My writing disposition:
I'm genderqueer, mixed-race, autistic, polyamorous, and pansexual and not only put those qualities in my characters but am dead set on fucking with dry uninspiring stereotypes.
I'm talking about creating more poc vampires, natives in fantasy that aren't animalistic, black women in charge and black women who get to be gentle and delightful. Hybrid species characters who discover what their cultures mean to them and where they fit in with being mixed instead of living in the 'I'm mixed and angsty about it' pit the whole damn story. I'm talking middle eastern men shown as honest protectors, an incubus with asexual qualities, disabled faefolk, and soft gardener orcs. I'm here to serve chubby lamia, small characters who are never infantalized, and build terrible societies for my characters to burn and I hope someone dies mad about it.

🌐 Seven Circles 🌐
WIP I'll be posting about most. This is where I store my hate for capitalism, my trauma, my hope, and my persistent kink for fangs. Urban fantasy, 100k+, queer relationships and smut
Criminals fro. districts 2-4 are sometimes made to work in Nexis for 'rehabilitation', subject to demonic contracts that get extended over any minor slight the Nexans perceive in your service to them. Four characters are caught up in the demons' system of subjugation and they each have their own ideas of handling their position: complacency in servitude, manipulating a way to escape, diplomacy to bring change, and revenge fueled rebellion.
A global cataclysm brings about the end of a human-dominant era and now demons have taken over what's left of the world, ruling the Halkyonic empire and it's many species from lovely District 1, Nexis.
♦️Post Paedicom:
Version of our world where monsters, witches, and an original humanoid race called Elja exist- all of which are considered dangerous by humans. Takes place in Texas where two men, a witch and an Elja, fall for each other whilst hiding among humans and quietly keeping their town safe from monsters. Casually writing for now but may post art at some point.
💠Prodigium
Historic precursor to Post Paedicom when there were kings and carriages and sexy swordplay. Before the modern era where Elja are considered either government dogs or rogue monsters. In this era, the strong monster-immune species had a thriving civilization that lived in mutualism with humans, offering protection from monsters in exchange for produce and other farmed resources. This story is about the downfall of Eljankind, the deception of a coven of witches, and the punishing freedom of love.
🧭 Tide over Fathom:
Sea-monster hunting Naval Captain inadvertently gives a demigoddess of the sea passage on his ship. Perhaps my only straight-centered story (how tf that happened, I'll never know). I keep re-writing this one...

They're called Seeker, as their full name is far too long for the tastes of those living in Halkyon, none of which have ever seen Seeker's strange four-armed species before. The Kalilith have ever watched Halkyon from their mysterious isle among the clouds, but now they have sent a diplomat to make contact. Seeker sets out to make peaceful relations with the surface-dwellers only to become trapped in the twisted machinations of the demons who rule them..

According to Greek mythology, Alkyone, the daughter of the god of the winds, became so distraught when she learned that her husband had been killed in a shipwreck that she threw herself into the sea and was changed into a kingfisher. As a result, ancient Greeks called such birds alkyon or halkyon. The legend also says that such birds built floating nests on the sea, where they so charmed the wind god that he created a period of unusual calm that lasted until the birds’ eggs hatched. This legend prompted people to use halcyon both as a noun naming a genus of kingfisher and as an adjective meaning either “of or relating to the kingfisher or its nesting period” or “calm.”

“Oh there has to be one at least or two.” I state, smiling. “I mean there's a rainbows worth of colors.” I fiddle with his tie absently, resisting the urge to close my eyes with his hands running through my hair. “What's your thoughts on synthesized gems? I find them pretty, but wonder if they could compare with real natural ones.” I jump slightly when my phone rings. I give him a sheepish smile. “Sorry. I should answer that.” I sit up, sightly disappointed. I was comfortable. (½)
Pulling out my phone, I glance at the screen. Unknown caller, phone number hidden too. I get up and walk a bit away and answer the call. “Hello, Halkyone speaking.” “Ello, Witchy Witch. Guess who found your number~” I bite my lower lip as my grip on the phone tightened. “We need you for bait, Witchy Witch.” “No thank you. Please don’t call again.” I said softly, hanging up and stuffing my phone in my pocket. I take a deep breath, closing my eyes tiredly. They just had to find my number. (2/2)
He couldn’t help but smile as she started to gently play with the end of his tie, his fingers still carding their way through her hair. He tilted his head, her hair was so much softer than his own, and it slid through his fingers easily.
“Synthesized gems work well enough in a pinch Doll, but they’re a bit harder to polish, and get to look the way that real gems can. Then again, I could just need to practice with um’ a bit more.”
He felt her tense up when her phone went off, his hand pausing before she sat up. He gave a gentle nod of his head. “Course Doll.”
He watched her pace, and the expressions on her face change to one of discontent, and immediately he got up from the couch, and stood at her back. His brows rose as he caught two words from the caller on the phone. ‘Witchy Witch.’ and he frowned. When she told them to not call again, he gently brought his hand up to her bicep, and petted his fingers along her arm.
“You alright Doll?”
