It's not 'having something critical to say' about DEI that's so shockingly racist.
No, it's seeing an accident and then, to explain it the *first* thing your mind goes to is "diversity" (?) never-mind overall airline safety has been getting better. Never-mind there are no metrics on if airlines even are more diverse.
It is literally stubbing your toe & blaming the "the Jews" cartoon-level racism. Not "racially tinged" not "contentious" not "controversial" not "edgy" just wildly absurdly flat out racist.
The guy who runs twitter is openly (and loudly) racist. I'm disgusted whenever I see a company with a link to their logo, and I continue to lose respect for people and orgs who remain there every day.
Don't have that disgusting logo on your website, or on your product, or on your profile. It's a bad look.
my MLK day tradition is finding old white christians posting MLK quotes about love as their statuses for MLK day and commenting one of his radically socialist or anti-racist quotes that they like to forget about.
On Martin Luther King Jr. Day, find out from the nonprofit organization Teach For America how you can honor and celebrate the civil rights leader’s life & legacy.
wishing every liberal that misquotes mlk, every white person who uses his words to pretend that he was not a radical civil rights activist, every person who pits him against malcolm, every person who boils him down to senseless nonviolence with no strategy, every person who thinks that he would be okay with invasive and exploitative capitalistic structures, every bigot who uses his language to push back against the exact thing he sought a very disappear and become a cold case that some white woman on tiktok recounts for clicks
