Thoughts on Mako?

I really like Mako but I have the base character with extensive HC wrapped around him lmao

first of all if she could Lin would Adopt him she is his son (Bolin favors Su and that is top of his list of sins) he calls her mom when they're not in uniform and his children call her Grammy Lin or Grammy chief when shes in uniform.

i have a whole family my friends and I made up for him and i willl add their tag to this post so yall can go seee them i love them so much.

mako meets Rina while they're in Zaofu in B3 and they really hit it off. in book 4 he's got Twin fire bending babies and they are like 3 on the verge of 4 years old i think??? Rina is on one of the first trains out and they find her later in the FN refugee camps and bring them back to ATI to stay while their house is rebuilt.

but for actual thoughts on mako i think its so fun that he is the only one of the Krew who did not have a love interest after book 2 lmao

hes a good kid but needs a lot of guidance boy lost everything as a kid and now hes so worried about losing everything again, the krew cannot catch a breakkk like i think the timeline between book 1 start and book 3 end is less than a year???

i like how he was a naturally good detective and how the show depicts that but hes headstrong and thinks he can break the rules when they dont serve him instead of find ways to bend them

i like that he got his big self sacrifice moment and that hes still got some scars from it
