If Stockholm traveler actually was kept for over a year it means he would encounter another Christmas.

Sun and moon go to one of Monty’s houses to celebrate together and give him the honor of sleeping outside in a doghouse that Monty made. And Stockholm was absolutely ecstatic about this. They actually got him a gift this year! Monty made sure to chain him to the house so that he wouldn’t escape but he barely minded because that was to be expected. He got a gift, so what if he’s sitting outside in the dead of winter alone on Christmas. His family was so nice to him, they even made the chain long enough so he could watch the festivities through the living room window!
