I think I see Geto’s and Gojo’s relationship much more different than most users here. You see.. I don’t think Gojo ever saw the true Geto. It was mostly Geto who saw through Gojo’s facade. Not Gojo.

Why do I think that? Welll... I think Geto has always believed that jujutsu sorcerers are superior, but until THAT moment they didnt have a meaning. Humans were not a threat. He was just taught to believe that his role was to protect humans. And he believe that was right because thats what he was taught. The speech that he had about the role of jujutsu sorcerers was just that, a speech, that he heard from others and a speech that the entire jujutsu world believed in. That a sorcerer’s role is to protect humans from curses. We have seen his belief be completely abandoned when seeing how cruel humans can be. If he truly believed that his role was to protect humans from curses then surely he would realize that the cruelty of some specific humans is not something shared between all humans. But he didn’t. Because all humans were always the same for him. Just animals. And he wasn’t human.

The whole thing with “one and only” is that in fact well they didnt have any other meaningful relationship. They didnt have other friends. Some were just close acquaintances (like Shoko). They were closed off because they were the strongest duo. So none could compare. What was the point in investing in other people? That’s kinda why Gojo thinks he is alone. Because he saw Geto as his only friend and equal. Same for Geto in a way.

Shoko was there too, she was one of their friends too. But that’s the catch. She wasn’t really seen as a friend. You open up to a friend. You talk about your problems and joys with a friend. For me it seems that only Shoko saw them as her friends. So I’m sure if someone were to ask them, yes, sure, both would say Shoko is a friend. But we all have those people we call friends.. but are they really? They aren’t close friends, but they aren’t acquaintances either so they are somewhere inbetween.

This relationship crumbled mostly because of lack of honesty.

edit: oh and egocentrism. just two people who lied to each other, with different values, that grew dependent on the only close contact they had.

Coming back to this post after reading Gojo’s natal chart makes me feel kinda proud because I’m right lmao.

is it jsut me or do i get a lil sad whenever i play either one of splatoon's dlcs when i want to go back to splatsville/inkopolis square?? like i mean, it says "imagine splatsville" when you wanna go back in side order. even when you finish the dlcs it STILL says 'imagine' instead of 'go to ___'

like is eight just trapped there now? can they not be freed from their own dlcs?

i know thats not how nintendo intended for that button to be interpreted and i know eight probably actually goes back but i cant help but interprete it that way

i just saw someone say that "the vast majority of the userbase is complaining" about tumblr's recent layout change. i see this a lot after a change: people complaining about it (sometimes without saying what about it is bad, making it sound like either it's self-evident (it usually is not) or just that it's bad because it's change and change is always bad) and saying that everyone else is complaining about it too. i don't know how to tell you this but a) you don't follow every user on tumblr so how can you possibly know what "everyone" or "the majority of users" thinks about anything and b) ONLY THE PEOPLE WHO FEEL VERY STRONGLY ARE TALKING ABOUT IT!! people who are not bothered are not spending time posting about how unbothered they are! please look up "selection bias" and stop making me read this nonsense with my own eyeballs.

#i don't get what's so bad abt this change bc it doesn't bother me & no one is explaining it! the most i've seen is it's 'like twitter'#which people don't like i guess bc this might imply that tumblr could be taking more cues from twitter than just the layout?#which is also fallacious reasoning #some changes i do hate. like for instance the change that made it so i can no longer click to the version that someone rbed from #which breaks the prev tag culture :(#but some changes are whatever! and some changes are good even!!#it's fine if it takes time to get used to something being different of course but it seems like the reaction on here can be so extreme #so fast. "I'm fine," she says, for what feels like the millionth time.

"Bullshit," is Arthur's response. "I'm down an arm, Vi, not my fucking eyes. And ho- honestly, I wouldn't- wouldn't even need th-those to tell right now." A hand lands on her shoulder, pushing her down further into the chair for emphasis. "One more try. I'm gonna ask you how you are, and it'd be nice if you c-could answer me honestly."

She shoves him off and stands up, already stalking away, ignoring the shooting pain all up through her side when she does. "God, fuck you. Fuck off. This is so stupid. I don't need,"

And then her vision whites out.

She blinks herself fuzzily awake into a world much softer than the one she was just in. She's in bed, she registers, or at least a pile of blankets. The pain is gone, but it also feels like everything else isn't quite online, either. There's a vague clicking noise from somewhere to her right.

"...you hovering all the time," she finishes her thought, although it comes out too mumbly to really deliver.

"j'you say sa- s-something?" The clicking noise stops, and an Arthur appears in her field of view. He looks worried. So, like normal.

"Yeah, uh, what? Why am I in bed?"

Now he just looks exasperated, throwing his hand up in annoyance, which is an improvement at least. "You passed out, stupid! And th-th-then when I freak out, out about it you're all like oh no never mind it's whatever fr- from the fucking floor. 'Why am I in bed.' Dumbass."

She only vaguely remembers that, not that she's going to admit it. Well, okay, question answered. She tries to get up, and Arthur immediately shoves her back into the pillow.

"Hey," she protests.

He makes his usual staccato ch-ch-ch disapproval noise, which she usually thinks is cute when it isn't directed at her. "Nope. I j-just got done bandaging you up, you are not getting up. You, you are st-staying right here."

She tries to wrestle him off, but he's annoyingly persistent and her angle's all off. "Okay, I'm patched up! So it's fine! Let me out!"

Whup, and her hand is flat against the bed, and Arthur's hanging out of his chair to get his arm over her chest and pin her down. "No."

Probably she could flip him. Maybe. He'd hit the wall behind her but not, like, hard. She thinks about it. It's really hard to lift even the non-pinned arm. Maybe she couldn't.

"Stop being stupid," she tells him instead, sounding normal and not at all desperate. "This is nothing."

"It is- v-very much- not nothing."

"This can't be enough to stop me. It isn't! I'm better than this!"

"Get up, th-then!" he challenges.

"I'm not a fucking tranq'd animal!"

He yells wordlessly at her, she shouts back, until they're both panting.

She shoves him again, no real force behind it this time. This is such a waste of fucking time, when he damn well knows they never have enough of it. "I need to get up. You need me out there, you know that."

"Go to hell."

Now tears are welling in her eyes. She's screaming at herself, internally, but for some stupid reason it's not translating into more strength. "We're wasting time, here. I'm ready to go, I can move, I can work. Let me up."

He flops over, into a less aggressive pin, but not actually a less effective one. Their faces are almost touching, which was maybe the idea. "One more try," he says, again.

His damn stubbornness is another thing that she likes more when it isn't being used on her. This is not a fight she is going to win.

"If I fall asleep," she says reluctantly, "and you're not there when I wake up, I'm going to fucking kill you."

That gets a laugh out of him. "M'not going anywhere, Vi."

Max is a biter, there's teeth marks all over Adam's ass like all the time. He wants to bite elsewhere but my man leaves marks and teeth look a certain way and adam wears slutgear to the ring

It also took Max like a solid....while to realize he actually likes Adam and enjoys being around him. Adam realized way more quickly, but played up the "uuugh this fucking guyyyy" until Max caught him staring in the training ring and was like "dude, what's your problem? you keep looking at me like you want to eat me" and Adam could NOT hide the fact that he was already well past half mast, which weirded Max the hell out and he sat in the bathroom for like half an hour slowly untangling all those emotions (predominantly lust)

Piper likes adam but she gets jealous and bites him sometimes, just like her dad
