and I was relieved that he didn’t fight me on the matter. As he stepped out, I turned back to the others.
“Take her out of camp. We’ll find you when it’s safe.” I ordered, feeling that we needed a safety net for this plan, before following after Bellamy.
When I emerged, he had already made a start on attempting to quiet Murphy. Leaning past the two large men, I noticed that Octavia was standing at the front of the crowd with Jasper and Monty and my stomach sunk. It was understandable that they had come to investigate the commotion, but I couldn’t help feeling on edge with them amongst people who had rioted out of control barely an hour ago.
Murphy lost his interest in Bellamy’s pleas, turning his back on him to appeal to the rest of camp.
“So! Who here wants to see the real murderer hung up?” He called out to the gathered campers in a flamboyant presentation. “All in favour.”
Raising his hand to encourage the others, he was only joined by approximately ten others who were exclusively members of Bellamy’s militia. It was strange to witness how shocked he was by this development, as if he had expected more people to be supportive of murdering a child. This lack of solidarity seemed to be the last straw for him, triggering him into mania.
“I see.” He growled, warming into a new level of anger. “So it’s fine to string me up for nothing, but when this little bitch confesses you want to let her walk?!” He screeched, staring out into his audience in disbelief.
“Be reasonable! She’s a fucking child, Murphy.” I snapped as my distaste for him deepened and my glowering face easily communicated how disgusted I was by the fact that he couldn’t grasp why hanging a child was wrong.
“Cowards!” He yelled as he discarded my jab at him, instead launching into a hysterical tirade at the crowd. “All of you are cowards!”
“Murphy!”
It took a few seconds for me to recognise the stern voice as Bellamy’s, having lost any self control for a few moments. He was fortunately able to rapidly regain his calm demeanour and once Murphy’s screaming had been overpowered, he was able to gain his attention. He strode over to the wild eyed man and leaned into his space in an intimidating manner. In this posture, their height difference seemed far more substantial as he stared into Murphy’s furious face.
“Hey, Murphy!” Bellamy lost his patience for a moment, raising his voice over Murphy’s screams and striding toward him, whilst I hung behind assessing the situation. Bellamy squared up to him, looking down in an intimidating manner due to their slight height difference and causing him to shrink slightly.
“It’s over.” Bellamy warned, causing his opponent to shrink back slightly beneath him until he shrugged carelessly.
“Whatever you say boss.” He muttered, stepping backwards and throwing his arms out in a mocking bow.
I was blindsided by the calm attitude that he displayed. Something about this response felt inauthentic to me; perhaps because I had been a captive audience to Murphy’s antics in prison. There were instances that had traumatised me, given me an insight into the type of behaviour that could be expected from him. He was deep rooted with a disrespect for authority that often triggered a violence reaction to any form of humiliation. I’d never seen him forgive, always known him to hold a grudge and heard stories of how ruthless his revenge could be.
This history left me feeling doubtful of his surrender and scrutinising him more closely than Bellamy thought necessary. When he turned his back on the threat, it followed him like a tiger stalking its prey. Despite my best efforts to barge my way between them, I couldn’t reach them in time before Murphy stooped down to grab a log from the firewood, using it to wallop Bellamy over the head.
Octavia yelled out in fury, throwing herself at him but fortunately Jasper didn’t miss a beat. He immediately shielded her, taking the full force of the punch on her behalf and slumping to the ground. Octavia weaved past the confrontation to cradle her unconscious brother in her lap, leaving me torn between protecting them and guarding the entrance to the tent.
“Come on.” Murphy ordered, turning his attention to his target. “Let’s get the girl.”
I stepped to the side, firmly placing myself in his path. The moment that our eyes met, my expression grew dark despite the smirk that he wore. Regardless of how much I sympathised with his treatment, I had no intention of allowing him to obtain Charlotte and I couldn’t be sure that Clarke and Finn had followed my plan. I had no choice than to guard the tent as if she were in there.
“I’ll tear you apart with my bare hands before I let you near her.” I snarled, baring my teeth at him from the strength of my anger.
“I guess you’ve moved on from protecting your other girl then?” He suggested, stepping back toward Octavia with a mocking smile that crumbled away any remaining self control I had.
“I’ll fucking kill you!” I screamed as I tackled him to the ground, pounding his cackling face with one punch after another.
The rush of adrenaline and disgust gifted me with a strength of much more intensity than usual. Mbege managed to drag me off his friend initially, but I elbowed him in the crotch and threw myself back on top of Murphy. I pulled my arm back to strike him again when the world rose up to meet my face and everything went black.

Bellamy Blake x Oc
Lemony (elle) Randall
‘Elle’ pronounced ‘L’.
The low buzzing of various machines and mechanical structures fell in sink with each other as Elle sighed and rolled over on her cell cot for at least the hundredth time in the past hour. It was no use, she finally decided and forced her aching body into a sitting position. Her pounding head and her already blurry vision became worse as she strained to see the three grey wall’s in front of her. In a sleepless haze, she attempted to locate her too weak prescription glasses which should have been just under her bed where she left them. She couldn't feel them so Elle rested her whole body weight on her front and looked under the bed, finding that her glasses had mysteriously moved towards the back wall.
“ Why me?” She grunted as she sat up again and asked if she really needed them to survive. The answer was, of course, yes, but Elle really didn't want to have crawl under her bed to retrieve them. Sighing again she flopped onto the floor and stretched her arms forwards, almost grasping one of the frail frames. After a few minutes of this meaningless struggle, she decided to just face the thick layer of dust that stuck to the floor like carpeting and grabbing the frames of her ugly glasses.
“God I hate you” She mumbled as she slid back out from underneath the bed and placed the glasses on top of her head, using them instead to hold her hair back from falling into her face rather than to actually see with.
Elle Stood up and brushed off the remaining dust off of her black worn jeans and a simple v-neck khaki t-shirt. She pushed the remainder of her golden blonde hair off of her shoulders and proceeded to make the bed she had attempted to sleep in.
Sleeping had always been hard for Elle. She didn't know whether it was the lack of human contact or the amount of noise the Ark provided that kept her up but on the bright side now she had more time to think. In another life Elle thought that she might have been an author; she loved to think up stories of what if? But most of the time she just thought about how different her life would be if she was wanted.
Elle was not a prisoner of the Ark in the way that the only crime she had committed was being born at the wrong time in the wrong year with the wrong chancellor being in command. This evidently led to her current situation, standing in the middle of the room she at called home for almost 18 years. On her eighteenth birthday, Elle would be allowed to go to trial and enter the population of the ark. That promise was the only thing keeping her sane but the thought of being surrounded by people utterly terrified her.
Just as Elle had finished clearing her bed a sharp knock erupted throughout the room and her blue eyes quickly darted to the door. She looked over at the clock hanging on her wall and noticed that no guard should be here yet with her daily ration. She furrowed her eyebrows in confusion but complied with the standard protocol with Elles type of case, which stated that if a door is knocked upon in a prison cell, the prisoner had 30 seconds to move to the centre of the room so the guards may enter. Elle Moved to the centre of the room just in time for a young guard to walk in with a panicked expression on his face. Elle noted to herself that the boy didn’t look much older than her self and she felt herself go numb with anxiety. He didn’t act the same as the other guards. Seeming kinder and understanding. It must have been his first day.
“ Hands behind your back,” he said and quickly glanced at the wall on the other side of the door, where all of her info was kept, “ Lemony?” He smirked, finding her Name quite amusing.
“ I actually prefer prisoner 743 or Elle, is that not still written up there?” she mumbled under her breath.
the boy looked immensely confused and began to step back slightly to look back at the wall before he realized that she was kidding.
“ohh a witty one!” he mocked to try and hide his rose-tinted cheeks.
Elle rolled her eyes, ‘no not really’, but complied quickly and quietly, not wanting to get into any trouble at all. She looked at the Boy and noticed he was in quite a hurry to move her. He softly grasped onto the pale flesh of her upper arm. The boy had longish Black curly hair, which corresponded with his perfect olive skin and freaked cheeks. He was handsome which only made Elle feel even more awkward.
The boy hurriedly led Elle out of her cell and into the outer skybox. Elle stared in awe as she stared at all of the of prisoners being led out of their own rooms and down a couple of paths and stairways until the reached a large room filled with seats. The room was half full people around her and the boy’s age she would have guessed but to be perfectly honest she had no idea. To the right of her, she noticed a ladder And the guard urged her towards it almost like he was more eager to get out of sight than she was. Once she reached it Elle looked up and saw there were two more floors. She looked towards the guard who had his head turned to look anxiously and all of the people who were already sat down like he was looking for someone. when he noticed that Lemony Wasnt moving he looked at her with a furrowed expression on his face.
“ You going up or not, Darl’in?” he said and as soon as the words rolled off of his tough Elle’s cheeks turn a dark crimson.
“Do I have a choice?” She asked as she glanced up again and gulped at the height she would have to climb.
He smirked, looking down at the floor and shaking his head. “Nope, not really,” he said and turned his head again. Another guard entered the room clutching a blonde girl as she lulled about unconsciously in his arms. She must have put up one hell of a fight for the guards to use a tranquillizer on her, Elle thought.
Elle glanced at the young guard again to see he was already looking at her, waiting for her to start moving. She took this as her cue to climb up the thin ladder with the guard closely following behind. When she placed her feet on the second floor she felt the guards hand on the small of her back as he motioned for her to take one of the last seats on this level. As she did so Elle could feel everyone’s eyes boring into her. Her head began to race and she felt her cheeks heat up an unhealthy amount.
“ Who the hell is she?” she heard someone say. “does anyone know her?”
One girl looked up at her in awe and Elle looked back in pure confusion, “ She's so pretty” the girl once again shook her head. “I would recognise a face like that!”
“Probably got done for-” others laughed.
“Whore!” , “Slut!” more shouted and Lemony could feel the guard’s eyes linger on her figure.
“Oi! Sit down and shut up!” he bellowed At the young delinquents.
Elle felt a wave of emotion course through her body and she became light headed. She wasn’t used to people at all so when they began to taunt her she was submerged, drowning almost. Blinking rapidly she attempted to refocus her mind on something else. Her anxious thoughts consumed her and fuzzy black dots began to fill her vision. Elle felt as if she might faint until her eyes eventually closed and she could no longer make out the hushed murmurings that surrounded her.
“Hey.” A quiet voice whispered. Elle could just make out the sound of people cheering as she felt a cool breeze tickle against her face. she felt someone shaking her shoulders.
“Hey, wake up.” The same voice stated a little louder than before. She felt her eyes involuntary flutter open but immediately close again as a bright light penetrated her vision.
As her vision somewhat cleared she could see a dark-skinned boy kneeling in front of her, his hand was lightly smacking her face in an effort to wake her.
“My glas-ses?” she trembled, as tears began to prick at her eyes. She felt sick to her stomach, her whole body aching as her joints unstiffened and she became more fluid. Lemony felt like she had just walked ten thousand miles only to be hit by a truck.
“Oh, sure,” he said as he reached up above her head and carefully removed them from her unruly hair. The boy opened up her glasses and placed her on her nose so that she could see.
“I’m Well’s by the way” he grinned sweetly, noticing Elle’s stressed state. She forced a smile back and wiped her salt sodden cheeks with the sleeve that was tightly grasped between her fingers, turning her knuckles an ugly shade of white.
“Elle, My name is Elle.” She sniffed. Elle glanced around the room and noticed that she and Wells were the only two left on this floor. However, people were still filing down the ladder from the floor above.
“Where is everyone going? We only just sat down.” She asked wells who was still trying to unbuckle her tight seat belt. Apparently, her belt hadn’t automatically opened like everyone else. Just her fucking luck.
When Elle looked back at Wells’ face she saw shock evident on his face.
“ What was the last thing you remember?” He asked, still trying to free her from to restraints.
“ Well, I was led into a room, made to climb a ladder and then forced to sit in this seat. After that, I listened to people call me a whore just because they didn’t recognise me, which is completely beside the point because if I was the Arks whore all of those twats would have known me because I guarantee that no girl in her right mind would put up with that amount of douchebaggery unless she was being paid.” She muttered bluntly which caused Wells to roll his eyes.
“ Okay, Smartass.” Wells smiled. Eventually, he managed to forcefully unlock her and held out one of his hands to take, Elle accepted but as soon as her body straitened she became light headed again and swayed against Wells’ body.
“Let’s get you downstairs with the others,” He said in a soft voice before grasping her wrist and leading her towards the Ladder. Wells went down first and when his feet firmly planted on the ground he took a few steps back and expectantly looked up. He smiled at her unwillingness and shook his head.
“Come on L.” He smiled. God this boy was smiley. Elle huffed and grasped onto the ladder tightly before making her quick descent. Once she too made it on to the bottom floor the presence of people cause her breath to hitch in her throat and butterflies formed in her stomach. She looked at Wells who was staring at the boy who had escorted her onto the dropship.
The boy tightly hugged a girl who had just walked up to him, her long brown hair effortlessly cascading down her back.
“What the Hell is going on Wells?” Elle whispered into his ear as the guard’s eyes locked with hers briefly.
“We’ve landed” he muttered in utter disbelief.
“Wha-” Elle started but was cut by the loud hissing.

Summary: Meave Collins, The Dark Angel, was born as Finn Collins younger sister, the only exception to the one child rule. She grew up in Mecha Station, finding out she had blue blood. Never knowing what it was made her curious to ask about it, but she kept one strict rule with her. Never tell anyone, not even her brother. As outlawer she was arrested and placed in the Sky Box, waiting till she would be floated. Only, little did she know, she and 99 other teenagers were send to the ground to see if it was survivable again. On the ground, she meets family, friends and enemies. Will she pick the side of the grounders or the side of her own people. Hard decisions have to be made if she wants to be accepted by everyone around her and will she finally find love or will the truth about her blood betray her before the time comes.
Timeline: The story begins between Blood Must Have Blood Part 2 and Wanheda Part 1.
Relationship: King Roan Kom Azgeda x Meave Collins (OC)
Fandom: The 100
Chapter 1: ~All For Ourselves~
Everything happened so fast when we heard we were sent to the ground all those months ago. I was so grateful to finally get out of that shithole and once on the ground it felt like a dream when I was reunited with my brother, Finn Collins, and my two best friends, Monty Green and Jasper Jordan.
Sadly, of course not everything turned out so pretty as it looked because what we didn't know was that we weren't the only living beings on earth.
We took note of that rather quickly when Octavia was saved from what looked like a water snake by my brother and Jasper was speared by an unknown figure when he tried to jump to the other side of that same damned lake.
It wasn't easy for any of us knowing we, some still teenagers back then, were surrounded by threats and it didn't take long before my forming wrath was fuelled even more by Jasper's deadly injuries and Monty's disappearance....
However, that all wasn't the worst part living on Earth for me.
It was the moment when Clarke tried to arrange an arrangement with the second Heda, Lexa, so we could finally live in peace together.
According to her, the only option to restore our so-called peace was to sacrifice my brother because he was the one to shoot Tondc after all. After that incident I lost the only family member left and decided to make a promise to never bond with anyone again to save me the broken heart and broken emotions.
I had always been an outsider.
A chill breeze tickled Meave's face and made her loose sandy bronde with ash blonde lowlights colored hair wave through the air while she was sitting by a calming lake in Arkadia, drowning into her own thoughts.
It was currently day 43 since Clarke had retreated herself into the wilderness. Most of Skaikru began to pick up their lives again while the remaining group were only wishing for it to be over soon and most of the amenities were wearing off as well which was a big concern.
Outside of the worries about the amenities, Meave was also genuinely concerned about the welfare of Murphy. She had no idea where he had left off to and he hadn't said anything about leaving so she grew more and more worried as the days passed by without seeing him.
Another thing that really bothered her was the situation Jasper found himself in.
During the Mount Weather fight his love was taken from him and even though she didn't know Maya well, Jasper appeared to be heartbroken by her death.
He had lost his way of living and no matter how hard Meave worked to bring the old him back, nothing worked and he only pushed the kind girl away more and more. He was completely isolating himself from everyone else and it grew even so bad he started to get violent towards them so Meave began to give up, giving him some space instead of help. Monty on the other hand couldn't care less about his violent behavior and, no matter what, kept on trying to help him cope with his girl's death even though he didn't want Monty's help either.
It broke her to see Jasper this way, but she had already needed to protect herself against him once and she simply couldn't help him. He was too far gone to cure him with just talking. He needed professional attention, but the medbay was already full and nobody seemed to understand how bad his situation really was.
Monty had told Meave he would keep her informed about his situation and that it was best if she moved on and find something else to do in the meantime so she did.
While Monty helped his best friend, Meave on the other hand began to train with Bellamy and Lincoln with the idea of letting Monty do his thing.
Bellamy, Lincoln, Murphy, Monty and Kane were actually the only ones who really cared about her since day 1 and the girl figured it would be better to stick with people who wanted her around, rather than stick with people who don't even like her or don't want to have anything to do with her.
With a sigh she got up from where she was sitting and decided to make her way to the training rooms, following personal training with Lincoln and Bellamy before the class really started.
After a little sparring with Bellamy, she returned to the lockers on the opposite side of the fighting area and stretched her neck before opening the locker that belonged to her.
From behind her she could hear the grunting and panting that came from both Lincoln and Bellamy as they were heavily training in the background and her hand dug into her locker.
Moving around a little, it took a moment before she finally found her clean towel underneath all her other stuff and Meave wet it a bit to pat her sweaty face.
In the corner of her eye the girl could see Bellamy not being able to dodge a side punch in time and by hooking a foot behind both of Bellamy's legs, Lincoln could easily knock him down which made Bellamy stumble backwards and roughly fall back onto his back.
Bellamy was always bragging about how strong he was towards the group and even towards Lincoln and it seemed he got what he deserved now.
Meave smiled at Bellamy while he made his way to her, stopping right next to her locker to open his own.
"He defeated your ass." The girl laughed and slapped him on his chest with the wet towel that was still in her hands, not seeing his action of snatching it out of them coming. "Hey, what do you think you're doing!"
"Borrowing your towel, is that a problem?" He stared at her with a cocky face expression and she playfully shook her head at his comment.
"I don't want my towel to be full of your sweat." Meave shrugged as she pointed her finger at his bare chest. "Oh and get dressed, you asshole."
"Pair up and fight. Now!"
Lincoln was quick to explain what the group had to do and in no time the crowd went their separate ways to choose a partner based on their weaknesses.
Meave was too distracted at the time by everything that was happening in her surroundings, but even she noticed the glimp of concern in Bellamy's eyes and the way he acted and it worried her deeply.
She had noticed everything seemed to worry her, but that was just the way of living down on Earth.
"Bellamy.... are you okay?"
His eyes switched to her after she tapped his shoulder.
"Yeah, I'm fine. Just heard something about the Ice Nation so I wanted to ask Lincoln about it." The curious girl tilted her head at him, her body filling up with confusion while he was pretending like it was a normal everyday subject as he pulled a simple grey shirt over his head. "You'll see what I'm talking 'bout." Bellamy quickly added before signing to Lincoln to come over to them which caused Lincoln to get worried too.
He probably had seen the concern in Bellamy's eyes as well.
Lincoln walked towards them with a fast pace while grabbing his bottle of water to clench his thirst.
"Lincoln, what do you know about Azgeda?"
"Azgeda? When did you hear about that?" Lincoln had furrowed his eyebrows as Bellamy messed up his hair a bit.
"A few days ago." He answered seriously, but seemed not that aware about who they were or why Lincoln reacted so mysteriously.
"Azgeda is a grounder clan ruled as a kingdom.... they are merciless grounders. Azgeda has a reputation for being ruthless and aggressive and has hostile relations with some of the other clans, mostly Trikru. Their location on Earth stretches for a thousand miles and Azgeda borders the Trikru area at Sector 8. It isn't good to cross paths with those people." Lincoln stopped for a moment to look Meave in the eyes with his stern and anxious facial expression for no reason. "Now, don't get curious, understand?"
"And why is that Lincoln?" She stubbornly questioned him, knowing what he meant, but not actually wanting to believe what he was referring to.
"Rumours told me the Dark Angel is a very curious person, who broke pretty much all the laws that someone can think of back at the Ark." There it was, the warning and secret judgment she was fearing. "Just tell her to not let that curiosity walk around freely again." He raised his brow at her which made her roll her eyes.
Meave knew people were still careful and afraid around her, even though she broke those damn laws to save and help people, but she wasn't like her anymore.
"Fine...." The defeated girl sighed and crossed her arms. "It's none of my business anyway. Oh and by the way, Bellamy? I heard you're going to fill in more gaps on the map.... could you take me with you next time?"
"I will keep it in my mind." She nodded at Bellamy and thanked him for considering it before patting Lincoln on his back. Having said goodbye to both of them, Meave walked out of the room and into the hallway.
Bellamy knew how down she felt around most of the people here and to be fair, she was more useful helping than sitting around doing nothing while letting the rest do it so she hoped he would really keep in her mind.
Meave wandered a few long and boring hallways and opened her room with the silver key that was hanging around her slender neck.
Her room was the furthest away from the workout room or any of the important rooms in general and that was a curse if she was defeated in a tough fight or was just tired because it took ages to get there. Fortunately, she was feeling fit today so it wasn't much of a big deal.
Instead of slamming the heavy door shut behind her back, she gently closed it and jumped onto her bed to lay down.
Her bed wasn't the biggest, but it wasn't the smallest either and she was alone anyway so it didn't matter much anyway. She didn't need all that space if it wasn't going to be filled up by someone any time soon.
Meave's thoughts swirled around her and she became bored quickly. She had already cleaned up everything in her room and had already spent her whole morning training so she actually had no idea what to do for the rest of the day.
After a few minutes of silence she decided to read a little and perhaps pay a visit to Monty and Jasper afterwards.
She picked up the book from her bedside table and right when she wanted to read the first sentence she immediately noticed she couldn't focus on the words at all. Her dark hazel eyes with gray flecks in them made the letters dance around the pages and her mind drifted off to her memories as soon as she had laid the book back down.
Meave had to be honest and say that at first she clearly hated the grounders after they had slaughtered her friends and indirectly her brother too, but after a while she finally understood their side of the story and now it seemed the girl was more invested in their culture than her own. Probably because Meave tried to find another path because she figured she didn't belong anywhere in this world.... in space or on earth.... she just never fitted in and definitely not with her own people, Skaikru.
Skaikru actually made that very clear to her after her actions on the Ark were exposed to the public eye and were labelled as aggressive violation of the law instead of what it actually was.
The lies that were being spread about the woman caused hatred and anger. However, somehow one of the highest ranking people in the council was determined to stop the chaos and has been taking her under his wing ever since Clarke left.... even before her disappearance as well.
Meave still didn't have a clue why Kane took her under his protection, but even if she didn't really need it and she had been the one who made their lives on the ark so difficult, she of course appreciated it nonetheless.
Meave never had a great family, except for her brother, and when he passed away she really had nothing left to lose.
Luckily that feeling was reduced by Kane and the group she was now befriended with trying to help her and she is still so grateful for that.
"Nova? Would you mind playing some music?"
"Yes ma'am~ what song would you like to hear?"
"I have no idea, just turn on my playlist." Her online system was processing her command and Meave sighed in the meantime. She could feel her eyelids becoming heavy while she grew more annoyed and bored by the second. "How was your day, Nova?"
"I am still a programmed online intelligent system. You must stop asking me that question day after day because I still won't be able to answer it no matter how many hours, minutes, or seconds fly by. I don't live and that means I can't enjoy my day or even live one.... do you want to know what kind of weather it'll be tomorrow?" The bored woman cursed under her breath and slammed her clenched fist on top of the small table next to her bed which made an old glass of hers filled with water fall to the floor.
"No. I don't like to know about the weather." She rolled to her stomach, trying to lay down comfortably, while answering Nova.
"Ha ha ha ha...."
"Nova?"
"Battery low."
"You got to be bloody fucking kidding me.... fucking electronics."
Too lazy to clean the mess up that she had caused, she quickly put Nova in the charger and let an old coin of hers roll through her slender fingers after she laid down again. It was one of her little habits that showed up when she got nervous or had to think hard.
She didn't know why, but the word Azgeda made a wave of nervous feelings rush through her body and she didn't like where her thoughts were going. Wanheda.... Commander of Death.... obtain great powers when taking her head. Azgeda.... merciless grounders.
Clarke had to be found and protected again or else she would be dead within a few days, if she wasn't dead already. Everybody knew about the blond woman's bounty by now and if Azgeda is really what they are said to be, merciless, they would want her head on a plate as soon as possible so they could obtain her deadly 'power'.
Meave quickly got off her bed and rushed to her wardrobe to get changed and make a plan to retrieve some supplies for her dangerous trip without anyone realising she took them.
She got dressed into her most used black and white jacket. The fur in the collar was still fluffy even after everything that happened on Earth and the leather combined with the fur made it her warmest jacket so it was the smartest idea to take it with her. Her hair was braided and she tied a matching black and white bandana around her neck before quickly grabbing a huge backpack that was hidden somewhere under a pile of clothing.
Meave casually walked out of her room, hoping nobody would find out what she was actually trying to do and silently sneaked into the kitchen. She knew if the wrong person would find out what she was planning to do, they would lock her up, acting like she was mentally unstable until she would finally give in to their rules and laws.
That wasn't going to happen though.
Stealing as much dried food as was needed for her to survive, she also stored water as well. It was hard to find or produce clean water and definitely if she was going into a cold area where it could all be frozen.
After collecting important necessities for the trip, Meave sneaked back into her room and as she did so, she filled a smaller backpack from when they arrived on Earth with everything that she had found and that was essential for the trip. Besides the food and water, she had also packed important products, dry, clean clothing because of the frozen landscapes and to finish it all, she tied a rolled-up tent to the backpack and her sword to her hip.
After a minute of trying to make a decision, Meave eventually decided to climb through the window because the chance to encounter someone was less that way, even though if she got caught it would look horribly suspicious.
The woman examined the best route to go outside of their camp when she was outward, but was soon reminded of the fact that the walls were improved and the gate was closed and highly guarded as well.
Shit.
Her plan slowly began to fail and she desperately grabbed an iron rod to try and tear the steel plate off the wall, even bending it was enough as long as she could fit through it.
Thanks to the good luck she suddenly received, she could lift one up to get under it and she recklessly ran into the forest as fast as possible.
Running as fast as she could, Meave still managed to hear the people from Arkadia shouting and arguing whether she was a grounder trying to get in or that she was one of them escaping camp. She had to thank the people who believed she was with Skiakru later because if it wasn't for those people she would have been shot by now.
She walked further and further into the direction of the North and kept walking without looking back to our camp.
Exploring caves inside and out and climbing trees to get a better look at her surroundings, there were no signs of life anywhere she went, but she couldn't give it. Every few meters that passed, Meave carved weird symbols into the trees that were located out of sight of others so that if she would find Clarke, she would find the way 'home' faster as well. A couple of hours in, it was already getting darker and colder.
The further she walked into her direction, the colder it got which meant she was getting closer to the North side of their Earth.
"Well, Clarke... where are you hiding?"
