What Was Meant to Be: Origins ○ Part 1
Rise Ramblings #149
When watching Rise, you can tell that these turtles are, different, than the other iterations. From their inception these boys were created purposefully as opposed to accidentally.
Tumblr media Tumblr media
Likewise, the turtles are different from every other mutant created in the show. The other mutants were made by chance: a random human with whatever animal or living creature (or plant) that human just so happened to interact with last. As a result, the possibilities are endless, but non-specific.
Tumblr media
Yet, the turtles were created with a purpose: not just to be mutants, but to be weapons of mass destruction designed to carry out Draxum’s master plan.
Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media
All he had to do was to train them: to train their bodies (and minds) to be the super soldiers he had destined them to be.
But there was a hitch.
Tumblr media
With no lab, and with no turtles, his plan had ended in failure...
That is until some troublesome turtle teens stumbled into his rebuilt lab thirteen years later.
Tumblr media
And just like that, his plan was back on.
Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media
But time and time again, the turtles chose to refuse him. So to Baron, what good are weapons he cannot use.
Tumblr media
Someone else had tarnished his weapons by teaching them to think for themselves and by allowing them to be themselves...
Tumblr media
So if the turtles didn't become the weapons that they were meant to be, then what did the turtles become? Tomato-I mean, Hamatos. ○○○○ Next | What They Became: Origins ○ Part 2

Y'all ever think about how the Turtles are just the embodiment of the lyrics "Teenagers scare the living shit out of me!" Like they're a bunch of funny, goofy, silly guys but also they are extremely strong, very skilled, very dangerous mutants with the abilities to take on whole armies with just the FOUR of them.
Like you all ever think about the villains who at first just see these goofy ass teenagers and are like: "Ah they're just a bunch a babies! I can take in a few babies!" THE BABIES GOT A FUCKING KNIFE!!! Like the whiplash these guys probably get from getting their asses kicked by a bunch of kids who mainly eat pizza and say stupid shit like "Cowabunga!" It's fucking terrifying and hilarious 🤣🤣🤣

Draxum and the turtles sit down over some tea and Draxum's all like "I am deeply sorry I took all of the momentum out of my villainous dramatics"
-🔮🕸
I had. a thought. Welp, here goes.
-- -- --
"Cookies, anyone?" one of the flappy shoulder-pad-thingy guys offers, holding a platter out to Donnie, his brothers, and April as they sit awkwardly around the kitchen table in the what's only the third kitchen they've ever been in their entire lives. (Minus April, of course.)
"Soooo... you're serious about making us? Serious-serious?" Leo drawls, his fingers rubbing idly at the hilt of his (brand new, recently stolen) sword.
"Of course I made you! I would recognize my best work anywhere," answers Baron Draxum, the... yokai, if Donnie understood him correctly. "I'd thought you'd been destroyed with my lab, all those years ago, but to find you survived... it's incredible!"
The man moves his hands along with the first half of his speech before remembering they don't recognize his sign language--and that's a whole other level of crazy to this situation, that there are entire languages in use here that Donnie's never even heard of. He'd always hoped that there was more intelligent life somewhere in the universe, but to think it was right under New York this whole time--!
"Can confirm! Huginn and I were here when he made you!" chirps the other flappy shoulder guy, this one fulfilling his duties as a shoulder pad and looking rather smug for being such a tiny guy on a very large goat-man's shoulder.
"And that was with-- just to double check here-- the DNA of the missing action star Lou Jitsu?" April asks incredulously, accepting a cookie from the tray.
A nod.
She whistles. "Man, this would make that conspiracy girl from school absolutely freak."
Baron Draxum tilts his head and makes a vaguely conversational noise. Probably didn't quite hear her, then, Donnie knows the signs. April doesn't quite seem to notice, because she moves on with a new question:
"So why did you make four mutant turtles anyway?"
"I need them to destroy humanity with me," Draxum says evenly, and wow, that's a statement to suck all the energy out of the room if Donnie's ever heard one. Everyone seems to still like a deer caught in the headlights (except for Raph, busily stuffing cookies in his mouth, and glancing around in confusion when the room goes silent).
"It wouldn't be easy, necessarily, or quick, but with the aid of my recently developed mosquitos to aid in creating more mutants, I would have a viable army in a matter of months," Draxum continues. "You could be my generals, my righteous warriors! I will lead the yokai to freedom and glory with the four of you at my side!"
And Donnie doesn't know this guy at all, but he happens to be fluent enough in 'morally grey mad scientist' to recognize that this guy is dead serious.
"Oh. So you're crazy crazy," Mikey mutters behind a hand, at a volume far to close too normal for that kind of comment. Baron Draxum tilts his head slightly, narrowing his eyes, and fuck, Donnie can't tell for the life of him if that's a "didn't quite catch that" face or a "you've got ten seconds to run" face.
"...you'll join me, won't you?" he asks, and something in his voice is suddenly sharp and dangerous under his pleasant tone, like there's a very clear right answer here. Donnie's heart sinks as he realizes which one it is.
"Ye-yeah, sure!" Raph jumps in nervously, coughing cookie dust as he rubs the crumbs off his face. "Raph thinks we'll just be leaving now, we, uh, we gotta get home before--"
A flick of the man's wrist and the kitchen doorway is completely blocked by writhing purple vines.
"--and we have so much to talk about, so you aren't going anywhere," the Baron continues, a strained pretense of pleasantry still clinging to his words. "Besides, I have finally recovered you after thirteen years. I can't just let you go."
-- -- --
I have no idea where I would actually go from here, but it's certainly an idea to mess around with.

Rise of the TMNT x Young Justice
Everything's the same but during the Krang invasion the Justice League and Young Justice are dealing with the Krangified people, and protecting the civilians with evacuations. The Team are the ones to find the boys on Coney Island, noticing Raph's phantom form, and the bright light that came from Mikey's portal to the prison dimension. Aqualad and Miss Martian decide to go over and check it out to see what's up.
The boys are disoriented and aren't really able to hide from the two. M'gann senses them when she does a cursory scan of the island. Raph and Donnie are very protective of Leo and Mikey who are both passed out and weak.
- - -
M'gann and Kaldur paused as they made eye contact with two of the four mutant turtles in front of them.
The purple one started slowly hissing barring their teeth at them raising their bo-staff, while the red one growled at them with their twin sai gripped tight.
M'gann clenched her fists, eyes shifting white prepared for a fight, Kaldur raised his hand in front of her.
'Wait Miss Martian, they're protecting someone else, see?' He said within their mind link.
M'gann squinted looking behind the giant mutant, catching a glimpse of two smaller mutants. One in blue who looked like they went through hell, and a smaller orange one curled up next to them shivering as specs of orange spread across their skin.
'Oh, alright diplomacy then?' She asked.
'Diplomacy.' He responded.
"We mean you know harm, we're with the Justice League we simply came to help." Kaldur said, projecting his voice to the turtles.
The red one slowly stopped making noise, and glanced back to their downed friends.
"We don't want any trouble from the League, but if you could get us back to the mainland, we'll be out of your hair." They said,
The purple one whipped their head to the other with a look of shock on his face. "Raph! The Fuck."
"Calm down Donnie, we can trust them a little. I mean Miss Martian and Aqualad aren't really human either, they'd understand." The newly identified Raph said.
Kaldur nodded, "That is true, we can get you across the bay no problem. Miss Martian?"
"Calling Bio-Ship now." M'gann said, at her words the Bio-Ship flew over silently, opening its doors when it landed.
M'gann walked inside Kaldur following, he glanced back at the mutants, who hadn't moved. Kaldur nodded to the ship. Raph picked up the blue turtle, while Donnie picked up the orange turtle. Kaldur smiled at them and continued inside with the turtles behind him.
----
The group sat in awkward silence as they crossed the bay, M'gann looked back at the turtles, the two awake and beginning to tend to the others' injuries.
M'gann took a breath"If you don't mind me asking, what were you doing over there? We saw something big and red, and a flash of light. Was that you?"
Donnie looked up at her as he wrapped the blue one's arm. "You could say that." Was all they said.
Raph sighed, "Sorry it's just we've been running on adrenaline for the past 24 hours or so, But yes that was us."
Kaldur nodded in understanding, "I do have to ask if you know who attacked New York."
Raph grimaced before responding, "An ancient colonist alien species called the Krang."
"Wait the Krang!" M'gann shouted.
"Do you know of them?" Donnie said, head whipping up to her.
"Of course, although they're more or less a myth back home. I took a mythos elective back in what humans call middle school. From the stories the Krang attacked our sister planet, Earth, first in the solar system because it had more resources useful to them. A small army went over to help, killing almost all the Krang with help from Earthlings. Then using a mix of now primitive Martian tech and Earthly magic, they trapped the remaining ones in another dimension." M'gann was a bit breathless by the end of the story.
Kaldur hummed, "I don't believe Atlantis has any of those myths, at least I don't think. I was never one for myths to begin with."
Donnie looked away pulling up his wristband, quickly starting to type out M'gann's story, for later.
"Now that I think about it, I think I've seen a few murals at Mama's hotel, of Earthlings fighting against the Krang." Raph said, finishing up the orange turtle's bandages.
"Where are the Krang now though?" Kaldur asked.
Donnie looked up, "Well there were three left that came out of the portal. We killed the smaller one by closing the portal on it and their Technodrome. The leader is back in the prison dimension, we don't know where Sister Krang is though." He grimaced at his own words, "Lemme check in with Dad real quick." he muttered.
"Wait, do the others know Leon made it?" Raph asked his brother.
Donnie blinked, looking down at the blue turtle who was probably Leon, breathing softly, "Well shit they are so gonna freak, don't wanna be there." He turned his tech band to Leon and took a picture, before sending it to someone, then quickly turning it off. That didn't stop the notification noises from quickly racketing off.
Raph raised a brow at Donnie "You should answer that."
"If I'm answering you're answering." They hissed out.
Raph froze, as the thought of having to face a probably lived father dawned on him, "Alrighty then."
- - -
They exchange contact info so they can talk more to the League about the invasion. M'gann and Kaldur drop them off at the docks at their request.
Once the Bio-Ship is out of sight, the boys are quickly tackled by Splinter, April and Junior. Who then berates the older boys a bit for not calling them about Leon's survival. But aside from that the movie goes as originally shown.
M'gann and Kaldur report back to Batman about what happened, telling them what little the turtles told them about the invasion. The League wants to meet the brothers soon, so the two call them up. They set up a meeting for two-weeks later, on top of Run of The Mill's front building.
- - -
The four hero’s stood on the rooftop two adults, Batman and Black Canary, and two teens, Miss Martian and Aqualad. They were waiting for four other people to show up for a meeting, scheduled for two minutes ago.
“They’re going to be late.” Black Canary said.
“We came early on purpose to see if they would.” Batman responded.
Miss Martian grumbled, ‘First meeting and they’re already being tested.’
Kaldur nodded, ‘As is the world of heroes.’
Then they heard the sound of movement, people making their way to the rooftop behind them.
The heroes turned around to face the oncoming group.
Three humanoids landed on the roof. Raph and Donnie had returned, Raph now wearing an eye patch over his right eye, both now having bandages wrapped around some parts of their body. The other person was a very tall sheep mutant, some taller than Raph. They were scowling a bit, but that seemed to be their resting face.
A short silence floated over the roof before the sheep mutant stepped up to Black Canary and Batman. “My name is Baron Draxum, and my sons have told me that the Justice League wants to talk on the matter of the invasion. Am I to assume you two are the superiors here.”
Batman nodded, not saying a word.
Black Canary nodded with a smile, raising her hand for the sheep mutant to shake, he did. “Yes two of the Leagues apprentices, Aqualad and Miss Martian’ motioning over to the two who waved at the three, Raph and Donnie waved back, ‘Told us about the meeting they had with your children, along with the fact that you most likely know more about the invasion than us. We were wondering if you could provide us with some more information on the attempted invasion.”
Draxum stood for a second in thought before nodding. “We can work with that. But under the circumstances, you will respect the boundaries we will set, and if not then we leave, no three count system. Understood?” He said with a raised eyebrow.
“Of course, we don’t intend to cause you or your family any harm.” Batman said, understanding their secrecy.
“Good.”
----
As the adults talked the teenagers had separated themselves from the conversation after Raph and Donnie had given a synopsis of how the Krang got out of their prison dimension. The heroes agreed that they would need to circle back to Foot Clan at a later date.
“So Raph and Donnie was it?” M’gann asked, trying to start up the conversation.
“Well my full name is Raphael, and theirs is Donatello. And thank you for helping us on Staten.” Raphael said with a toothy grin, rubbing the back of his neck.
“Lord knows we’d hate to have stayed on that trash heap any longer.” Donatello mumbled, tapping away at their wrist phone.
“If you don’t mind me asking how old are you two, you seem too young for a lack of a better word. I’m seventeen, and Miss Martian is sixteen. We've been on the same apprentice team for a little over a year now.” Kaldur said.
“Oh I’m seventeen too, and Don’s sixteen. What’s it like working with older heroes, like you do, I’ve always wanted to be like a full fledged hero.” His voice rose in excitement as he spoke.
The two quickly delved into their thoughts on hero and vigilante work, and what they did.
Donatello sighed, shaking his head fondly as he watched his brother talk about one of his main hyperfixations with Aqualad.
“Can I ask what you’re doing?” Miss Martian asked Donatello.
“Oh this, well my green ally I’m playing the wonderful game Run 3, the most interesting flash game I’d say.”
M’gann laughed lightly, “I’ve heard of flash games, but I thought they were destroyed?”
“Yes but the moment I heard, I backed up all my favorites and then some. Let me show you some.”
The two started talking about old nostalgic games from American kids' childhoods.
----
“The children seem to be getting along.” Batman said, turning the trio’s attention to the teens talking to each other amiably.
“Yes, they tend to be social.” Draxum said gently, smiling at his sons.
“I’m sorry but how long have your sons been fighting as vigilantes?” Black Canary asked.
Draxum smiled with pride, “A little over two years now, although their first few months were mainly just sneaking out of the house.”
Black Canary nodded, “Do you want them to keep this up?”
“They are naturally very active, they’ll have to put that energy somewhere, running around and fighting is good for them. And they genuinely enjoy what they’re doing, helping people. I’d say yes, although they’ll need more classical training, Raphael was the only one to go out of his way to do so for a while, can’t just rely on talent.” He deduced.
The two nodded before sharing a glance, then Black Canary spoke up, “Would you be partial to allow them to train with the League, or the apprentice team? They would be happy to have new allies.”
Draxum pursed his lips, he knew this topic may arise. Lou and him had even talked about it some, of course the boys didn’t know that, they hadn’t wanted to get their hopes up too early. “I’ll have to talk with their father, and them, but it could be a possibility. We did make something for you to communicate with us though. Donatello come here and explain the phone please.” He called over to the teen.
Quickly Donatello’s attention was drawn to his father, he walked over a bounce in their step and pulled out an old looking phone/walkie-talkie. “This is a T-talkie, basically a personalized walkie-talkie with its own frequency that I myself found and isolated. Connecting to my very own satellite that at the moment is only really able to go around North America.’ He handed the dark green walkie-talkie to the heroes, with a flourish, ‘Tell me how it works when you use it somewhere else.” Their eyes shone with excitement.
Draxum smiled at his son, “I’m sure it will work perfectly Donatello.”
Donatello smiled widely at him.
Black Canary smiled at the duo, “Thank you Donatello for the T-talkie,’ She turned back to Draxum, ‘We will be sure to get in contact with you again.”
The other three had drifted back to the center of the roof.
“Alright, Miss Martian, Aqualad it’s time to go.” Batman said.
The heroes said their goodbyes and left the rooftop.
“Well that went well.” Raph said proudly.
Draxum nodded, “Now let's get back to the lair before the others destroy it.”
- - -
Mikey and Leon are disappointed that they couldn’t go with the other three to finally meet the heroes.
That’s when Draxum drops the bomb that Black Canary and Batman had suggested the kids could work with Young Justice.
The boys are really excited and are begging Splinter and Draxum to let them do it. The parents send them to bed, so they can talk about it. Draxum is for it, saying that it would do the boys good, and Splinter is on the fence because he doesn’t like the idea of the kids being exposed to so many people. They decide to leave it till they can talk to the League about it tomorrow.
- - -
Red Tornado sat on the couch in the living room in Mt.Justice, quietly reading a book Kid Flash had lent him. ‘The Great Gatsby’ They found it more interesting than they thought they would be.
The sound of a communicator sounded off next to them, he glanced down and saw the T-talkie that Black Canary and Batman had left with them. Setting the book down they picked up the walkie-talkie from the couch and answered.
“Hello?” They asked into the phone.
“Am I to assume you are a colleague of the people I met with yesterday?” A deep voice asked from the phone.
“It depends, are you the father that met with Blake Campbell and Brady Martin?” They were careful with their words like always, he knew that Draxum was most likely the person calling, but you could never know.
“Yes I am, and I’d like to talk about the sports team that they elected my children to join.”
“Of course, Ms.Campbell is here at the moment I’ll go get her.” Red Tornado got up and sent a message to Black Canary that Baron Draxum had called. She responded quickly saying she’d be there soon.
“My name is Reamonn Turner They/He, I am one of the team’s caretakers.” They said,
The Zeta tube went off in the distance, too low for Draxum to possibly hear.
“It’s a pleasure to meet you Xir, I’m Barry Draxum He/Him.”
Dinah walked into the living room, and waved at Red Tornado. He nodded back.
“A pleasure.”
They handed the phone over to Dinah who took it with a nod.
“Hello Draxum, it’s good to hear from you so soon after our meeting.” She said,
“Yes to you as well. I’d like to talk about my son's involvement in this team. Their other father is here as well.”
“It’s a pleasure to meet you Ms. Black Canary’ – An old accented voice said – ‘My name is Splinter.”
“It’s nice to meet you, Splinter. Now what exactly are you concerned about?” Dinah thought the boys had mentioned a mother to M’gann and Kaldur so she hadn’t expected another parent. But who was she to judge, she and Ollie had a semi-open relationship themselves.
- - -
So they talk through some things, specifically the Hamato’s privacy about their lives and mutation. Where the boys would be going to meet with the team. How long they would stay at Mt.Justice. Dinah assures them that the League won't dig too deep into their mutations much.
Splinter explains that two of them are still rather weak and won’t be leaving home for some time to heal, about two weeks or so. Dinah understands and they schedule to meet in two weeks when the children are fully healed so they can meet the Team at Mt.Justice.
The Team gets a heads up a few days before the meeting that a few vigilantes from NYC will be coming over for an introduction.
- - -
The Team sat around the living room waiting for the possible new additions to their team.
Artemis and Kaldur were sitting on the couch watching as M’gann, Dick, and Conner were playing uno. With M’gann absolutely sweeping the floor with the other two. Wally was pacing around the room, messing with things and stimming with nervousness and some excitement.
Their mentors were standing near the digital command center quietly talking to each other.
The teens were all connected through their mind link chatting.
`Okay so is anyone else just like generally suspicious of the newbies’ Wally asked flopping down on the couch by Artemis.
‘Donnie and Raph aren't that bad’ M’gann placated
Conner rolls his eyes but doesn’t say anything.
‘Keep forgetting you two met them already.’ Robin said to Kaldur and M’gann.
M’gann shrugged, ‘I mean you guys could have come with us after the invasion.’
Wally groaned, flopping onto Artemis’ lap, who flicked his nose in annoyance. He gave her a cheeky smile, Artemis rolled her eyes at him.
Kid looked over at M’gann, ‘Well yeah but I didn’t want to run over water then alright, besides the League had us helping out that band of Brownie Troops and their crazy leader.’
‘They were certainly interesting.’ Dick said, smiling as he hit M’gann with a +4, who then squawked in offense, Dick smiled mischievously. ‘Shoulda seen that coming M’orzz.’
‘Oh you are on Grayson.’ She said with a wicked grin.
Conner sighed and put his cards at the bottom of the drawing deck, and looked up at Kaldur, ‘What exactly are they like, M’gann said Donnie was into tech or something.’
Kaldur tilted his head in thought, ‘I didn’t talk much with Donatello, Raph spoke to me more. He said he and his siblings had been acting as vigilantes for about two years now. He’s very passionate about doing what he does, very strong morals.’
Conner nodded with a hum.
“Get ready they’re on their way.” Superman said.
The Team got up and walked around the couch, going to stand by their respective mentors around the room.
The sound of the Zeta Tube went off. ‘A-58 Baron Draxum, B-41 Orange, B-38 Red, B-39 Violet, B-40 Blue.’
‘Looks like they’re already part of the team.’ Artemis projected lightly.
The first to come into view was a tall goat mutant wearing a teal hanbok. He held himself high and looked around the room quizzically. Then a much shorter turtle mutant bounded down the hallway to the goat man’s side, along with three others walking not far behind.
“Hi I’m Mikey or Orange – They chirped – It’s a pleasure to finally meet you all!” Mikey smiled wide at the assortment of heroes and apprentices.
Wally smiled, dashing over to Mikey “Hi MIkey I’m Kid Flash nice to meet ya.”
And first contact was made.
----
Miscellaneous Bullet Points
The turtles are nice, if a bit eccentric yeah but what teenager isn’t. The Heroes beside Kaldur, Miss Martian, Black Canary, and Batman, needed some time to wrap their heads around extremely anthropomorphic mutant turtles and a goat,
So like dynamic wise I think Raph would get along with Kaldur and Artemis, they just seem like they’d all be buds
Do random shit they probs shouldn’t and bringing out the chaotic gremlins in each other
I think Donnie would get along with Megan, tism recognizes tism really and they’d have the same taste in music
They’d bake together, because I think Donnie bakes pastries b/c it’s so difficult and they like to one up people with their skills, but Megan would be just as good as them, and they would bond over that
Conner is mildly jealous but not like really insecure about it
On the topic of Conner he and Leo get along swimmingly, like Leo and Robin tried to but they could not start their own mirror image. So Leo gravitated to Conner and they are bastards together often
Reckless boneheads who go all out on eachother in a kinda “Do it you won’t, pussy” way, it’s ridiculous
Mikey gets most along with Wally and Dick the most, Dick in the sense that they’re both the youngests and smallest and like to cause some chaos, Wally in the sense that they have pretty similar personalities and actually like to hang out together, unlike Rob and Leo
Instead of Megan being white and solely based on the Hello Megan actress, she also takes inspiration from J’onn’s human form. Along with having watched like all the Lou Jitsu movies she could find back home on Mars, so she kinda looks like Lou too
I just feel like white Megan makes no sense considering she’s living with her uncle and I know they’d get shit for it from humans
Megan ends up showing the turtles Lou Jitsu, and when they find out the turts are already obsessed they all geek out together over Lou Jitsu, they end up introducing her to more Jupiter Jim, who’d she’d only seen like once or twice in crossover movies
Anyway the turts don’t need a lot of training but they do need low stakes practice, just learning how to hold back when they’re going up against people who don’t bounce back like Yokai and mutants do
Training for them kinda goes like how Conner’s training went, lots of frustration but they got it eventually
Draxum gets roped into being a den mother for a bit during a school break or something, the cave wasn’t on fire persay but a lot of furniture was new, and not for the reason of just feeling a new style
Around that time is when the team finds out the turts were built with war in mind they get a bit weird, but Conner’s whole situation having already happened, they get over it pretty quickly
Dick starts looking into Lou Jitsu and his disappearance one day, when he overhears Donnie and Megan talking about it
He doesn’t find alot but he gets a couple consistent threads, with Big Mama being involved, it probably being a kidnapping, and Lou maybe being alive for awhile after
Eventually the boys get to invite Splinter, April and Caseyx2 to the mountain
April and Casey quickly befriend Artemis and Wally, I can just see them being ridiculous and loud together
Junior would be more shy and stuff but Megan would notice and seek him out and introduce him to Conner, and they all become buds, Junior really likes Wolf so much
Megan and Dick actually notice how much Splinter acts like Lou Jitsu in some way
They both end up connecting the dots, Dick wants to grill Splinter on what happened, and Megan goes all fangirl and is so happy to finally meet one of her idols, one who she assumed was dead already
----
This idea slash prompt is completely up for grabs with credit or something. I just don’t have the energy to like write something big about this crossover, even though it’s so fucking cool.
This has literally been sitting in my drafts for weeks now, def would like to hear other people’s ideas on a crossover between YJ and ROTTMNT.

Round 1A OC info cards: Milo Hamato
Tumblr media
Information: “Okay, so Milo (which is not her original name because she forgot it lmao) toddled her way into the Hidden City at the age of roughly 2 and a half, chasing a will o' the wisp type creature when her caretakers weren't looking. She's human and was soon found by Draxum, who realized two things: that raising this child would provide him valuable opportunity to study humans first hand from the outset of infancy, AND that it would be deliciously ironic if the general of his mutant army was a human.
Milo has an uncanny talent for mystic arts, stemming from her innate gift of foresight (very important). The most frequent vision she has is of The Shredder and the various ways a fight against him could go. This plus Draxum telling her of the Prophecy of coming calamity and that it will be her duty to protect yokai-kind encourages Milo to take it upon herself to personally face this coming calamity.
She's aware of a lot of Important Plot things like the Hamato clan, but she only has fragments of the full picture, namely the clan's symbol and hazy visions of a badass warrior woman (Karai) fighting the Mean Metal Man (Shredder). When Lou Jitsu is brought to Draxum's lab, she doesn't hesitate to tell him all about her visions (because she is four by then and has no filter), which gives the poor man an existential crisis as she quickly pivots to infodumping about her little brothers: four baby turtles, all of which she named after colors. Lou takes Milo with him when fleeing the exploding lab, because much like the boys, he refuses to let Draxum turn this sweet, bright young girl into a vicious killer. To match her brothers, she takes on the name "Green" until they all collectively pick out proper names for themselves a few years later. Her's is inspired by "Venus de Milo" but she just uses the Milo bit.
Growing up with Lou Jitsu--now Splinter--Milo is the eldest of five and takes that responsibility very seriously. Splinter is firmly against the idea of training Milo in the Hamato ways when she's still so young and tries to placate her requests for training with his old movies. This only barely works until Milo discovers the Ancestor's Scroll and learns from them. She doesn't fully grasp Ninpo until the final confrontation with The Shredder, but Milo has more extensive ninja training than her little brothers because of this.
For Milo, her family comes first and she will go to any length to keep them safe, even if it costs her her life.”

Blood // Water by Grandson
This one got longer. I hope it's decent. It is my first ever ROTTMNT fic.
TW: vomit
Oh right! @erriots
--
Raph had lost his lunch, and Leo was barely refraining from following him.
"Dad..." Mikey said in heartbreak.
Donnie was gripping his staff hard enough to feel his knuckles grinding. He was furious not just for himself, but on his little brother's behalf. After how far Mikey had gone to redeem him; he turns around and begins to commit atrocities again!
"That conniving, deceitful, traitorous.…"
Donnie struggled for the word he wanted to use. Nothing felt strong enough. His immense vocabulary wasn't quite enough to cover his feelings. He had to settle for a subpar word and hoping yelling it loud enough could make up the difference.
"JERK!"
It didn’t make up the difference.
Mikey whimpered next to him.
"I hate to say it, but I told you guys. He dropped me off a roof." Leo yelled, trying to channel his hurt into any other emotion within reach and landing on anger.
He was aiming for humor, but he was flexible with where he landed.
"But....he changed. He was family" Mikey said
Raph wiped his face clean and reached over to rub his youngest brother's shell.
"You did your best, Bro. Sometimes bad people just wanna be bad. You can love em all you want, but it's not always gonna be enough."
The sound of a metal door scraping against tile made them all turn to see the traitor of the hour step into the lab. Still wearing his uniform, hair net and all.
"Oh. Hello boys. I didn't expect to see you here." he said cheerfully.
As if nothing was horribly, gut twistingly, wrong. As if there weren't suffering human test subjects in states that could be argued as worse than death gasping for oxygen in tubes lined against the wall.
"A bunch of brand new mutants starting causing trouble all over New York. We tracked them back to this place. And weren't we surprised to see whose name was on the wall." Raph said, angrily pointing to said plaque.
Because of course he had to put his name on it.
"I figured you'd find this place eventually." Baron said as he casually changed out of his work clothes.
He threw a lab coat on, which looked ridiculous with the hair net he forgot. Nobody was in the mood to tell him.
"Now that you're here, you can help me." he said, walking past them to the table.
"Help you!?" Leo yelled, still settling for anger while his humor took its vacation.
Mikey started to hope Barron was about to ask for help with his apparent relapse. Mikey could do that. He could support the stuffing out of his dad until he got his dark impulses under control again. He helped him once and he could do it again. He would do it again. Anything to bring his family together again.
But before he could explain any of that, Baron spoke again.
"We can take the time to locate much more suitable subjects with you four helping. It will be so much more efficient than allowing the oozqitos to infect at random. We'll have a suitable army in no time." he explained.
He wasn't even looking at them while he spoke. He was mixing chemicals and working on his project like it was nothing more than a birdhouse.
"Hold up!" Raph yelled, throwing his hands in the air "I think we need to rewind a little bit. Because there is no way we are helping you mutate people!"
He ended his words with a soft growl.
Baron finally started to look concerned.
"What are you talking about? With this new Earth Protection Squad after us, it only stands to reason that we take necessary measures to insure our victory." Barron said sternly, straightening his back like he was giving a lecture.
All four turtles stared at him in every shade from disgust to shock.
"ON WHAT PLANET DOES THAT MEAN MUTATING INNOCENT CIVILIANS!?!?" Mikey screamed, gesturing wildly.
Baron's eyes got cold.
"On this one. And the humans are by no means 'innocent'. They are the ones hunting us!"
"A select group of humans is hunting us. Not the entire species!" Donnie corrected him "And did you forget that we have human friends!? Are you suggesting April is culpable in the EPS?"
"Of course not! O'Neil is one of the good ones." Baron said dismissively.
"'One of the-'!??!?!... Did you really just say that!?" Leo yelled, hardly believing he heard such an old racist line from Baron.
"This is a nightmare." Mikey whispered.
"I'll admit, I didn't foresee this...hostility from you." Baron said, stepping forward. "I am only taking measures to ensure our survival."
"Draxy, you have officially been demoted from 'Dad' to 'Racist Uncle'." Leo snarked. "Keep going and you're getting uninvited to Thanksgiving!"
His humor returned! He had missed it.
Baron shook his head and began closing the distance between him and his sons.
"You are being blind! We must be proactive if we are to-”
He stopped suddenly, his face screwing up in confusion and disgust. He slowly looked down until he saw what he had stepped in.
“What is this?” he asked in a careful tone.
Leo saw an opportunity for sass and took it.
“Oh that? Funny story actually. You see when we saw what you had been doing down here, we were so disgusted Raph tossed his cookies like he was trying to go pro!”
Huh. That came out more angry again. It was a weird day for Leo.
“I see…” Baron said.
He was standing in a puddle of vomit, wearing a hair net and lab coat, and his sons were glaring at him like he was a threat to them. He felt safe counting it as a new low.
What was there to say?
“I only wanted to protect you.” he said quietly.
“With protection like this, who needs danger!?” Leo bitterly laughed.
Oh, so the humor was back again.
Raph was shaking his head.
“This….none of this is right.” he said.
Baron seemed to shrink.
There was silence. A long stretch of nothing charged with tension and regret. Regret for actions taken. Regret for compassion extended. Enough regret to choke on, and if that didn’t do it the silence would finished the job.
Before any of them could snap from the stress, Baron spoke
“What can I do?”
Donnie shook his head and sighed.
“I’m not sure what you could possible do that wouldn’t just make everything worse.”
Mikey let out a frustrated moan.
“This sucks!” he shouted.
Everyone agreed.
--
I had fun. At the end of the day, that was my primary goal. Second was to make someone happy. Third was to stretch my writing a little.

do you have any lore or more information on venus from your weary and wild au?
OH BOY DO I!!!!!!
i have a lot. but i'll tell you about two specific bits that are really important to her arc
HER MUTATION
i wasn't kidding when i said that Venus was the first mutated. i think Yoshi was in Draxum's clutches for longer than what was seen in goyles, goyles, goyles, probably a day or two. in that time, Draxum took some of Yoshi's blood samples and mixed it with his mutagen, which was still in development and not perfected at all. still very unstable
Venus was the turtle baby he chose to mutate first to see what kind of kinks and bugs he needed to work out. tl;dr., she was basically the test subject for the test subjects. if her mutation went well? then great! more soldiers for Draxum's army. if it didn't go so well and something bad happened? oh well, at least Draxum will know what to work on
(this, naturally, gave her some personal issues when she grew up. Draxum unfortunately never hid that tidbit from her)
so, by the time Draxum decided to mutate the boys, Venus was already mutated and toddling around somewhere
as stated before, the mutagen used to mutate her was in beta stage and unstable, which meant Venus wasn't fully humanoid as the boys ended up being. since she's a leatherback sea turtle, she was an aquatic mutant, and thus Draxum had to keep her in a tank full of water for the first few months. after he mutated her again with his perfected ooze, she ended up having the humanoid soldier form her brothers have
as a result of being mutated twice, Venus is much more bloodthristy and sadistic than her brothers. however, unlike her brothers, she has better control of those urges and can choose whether or not she falls into them. a direct result of her upbringing. she could kick Raph, Donnie, and Mikey's asses if she wanted to, but when it comes to Four, he will beat her in a fight
to put it simply; girlie has a beast mode
HER RELATIONSHIP WITH THE HAMATOS & DRAXUM
hoo boy. this is gonna be a mess, so strap in
while, yes, Draxum is redeemed and becoming a better person, the guy did start out as a villain whose main goal was to wipe out humanity. he raised Venus as a soldier, running her ragged with training meant for five instead of one. she was well aware that there were meant to be more of her, but she's the only one Draxum has now
Venus... does not like the Hamatos. her reasons aren't because of the family in particular, but because she's projecting her (rather justified) hatred of Draxum onto them
Draxum was. just the absolute worst for Venus during those times. he's changed now, but back then, the goat-man was – for a lack of a better term – abusive. he wasn't satisfied with her and used to take out his anger at having lost four of his soldiers out on her
and then, of course, came the day when he sold her to Big Mama. or, as the spider puts it, "gifted" Venus to her
whatever sort of hope that Venus had that maybe Draxum could one day turn around and start treating her better got destroyed on that day
she hates Draxum. plain and simple
however, she can't hate Four. he's her little brother, her baby brother. she doesn't like the others, but she 1000% likes Four
when she found out that Draxum suddenly became a good guy because of he had nothing else going on and because of the Hamatos, she... well. she immediately began hating that family, too. doesn't matter that they're her family by blood. she hates them
(her ninpō, as a result, is basically buried under D E E P rubble. not that she knows about it anyhow)
she'll call the other three her brothers (because that's what they are), but she doesn't consider them to be her brothers. they're as brothers to her the same way a stranger on fifth avenue is her friend. Four is the only one she actually considers family
it's the same to Splinter. she knows he's her biological father, the donor that made her mutation possible, but she doesn't really think of him as a father. a fatherly man, yes, but as her actual father? no, not really
and she'd rather die than call Draxum her father
all in all, my girl has a lot of personal issues to work out, and i am excited to get to them
(she does consider Big Mama to be her mother, but the girl's way too emotionally constipated to let that title spring out)

Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles: Mutant Mayhem (2023) Review
Tumblr media
Why would they release this only a month after Across the Spider-Verse?? It’s as if they WANT to live in the shadows!
Plot: After years of being sheltered from the human world, the Turtle brothers set out to win the hearts of New Yorkers and be accepted as normal teenagers. Their new friend, April O'Neil, helps them take on a mysterious crime syndicate, but they soon get in over their heads when an army of mutants is unleashed upon them.
Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles of course are close to the hearts of many people’s childhoods, however I do not share that element of nostalgia. I am aware of the turtles and their pizza obsession, and I have unfortunately seen both of the Michael Bay produced ones, but nonetheless I walked into Mutant Mayhem with a very open mind. I am a fan of Seth Rogen and have also been enjoying this new style of animation that spawned from 2018′s Into the Spider-Verse, that steps away from the Disney/Pixar dominated oversaturated 3D computer animation and instead incorporates 2D and various interesting art styles from watercolours to comic-book sketches. Again, Spider-Verse started this and is still probably the most well executed one, however I personally also believe Klaus and Puss in Boots: The Last Wish have managed to take this new artwork animation style and make it their own. Mutant Mayhem again looks very good visually, and even though this one doesn’t really add much more to this animation style that Spider-Verse already did, there were still some creative choices made, like in many shots parts of the character drawings and the background sketches looking unfinished, as if a kid drew them, which I found to be a nice touch, especially with the movie’s youthful nature. But yes, the artwork is very close to Spider-Verse, and that is not the only comparison. Strangely enough the energetic music score by Trent Reznor and Atticus Ross hits near all the same notes and drum beats of Daniel Pemberton’s excellent Across the Spider-Verse soundtrack. Both are very similar, and again reiterated that TMNT: Mutant Mayhem gladly embraces that it exists solely due to the trend that Spider-Verse started.
What really works for Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles: Mutant Mayhem is that it actually accepts the fact that its titular turtles are teenagers. Voiced entirely by a youthful cast, the four central turtles have amazing banter and share that coming-of-age feel, making their friendship believable and entertaining to watch. At times it feels like you’re just hanging out with a bunch of friends who are being goofs. The supporting cast all do their part and are evidently having fun themselves. Ice Cube makes for a formidable villain who at first comes off really cool and charming, but then turns into an intimidating presence that manages to proudly proclaim rap lyrics. Jackie Chan is an inspired casting choice, as he brings an endearing warmth as the overprotective father-figure to the turtles, and his vocal performance felt genuine. There’s many famous actors that provide vocal additions to the shedload of characters in this movie, but I’d say Paul Rudd stood out the most as a crazy skater-bro who was foolishly funny.
Jeff Rowe (known for The Mitchells vs. The Machines) balances the themes of coming-of-age and acceptance really well with the fast-paced action-packed energy of Seth Rogen’s and Evan Goldberg’s script, and there’s plenty of laughs and colourful set pieces to keep kids entertained at the cinema this month. This is definitely a more younger audience aimed affair, but I enjoyed it nonetheless and at the very least is the best version of TMNT I have seen so far. Naturally my main comparisons are those Michael Bay movies and, well, that’s not a very high bar. But don’t worry, Mutant Mayhem provides plenty of entertainment value, popping imagery and mountains of ninja skills. And pizza, of course.
Overall score: 7/10

“Revenge of the Fly”
Tumblr media
Season 7, Episode 22 First US Airdate: November 27, 1993
Baxter Stockman plots to turn the city’s residents into mutant insects.
The seventh season of Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles heads into its final stretch with “Revenge of the Fly”. This episode aired back-to-back with "Escape from the Planet of the Turtleoids" and is credited to series regular David Wise.
Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media
We open with the Turtles watching a report by Vernon, who interviews an un-named scientist at a research lab. The professor reveals that he has been able to distil the genetic characteristics of various insects down to their essences, which are kept in a series of test tubes; with these liquids it should theoretically be possible to create a variety of new bugs for specific purposes. Vernon quizzes the professor as to what would happen if the formulas were to fall into the wrong hands, and manages to give away the specific location of the lab – right down to the room number – while the broadcast is going out on live TV. Knowing how this kind of thing always plays out, the Turtles decide to monitor the facility, anticipating that Shredder and Krang will eventually show up.

FLY PAPERS: A BAXTER STOCKMAN INTERLUDE
Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media
With the exception of “Night of the Rogues”, I don’t know if there’s ever been an episode of TMNT that ties back to as many prior adventures as this one, so it might be a good idea for us to do a quick recap of relevant past events that will play into this story. Waaaaay back in season one, “A Thing About Rats” introduced Baxter Stockman as a down-on-his-luck scientist who had the misfortune to cross paths with Shredder, aiding in the creation of an army of his own “Mouser” pest extermination robots which were turned against the Turtles, Splinter and April. After this plan was foiled, Baxter wound up being captured by the authorities and – presumably because of his insistence that his undoing was due to the existence of the then-unknown Ninja Turtles – he was confined to an insane asylum. In the aftermath of these events, Shredder would go on to attempt to revert the Turtles back to their original pet forms using a retromutagen ray gun, only for Splinter to intervene and destroy it.
Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media
Season two’s opener, “Return of the Shredder”, saw Shreds break Baxter out of the asylum, and for the first half of the season Stockman would serve as the masked villain’s right-hand man. After a series of embarrassing defeats at the hands of the Turtles, “Enter: The Fly” had Shredder request that Bebop and Rocksteady, then residing in the Technodrome in Dimension X, be sent to Earth. To maintain the dimensional balance Shredder would hurl Baxter through the portal. Krang had no use for Baxter and ordered that he be placed in a vaporising chamber, but the presence of a fly during the procedure led to the scientist instead being transformed into a half-man, half-fly, who would return to Earth and swear revenge on both Shredder and the Turtles. At the conclusion of this episode, Baxter found himself suspended in a temporal limbo, permanently out-of-step with the rest of the world and only able to watch events unfold around him as a ghost-like figure.
Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media
Season three’s “Return of the Fly” brought Baxter back fully into our dimension, leading to him being manipulated again by Shredder. Later that year, “Bye Bye, Fly” would see the mutant discover an underground temple that was ultimately revealed to be an alien spaceship. Further encounters with the Turtles and Shredder followed in this adventure, during which Baxter would arm himself with a mutating ray stored aboard the ship that could turn his enemies into a variety of different animals. Later, Baxter would escape in the ship only for it to fall apart, leaving him trapped between dimensions, about to be eaten by a giant spider.
Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media
Baxter would survive – somehow! - and in season four’s “Son of Return of the Fly II” used a dimensional rift to return to Earth. Now accompanied by his friend, the alien computer’s spaceship (known as “Z”), the increasingly addle-brained fly created chaos at Channel 6 and was briefly able to capture the Turtles. A scuffle at the station headquarters between Shredder and Baxter would culminate in the destruction of Z’s computer form, leaving him a mere circuit board that wound up trapped with Baxter between Earth and Dimension X.
Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media
Things would take an unexpected and disappointing turn in season five’s “Landlord of the Flies”. Somehow Baxter was back on Earth, with no explanation given; “Z” was also nowhere to be found. Following an adventure in which Stockman controlled an army of flies that brought to city to its knees, he was sent by Donatello back into dimensional limbo, the last time he had been seen up to this point. It’s arguably easier to consider “Landord” non-canon, given that it doesn’t line up with any of the prior Baxter appearances or what will happen in today’s adventure. (It was also a cruddy episode all-round, and thus easily discarded in the great scheme of things.)
Now that we’re up to speed, let’s return to today’s adventure, already in progress: several of the events detailed above will play into those that are about to unfold, albeit often in ways that raise more questions than answers.

Tumblr media Tumblr media
For whatever reason, Shredder has decided that now is the time to repair the retromutagen ray from season one. To that end, he has Bebop and Rocksteady recover a Nutronium crystal, the final component he needs to make it operational again. All of this would be fine, but... the ray as it appears here looks nothing like it did when we last saw it. Instead, it’s drawn to look identical to Baxter’s mutating ray from “Bye Bye, Fly”, the one that didn’t undo existing mutations but rather shifted the target from one form to another; it even still has the dial with pictures of different animals on it. An egregious goof, to be sure. Let’s press on.
Tumblr media Tumblr media
At “Genetic Research” - that’s what the sign says – a night watchman stands guard as the Turtles look on from nearby. Baxter is namechecked by the team during their conversation, leading to Raph mentioning that “thanks to Krang he’s stuck in some kinda... dimensional limbo”. Wait, what? The last time we saw Baxter it was Donatello that sent him to another dimension; I guess we can take this as confirmation that “Landlord of the Flies” has been scratched from the record, as the only thing this seems to match up with is the portal to the Technodrome being shut down while Baxter was in the middle of passing between dimensions in “Son of Return of the Fly II”.
Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media
As Shredder makes the final adjustments to his ray gun, Krang is attempting to restore contact with Dimension X. With his equipment faltering, the portal instead focuses on a different realm, the one where Baxter was trapped. The fly passes back through the portal, arriving in the Technodrome clutching the circuit board that is the last remnant of his buddy, “Z”.
Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media
Baxter evades a group of Foot Soldiers then hurls himself at Krang, picking the alien brain and his bubble walker up before flying to the roof and dropping him back down to the floor. Shredder intervenes, only to be tossed into a wall. Following Z’s instructions, Baxter connects the alien computer’s circuit board to the Technodrome’s systems. Now in control of the undersea fortress, Z has the Foot Soldiers round up Shredder, Krang and The Boys, locking them in a storage facility. Having picked up on Vernon’s earlier broadcast, Z informs Baxter of the experiments taking place at the research facility and begins plotting to use these developments to achieve world domination. A handheld computer allows Z to continue aiding Baxter remotely.
Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media
I neglected to mention this in prior Turtlethon entries but over the course of the last few episodes, as the focus of the series has returned to the Technodrome, the traditional transport modules have been phased out in favour of a new amphibious version. One of these vehicles appears briefly here, emerging from the water and rolling into the city. Meanwhile the Turtles abandon monitoring the research facility when April requests help, having found herself on a rooftop while covering news of a fire. The blaze has since spread, putting her in danger, and so the team rush to her aid. Moments after their departure the module rolls up; from it emerges Baxter, whose appearance causes the guard to faint. The fly smashes through the windows of the lab, barging in and stealing the test tubes containing the genetic materials.
Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media
At EMF (it’s unbelievable!), April finds herself cornered by the worsening fire until Michaelangelo, descending from the Turtle Blimp, swoops in to save her at the last second. Later, a fireman shows the Turtles and April the “Super Slosher 2000”, an advanced water cannon used to quickly put out blazes. April is informed of a break-in at the lab by Burne, and leaves with the Turtles in her van; Baxter is already long gone from the facility, and steals the Super Slosher to use as a delivery mechanism for the stolen genetic materials. Testing it out, he takes aim at the firemen, who become giant mutant termites as the first act concludes.
Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media
Returning from commercials, Baxter watches as the termite men begin devouring the wooden exterior of an old building. Meanwhile, the Turtles and April talk to the professor at the lab regarding the break-in, and note the tell-tale signs that this is Baxter’s doing. While the team find it hard to believe that Stockman would be capable of doing much with the formulas given his diminished mental state, his supercomputer friend Z is another story altogether, and so our heroes rush off to intervene.
Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media
At a fairground, Baxter opens fire with the Super Slosher, turning everyone in attendance into mutant insects. He laments that despite all of this going as planned, he feels something is still missing; Z then suggests that the Turtles should be the next target in his quest for revenge, and that attacking their allies at Channel 6 would be an effective way to lure the green teens out of hiding. The mutant fly leaves, forgetting to take Z’s handheld computer form with him.
Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media
In the Technodrome, Krang posits that his fortress was built “too well”, providing no means of escape. Shredder suggests that mixing the chemicals present in the storage facility could allow them to create an explosion and blow down the door. Meanwhile the Turtles arrive at the fairground and restrain the mutant insects. Donatello finds the handheld computer, but Z refuses to reveal what’s going on, shutting down his system instead. As a means of pressuring him into revealing what’s going on, Donnie threatens to dump “fifty megs of random data” into his logic circuits. (This might not sound like a lot now, but keep in mind that in 1993 it might have been the size of your home PC’s entire hard drive.) Z reluctantly explains that Baxter was able to acquire some of Krang’s mutagen and is using it into conjunction with the stolen lab materials to turn everyone into mutant bugs.
Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media
The Turtles and April learn that Baxter is now at Channel 6, and hurry over to the station offices to confront him. Inside they find a giant honeycomb, an indicator of things to come. Burne soon emerges, having been turned into a half-man, half-bee. Before the Turtles can react, Irma – now a moth lady – joins her boss in attacking, the pair working together to drag Leonardo and Michaelangelo away. Meanwhile Krang’s makeshift chemical bomb proves entirely ineffective in blowing down the door, and so the Technodrome Crew find themselves having to go back to the drawing board.
Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media
Baxter has taken over broadcasts at Channel 6. He goes on the air, promising his viewers that if they aren’t already mutants, they will be soon, and espouses the benefits of living as an insect. Elsewhere in the building, Donnie and Raph look to rescue Leo and Mikey, but instead find themselves trapped in the web of a mutant spider Vernon as act two reaches its conclusion.
Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media
Act three opens with April cutting her friends free from the web. Donnie and Raph point out to Vernon that spiders eat flies, not turtles, and encourage him to spin an enormous web outside of the building so that Baxter can be captured. Back in the Technodrome, Krang suggests using his bubble walker to force the door open, and so the bad guys get to work on their next escape plan.
Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media
Baxter confronts a captive Leonardo and Michaelangelo in the station offices, promising to get even with the Turtles, despite conceding that he can’t remember exactly why he wants revenge to begin with. Donnie and Raph intervene, freeing their friends, but further threats emerge as Baxter turns April into a wasp. (Compared to her genuinely creepy transformation in “The Cat Woman from Channel 6”, this is handled in a haphazard and shoddy fashion; in one shot she has wings and antennae, in the next her entire body has changed, and I can’t help but wonder if this was a result of laziness or someone considering showing the full metamorphosis to be too frightening.) Insistent on not fighting her friends, wasp April instead joins the Turtles in chasing Baxter out of the building. There, the mutant fly finds himself trapped in the web created by Vernon, the Super Slosher destroyed in the process.
Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media
Much to Vernon’s frustration, Baxter is saved from being devoured, with Raphael noting “that is not how we get rid of villains on this show.” Meanwhile April continues trying to resist attacking the Turtles. Donatello suggests to the team that the only way of restoring everyone to normal is to get Shredder’s retromutagen ray, and so our heroes have Baxter take them to the transport module.
Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media
Bebop and Rocksteady attempt to use the hydraulic limbs of the bubble walker to pry the door open, but without success. Meanwhile the Turtles arrive in the Technodrome, but are tricked by Z into entering a room full of Foot Soldiers, still under his control. The robots free Baxter, only to be quickly defeated by our heroes.
Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media
As the Turtles rush to shut down the Technodrome’s main computer, Baxter seeks the retromutagen ray, intent on returning himself to his human form. Z attempts to deter the Turtles with a group of wheeled machines, but his systems are ultimately taken offline thanks to a well-placed strike from Donatello’s bo. With Z no longer in control, the doors of the storage facility unexpectedly open, making Shredder suspicious. He grabs the retromutagen ray as the Turtles arrive to confront him and begins opening fire. Briefly, it seems that the Turtles are set to be reverted to their original forms, but Baxter swoops in, grabbing the ray out of Shredder’s hand. He leaps through the portal, followed by the Turtles, who recognise retrieving the gun is the only way April and everyone else can be made human once more.
Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media
Seeing an opportunity to be rid of the Turtles forever, Shredder shuts down the portal. Caught between dimensions, the Turtles realise that only a few seconds remain before their route back to the Technodrome vanishes from existence. The team leap back in, restraining Shredder in another of the complex’s storage facilities.
Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media
Evidently some time must have passed before the concluding scene takes place, with Raphael noting that “everyone in the city is back to normal” as the Channel 6 regulars are restored to their regular forms. Leonardo uses his sword to destroy the retromutagen ray, ending once and for all the threat that it could be used to revert the Turtles nto regular pets. None of the station employees remember their time as insects, but Vernon still has a latent appetite for flies and chases one through the building, echoing his lingering desire for cheese following his time as a rodent in “Were-Rats from Channel 6”.
All things considered, this is a lacklustre way for Baxter to go out. The final moments of the story tease the idea that he could be returned to his normal form, and doing so would have granted both him and us a nice bit of closure, particularly if we assume there was no intention to use him again moving forward. Perhaps David Wise wanted to keep his options open for stories in future seasons, but to have Baxter’s arc end in this fashion – never even acknowledged once the Turtles re-emerge from the portal, becoming an afterthought in his own episode – strikes me as an unsatisfying conclusion to one of the show’s few ongoing storylines. I suppose in theory it’s possible that he was able to restore himself to his human form during his largely unseen scuffle with the Turtles, but even if that were the case, his prospects while trapped between dimensions – particularly now that he no longer has (the presumably destroyed) Z as an ally – seem bleak.
Within the wider workings of season seven, “Revenge of the Fly” feels representative of how things are going. From “Night of the Dark Turtle” through to "White Belt, Black Heart" we had a stretch of some of the strongest episodes in the show’s history, as the more juvenile tone that had become synonymous with this incarnation of the Turtles gave way to an ever-so-slightly more mature, focused series, if only out of necessity. Things began to falter with “Night of the Rogues” - a huge story that required more broadcast time to work that it received – and each of the subsequent episodes has suffered from similar problems. I’m beginning to get the impression that saving Turtles this far into its run is a monumental task, one hampered by broadcast regulations, dwindling budgets and executive meddling, and it’ll take more than a few strong scripts to do it. (If that reads as a bleak analysis, keep in mind that we’re only five episodes away from a dramatic tonal shift that will alter the direction of the series for the remainder of its run.)
NEXT TIME: I know we already had an Atlantis-themed Turtles episode, and it wasn’t even that long ago, but we’re going back to the well again! See you next time for "Atlantis Awakes".

Playing around with a TMNT Star Wars AU.
Still VERY much a WIP but atm, BUT he’s what’s rattling in my brain so far for the story.
The Kraang are a race that are set up in wild space. They do experiments based more in genetic modification and mutation to make soldiers (like Kaminoans, but muating instead of cloning) They had planed to swoop in with an unstoppable army of mutant super soldiers and wipe out both the Separatists and the Republic and take the system for themselves.
Splinter was originally a human Jedi Shadow who was captured by the Kraang. They extracted DNA samples from Splinter to use in other experiments before splicing Whomp Rat dna into Splinter. The idea was to test if it would be faster to have force sensitive soldiers via mutating animals or mutating already trained Jedi.
As for Splinter’s DNA samples, they were spliced into two young turtles (loggerheads, since that’s the closest species I can find that is similar to the only canon turtles in star wars) These two would become Leo and Mikey.
Prior to Splinters capture, Raph and Donnie were mutated from normal turtles using Zabrak DNA. This makes Raph and Don the older siblings of the turtles.
At some point, Splinter manages to escape and to cause chaos, he pretty much opens all the doors in the lab and lets the mutant rampage. During his escape he come across the turtles. He can sense Leo and Mikey’s connection to the Force and Raph and Donnie are curled protectively over their baby brothers. So, Splinter scoops up all four tots and takes them with him.
By the time Splinter escapes the Empire has already risen to power, so the Hamato Clan hunkers down (either on an outer rim world or go place to place on a ship dubbed The Lair.) And when the boys all get to their teens they basically bully Splinter into letting them join the rebellion.
More Random Bits;
- All four turtles have high Midi-chlorian, but Leo and Mikey are the only two that can easily access the Force. This is, obviously, a point of tension sometimes.
- Roughly, Raph and Don are about two years older than Mikey and Leo and it took Splinter a year post mutating to escape. So when Splinter gets the kids, Raph and Donnie are about 3 and Leo and Mikey are about 1.
- Splinter has never even considered being a dad so he messes up a lot. Mostly in regard to the amount of attention each child gets. Leo and Mikey get the majority of his attention in the early days when he’s still figuring out how to dad. Unconsciously, he favors the two kids who are connected to him the most. Raph and Donnie but heads with him a lot in early days, Raph because of his anger and gun-ho attitude and Donnie because of his heavy reliance on tech.
- Splinter is a very traditional Jedi, despite his rank as a Shadow. He tries to impart the same traditions and ideals on his sons. It works fine for Leo but the rest have personalities that contradict the jedi orders ways strongly. Raph is angry and passionate, emotions on his sleeve type of guy. Mikey is in the same vain, only his passion is more rooted in a lust for life and love. Donnie’s scientific and analytical mind meshes poorly with the more spiritual sides of the Jedi Order and his lack of the Force doubles his resistance to it.
- There is no official leader to the group. Donnie and Raph don’t know which on of them is older so they trade off who is oldest depending on the situation. But when they join the rebellion they unanimously vote Leo as the leader of their team and Raph as the second in command.
(fyi, Splinter is NOT a bad dad in this AU. He struggles at first but he’s mostly worked out the kinks in his parenting by the time the turtles join the rebellion)

Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles II: Secret of the Ooze (1991)
Tumblr media
While I didn't enjoy this film, that doesn't mean you won't. No matter what I say, the people involved in this project did it: they actually made a movie. That's something to be applauded. With that established...
To a certain extent, children who are fans of the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles will be happy to see ANY rendition of their favorite characters but a part of their subconscious will realize Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles II: Secret of the Ooze is an inferior sequel. It’s less violent and more kid-friendly, which means uppity parents will be pleased. Well, being pleased is a stretch. The quality of the writing ensures no one will be satisfied.
In New York City, the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles - Leonardo (voiced by Brian Tochi), Donatello (voiced by Adam Carl), Michelangelo (voiced by Robbie Rist), and Raphael (voiced by Laurie Faso) - are searching for a new home with the help of news reporter April O’Neil (Paige Turco this time) while their sensei, Master Splinter (Kevin Clash), begs them to remain hidden. When The Shredder (played by François Chau, voiced by David McCharen) returns, he forces Professor Jordan Perry (David Warner) to use the same ooze that created the turtles on a pair of ferocious animals: the first members of his mutant army.
Right away, it’s a disappointment to see April O’Neil recast and the absence of Elias Koteas as Casey Jones - the character doesn't even get mentioned. Also frustrating is the new kid sidekick who hangs out with the turtles: a pizza delivery boy and martial arts expert named Keno (Ernie Reyes Jr.). Our heroes already have a human friend. Why do they need another?
The most striking difference from the first picture is the overall tone of The Secret of the Ooze. The first movie might not have been fantastic - the four adolescent reptiles were basically interchangeable, the villains bland, there’s a long stretch in the middle where they retreat to a cabin in the countryside that’s as dull as a normal turtle practicing karate - but at least it had ambition. The movie wanted to be awesome. It wanted you to take the action and the premise seriously. It knew kids watching wanted the movie to be what they imagined it would be: a “grown-up” version of what they saw on TV. Director Michael Pressman doesn't even try. The jokes are so bad, so juvenile you'll want to crawl inside your shell and die of embarrassment. The gags make the villains complete non-threats, which robs the plot of any tension. TMNT II is a perfect example of the conservation of ninjutsu rule: the more ninjas on-screen, the less effective they are.
The most baffling aspect of this film is the titular "secret". There comes a point when our heroes get their hands on a canister of the green liquid (whose technical name is apparently “ooze”) and are crushed when they learn their inception was an accident. Well of course it was! You were raised in a sewer! By a rat! You spend your time hiding in the shadows! Did you think you were anything BUT a mistake of creation?!
Oh right. The animal monsters that supposedly pose a threat. They don’t. In another example of bad writing, the creatures - Tokka and Rahzar (not Beebop and Rocksteady, which means another disappointment for the fans) - are initially rejected by The Shredder. He doesn’t think they’re intelligent enough because he expected them to emerge not only super-strong and ferocious but also with genius-level intelligence despite being alive for less than a day. Oh, and then we get ANOTHER explanation for their stupidity: seems Professor Perry tampered with the mutagen to ensure they would be intellectual nincompoops. Because one reason wasn’t enough?
To throw some compliments in its direction, Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles II once again features impressive costumes/special effects and decent fight choreography considering the restrictions the performers were under. It has the occasional funny gag and if you wanted a less violent movie, you got it. Will this outweigh the horror of an impromptu rap number by Vanilla Ice? I’ll let you decide.
Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles II: The Secret of the Ooze is a major letdown. It also fails to give fans of the characters what they want and suffers from a major lack of ambition. This plot is so basic you’ll be bored. Well, when you’re not groaning at the deluge of corny gags. (January 1, 2021)

If I had creative control over a TMNT iteration/movies
(The TMNT cu)
Ok five movies, all focusing on the world around the turtles rather than the turtles themselves, taking the majority of inspiration from IDW, 2012, and some pieces from Rise and the 90s movies.
Each movie would be titled after its main character, the first one being Hamato Yoshi. It would expanded upon the backstory given in 2012 with elements of the IDW BACKSTORY, starting with the love triangle, then Yoshi committing “treason” against the foot clan, sakis attack/“assassination”, Yoshi being framed for shens death, the loss of Miwa, and ending with Yoshi running to New York where a ooze spill causes him and four turtles to mutate, running to the sewers.
The next movie would be Casey and April, taking place 15 years after the events of the first. April O’Neil is a 18 year old stem student who’s doing an internship at Stockgen, Casey Jones a 19 year old hockey player with a job at a car shop. The two were childhood best friends who who don’t talk much anymore. Once Casey starts seeing some weird stuff going on around she decides to become a vigilante. Meanwhile April realizes that stuff going on at Stockgen isn’t what it seems. The two run into eachother while investigating, share notes, and realize that the pink alien robots are behind Stockgen. Of course signs and references to the turtles, Casey seeing or hearing them (fight with raph?) and things that make it seem like April already know them/is hiding something. Towards the middle/end of the movies they make their big entrance, of course Casey freaks out, and they six take down Stockgen together.
Karai! The next movie would focus on Karai and Leo, having scenes and explanations of how the two grew up, and how they mirror eachother. Shortly after the events of Casey and April Shredder knows of their existence and moves from Japan to New York with his best assassins and his daughter. Again the main perspective would be from Karai, as she learns about New York, Splinter, Stockgen, and Krang. Meanwhile the Hamatos are all on edge, preparing for an attack from the foot. Karai’s trust in her father begins to falter once she learns that their working with Krang. The reveal that Splinter was her father coincides the reveal of shredders true deal with Krang (mutant army/ bebop and rocksteady) . She switches sides, and is gladly accepted into the family. The family takes down Shredder together (with the help of April and Casey)
Mighty Mutanimals is a prequel taking place in the 15 year gap between the first and second film. Starting with a quick backstory for old hob, it would follow the mighty mutanimals getting together to take down Krang. Members include Old Hob, Spike, Sally pride, pigeon Pete, mondo gecko, Seymour Guts and Lindsey. (With Hob, Seymour, and Lindsey being the ‘main characters’) the arc would be similar to idw mighty mutanimals 1#-4# but instead focus on Krang more then Stockgen. They fail their mission, but gained a family, and swear to finish the fight one day. (Main character death? Sally pride? Spike? Lindsey? Seymour? )
Woah big finale! The movie follows the turtles as the main characters (splinter, april, Casey, and Karai are there too though) they learn about Krangs continuing plans to terraform the earth. Mikey and Raph meet the mighty Mutanimals (who are mostly depressed and have retired) they have a new member though, Alopex, who, with the help of her new friends convinces old hob to start fighting again (or at least help them out) meanwhile Karai and Leo go to the remains of the foot clan for help, they’re only able to recruit three Bebop, Rocksteady, and high a ranking assassin Jennika. MEANWHILE Donnie and April research more about the the utroms and where the come from (learning about portals, dimensions, neutrinos, and meeting the fugitoid.) yes, this leaves Splinter and Casey to defend the Lair together. Each part of the plan comes together and their able to take down krang and the technodrome, in one huge final fight.
(If there was a sixth it would be a fugitoid prequel)
While the overall vibe is ment to be more serious, the turtles are very much typical dorky 15 year olds, and April and Casey still very much still act like teenagers lol

TMNT perfect society theory
As a long fan of the teenage mutant ninja turtles I have been one of the key fasters from my child hood but i started thinking and I found that of you look at the turtles and splinter their dynamic reflect the perfect society
(for this analyze I’ll keep rise out of the equation as that kind of went far from the source)
allow me to explain
Splinter: the overall parent of the turtles and the creator as though didn't mutant the turtles he is responsible of making them in the teenage mutant ninja they are today as if splinter wasn’t present their a good chance that the turtles would be nothing more then turtle craters rooming around the sewers of new York. Now looking a this towards society splinter represent the start of a society as every society needs someone to start it.
Now lets look at the turtles
Leonardo: Leo as always been the leader of the turtles often being seen as splinters top pupil and the one that his brothers rely on which is what makes hi  the leader. Now looking at this from a society aspect Leo plays the role of Leader ironic yes but when you look at it ever town, country so one has someone in charge. which looking at the turtles that would be splinter but who would be the one next in line that being Leo  especially as doing their missions to side Leo is the leader.
Raphael: Raphael in many of the versions of the turtle has remained being the hard headed act first ask question latter kind of guy bring in a lot of attitude or how the 80′s theme song said cool but rude. but when you look at ralph he like his brothers and father falls into this perfect society in the sense that ralph is the protection. It’s note unknown that every country has their own army and when you think about any society needs something that protects it and when you look at Raphael he is the physically strongest our of the turtles and is always ready to protect his family regardless of the sacrifice
Donatello: Now through put all the versions of the turtles don has always been the smart on often being response for all technical equipment the turtles have at theirs disposal which also fits into the theory of a perfect society. We humans are interesting creators one of these traits that makes us interesting is the fact that we just keep moving forward I'm mean we have made great advances in the world of tech and so on which is where Don’s part comes in this perfect society as Don provides  the ability to advance society as one way to service is to adapt and through Dons advices in tech it overall grown this society advances allowing for society to grow and get stronger and more advanced as well as providing a way to adapt to a situation by creating a solution for example: It’s cold, make heating for homes.
Michelangelo: Our last turtles is everyone's favorite turtle in orange being Mr. Michelangelo. now through out turtle continuity Mikey has always been the chiller much more light hearted turtle often being depicted as goofy and overall just a “party dude. But what doses Mikey represent in this perfect society ?? well that being that  Michelangelo is the heart of the society. Now a society can have good leaders, a strong form of protection and amazing advances in anything but without the heart the society is cold as we often forget just how important and necessary love is to our worlds as its the love of others that help to make a society and the fact that people lead, protect and find ways to make advances all for the sake of the people you love
Therefore in conclusion this is how the turtles family reflects the perfect society presenting us with the creator and the four keys that each turtle represents to create this perfect society.

TMNT: Shredder's Revenge Review
Tumblr media
In TMNT: Shredder's Revenge review content, we take a look at the general dynamics of the game that brings Ninja turtles and their friends back to our screens. TMNT: Shredder's Revenge review: In the early 90s, there was an incredible furore of toy ads on TVs. However, these ads were not in the way we were used to. These works, aimed at pumping up the sale of a certain group of toys, were marketed to children under the name of cartoons. Of course, the child watching the cartoon was attached, and with each new character and vehicle added to the cartoon, the sales quotas of toy manufacturers were filled. At the same time, the licensee company also received income from the sales of cartoons to the channels.
TMNT: Shredder's Revenge Review / PC
The only unhappy on this wheel were the parents, whose money flew out of their pockets. Especially in the years when we were children, my mind was going when I saw the character I was watching the cartoon in the toy store. But since the Turkish Sunday was not so open at that time, many things remained cartoons, and it was included in our childhood in this way. Here was a series that appeared during this period of Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles. Pizza Patient, (which was added later, a story made up to increase pizza marketing in New York) is the story of four Ninja turtles aged 15-16 who have mutated. Their teacher Splinter sensei was himself a mutated mouse. The owner of this mouse, which was fed as a pet, was killed by our main villain Shredder. Then our mouse, which was exposed to the mutating chemical hasbelkader a, was transferring the ninjitsu abilities that he learned while watching his former owner to turtles, a sub-generation. In Turtles, according to the story, Shredder and his army were trying to defeat the Foot clan. This army was created by Shredder's desire to have a crowded army, with the support of the alien Krang, they were mass-produced as robot soldiers. We used to sit around watching Leo, Mike, Ralph and Don stories that ran from adventure to adventure in every episode. We used to enjoy watching Shredder and the alien Krang he served take down in every episode. Of course, the brand has been updated over time, created again and again with new animation techniques. A lot of adventure toys, 2. When I say class video games, in March last year, Youtube dropped the following video A... I can say that I turned 15 the first time I watched the video. The animation style, the music, the enemies, it was all 90s TMNT. Since then, there have also been gameplay videos v.s. and on June 16, 2022, it was published on many platforms, especially Steam, with a price tag of 34 pounds. First I said, ”probably the wrong price". I gave a copy to myself and a copy to a friend as a gift. I called him, asked him to install it right away. We already started playing together as soon as the 700-odd MB file was installed. Our work is 16-bit. There are no graphics settings. You press and you play. We have two modes. The first of these modes is Story mode. You can finish the story by progressing without much difficulty, renewing your lives and protecting your level in each episode. The other mode is arcade, and here you have one coin and three lives, just like you play in an arcade. When you're done, it's all over. Again from scratch. After selecting what you want from these two modes, you come to the character selection screen. Here are friends of our heroes, friends of our childhood from Cheetara (Thundercats?) his next love, April O'neil, is also among the Decisively chosen characters. Each character has three different scores as range, power and speed. Range indicates the range of movements, power indicates your hitting power, and speed indicates the speed of your character. After choosing the character that suits your style (I'm playing with Leonardo and Raphael), if you want to choose friends with you by inviting them, if you don't want to, you start the game alone or with random people on the internet. At this point, I can't help but mention that there are 6 people together, it's officially getting boring and you can lose your character's place. That's why 2 – 3 people sounds like the ideal number of players. In Story mode, you can find and rescue other characters who are also in the cartoon, and they give you tasks. If you perform these tasks, they return to you as XP and you level up. There are a total of 10 character levels. In these 10 levels, in general, you increase your number of lives, extend your lifeline, and open some super moves. The characters have a total of 21 different types of moves, and some of these moves appear as they skip level. Because the gameplay of each character is different enough from the other, enough variations can be provided. As in every Beat'em Up game, pizzas that fill your life, pizzas that provide endless Ninja energy will be waiting for you in the middle of the section. If your friend is about to fall somehow and your energy is full at that moment, the characters make a “high five” gesture and share energy when they come together and press the LB key. Besides, you have 10 seconds to remove your teammate who runs out of energy and falls to the ground. When you go to him and offer him a “pizza”, you can lift him off the floor with a little energy. Obviously there is not much to tell at this point. You choose your character and beat the villains throughout the 16 levels. But beating up these villains has been made so fun that you are constantly playing the game with the thought “let me pass one more level”.
Tumblr media
Graphics and Sounds Since our graphics are 16-bit, there is nothing much to comment on. At this point, I would like to mention the character animations and this variety of animation. The movements of each character, their combinations, winning poses, snaps that come out during the game are different and varied from each other. There is a lot of variety of enemies, and all of them have both movements and artificial intelligence working well. The end-of-episode monsters are also fun. You discover his tactics and take advantage of his weaknesses to defeat him. The sounds and music are also extremely successful. Especially the fight and fighting effects are very nicely put on. If you are one of those who were children in the 90s like us, you may have already finished playing TMNT right now. Other than that, I strongly recommend it to anyone who likes 16-bit Beat'em up games. These types of productions don't come out much. And when it comes out, you need to evaluate it. The selling price of the product is 36 TL . The product is also available on Gamepass. I wish everyone a good time. TMNT: We have come to the end of our Shredder's Revenge review article. If you want to read more TMNT: Shredder's Revenge-like review articles, you can go to the corresponding category of our website.   Read the full article

Smooth Criminals - Chapter 1
Warning - Contains violence, gore and uncomfortable sexual situations, mention of rape. 18+ only!
Previously…
Six months, or what felt like an eternity ago, a routine blood test had led Immogene Waters and her friend Gabriella McNight to be taken from their home. A short time later they both found themselves married. Gabriella had been wed to Kanto Nakaono, the second in hand to the most feared and notorious mobster of New York, The Shredder. Immogene had been told she had the honour of marrying Oruko Saki. When she was led down the isle with the threat of a katana at her back, she had seen Oruko in his full regalia. It was then she realized he and The Shredder were one and the same. From that the day forward, the friends were only allowed weekly supervised visits. The question was, why had they been taken from their beds?
Shredder had used threats and manipulation to cajole the cities physicians to get a blood sample from all the citizens of New York. It was a mass undertaking and had temporary clinics popping up to handle the ever growing homeless population. Baxter Stockman and his underdog scientists went through every single sample, setting aside those that had certain markers.
The Foot Clan was looking for people with genes that would allow them to be paired with the mutagen their scientists had discovered a couple of decades ago. The four brothers this goo helped create had disappeared with no trace. Shredder never forgot how much trouble those turtle menaces caused him. He would also never admit to still looking over his shoulder for them. Despite the failings of the first experiment with the terrapins and their rat father escaping, he wanted to replicate the results. The trials were mostly unsuccessful, leading to disfigured and useless creatures. Through years of trial and error, Baxter finally stumbled upon the key to their success, little gleaming sequences in an individuals DNA that would combine with the mutagen. There were still failings of course, but it was needed sacrifice. Besides, there was a ready supply of vagrants. Due to the discovery, Shredder had gone back to his obsession with wanting an army of genetically enhanced beings, or more simply, mutants, at his disposal. One of the more recent successes was Slash. A man had been paired with a large swamp turtle found in the darkest and most dank bowels of a bog in Louisiana. The result was a unpredictable creature that was as evil as his master. He was kept in the depths of Shredder’s empire and was the master of the holding cells. It was said he lived alongside his victims because the sounds of torture and cries of fear helped him sleep. His own personal lullaby.
Immogene and Gabriella did not have the specific DNA strand within the searchable parameters, but they had something that was just as valuable. Immogene was a descendent of an ancient race that was known as the Amazons. Baxter had seen her slightly faster speed, strength and healing in the makeup of her DNA. Gabriella was half dragon shifter. A peaceful race called, the Travellers. They hailed from Dimension X and came through the same time Krang did. Not being full blooded, Gabby doesn’t have the ability to shift, but possesses an intellect that Baxter would never admit rivalled his own. Both women had no idea of their genetic roots. One day they were having tea in their estate gardens and the next, they were kidnapped during their sleep.
Now…
Immogene’s eyes snapped open as she woke up from her nightmare. Quickly closing them, she forced herself to calm her breathing and her racing heart. It would not bode well to wake her sleeping husband beside her. Oruko shifted and she froze. His demeanour as of late hinted there was a new challenger in town. Events such as this left her husband easily aroused, both in violence and his amorous intentions. He thrived on bloodshed and suffering. The prospect of having a challenger brought out his already insatiable blood lust to almost uncontrollable levels. Even though he had enough goons to send out and assassinate the individual, he often waited for them to come to him. There was always a method to his madness and he would make a spectacle out of killing them in his personal arena. The result of the battle reminded the citizens not only of their place in the hierarchy but there was also no hope in reclaiming their city. Shredder had been hinting he’d known this particular challenger from the past. Immogene had never seen him anticipating a fight for dominion over New York like this. When his breathing finally evened out, she sighed in relief.
Suddenly, as if sensing she’d relaxed he turned and grabbed her close, pressing his hard length against her. The hand that was wrapped around her waist started to move up her body. Reaching her breast, he palmed it. “Wife.” Immogene closed her eyes. “Husband.” A deep chuckle raised and the fine hairs on her arms. “Not in the mood this morning, are we...” She kept silent, knowing saying anything wouldn’t change whatever he had his mind set upon. “…I have a feeling my challenger will be here any day now. If it is who I think it is, he and I have unfinished business.” He pinched her nipple in a way that bordered on pain and still she kept herself motionless. Moving in closer he ground his erection into her backside, his groan filling the otherwise silent room. Without warning he grabbed a handful of her hair, pulled her head back and pushed his mouth upon hers. Biting her lip before he released her he then smiled against her cheek. “This challenger is to be the largest I’ve had yet. I plan to eviscerate him slowly. Maybe I’ll use his intestines to tie you to the bed?” He laughed darkly and then moved away from her sighing loudly. “I shall seek company elsewhere this morning”. Immogene chose at that moment to turn towards him. “No, stay.” She knew if he sought another woman, that woman wouldn’t survive the encounter. When they were first married, she made the mistake of denying Oruko her body. He ended up raping and killing a maid in front of her. Oruko understood and took amusement in what she was doing. He often used the threat of harm to another in order to manipulate her to indulge in his whims. “That’s better.” Immogene reconciled herself to what was about to happen and put her arm around his shoulder.
Oruko followed a strict edict from Feudal Japan. These days, its use was almost extinct. It was male centric and was basically a bastardized version of Bushido. It also included the ways of husband and wife and their roles in marriage. The Foot women had no rights and were often called Dolls and in Immogene’s case as the wife of the alpha, Dame. Sex was something both she and Gabriella tolerated. Coming to the marriage bed as virgins they had been quickly introduced to nights of degradation. Neither complained, it would fall upon deaf ears. Besides, after the first few times, it didn’t hurt anymore. Both their husbands were sometimes over zealous which led to marks and bruises. If Oruko saw the marks the following morning, he would often find anger growing inside of him. He did not like seeing the ivory skin marred.
Two hours later she awoke to her servant coming in to set her clothing out for the day. “Mistress? Master Shredder has instructed me to give you this to wear today.” Getting up she pulled the silk robe over her naked body and looked at what Amber was holding. Immogene sighed at the sight of the clothing. Oruko always chose her attire. Both she and Gabby had very little say in what they wore, ate or did. Being much shorter than her mistress, Amber stood on the stool behind her and helped her dress. “This was just ordered for you, the dark green corset really suits you.” Immogene only nodded. Lowering her voice Amber leaned in close. “Maybe this new challenger...” Immogene spun and faced the woman. “Amber, please. What you were about to say is treasonous!” She hissed while her eyes darted around the room. Her voice softened. “I don’t want to lose you too.” Amber nodded and her eyes held only sadness for her charge.
After dressing and breaking her fast she and her two guards, or, shadows as she called them, headed outside for her 30 minutes a day of fresh air. She walked amongst the gardens, other than her paintings and rare visits with Gabby it was her only true joy in this place. Her stride faltered and the guard on her left was immediately at her arm. “Be careful now. I won’t be punished for your clumsiness.” Immogene’s eyes spat sparks. It wasn’t her fault. Oruko was insistent that she wore heels all the time. The stilettos were not made for comfort or walking in the gardens. She ripped her arm from the guards grasp and turned to head back towards the building. The guards once again fell in place behind her. There was one room Immogene could be in by herself. Although, guards were stationed in the hall outside the doors and she could also see them making rounds through the large windows. She closed the door to her designated art space with a sigh of relief. Picking up a paintbrush she pushed the feelings of despair aside and focussed on the canvas in front of her.
By the time the dinner bell sounded, Immogene had gained some of her equilibrium back. She would never give up. She would always look for a way to escape or to kill her husband. Walking down the halls her eyes were deep with the anger she felt. Ripped away from her life and a prisoner in her marriage. Staff avoided her gaze. Oruko Saki was rich, powerful and handsome, but none would trade her for her position. Some of the women may have felt sympathy for her, but in fear of repercussions kept silent. Schooling her features she headed to the dining area, her two shadows as always, her constant companions.
The wide double doors were opened for her and she saw her husband standing and waiting for her. She met his gaze head on and strode towards him. “Husband. Your day was productive?” Oruku’s lips quirked. His little wife was quite amusing indeed. To think that after this much time she could still be defiant towards him, even if it was only in the look she gave him. Course, he wouldn’t deny that he felt a little pride. Pride that he had made this woman bend beneath his will and turned her into an obedient, if unwilling wife. An unwilling wife who’s subtle insubordination was arousing. He was tempted, very tempted to forget their dinner. But no...he could wait. ‘There’s plenty of time for that. I can’t wait a bit longer, after all,’ the corner of his lips slightly curled wickedly as he thought, ‘she is MINE. To do with as I please’.
Folding his arm casually behind his back, Oruko brushed his thumbs along the buttons on his shirt as he muttered, “Indeed. Today was most productive. I finally closed some business deals with individuals that were...,” he chuckled wickedly, “…reluctant to sell out to me.,” he slowly stalked towards the woman in a manner like a deadly predator. “I find it amusing there are still worms in this city that try to defy me, but it does make it more enjoyable to squash them beneath my Foot until every ounce of resistance and life is taken from their pathetic bodies,” He clenched his fist tightly and gave an evil and dead look at his hands before his gaze slowly turned towards her. “Now that all of that is taken care of...I can focus all my attention on you this evening,” His lips curled as images of all the things he wanted to do to her filled his mind.
Eyes staying locked on her form, he slowly circled her as his fingers glided over every ounce of exposed skin he could touch. “Mmmm you look lovely tonight my dear Immogene. I knew that green corset would make you look positively ravishing. See how I take an interest in making you look the envy of all others? Course, anything I choose looks good on you,” He huskily chuckled at his growing arousal as he lifted his hand up to her face. Lightly brushing the back of his knuckles down her cheek, Oroku hummed in approval, “Yes....so perfect.” He gave a low growl and his eyes narrowed and he roughly grabbed her around her waist pulling her into his form. His finger grabbed her chin and forced her to meet his intense lust filled eyes, “But don’t worry, my princess...this will be a most enjoyable evening,” He slowly dragged his tongue along her lips before reluctantly pulling away, “but first...let’s eat. You must be starving,” he chuckled darkly and pulled out the chair for her.
Once settled in her seat, Oruko took his own across the table from her while the servants began filling their plates. Glancing at the headliner of the New York Times he held, he gave an aggravated sigh when he read the article. “This challenger is becoming quite a nuisance,” He flung the newspaper towards his wife for her to look at. Immogene picked up the paper and quickly started to read. It was accompanied by a silhouetted picture of a very large form. From the surroundings she discerned that he might just be even larger than her husband in breadth and muscle mass. Oruko waited until she read a few lines, “I thought the Hamato’s had left for good. My Foot were so close in finding their lair for the last time and then they vanished. Not only that..,” He takes a huge gulp of his glass before slamming it on the table, “he comes back, dares to steal from my warehouses and taking out the subordinates I have stationed throughout the city.” His lips twist into a unnatural grin, “Let him, his brothers and their rat bastard father come. I look forward to mounting more trophies on my wall, or whatever sort of body part that freak values.,” He smirks and looks at her, “perhaps I’ll give you his scaly hide as a lovely new corset for you to wear. In fact the colour matches your eyes.” Just as quickly as his anger came, it returned to his stoic and neutral demeanour, “Mutants...the only good quality about them is their stupidity and brute strength. Course, most of the woman who come across Slash know that.” His voice was casual and he gave her a purposeful look as he cuts into his steak. “You are fortunate. So long as you behave and are obedient, you won’t need to worry about facing the same fate,” Her knife clicked against the plate. She hated how just the mention of the swamp turtle mutants name made her nervous. Her eyes lifted to his from her dinner and she held them there. Oruko liked to threaten her with a visit to Slash. It was an empty threat, but her husband like to play those kinds of games. Tempted to roll her eyes she went back to eating. He grinned maliciously at her initial reaction, “The last one Slash had in his grasp, well..,” he calmly grabbed his glass of wine and swirled it slowly, “let’s just say it left quite a mess and they still can’t find all the missing pieces,” Immogene resisted shivering. Her husband always stated these facts like they were discussing the weather. He took a sip of his drink as if savouring the moment of her discomfort.
“Now then...tell me what you managed to accomplish today my dear?,” His tone bordered on one of boredom and disinterest. He cut into his steak with the precision of a surgeon. “What sort of projects are you working on in my studio lately?” She folded the paper to the stock section, knowing her husband would want to view it next and slid it back towards him. It made him more, relaxed, if that term could ever be applied to him, when she anticipated his needs or wants. “Just a painting of the hibiscus that is now in bloom.” When he started eating again, she followed suit. Pinching the stem of the delicate crystal she took a sip of her wine. One might expect she would want to be intoxicated for what she felt was coming. She could almost feel her husbands want. But she sipped daintily, controlling her intake. As much as it rankled her, she didn’t react to him referring to it at his studio. She did not need the reminder that nothing was her own. Her voice was smooth and she spoke with confidence, “I also took a walk this morning, which I cut short due to a stumble on the path.” Oruku sliced another piece of meat off his steak. The knife so sharp he barely had to use any pressure. “Oh? A loose cobblestone was there? We can’t have that now can we?” She took a calming breath. They both knew the reason for her stumble. “No, it was my fault.” She did not want the gardener to be punished.
Oruko pushed, “Come now dear you must have done more than that today?” Immogene was tempted to tell him to ask her ‘Shadows’ what she had done. “I’m experimenting with a new style. Using plaster to help give some added depth.” Shredder only nodded. His mind was on other things. He signalled to one of the servants near by. “We need more wine, the Bordeux from the 1909 collection. Consider yourself lucky I do not punish you for not having it already.” The servant hurried away to get the bottle. Oruko turned his attention back to her. “It’s hard to find adequate help these days. She did not miss the sarcasm. He then eyed her plate which wasn’t as empty as his. “You haven’t finished your meal yet, is the steak not to your liking?” There it was. She could almost hear the blood lust on his voice. He was looking for any excuse to kill someone and then, while riding the high, would take her. “There is nothing wrong with my steak and the juniper berry and thyme butter is the perfect accompaniment.” Oruko chuckled deeply. “Of course. You expected anything less?” Immogene shook her head. “No, husband. Everything is always perfect.”
Oruko was becoming impatient. Granted, he could just have the cook dragged out and killed on principle but would bide his time a little longer. Immogene took another sip of wine. Her husband expected her to drink the fine wines he procured. Oruko picked his glass up and drained it. Alcohol did not effect him as it did others. His size and how his body processed the drink made him need much more than the average person. The servant was now back with the new bottle and sighed in relief that he made it back just as his Master drained the last dregs in the glass. He hurried to the table while uncorking the bottle. Lady Luck was not on his side. Immogene watched in horror as he tripped just as he reached Oruko. “Please no.” The whispered words left her lips as the dark red wine spilled on the silk shirt and fine jacket her husband wore. A suit which costed as much as most men made in a year. The man apologized profusely while her breathing became low and shallow. The Shredders eyes were now red.
Despite the fury that raged in his eyes, he was relaxed, or so it appeared. Taking a slow deep breath, he eased himself back in the seat as he ever so slowly inched his fork down to the plate. His expression was almost emotionless, one might even say calm, eerily calm as his fingers delicately glided along the handle of his steak knife. He would have been lying if he didn’t say he didn’t find it enjoyable in watching the foolish servant sweat and practically fall to his knees as he begged for mercy. As if that ever worked, all it really did was stir his bloodlust and arouse his deep hunger and desires.
Shredders red gaze locked slowly onto his wife’s emerald eyes. Staring deeply into the woman’s orbs, the ruthless leader could feel his blood boiling in arousal at his wife’s horrified expression. Completely ignoring the pathetic urchin’s pleas, he saw his wife’s lush teasing red lips part as if she was about to beg for the fools life. Just the thought of her begging sent the fiend over the edge. As quick as a lightning strike, Shredder grasped the handle firmly before swiping the blade right across the mans jugular with ease. The servants eyes widened in disbelief as a shower of arterial blood squirted onto the table and its occupants. His hands flailed frantically trying to cover the gaping wound before a garbled grunt left his lips. Shredder, without even batting an eye, lodged the knife into the mans gut, twisted and yanked the serrated edge up the mans sternum. The servants intestines spilled out from his stomach and a rank stench filled the air. Shredder then pulled the knife out and it was followed by gush of blood that poured to the floor as the body collapsed onto it.
Shredder wore a deadpan and cold expression and he casually eyed the knife as if a speck of dust had gotten on the blade. Feeling the mans blood all over his hand he ignored it in favour of how the blood warmed his skin where the wine had spilled. He appeared un-phased by the dead man lying in a pool of his own blood and effluent and cut into his meat. “Hmm. Oh Immogene remind me to order a new carpet will you? This one is of the poorest quality.” He mutters and takes a bite nodding his head in approval, “You’re right the juniper and thyme really adds to the flavour,”. She stared in horror as her husband ate with the gore covered knife as if nothing was wrong.
Oruko looked up and his jaws slowed as he took in the splattered blood on his wife’s face. His jaw clenched tightly as he could feel his cock beneath his pants throbbing eagerly. The combination from the fresh kill to seeing the lovely face painted in blood was too much. Inhaling sharply, Shredder sat up straighter, “Bedroom..,” he commanded while stabbing the knife hard into the table top, “Now.,”. His tone dropped to a deep vicious growl and followed his wife to his room. Shredder merely glanced to his men as if saying, ‘Take out this garbage will you,’ and walked to the bedroom.
Hearing the door shut behind him, Shredder stared dangerously at the woman before nodding his head towards the wall. He didn’t need to tell her what to do, like a good obedient wife she knew exactly what his expectations were. Undoing the tie around his neck, he dropped it to the floor. “Spread and apply the oil,” he demanded and watched with lustfilled eyes as she spread her legs before him. The red gaze only adverted when she grabbed the bottle and poured the lubricant onto her hand. It was a necessary task, otherwise she could tear. The teachings of his sect proclaimed it was a wife’s duty to please their husband. Nothing was mentioned about female pleasure or the need to give her pleasure. Shredder’s hand ever so slowly ran along the side of her leg, feeling her soft skin and leaving a trail of red along its path. Reaching her hips, his fingers dug into the bone and pulled her ass more towards him. He hummed in approval while hands wandered over her curves, “You’re such a good girl, aren’t you?,” His fingers found the hem of her dress hiking it up high enough for him to get a good view of her voluptuous ass. He groped the round globes before roughly grabbing her panties and tugging them to the side.
Undoing his slacks and letting them slide to his ankles he grasped his cock and stroked it a few times before aligning his hips with hers, “I know you’ve been waiting all day for this, my wife,” He seized a handful of her hair and yanked her head back, causing a sharp gasp to leave her lips. Oruko smiling against her skin was all the warning she had before he firmly thrust into her folds. Closing her eyes she rested her forehead against the brick. Shredder pushed her upper body more against the wall and his cock slowly began pumping into her slick heat. His lips curled in a wicked grin. Oruko was enjoying the sight of the blood covering her body from his hands and clothing. “Immogene..you look so beautiful...bathed in blood,” His lips pressed into her neck and his hand wandered up her body to grope her breasts. Then they lifted higher and wrapped around her neck. He hissed in her ear, “moan for me Immogene. Or I would pity the next maid that dares to cross my path,”. The threat in his voice was unmistakable.
Gathering herself she let a whimper leave her lips. Oruko groaned and she whimpered louder wanting him to finish. The sounds of his flesh slapping against hers filled the room. He pulled her close and his thrusting became erratic. She dragged her nails against the brick breaking a few and chipping the polish. Finally she felt him fill her pussy with shot after shot of hot seed. The only sound he made was a drawn out moaning growl. One last firm thrust and he rested his head against her shoulder. Immogene let out the breath she’d been holding and Oruko’s cum started to drip out past his softening member. He pulled out and she felt a gush of fluid trickle down her inner thigh. “I hope that was to your satisfaction, my dear.” He gave her ass one last squeeze and retreated to his private bathroom. “Clean yourself and then come to bed.” A tremble started in her when the bathroom door closed but she pulled herself together.
She should be used to this by now, but she knew she never would. Gone were her girlhood fantasies of having a loving and passionate partner. She made her way to the bathroom and stepped into the shower clothes and all. A few tears slipped down her cheeks along with the water while red rivulets ran down the drain. She undid the corset, peeled the dress over her head and took her undergarments off. Amber would collect them later. Knowing her husband would be expecting her to join him soon, she finished up and quickly combed her wet hair.
Oruko was already softly snoring when she came to the bed. He was on his back, his hands folded over his rib cage. Her eyes flicked to his nightstand, there a letter opener had been left on top of some of the more personal correspondence he received. A smile spread over her husbands features. “I love how you contemplate killing me, wife. It keeps things interesting, don’t you think?” Immogene’s lips curled in anger before she lifted the covers and crawled into bed. It was some time before sleep claimed her.
To be continued…
