Pool of light orb with sterling silver band I forged in my studio with a cosmic Smoky quartz orb. The characteristic colour of smoky quartz occurs in nature when rock crystal quartz is exposed to natural radiation from radioactive elements or adjacent radioactive rocks over long periods of time. Also in the Victorian era, dark Smoky Quartz gemstones from the Irish Mourne Mountains were favoured in mourning jewellery. My first passion has always been astrology but I wanted to deepen my intuitive practice so I became a Soul Reader after intensive training within an English Traditional Healing Circle and spending 5 years drawing with my non dominant left hand after turning 40 in 2005.
