hey there, so i write, myself currently in the middle of a novel werewolf one too no less. and progress has come to a halt thanks to your blog and demo lmao, great premise also even in the demo your pacing and writing are perfect, i must say, you really set the tone perfectly anyway, oh and nice choice going with the Helsing like werewolf too. i'm gushing a little too much though i could say a lot more lol i do have a couple questions though.

What inspired you to go with a, I guess darker theme for the story?

Also how would the Ros react/calm a shifted Mc that is kind of berserking out due to the grief? really I'm curious if any of them would sing to them lol i mean it would super sweet no?

first of all I would *love* to see your werewolf novel because I adore werewolf media, and second AAAAAAAAAA THANK YOUUUU i really try my best to make the pacing not feel rushed or drag on too long. I love Helsing's werewolves and like as much as I adore werewolves that are just big wolves, i prefer Helsing's cause it gives them that needed human aspect without making the werewolf just look like a really hairy guy OR like an all skin no fur werewolf. aaa just thank you again it means a lot ^^

In all honesty I'm just better suited for dark themes when it comes to writing, I grew up on psychological thrillers and mysteries, eventually branching out to action and horror. It's not that I don't enjoy a good happy story I just feel disingenuous when *I* try to write one. Long story short, I just like my angst

ooooo a very good scenario, the ro's responses would vary depending on if romanced or not but I'm going to write them as if MC is romancing them ^^

The Hunter:

Hunter has dealt with many rampaging werewolves before, but never one they were close to... let alone one they were in love with. They know they can't use any of their weapons, even just the thought makes them sick, so the other alternative. They approach MC, hands up and showing that they have no weapons on them, that they mean no harm, and once they're close enough they wrap their arms around MC and hug them, holding them close and not letting go even if their back gets torn to shreds, even if MC growls and tries to break free. Hunter knows that MC will calm down and realize it's them eventually, and they don't mind. Hunter heals fast and they've been through worse, what they can't handle is knowing MC is in pain to the point they've gone berserk. Eventually MC would calm down and Hunter would be holding a human MC. Hunter would kiss their forehead before taking off their own shirt for MC to put on. If MC started to worry about Hunter's injuries Hunter would just shake their head and smile, "Already healed over darlin, I'm OK. Let me have your back for once alright?"

The Detective:

Detective knows MC's been through a lot of shit, honestly they're surprised MC's gone so long without freaking out like this. Detective has seen a lot of shit themself, they've seen good people die, seen bad people get treated like heroes just cause they paid off the right people to keep mouths zipped tight. So no, they don't judge MC or think less of them. It does hurt, though, to know MC's in pain and there's really not much Detective can do to help. What they can do, is buy a few hot dogs and sit down near MC and pat the spot next to them, "I can't imagine what you're going through... This city seems to find new ways to ruin peoples lives every second." And Detective would sigh and take a bit out of their hot dog before looking up at MC, "I'm here for you though, no matter what I've got your back MC. You're one of the few genuine people left in this fuckin place. You still got emotions." And they'd give a sad smile, "Hell you helped me realize I still got em too, so let me help you out. Let me help carry this shit that's got you so down." And they'd both sit there for a while, MC eventually turning back to their human form and maybe they talk for a while, maybe they just sit in each other's company, whatever MC needs. Eventually Detective would drape their long coat over MC's shoulders and help them up and then, then Detective would pull them into a soft kiss, holding them close and resting their foreheads together. Detective may not be good with words, but they want, no they *need* MC to know that they're gonna be there for MC no matter what.

The Ghost:

They saw it all happen, MC reading what Ghost assumed was just another letter from a client or intel source, and then MC shaking and hyperventilating, fur growing out of their skin as muscles began to tear and snap, MC's form breaking itself and reshaping as they began to turn. Of course Ghost was freaking out, not because they were scared, but for MC. Because they had no idea what had triggered them, and clearly it was enough to send them into a full-blown panic attack. Ghost would quickly read over whatever had set MC off to get an idea of what was going on in their head, and to read it would break Ghost's heart as well, but they had an idea now. Ghost would rush to MC's side, gently holding the sides of MC's face, "MC I'm so sorry..." and talk to them, telling mc that no one should have to go through what MC's been through, that it's not fair that MC keeps getting more shit piled onto their plate, but then assuring MC that they don't have to go through it alone anymore. Not only are they a team, but they're partners. Ghost will be by their side no matter what, and that they're ready to step in and help whenever MC needs a shoulder to lean on. They would rub MC's cheek and kiss their forehead before murmuring, "I love you MC, and I always will. It's okay to get overwhelmed, we're in this together." Eventually when MC calms down Ghost would get a blanket for them to wrap up in before making a comfort meal for MC and suggest they watch something to distract themselves.

The Loner:

The Loner can tell MC has gone berserk due to overwhelming emotions (its like a severe panic attack for werewolves) and Loner has been there before. It's terrifying and easier to just let the wolfish instincts to take over, but they also know it means something truly upset MC to get them to this point. Loner would shift into their wolf form and approach carefully, very relaxed and open in their posture until MC would recognize their scent. At that point Loner would nuzzle MC and hold their hands, putting one over their own chest before putting theirs's on MC's to show that MC wasn't alone in this. Loner would then howl a little before nudging MC to do the same. Instead of let the emotions overwhelm them, Loner would have MC howl it out (sort of like screaming but more cathartic as it itches both that need to just scream and cry as well as the wolfish instincts). Loner would stay there with them, howling until MC could finally return to their human form and Loner would do the same, picking them up and holding them close and assuring them that they'd figure this out together. Loner wouldn't pressure them to talk about what set them off, they just want MC to know it's natural to get overwhelmed to this point, and that Loner will be there for them no matter what.

The Burglar:

The Burglar is naturally someone who doesn't take many things seriously, but after they realize that they have been falling in love with MC? MC's the one thing they really do take seriously. They would approach the situation carefully, trying to figure out why MC has gone berserk, if MC was hurt, all these things before shoving the thoughts aside. It's their MC after all, and while Burglar may not have the greatest singing voice they do play the violin quite well. What better way to calm down a werewolf than a lullaby? Burglar would sit down close to MC and begin to play a calming tune, all the while encouraging MC that they're here for them, that they can figure this out together, that they're still loved, and that Burglar isn't scared off in any way. After all they're partners. I think eventually the MC would lay down next to Burglar and Burglar would start to rub their head and continue to talk about little things until MC calmed down enough to go back to their human form, and Burglar would drape their coat around MC's shoulders before carrying them somewhere safe and quite.

The Spouse:

They hate seeing MC in so much pain and their heart aches for MC. It's terrifying seeing anyone lose control, but for Spouse it just saddens them deeply. They don't know what set MC off, but MC sounds so mournful and hurt. Spouse knows not to spook MC in this state so they approach MC slowly, their voice is calm as they call out, "My love, I'm here. I'm here for you," And stretching out their hand for MC to hold. They know MC won't hurt them, and yes its terrifying, but Spouse knows their MC is in there. Mc is in there and hurting and just needs someone on their side to help lighten the load. Once MC would approach Spouse would put MC's hand on their cheek before kissing their palm/paw and hugging them close, rubbing their back and continuing to murmur, "It's alright MC. I'm here. I'm never leaving again alright? I'm here for you."

Top 5 works I'm proud of: one of my top 5 is currently a wip. The rest:

fire close to the heart (platonic sciles) I just liked that I finally made a fic where Stiles is saving Scott. (It's messy and I love it.)

Inked (Scott + Lydia, gen) I look back at it and see i should have done some stuff differently but! Tattoos are so interesting and I wanted platonic scydia feels and I got that. I love them.

A Werewolf Heat (sciles) this was another experiment with smut. tho I didn't go that deep into it as much as I wanted to and I keep saying I might continue it 😂 and I DO think about that. A lot. Every time I write lol. But honestly I want to do another that is so much better than that one? From my reread, it needs editing. it got way more love in kudos and in comments (in my opinion) than I expected. and I was so proud. I also love when fics talk about heats. Its werewolves! Especially with Scott! Why not take advantage of that. And I tried! 🥰

A Visit (kira pov) I don't know why but I'm so happy about this one. It was the first time I wrote for kira. Maybe it was the first fic I did research with too (altho I kept it to teen wolf's interpretation of skin walkers mostly). This was a gift for momentofmemory 🧡

2. 4 current WIPS (many may not get posted before new year tho)

A fanart for an existing fic. I may have to redraw kira since she's very close to the frame and I want to center more attention on her too.

A fluffy Getting Together Malira fic

Fic with Rafael. I have two that I'm thinking to combine. This focused a lot on Scott too, so I'm contemplating to save it for Scott appreciation.

Sekret fic. That I hope gets finished before the year ends.

3. Three biggest improvements in writing/art

I'm getting comfortable drawing hands and bodies! (Art) I refused to draw those before.

I think my grammar is getting slightly better. Or at least, I worry about it less. Which is MAJOR for me.

the wips listed above and outside it is showing me that I am capable of indulging more. It's fanfic after all.

4. Top 2 resolutions for blog/writing?

Write more fic that goes out of my comfort zone. (Sciles is awesome and I will still write them a lot, but I want to explore different characters and other ships that I like too. Like Scisaac, Scydia, Jennifer/Kali, Malira, some POLYSHIPS, Lydia centric stuff, etc. Those are examples, and I don't promise anything.)

An art resolution would be to practice lighting and shading some more!

Im gonna skip the last question because that's hard. My favorite is in one of my WIPS.

This is REALLY FUCKING LONG so hope y’all enjoy lmao. (Sorry if formatting looks weird- blame tumblr)

OK HERE WE GO PEOPLE- I will start by saying I don’t hate The Quarry. I like it very very much, but I think that it could be BETTER. Speedrun what I find lacking in the game.

1. There’s literally no ending

2. Some characters having no personality (looks at Abi and Nick)

3. Honestly they don’t feel like friends/ people who’ve worked with kids for a summer

4. They move from area to area with little reward/ purpose in the end. (Looks at Junkyard scene- like wtf was that for)

5. Also- some choices just- don’t make sense (looks at Dylan cutting off his whole ass hand with a old ass chainsaw/ fucking gun and doesn’t immediately die from blood loss/ has no worry about possible infection afterwards.)

Listen- I get that it’s supposed to be like a cheesy slasher film (“that what the VCR box covers are for” I KNOW) but I really did not get that feeling AT ALL when playing. It just felt like bad writing at times.

SO! Here’s my version: The Quarry starts off like a cheesy slasher film (beginning of the game is mostly the same- Max and Laura’s little horror movie moment, wanting to stay a day longer bc of Emma, cheesy fire pit scene…)- with all the characters playing up a certain archetype ( Emma- “popular girl”, Jacob- “stupid jock”, Nick- “try hard nice guy”, Abi- “quite nerd”. Kaitlyn- “headstrong leader”, Dylan- “comic relief”, Ryan- “brooding loner”) to 1000%, to the point where it’s almost cringe worthy. (If you can’t predict whatever stupid ass line they’re gonna say next- I don’t want it.) BUT THEN- as the night goes on they gain more depth and shit. Idk this can tie into a parallel/metaphor of the werewolf where these teens are changing into people they’re not- becoming a monstrous version of themselves in their eyes??? Idk I’m spitballing, don’t think about it too deeply.

The Hag of Hacketts Quarry will play a bigger part in the actual story- wanting revenge against the Hacketts and supernaturally influencing the teens and the wolves to try and kill all the Hacketts. The Hacketts ARE NOT ASSHOLES FOR NO REASON- they are a normal family (who treats Ryan like family too) who are trying their best to fix the mess they made, in the worst way possible. This way- the player can morally struggle if they decide to end the Hackett family bloodline.

(Beware- it is truly so long beneath this read more- I sincerely thought about just putting a link to somewhere you can read this but thought that was too much effort for everyone involved. Have fun :D)

I went really in-depth in my jumbled notes, including what different choices would look like, but I’ll follow my “Best Ending” Route bc it’s the one that gives everyone a chance to shine.

DA CHARACTERS AND THEIR ARCS:

- Dylans pretty fine as is. Add that he feels like a liar to Ryan and can’t truly date him cause he’s been putting on a persona all summer. Overcompensates with humor

- Kaitlyn- very confident in who she is (anyone who’s that good with a gun automatically is lol)- but also has bad anxiety attacks or something. Like she’s very go with the flow and know what she’s about but if she thinks about her life and future too long that’s when she starts to spiral. A true “try to casually dismiss all the problems in my life” kinda gal. (Same bestie)

- Jacob: similar to original but needs to play up his heart more, shows he really cares for his friends. Have him be very sacrificial. He’ll act like a stereotypical bro jock at first but he’ll reveal his true himbo nature later on. He acts goofy bc it makes people/the kids laugh the most but feels like maybe he’s too annoying at times/ pushes it too far.

- Emma: A pretty big influencer, convincing Hackett that a “day to day” vlog about the camp and councilors will help bring popularity/ positively impact reputation. Have her constantly blogging and preforming for the camera. Arc will be her hating that and wanting to quit but not wanting to let people down.

- Abi: Needs more personality in general. Have her go from reserved and walk overy to self confident and brave. Have her be crafty and smart (picking locks, putting together the truth?, getting out of situations cleverly).

- Fucking Nick: needs the most work of all. Why tf is he British? That’s his only personality bro. He feels like he needs to conform, his accent makes him feel like he stands out too much and people secretly make fun of him. All the other councilors have been working together for years, but he’s just joined the team this summer so he feels extra out of place. He’s a try hard, sucking up to Jacob a lot- he doesn’t need to tho, Jacob likes him as a friend/ as he is.

- Ryan just needs to either get over denial faster or make it very obvious he’s in denial and have others call him out. Main problem people had with him was he was kinda on Chris’ side, was defending them/he looked sus as hell. Highlight his relationship with the Hacketts more. Show that he’s like family to them. Also should show people look to him as their natural leader- have the others respect him more. Have him seem aloof because he didn’t really know how to interact with others, and sometimes the feelings don’t feelings so he can’t communicate/ emote his emotions that well. Would rather be seen as brooding and mysterious then incompetent at emotion.

Ok Major Backstory changes that the story revolves around-

- THE HAG HAS A BIGGER INVOLVEMENT. Basically everything’s gone to shit cause of her/ her want of revenge. Thought tonight is the perfect opportunity (all the teens there- scare them into killing Hacketts/ send Turned wolfs after Hacketts)

- Chris’ kids were being kept in the electric cages in the basement (for reasons explained later). The Hag caused a power outage that night so that’s how they escaped into the wild.

- Play up an unexplained anger towards the Hacketts/ Chris when things go to shit (it’s the Hags influence in an effort to make them kill the Hacketts)

- Only the brothers (cousins? I forgot what they were) go after the councilors, and there’s not a single thought behind those eyes so thought it was best to kidnap and hide the teens until dangers over to not risk them knowing the Truth TM.

- Ryan can only romance Dylan- sorry Kaitlyn but there was 0 chemistry/ scenes in the original so… (Also that stupid “thing” between Lauren and Ryan doesn’t exist cause it’s so pointless.)

Story lets go:

Beginning will stay mostly the same- again, play up archetypes and makes super cheesy. Jacob will take the car piece/ cut fuel line because he wants to “hang with Emma one more night” (Or so he says). Have Ryan step up after Chris leaves and be more instant that they stay in the cabin and the player can choose wether they do or don’t. (If they stay inside no one can get bit.)

Sine we’re going best ending- everyone stays inside. Just move fire pit scene to a fireplace setting. Emma and Jacob still get snacks/ gun after approval from Ryan and a promise to stick together. Have everyone play up their respective archetypes more/ longer and establish relationship dynamics. The power goes out (cause of the Hag) and the campers decide to crowd around the fireplace.

Fire place is where real personalities start to show. HIGHLIGHT HOW THEY ARE ALL FRIENDS. I mean ffs they worked with kids with each other for a whole summer (and have worked with each other previous summers), they should interact more comfortably with each other. They can talk about their summer with the campers and stupid horror stories of working with little kids during summer. Can acknowledge how they self censor themselves unconsciously etc. Have that be a set up for whatever ridiculous swears they say.

Etc etc, truth or dare- Kiss Dylan/ Kaitlyn will impact how much Ryan like Dylan back (along with how many flirty dialogue was picked). Emma and Nick- both will look hesitant but will both go through with the kiss dare (Emma being super showy about it and filming it while Nick doesn’t want to be called a coward). No one runs off cause that stupid and who tf runs off into the dark forest bc your crush kissed someone else 💀. Just show Jacob being sad and Abi also being sad but also kinda accepting her fate cause she didn’t think she was good enough for Nick anyways. Cue Awkward Tension that Dylan breaks with a joke. Emma then dare Abi to, idk, move everything in Hacketts office over by an inch. Nick volunteers to help (cause he saw how sad/ understanding she looked and wanted to talk) and they head off. Jacob says he’s gonna take a breather but Emma knows what’s up and follows him eventually.

Nick and Abi have conversation/ interaction similar to original game in Hacketts office. (“Ha, so are we actually gonna move everything?” “Let’s just move his stapler and wait for a few minutes ha, I’m not moving everything.” *Then they talk or whatever*)

Meanwhile Emma meets up with Jacob- she complains a bit or whatever and asks why Jacobs so bothered since they’re not together anymore. Reveal that Jacob never got a straight answer as to why, other then a vague “long distance won’t work”, and asks if she even truly liked him in the first place or if he actually was some summer fling. Emma will look hesitant but then BOOM GUNSHOTS ARE HEARD NEARBY (it’s the brothers trying to tranc at a werwolf trying to get in the cabin).

Everyone obviously gets concerned. They can hear scratching, whatever, more gunshot, essentially near their window. The brothers come knocking on the door, and that’s when shit goes down, everyone has to hide and run away. Would be a hold breath situation that you can fail or win as they break into the cabin. If win, Jacob will decide to eventually self sacrifice cause the brothers were close to Dylan and Abi or something. Shouts and runs out causing the brothers to follow him. After they leave Dylan says they should get help via the radio shack. Emma, Abi and Nick go to find Jacob (Nick has the gun) Dylan, Kaitlyn and Ryan go to shack after taking Chris gun.

Emma, Nick and Abi find Jacob caught in a trap yelling, the brothers putting blood on face. If Jacob took the car piece, it’ll be lost as he’s trashing around. They can eavesdrop to what they are saying into walkie talkie to gain some context early on or attack straight out. Attack sequence. Abi and Nick will team up against two hunters while Emma gets Jacob out. The hunters aren’t trying to kill them so they’re like, trying to knock the teens out at best. Cue Abi and Nick fighting for their lives lmao. Emma will get Jacob out, and you can fail the fight resulting in Nick and Abi getting captured. However, best case scenario, you pass the quick time events and everyone will run as soon as Jacobs free. Will head to the radio shack.

Jacob and Emma will hang back and try to pick up the convo they started in the cabin on way to radio shack. Maybe start to dive into the problem of Emma’s want to not disappoint her fans and how that’s affected how she acts with Jacob. Abi and Nick will also talking. Idk maybe they’ll try to compare themselves to Emma and Jacob. Like the Nick will feel like how he doesn’t fit in/ not as outgoing as Jacob, Abi feeling the same about Emma. Everyone will eventually group together together to speculate wtf is happening.

Meanwhile- Kaitlyn will hover a good distance ahead of Dylan and Ryan cause she knows what’s up with them. Says it’s to protect their sorry asses since she’s the best with a gun but is really wingmaning for Dylan lol. The conversation bw Ryan and Dylan being the same as in game cause that was cute. At shacks, everything’s mostly same with Kaitlyn hanging by the door to be on watch (she will also provide biting commentary when Dylan does his famous SOS speech etc.

K- “Wow I can’t believe I’m the only one in possession of a brain cell here.”

D-“Hey- You we’re supposed to hand over custody of it hours ago”

K-“well clearly you’ve failed to pick it up at the specified time so I’m keeping it for the weeken-“

R-“Holy shit guys can we focus on not dying rn please”)

Dylan won’t ask to amputate arm bc that so stupid and unrealistic without proper medical equipment. He will be bit if opened door in first chapter with Abi, no choice to cut off arm/ stop effects. But in Best RouteTM Abi doesn’t opens the door. Continue as usual with the second group arriving, hiding in the cabin and attracting the wolf, and Dylan chasing it away with radio frequency. The group meets up, (Could include Emma’s air freshener/mace scene with Dylan when he opens the cabin door bc that shit was funny) and hears Lauren injuring the daughter. (Ok I thought long an hard about it but I think the player should have the opportunity to save all the Hacketts. I can’t make it possible to save everyone but one- it’s not very rewarding. SO INSTEAD- she only injured the daughter but thinks she killed Chris because 1) she couldn’t get close to the body to verify with all the councilors immediately rushing onto the scene and 2) thought that just shooting a silver bullet would do the trick and didn’t think much about aiming for the head/ heart- so she just got her in like the leg). The teens will see this Thing passed out by the water- that’s clearly not a bear- and freak tf out. The immediately hide in the swimming pool area. The daughter wolf will be heard retreating bc she’s got this bullet scorching her from the inside in her leg and is weak from the water puddles near the pool.

Ok here Jacob will confess to messing with the car. Bc that didn’t get talk about at all in game. Everyone will be outraged of course. Emma will be like wtf are you serious rn. Jacob defends himself like “I just wanted to talk- I felt like we wouldn’t get another chance- I just wanted tonight to be fun I literally had no idea this was gonna happen.” Admit he lost the piece if he took it. Eventually Ryan says he forgives him. Some people (Emma? Abi?) can be like wtf but Kaitlyn will chime in and agree like- “it’s in the past, there’s literally nothing we can do. If werwolves weren’t a thing this probably would have been the best night ever, just hanging with you all one last time.” Everyone will reflect on that- Jacob will look grateful. Ryan will agree like, “we need to keep our heads on straight anyways- Kaitlyn is 100% right- it’s in the past. Lets focus on what to do next/ how to survive”

(If either Abi, Nick got bit - here would be a transformation/ shooting scene, similar to the original, but since this is the Best Route and no one’s bit we shall move on)

Nervous breakdowns time (yay) especially from Ryan. He keeps trying to keep the situation under control and downplay/ logic his way out through increasingly ludicrous excuses. Dylan will call him out/ calm him down (though this can be done by Kaitlyn if Dylan’s romance points are low). Big Time will pass with them trying to think of what to do and passing back and forth information/ evidence player has collected when Laura knocks. They’ll move to main room to crowd around door. Continue as game. Have Ryan act more leader-ly with the others huddling together behind Jacob, and Kaitlyn (who still have both guns bc it’s stupid how one of them gets lost in the original game) who are on either side of Ryan. Continue as usual as Laura explains where she’s been.

Everything there’s the same. Backstory wasn’t wasn’t awful in my opinion. Travis asks for help, she agrees yadda yadda. HOWEVER- I think his reasoning for her helping him was a bit shit tho. So- he’s kept her there to watch her boyfriend turn to convince her that helping him will save Max (Bigger chance of finding them, if only slightly though he’ll take any help at this point). She’ll agree bc it’s canon she’ll do anything to save Max. Hell, LET TRAVIS ACTUALLY BRING HER HIS FINDINGS AND PLAN SHIT WITH HER (but he doesn’t tell her everything- just enough info to plan to kill Silas). They’ll work as a ACTUAL TEAM and wait till the next full moon. Time skip a month, plan is Laura and Travis will split up trying to find the wolf in the woods. Laura brings Max cause she doesn’t want him locked up alone/ doesn’t fully trust Travis to not pull some shit. Understands Silas has an attachment to that burnt circus and focuses there before spreading out. Boom power outage happens, Travis gets called to house. Laura goes on to “kill” the daughter thinking it’s Chris, yadda yadda, visit island, etc. She’ll note Max escaped (because be fr no way a werwolf is bested by a fucking locked trapped door when he can just burst through the roof or something) and gets chased off the island similar to Emma in the original (QTE and all). NOTE: There will be another wolf who joins the chase near the end (Spoiler alert- it’s Chris cause he knew he wouldn’t be able to make it to the cages in time) If she fails enough QTE she has her werewolf bite, but again- Perfect Route so that doesn’t exist and her eye will forever be fucked (Kinda cheep for them to give her this gruesome injury only to magic it away :/).

Present day. Cue pissed off everyone about how Chris/ the Hacketts willingly put them and LITTLE KIDS in danger. Play up that unexplained anger in everyone, though Ryan’s is a bit more low-key. Laura learns of the power outage, that the thing she shot wasn’t dead - and says “welp I don’t have time for this I’m off to hunt Chris’s ass down for real this time.” Have Ryan intervene and convinces her to let him talk to the Hacketts to properly explain what tf is happening. Again, the Hacketts are not assholes cause that’s cheap. Really have Ryan drive home that he thinks of them like family and Vice versa. (Cause like Chris cares for him, he’s on good standing with his kids, if the parents/brothers lives on campus why isn’t he good with them too???) Have Ryan pled with her to not harm the Hacketts. That he’ll help her hunt down Silas (They all will- everyone volunteers) and their best bet is gathering all the info from the source. Offers to take her to the Hacketts residence so they can hear the explanation together (half because he doesn’t trust her not to go off by herself and kill Chris). Laura agrees cause they might also have an idea where Chis is, but is willing to at least hear what they have to say. Meanwhile Emma, Jacob, Abi and Nick will head back to camp while Dylan and Kat go to find a car part to replace. Kaitlyn will say only her and Dylan will go bc it has less a chance of someone else getting hurt and really what’s one more person gonna help against a friking werwolf. Ryan agrees and everyone splits off, each group having a gun for protection.

IN THE CABIN:

The gang will hole up in Chris’s office bc staying in the cellar is useless and scary.

Nick and Abi will hang by the bedroom/ be elsewhere while Emma and Jacob finally get the the root of their problems in the main room. Similar to Abi and Emma’s convo in the original, perhaps Emma is trying and failing to maintain her persona as she’s record everything for evidence/ diary log sake. Jacob will ask why she’s still pandering to an audience. He says that he felt like he rarely spent time with the real her. Emma has her heart to heart where she feels like it’s all she has- how she understands it’s why their relationship was so strained in the first place but couldn’t break free from her following that easily. She broke up with him not cause of lack of wanting to make long distance work or lack of love but because she felt like he didn’t deserve to date someone like her: their entire relationship being founded and so tightly integrated with this fake personality she’s created. Like said before- she hates it and what it’s done to her life but it feels like a switch she can’t turn off sometimes and the guilt of letting down people who constantly praise her for being a source of happiness and entertainment is enough to stop her from attempting to fix that. Jacob listens and understands- he felt at times he was putting on a tough/goffy act like she does. Cause it makes people smile the most. That he’s not sure if his everyone even likes him all that much or if he’s too annoying. Plus he feels responsible and super guilty for everyone being stuck here.

Abi and Nick will then interrupt saying they’ve heard enough - having eavesdropped on the whole convo.

Abi and Nick will say theirs heart to hearts to those two. Abi starts by saying that Emma has no reason to fear everyone being disappointed in her because she’s awesome the way she is. Emma never really played up the part around Abi that much since she doesn’t like the camera/is camera shy so she know how Emma really acts (which isn’t that different from the persona she plays. Her friendliness and her kindness of reaching out to anyone not included is very much there) . Claims that the true followers don’t like her for the drama she creates but the kindness and affection she has towards her friends and the kids. Goes on to complement her and her people skills. She understands her following is important to her but tells her that she really has no reason to be afraid to reveal her true self since she’s already so great, that the people who really love her content will stick around.

Nick could bring up the kiss dare between him and Emma- how unhappy she looked after. Say that he held his tongue bc he felt like he didn’t have the right to say anything since he’s not THAT close with her- but now says that he see how taxing performing all the time is on her- and how she deserves to be able to do whatever she wants.

THEN he rears to Jacob to say AND YOU WDYM YOURE TOO ANNOYING??? YOU LITERALLY SACRIFICED YOURSELF FOR EVERYONE WDYM YOU THINK EVERYONE HATES YOU? He reassures that while he was really PISSED at him for messing with the car- before everything turned to shit it WAS a fun night and it honestly Chris’s fault for hosting a fucking kids camp while being a werwolf/ near werwolf ground. He goes on to say his insecurities- that Jacob is the only guy to make him feel included. That he was the one who constantly reached out to Nick when Nick felt outcasted because he’s a new counselor and his accent (idk kids would probably mildly make fun of that shit and he’s been mocked in the past so not good combo ig) Jacobs his roll model- and perhaps he’s been trying a little too hard to fit in but he wants to be liked in the same way everyone likes Jacob.

Abi agrees and says how Jacob would always reach out to her and Ryan (two of the more shyer members of the group) whenever they did something. It pushed her out of her comfort zone but it was honestly what she needed- otherwise she wouldn’t have been as close with/ even talked to the others now. Goes on to say he was a good person who helped whoever needed it- counseled or kid.

THEN A WERWOLF HOWLES IN THE DISTANCE (or wherever the fuck they do). They’re safe but that spurs them to try and piece together everything so far. Mayhaps depending on how many clues the player finds affects if they can piece together the Hag’s revenge / can actually come up with a plan or not?

MEANWHILE- Dylan and Kaitlyn go to the junkyard to look for the part. They ALSO have a good heart to heart. Kaitlyn sees Dylan STRUGGLING IN THE TRENCHES with Ryan. Dylan thinks Kaitlyn likes Ryan cause of her little “dark brooding and mysterious joke” and tries to ask her opinion on the other councilors (But he really wants to know about her opinion on Ryan). She sees right through that shit but still messes with him- (this can 100% be a player choice to either keep going to another camper or just say “like Ryan?” lmao) like “Oh Emma? She funny as fuck and always so kind despite her popular bitch online persona. Jacob? a himbo (he’s trying), I’m jealous of Abis drawing talent like wtf, Nicks super chill and he was a riot with the kids (lmao do you know how many kids had crushes on him?)”.

Eventually Dylan will be like “don’t make me say it”- Bla bla banter- “so……. do you like Ryan??? Plz stop laughing I need to know, Kaitlyn this isn’t funny” and Kaitlyn just laughing her ass off like “boi im aroace” (ok maybe this is me projecting) but she can just say “I was JOKING LMAO IM NOT INTO HIM” and Dylan will be like“……..ok- but like what about that Laura girl do you think he’s into her? He’s probably into her right? I mean she’s so badass and she very competent which I am totally NOT so-“ and Kaitlyn will turn to him and dead-pan say “ you dumb bitch first of all she’s taken- she’s literally hunting down werewolf’s BECAUSE of her boyfriend what makes you think she’ll let Ryan’s skinny ass make a move on her?”

Romance point level will effect Kaitlyns advice. With a high amount she’ll say “plus he’s totally into you.” Cue spluttering from Dylan and lame excuses (wow this is really rom-comy) and she’s like upupupup. Now if Ryan kissed Dylan she can bring that up but if he kissed Kaitlyn then she can comment how disappointed he looked at himself. She’ll be like- “he’s so into you- I mean, I overheard you telling him about your nerdy alter ego back when we were heading for the radio. You had a total Rom-Com moment“ *cue more spluttering from Dylan* Kaitlyn will laugh but then she’ll be like “ok but seriously- that guy is really into you man. He talks more around you then anyone else- he seems interested whenever you talk- hell! You even told him about you’re nerdy science side and he was not fazed.“

“Yeah but what if he was only pretending? What if he was only interested in DJ Dylan *cue stupid hand gesture* ? I really don’t think I could handle a rejection like that for… no that’s it. I can’t handle rejection full stop.” (Insert more self deprecating things here about a feeling of fake confidence and such whenever he interact with Ryan because he can’t handle him not liking how he truly is)

“well fuck that man- I mean we’re still teens right? Listen- I know what it’s like, to be afraid of the future ok?” Kaitlyn will then go on to say how she used to meticulously worry about her future, whether she’d be able to survive the “adult world” on her own. Was constantly trying to plan for the future that she didn’t realize she was wasting her present. And it didn’t even matter anyways because it’s impossible to plan for the future. She was only supposed to be a sub councilor to cover for Jacob for a few weeks but seeing how carefree and happy Dylan, the kids, just everyone was made her realize how uptight she was about being constantly prepared for anything. She’s still afraid of what the future will hold of cause but she won’t superficial things stop what she wants to do now,- “just like I won’t let your fear of possible rejection stop you from AT LEAST shooting your shot. Like being rejected right now, would not even be close to the top worse things that have happened tonight. We’ve quite literally almost died like three times and counting and found out that werewolves are real.“ She then goes on to complement Dylan’s smarts and humor, his instinct to cheer up anyone who needs it. (“Would you honestly want to date someone you can’t be yourself around? If he doesn’t like “Dylan Dylan” that’s on HIM not YOU.”) Goes on to say that Ryan should be so LUCKY as to date a dude like him and-

“In fact… I want you to promise me. Pinky promise me you’ll ask him out at the end of this nightmare.” And Dylan will be like “lol if we survive” she’ll be like *dead pan stare* “all the more reason to survive right?” And Dylan’s like. Fuck she’s right- and Is lowkey inspired to go ask him out rn- but there is a time and a place and when better to drop a bombshell like a crush then at the end of a traumatic experience such as this- the movies always do it… so he promises- yay. (Can actually choose wether or not to confess to Ryan at the end) They continue looking for the car piece and can actually acquire it if they survive all QuickTime events and Dylan’s not bit. (Cause them not getting anything is stupid af.)

MEANWHILE MEANWHILE Ryan and Laura. Same as usual- except he will actually say something about Dylan and not his stupid ass dismissive response. No flirting bw the two of them, that was also stupid af. Ryan could quickly confess how he’s not been the best with emotions/ has never been in a relationship so he has no idea what to feel/do with Dylan. Laura can give him some advice and tell him how she feels when she’s around Max (He makes me laugh, we support each other through tough times, I tell him my fears and he understands and makes me feel safe/valid, etc.) Little oh moment for Ryan there. They show up in the room and the Hackets are merely mildly arguing about Chris and the kids running around. Travis notices Ryan and Lauren and is like tf????? Why? How tf did you get here? Ryan’s like- we fell through a hole 😔. Anyways Ryan asks for clarification- lowkey breaking down about the situation. The Hacketts are like fuckkkkk- yeah sorry man and comfort him.

EXPLANATION TIME. Travis would turn to Laura and be like- I didn’t tell you everything bc I didn’t fully trust you wouldn’t just kill my brother and she’s like “😬 yeah… I understand man” Anyways. So backstory’s mainly the same. Daughter and son free Silas-etc. THE HAG HAUNTS THEM. She wants them DEAD. Eventually learned of how to end it all - gotta kill Salis. Hunt begins with everyone gathering on full moon to try and find them. Chris and kids were kept at jail with silver painted walls at first to contain them. However couldn’t be a permanent since they were slowly building a tolerance to the silver paint and could break out. Planning to use the island, but needed to prepare it to make it totally isolated. Months ago- Travis suddenly suggested they store the others in the electric cages- in case the bars fail them now. (really he kidnapped Max and Lauren and we’re keeping them in the cells so he needed an excuse to place Chris and co. elsewhere) Says more people can keep an eye on them- they can tranq em or whatever if they get too rowdy- etc. they agree- it works and the werewolves seem to almost recognize the Hacketts- inspiring them to hold them in the cages again the next full moon (aka today). However- power outage happened and they escaped while everyone else was preparing/hunting. Mother and Father can’t leave the house (cause they old and be in the most in danger) called back Travis to protect them- sent the brothers after the kids. Again- there��s not a single though behind those eyes and they though that just kidnapping them/ covering them in blood without telling them what’s actually happening will protect them from idk the government? Preventing the information that werewolf’s exists from escaping and their involvement? They were arguing about fully telling the councilors or not since Travis already told Laura stuff and where Chris could be cause he’s not there.

Ok so NOW- Laura becomes like- progressively upset? Like tell me why tf would you endanger kids like that- why would you endanger US LIKE THAT? and like she be pointing the gun and shit- and maybe the Hag can be seen in like the corner just- lurking. And as Ryan you can intervene or not. If does he takes the gun from her and no one dies. The lights flicker (implied the hag is mad they didn’t kill a Hackett ). They then hear werewolves enter/attack the house. Travis mentions there are powerful tranqs/tranq guns in this storage esc room- tells them to get em and don’t kill any wolf that isn’t white cause that’ll be someone they know. Tranqs won’t last long so Travis will try to get the parents out of the house, suggests they do the same after they get the tranqs. They all split up. Depending on how many people turned will determine how many wolves are in the house. In this Route- it’s only Silas, the daughter and the son.

Cue quick time events, getting to the room, getting the gun, the daughter chasing them halfway through. Laura will get attacked, Ryan will pick up her shotgun and aim it- do the aim thing, make it like super quick- supposed to not do anything and he’ll be like- oh shit wrong gun and get out the tranq, and quick time events to shoot? After Ryan and Laura get the gun they go can head back in to save the others or leave.

Leaving will kill the Hacketts/ led to Ryan heading back to the cabin to wait it out with everyone else while Laura goes off to kill Chris (she figures he’s the second wolf on the island- will quickly add this route leads to the of shooting one of the two werewolves, Wolf!Max or Wolf!Chris Al la DBH style, being able to tell who to shoot via wolf’s body language/ one of the wolves recognizing her and seemingly holding back).

Travis and the brothers will be mildly injured, point the kids to other room where last saw parents, son is about to attack the mom, quick aim thing where have to shoot tranq before dad kills the son. SALIS STALKS OUT THE SHADOWS. He’s 1 v 7 so he tries to make a break for it, Laura shoots and hits his leg before it leaps out the window. Boom all Hackets saved, Hag is PISSED next time you see her.

Decide it’s best to stick together bc horror movies always get that wrong. Travis tells kids he’ll escort them back to cabin where they will hunker down till morning- it’s too dangerous to go hunting for Salis now with this many loose wolfs. Laura’s like fuck that I’m not abandoning my boyfriend- we’re killing this mf tonight or I go after Chris myself. (Present same island logic as other route). Mans is like ok- well- if we’re gonna do this we’ll need to involve everyone then- more manpower the better. So go off to cabin to plan, driving everyone in Travis’ car to get there fast.

Back at cabin they realize the connection bw Hag and Salis and how she prolly wants revenge. Cue someone being like, “yeah I was like unnaturally murderous towards Chris all night, for some reason.” And everyone’s like “you too?” Travis and co. arrive. Dylan will hug Ryan in relief- cue Kaitlyn and Laura winking it up. Talking bla bla, planning bla bla. Cabin group says their Hag/ Silas theory- Travis tells them about the daughter and sons involvement in the fire, Abi puts together maybe she wants revenge, Ryan chimes in saying they literally got attacked by all the wolves like 5 minutes ago. Decide to use Hacketts in open area as bait in to lure Salis out. Everyone else will try to tranquilize the other wolfs like last time/ lure them away in time to get Sailis alone and kill him. If got the car piece the car will be available to assist.

Boom- huge fighting/ hiding sequence. Takes place in a huge clearing surrounded by woods. Starts with Travis and parents calling out and mocking the Hag and Salis. (If councilors turned they appear here in wolf form along with Silas). Silas, the daughter and the son appear. Normal wolves appear as like allies/ backup💀. Pairs attracts attention and gets chased by regular wolfs while Laura and Kaitlyn try to kill Silas/ deal with the family. (cause they’re the best shots)

Three tranq guns- one for each other pair. The pairs being Emma/Dylan, Abi/Jacob, Ryan/Nick. ??? Idk we need the others interacting with each other.

(Emma Dylan have a sassy duo vibe. Abi exasperated by Jacobs simpleness but still appreciate his confidence and presence. Ryan and Nick are unusual besties. Know about others respective crushes and talk about them. Dylan’s romance point changes Ryan’s dialogue (“Yeah he’s so *dies in vague flailing hand gestures* ”- or “idk after tonight idt I can handle dating someone rn”))

BOOM shit goes down, the wolves appear. Starting from one duo- after running and fighting, go to next duo and switch to their pov. Lots of QTE. Have everyone interacting together as a group/ with others. Idk at least helping each other off ground/ protecting them in battle as group grows.

Meanwhile- Kaitlyn and Laura fighting for their lives against son, daughter and Silas. Travis police car will be used here to help protect the Hacketts from danger, while fixed van is used to drive out of range from attacks/ provides extra protection. Epic battle, saving Travis and parents from attacks. Brothers and parents in charge of tranqing the son and daughter. Travis body slams Silas with the fixed car, Laura shoots to immobilize him and Kaitlyn makes the final shot. Boom everyone’s saved.

Ends with everyone making it to the clearing as Kaitlyn makes final shot, Hag screams etc. Group hug with councilors, all crying with relief night is over

Actual Ending scene yay. Begins with Laura and Travis finding Max and Travis in the island. Emotional reunion with Laura and Max, her fretting over his appearance and health, Vice versa while Travis and Chris do that sibling nod. Though once Travis mentions it’s over- like truly, fully over, they hug too. Honestly, include something acknowledging the shit Travis has done/ gone through to cover his family’s asses. After they part sees Laura staring him down. Chris will then recognize Lauren and Max and start profusely apologizing, saying how he truly never meant for any of this to happen and how sorry he is for knowingly putting a lot of people in danger. Laura says she can’t speak for everyone but she won’t/can’t forgive or forget but she understands his desperation to fix things to make his loved ones back to normal. They all head back to the cabin .

Everyone else/ survivors waiting on cabin porch as sun comes up.

Dylan and Ryan pair off (Kaitlyn and Nick giving thumbs up then looking at each other like YOU??! Knew too????) Cue confession scene from Dylan- could ask for number properly (haha rule of threes). Ryan will then confess his character thing about not properly knowing what he’s feeling towards Dylan, has never really been in a relationship before, isn’t the best at showing or processing his emotions etc etc. but likes the idea of being in one with Dylan (aw- cut to Dylan being flustered as fuck as he really didn’t expect this lmao). Interaction end with Ryan offering to share his earbuds with Dylan. (“So… I’m surprised you’ve managed to keep your earbuds all night. Been listening to that podcast all night?” “Ha ha. Actually, I kinda forgot these were here. … … want to listen to the Hag episode with me and laugh at what they got wrong?” “Fuck yeah”)

Something bw Nick and Abi? Show with banter that shows a more self confident Abi and Nick. Could either stay friends or pursue the romantic relationship (honestly I can see either being good). Emma and Jacob discuss how they won’t get back together for now but will rebuild their relationship without that block of trying to impress others.

Laura and Max joins the others as Chris is seen talking with his kids and family a ways away. End with all councilors bantering with each other similar to beginning, except dynamics have changed. (Laura introduces Max properly- him and Dylan immediately hit it off- cut to Laura and Ryan rolling their eyes at their shitty puns. Kaitlyn complementing Laura’s gun skills and asking where she’s learned. Jacob congratulating Ryan, was rooting for them the whole time. Nick discussing science shit with Dylan??? Idk really- can make it feel cheesy lol, just make them interact outside of usual pairs) Eventually they all sit down- the exhaustion hitting as the sun starts peaking over the horizon. Someone ( Abi?) goes like “were all going to be traumatized for life from this night… aren’t we.” “Oh for sure” “Cant wait for the nightmares” “at least we have humor to unhealthy cope” as cop cars roll in.

Podcast bit went on too long- was good concept but way too long. Shorten that a lot + better visuals then just a screen. Maybe show the campers all listening to it in various places? Can show a bit about how/where they are outside of camp.

Even more chaos because my save just gets more abd more chaotic each passing day

Okay, so last blog there may have been a little bit of chaos (A little is an understatement, it was a lot)

To sum this save up so far, I started with six sims, Dumbass, Hot Werewolf Dilf (aka Zaidan), Hot Werewolf Dilf's son (Julien), Vito, Stupid-Ass Vampire Ron and Stupid fucking soellcaster Ezekiel.

Everything was normal (Highlighted word was)

Until, in no particular order...

Vito died from laughter, got revived by Julien (grimmy didn't want no taste of the military personal's fist), before proceeding to die from laughter again a couple of sim eons later.

Stupid-Ass vampire Ron, who drank from Dumbass. Became pissed, then became possessed because Dumbass's plasma is infected by The Mother Plant, who swiftly died a couple of days later after running around the sunny streets possessed.

Ezekiel, who just decided "Fuck this shit, I'm out" and proceeded to fly away from home on a broom and starve to death yeah I honestly don't fucking know either

Hot Werewolf Dilf got abducted by aliens and then impregnated with his second son, Lucas, who then proceeded to die to a fucking meteor a couple days after reaching teenagehood.

And I left you guys at the end of last blog that both Julien and Zaidan got abducted at the same time which I didn't even know could happen and then both came back pregnant...

So I panicked because I sure as fuck wasn't ready for 2 more children, and here we stand.

A seven sim household, which consisted of Lucas' ghost, Zaidan and his new daughter (Haylee), Julien and his new son (Jase), Dumbass and Vito's ghost

Of course if your interested in what the fucks going in in my sims save rn, read more, if not your free to go 🤧

I decided to raise both children, although Julien was just about as prepared as I was (not a lot), so Zaidan had to do most of the parenting of Jase (although I suck at raising more than one child at once, so he ended up being an unhappy infant(oops)) Meanwhile I had aged haylee up into a child because there's nothing worse than two infants/toddlers from personal experience (flashbacks to my generation challenge attempt)

During this time, I finally had leveled Zaidan up to Level 10 Gourmet Cooking, which means I was one step away from a plate of Ambrosia, an Angelfush. Now due to, well, Zaidan's lore... (don't ask these are characters I shoved in my sims game for fun listen don't judge (or do)) I got Dumbass, his Husband, to fish for him instead. Doesn't change a lot, but considering one of his old traits back in Sims 3 was Unlucky, perhaps he wasn't the greatest pick.

Then again, I suppose it depends on what's considered "Unlucky", this is the same guy who (in Sims 3) ended up with seven children strictly by alien pregnancy....

Nothing much happened for the days that I was catching Angelfish, just classic ol' Julien pissing on my living room carpet, breaking up fights between Lucas and Julien, making "why is the FUCKING TOILET BROKEN AGAIN" my most spoken sentence, "JULIEN STOP PISSING ON MY KITCHEN FLOOR" my second most spoken sentence, a lot of fixing the toilet, leaving, coming back to see it broken again, shit now dumbass is a werewolf and is running around the neighbourhood ferally, shit now dumbass is a werewolf and possessed and is standing in the middle of the park with a unsettling grin.

Suprisingly, it didn't take long for dumbass to catch an Angelfish (atleast as long as i had thought, i thought i'd be there for real life days) and in no time I finally had a plate of ambrosia. I chose to revive Lucas, because knowing Vito, he'd die from laughter again in a day.

Now I will say now, he's still alive, but definitely had some fucking close calls with death and this man, fucking hell…

After the whole Ambrosia thing (or during it I forgor) Dumbass got offered a job as an Astronaut, nothing new considering he's now a five star celebrity, but I figured why not, maybe the times will be better for him as an Astronaut than a E-Sport Gamer (spoiler alert, they are not)

but look at dumbass in his lil suit hes so

Dumbass quickly climbed ranks, and soon I had an Intersteller Smuggler making fucking 7 thousand simoleons, now this is a fucking ton.

To put into perspective, the most money we was making was Zaidan with 3 thousand (Used to be 6 thousand daily though because of books) and his son making 1.5 thousand

It's still a fucking lot he's making though, and a fuck load more than what I was thinking he'd make from it.

Anyway, I've now aged Haylee up to a teenager, and yet to age Jase up into a child, because everything has been chaos from here on out.

We've had even more abductions, THANKFULLY none resulting in pregnancys yet. But in order it's been Zaidan, Zaidan, Julien, Zaidan again, Dumbass (Which I was suprised about because they usually never take dumbass in this game anymore), and then Zaidan again.

But we also (almost) had another death. Apparently meteors really dont like Zaidan's children, because for the second time, A meteor fucking obliterates fucking Haylee who for some reason was stood there, talking to Zaidan…

talking with an older roommate about the silly stuff I post here.

"Well that's rather morbid. Maybe that's why nobody reblogs your stuff. Have you considered that?"

Lady, I can assure you that worse stuff gets popular on this website and the examples I gave are from a popular tv comedy writer that did similar works because I don't want you judging me based off of not understanding the web culture of shit posting.

This is nowhere close to as bad as Amelia Earhart getting eaten by coconut crabs, the tape worm post, or the werewolf boyfriend posts. Honestly if I wanted to be popular I could go harder into my craft but that's not what I am here for at this time.

While well intentioned the advise is somewhat misplaced and would be better suited for somebody running a blog based around shrimp husbandry.

Who is your all-time favorite book character?

Throwing me straight to the wolves with this one… AND SPEAKING OF WOLVES~ Remus Lupin from the Harry Potter series. I mean, how could he not be is the real question here. A part of the Marauders, Remus helped to create The Marauder’s Map, he was the intellectual best friend to a bunch of hooligans (and I mean that in the most loving of ways… except for one person in particular, you know who I’m talking about), not to mention the man was a werewolf! Seriously a top tier character and if you don’t agree that he is, at the very least, the best character in the Harry Potter series, read them again.

If you were stranded on a desert island, which book would you take with you? (Survival books do not count)

Obviously, I’m going to have to go with Harry Potter and the Sorcerer’s Stone. Considering I haven’t gone a single year without reading at least the first three Harry Potter books in over a decade, it would seem unthinkable to not have it with me at all times anyway.

What’s your most unpopular book opinion?

When a book gets their cover changed to match the movie poster. Seriously, I hate it. I know ‘hate’ is a strong word but it honestly looks horrendous in my opinion. There’s a reason they are usually no more than 5 or so bucks and I still wouldn’t pay it simply because of the cover alone.

What’s your weirdest bookish habit?

I crack the spines on my paperbacks… Listen, I start out strong, I’m barely opening the pages, trying to preserve the neatness that is my paperbacks… but when I go to close the book and it does that curl thing with the cover, all bets are off. I don’t know why it sets me off like it does but to me, it’s worse when the cover curls than just to break the spines so now, while I’m reading anyways, the book opens all the way, the cover doesn’t stick up nearly as bad, and I can enjoy the book folding it in half.

What character would you bring to a family event as your fake partner?

A fake partner to bring around my family… this one is truthfully very hard to answer considering my parents live states away but if I had to choose… without hesitation Ilmari from Pucking Around by Emily Rath. Seriously the only thing that could make that man better is if he played football for LSU but otherwise he’s a sportsmen (which will give him something to talk about with just about everyone), he speaks when spoken to (mostly), and he can keep the southern goodbyes to a minimum. He’s *chef’s kiss* perfection… though getting him to actually agree to the whole “fake partner” thing might prove to be its own challenge, one I’d be willing to accept.

I would like to mention that Pucking Around by Emily Rath is a spicy romance so no one under the age of 18 should be reading this.

What made you decide to start a book blog?

I’m going to blame my ADHD on this one. Searching through all kinds of hobbies, blogging seems to be what appealed to my hyperfixation the most. Who knows, maybe this hyperfixation with be the thing that sticks, maybe I found my niche, one never knows until they try! I’m here to have fun, meet many passionate readers as I’m from a small town where no one or their mama’s read, and could really use the interaction. All in all, I’m here to have fun and hope that you all are here to do the same.

What about reading and books do you love the most?

For me personally, books, reading, and writing are the ultimate forms of art. It’s such a tangible way to not only experience a world that the author had built but to understand different ways of life whether it be reality or fiction. You can understand a range of emotions from happiness, sadness, anger, acceptance, name it you can find it within the pages. You can either feel a connection on an emotional level or simply push outside the realm of reality and escape into someone else’s world leaving yours behind for a little while. Whatever it is you need, books, reading, or writing, they can give you that.

What is your field of study/desired profession/current profession?

As for my current profession I am a supervisor of a local clothing store. You can even find me streaming on Twitch from time to time, my favorite games at the moment are Hogwarts Legacy and Final Fantasy XIV Online, I will post my Twitch link down below for you all. But for my desired profession, I want to be the owner of my own bookstore. I want there to be plenty of books to choose from, seating for anyone just needing a place to escape for a little while, and enough space so that my husband can run a game store alongside me.

What are some book recommendations that became your favorites/obsessions?

Firstly, Arc of the Scythe series by Neal Shusterman, seriously I cannot talk enough about this series, if you haven’t taken the time I highly recommend you do so.

Second, The Fallen Men series by Giana Darling. Another spicy romance series so anyone under the age of 18, do not touch. Still an ongoing series it was one I couldn’t put down and I very much plan to pick back up once the next book comes out.

And thirdly, I mean how can I not add it? The Harry Potter series by JK Rowling. You love castles? Mythical creatures? Magic? Pick up the Harry Potter books.

What is the book you shove down everyone’s throat?

Easily the book I shove down people’s throat the most… Harry Potter and the Sorcerer’s Stone by JK Rowling. When you literally have two Harry Potter related tattoos, it’s easily the most talked about book at your disposal… I’m not ashamed of it.

I just watched Underworld again, and now in a werewolf/vampire phase again 😂

Do you know if there's any good supercorp fics out there that have a similar basis?

I honestly have no idea if there is an underworld au or at least something with werewolves and vampires fighting each other. It's a pretty popular franchise though so the best bet would be to search an au tag in the supercorp fics I think? Or maybe some of the blogs on here that rec fics have a better idea how to help you

You had been missing for the last two weeks having been taken by Aurora out of jealously she held for you since you were seeing Klaus. The Mikaelsons were waging war against Aurora to get you back which Tristan was angry with his sister as half of the Strix was dead in Elijah's rage coupled with Klaus and Kol slaughtering others. Lucien had heard what happened and wisely stayed out of it not wanting to be caught in the crossfire.

You panted laying on the floor of the room Aurora kept you and you could have run if you weren't weak from not feeding and the vervain in your system. You were so tired and in pain and already have gave up on the hope of your lovers would save you.

"You know I am surprised you are still with them. After all you are just a toy I mean Kol has that witch Davina, Rebekah with Marcel then Elijah with that werewolf girl, Hayley."

This had been Aurora's new way of tormenting you by telling you the Mikaelsons didn't care for you. You let out a silent scream as your vocal cords was shot when Aurora stabbed you with a dagger dipped in vervain.

"Poor little old Y/N. Why would they choose a weak baby vampire of three years." Aurora mocked as you layed there feeling weak and ready to die as you couldn't take the pain. To you the older vampire had won having been in a cycle of pain of two weeks.

"Aurora, your brother wants to speak with you." You heard Aya tell Aurora and she dropped your head. Listening to them leave as you curled into yourself hurting and giving up.

"Where is she?" You swore you heard Klaus's voice as the sounds bodies dropping and screams rang out as the questioning thought was it really then enter your mind as you passed out. Elijah growled lowly when he found you gently and carefully picked you up.

"You found her." Kol said eyes narrowing seeing the state you were in as Rebekah rushed over.

"She'll need blood, let's get her out of here then deal with Aurora." Elijah said calmly as he was angry and Klaus joined them frowning seeing how hurt you where. They got you home and Elijah washed you frowning seeing the wounds you had and dressed you.

"Let me give her blood." Rebekah said biting her wrist as Elijah tilted your head back as Rebekah gave you her blood.

"I don't understand how Hayley could allow Y/N to be taken." Kol growled looking at you as you were slowly healing even while Kol and Rebekah was taking turns to feed you their blood.

"From what she told Marcel was that they took Jackson too. She didn't think Jackson would survive."

"No Y/N wouldn't. She has only been a vampire for three years." Rebekah tells Elijah as Kol was feeding you more of his blood. It took a day for you to wake up and your scream woke your lovers and Elijah wrapped his arms around you.

"Shhhh sweetling, you're safe, your home." Elijah whispered in your ear holding you tightly as you calmed down panting flinching away when Elijah kissed your temple. Elijah frowned when you pushed yourself away from him.

"Don't Kol, she is panicked." Elijah said softly stopping Kol from run to you as he got off your bed. Your breathing was shallow as memories were piecing themselves together while you climbed back in bed.

"How is she?" Rebekah asked when she walked up hearing your screaming Kol was frowning.

"Panicked. What do we do 'Lijah?"

"Let her process what happened and that she is safe." Elijah says softly watching you curl up into a ball. Klaus growled lowly pacing as three days passed you were doing better but didn't allow your lovers to touch you that wasn't platonic then there were moments you would flinch seeing blood or any knifes and daggers.

"I'm going to kill Aurora."

"No Nik. She is my first Sired, let me." Rebekah growled as Elijah sat thinking, you weren't feeding making them slip blood in your drinks. You weren't sleeping well waking up from nightmares and refusing them to comfort you.

"Aurora will die but we need to focus on our little vamp." Kol said worried about you watching you with Camille. You were smiling but it didn't reached your eyes.

"Nightmares I understand but pushing us away?"

"Maybe let her go?" They turned their heads seeing Hayley standing there arms crossed.

"Hayley." Klaus growled a warning as she rolled her eyes looking at Elijah.

"Look clearly she is a lost cause so stick her somewhere were she isn't a bother. The first Sired needs to be taken care of and you guys are too busy taking care of Y/N."

"No we won't abandon her!"

"Rebekah is right Hayley. She needs us also Tristan is in hiding with Aurora worried we are knocking on his door."

"Which we are." Klaus said as you walked back in with Camille rushing back up to your bedroom not looking at the Mikaelsons.

"How is she, Camille?"

"Honestly? A reck, Aurora did a number on her. Just don't give up on her, Aurora told her some nasty things."

"Thank you Camille." Elijah said as the human nodded then sent Rebekah up to you first.

"You guys know she won't be the same right?"

"Of course but she'll be stronger like a Phoenix." Klaus said smirking. Later that night you had another nightmare and Rebekah stood at door.

"Sweetheart?"

"Beka." You rasped out holding your arms out to her as Rebekah was quick to pull you against her as for the first time since you been back you let out a heart retching sob.

"Shhhhh I' m here I am not going anywhere, beautiful." Rebekah cooed softly as you nodded still crying when Kol came in unable to take your cries. To their surprise you let Kol hold you as you rolled over clinging to him.

Then scent of nutmeg and lavender with warm vanilla filled your senses you know the scents belonged to Kol and Rebekah. It brought comfort as you finally felt safe as you buried yourself in their arms.

"Rebekah? Kol?" Freya whispered finding them in your room she got teary eyed seeing you nuzzled up to Rebekah as Kol had his face pressed against your back.

"Freya? Something wrong?"

"Look Elijah." Freya whispered as he looked into your bedroom his eyes softened as his heart swelled with joy seeing you seeking comfort finally.

They found Aurora and while Elijah took care of Tristan. Aurora was left in the mercy of Klaus, Rebekah and Kol which the three showed Aurora just why most didn't dare get near you.

"Did you kill her?" Elijah asked seeing his all too pleased siblings.

"Oh no. We sealed her away in a wall making her believe there will be a point in time that we will kill her.

"I see. Just how did you do this ?"

"Compelled her. Rebekah made her believe that I was coming to save her. Klaus said smirking as Elijah smiled.

"Ah. Better than me dumping Tristan in the ocean." Elijah says smirking as they now shift their attention on you and taking out Lucien.

You stood outside of Klaus's bedroom and stepped inside while Rebekah Kol was great but you missed your wolf.

"Nik?"

"Oh. Love come here." Klaus said half asleep as you rushed into his arms. You drowned yourself in his scent of old paint with the under tone was warm spice.

"Nik."

"Shhhh love don't cry. You're still weak, you'll get sick." Klaus said softly as you hummed a quiet okay. You sighed nuzzling into his neck while he rubbed your back and for the first night since you gotten back you got to sleep without nightmares.

You were doing better more and more each day finally feeding and allowing your lovers touch and cuddle you as you weren't ready for intimacy. But you still stayed away from Elijah until the others left for a night to find out what Lucien was up to.

Your scream rang out waking Hayley and Elijah. The scent of pine, bourbon and spices as one thought rang through your head....Elijah.

"Shhh baby. I'm here you're safe." Elijah whispered in your ear waiting for you to push him away but was surprised when you rolled over latching on to him.

"Eli. I was doing so well. You must think I'm weak." You said weakly as he just held you closer kissing your head rubbing your back.

"No no baby. I don't think you're weak. You have been so strong." Elijah whispered squeezing you gently.

"But I trying to be stronger for you.... like Hayley." You tell him as it clicked for Elijah why you hadn't came to him like you did the others.

"Baby, I don't want you like Hayley. Strong or not I love you and wish you would need me too."

"I always need you. I love you too." You whispered relaxing in him hold as he lulled you back to sleep. Later that night the others joined you two surrounding you with warmth and love as you finally felt safe and at home.

Werewolves: Not Zombies, Not Dogs

I��m gonna get flamed into the next century for this one, I know. Not really looking forward to it. Anyway, here we go:

I was sent a message while I was on vacation asking me about what I mean by werewolves as zombies and werewolves as dogs and why I cannot stand either option. This person did not want to be identified, so I won’t refer to them - and I disabled anon asks on my blog due to getting too many hate messages over the years. Anyway, I never got around to answering the message (not been doing well at all lately; sorry about that), but I feel like maybe it’s something I should answer in a post, so here we go.

Here is a quick and dirty guide to how to tell if your werewolf might just be a zombie or might just be a dog.

Please note these are not complete lists. These are things that irk me on a deep and profound level, so I could go on about them for quite some time. But this is the short version.

Your Werewolf is a Zombie

Your werewolf is probably just a hairy zombie if...

They are only remotely powerful/intimidating in groups of 3-10+ and/or massive hordes of 10-80+, and they generally move in groups of these sizes

A single werewolf is not even a threat at all

The ONLY thing that makes them scary is they might infect you

They are extremely easily dispatched

They turn into a werewolf and never turn human again, and/or the transformation process “could kill them”

They are an “infestation” or a “plague”

There are literally entire villages and cities of nothing but werewolves (and all they want to do is kill people)

They are crazed, extremely stupid, and have not even the remotest vestige of human intelligence at all, they just want to essentially eat brains like a zombie

They were created by a virus/fungus/some other form of infection, and that is their centerpiece

They are ugly, mangy things that don’t even remotely resemble wolves. They have no actual wolfish features at all and are largely just mangy/hairy people with gross teeth, or else some kind of big mangy monster with large teeth and generic, gross semi-animal features

They have no fur or even hair at all and are just slick muscle zombies

They are all mindless and pure evil/insane and/or becoming one makes you evil and insane

Being turned into a werewolf is a death sentence

Characters are relieved to know it’s “just a werewolf” instead of something actually bad

They look and behave more like zombies than werewolves in general

They are essentially the first random effortless lowbie encounter/group fight in a video game (or a video game trailer...), often literally

Your Werewolf is Just a Dog

Your werewolf is just a walking dog joke and should just be a “weredog” instead (it’d honestly be infinitely better) if...

They bark

They exhibit domesticated behavior (fetching things, easily distracted by things, etc.)

They are a walking dog joke (bark at mailmen, pee on hydrants, shedding jokes, humping jokes, and whatnot) and other people also make dog jokes about them

They lack intelligence and revert to simplistic animal behavior, especially silly/harmless animalistic behavior, at the drop of a hat and they might be embarrassed by it in comically endearing fashion (howling at sirens, chasing things, etc., also see above)

Being a werewolf is just some kind of embarrassment (”I shed and bark at things and scratch and lick my balls :(”) instead of something scary, powerful, and/or potentially a real problem or hardship

They are just a “good boi” and want “head pats” etc.

They’re basically just big friendly dog-people

They resemble a dog instead of a wolf (they have dog fur patterns [spots, merle, brindle...], dog ears [floppy or cut], jowls, pink nose/pink spots on nose, etc.) [this is such a big problem lately and it drives me insane]

They are largely comedy and played as such

They aren’t even scary at all, nor are they remotely vicious, and if they tried to be everyone would see it as a joke and have to be forced to take it seriously under extreme duress (and then the viewers/readers still wouldn’t be able to because the werewolf is still just a dog joke)

They are, in fact, so ultimately harmless that other characters refer to them as the walking dog jokes that they are (Fido, Fluffy, etc., tell them to fetch things, the whole nine yards)

They are literally just someone’s dog on a chain and wear a collar and refer to themselves as someone’s dog

They may not even be a character at all but are literally just a humanoid dog who never turns human, and/or the human also behaves exactly like the dog-werewolf

If any of these things and especially multiple apply to the werewolf, please just let them be called a weredog instead. I could tolerate that. I’d vastly prefer it. More weredogs. Weredogs for everyone. Let’s do it. I’m not kidding! I’m fine with weredogs! I just don’t want werewolves to be weredogs. Let’s keep them different, please. Wolves are not domestic dogs! They are very different, especially in that wolves are not and cannot be domesticated! There are tons of scientific articles and studies, and more releasing every day, that serve to highlight this!

...

And if your werewolf/werewolves meet these criteria, that is fine for you, but I’m really sorry, but they are not for me and I would much prefer to not even know they exist. No hard feelings.

I like werewolves to be werewolves. To me:

Your Werewolf is a Werewolf

Your werewolf is probably a werewolf of some form if...

They are powerful and terrifying as individuals and only that much moreso in groups. Taking down one werewolf is literally the final bossfight and will take all of one’s willpower, intelligence, and abilities; taking down several at once is basically impossible

What I’m saying is I like them to be among the very scariest of monsters in a setting

They may be able to curse/infect others, but that is not the centerpiece of their entire being

Being part of a group/pack and identifying solely as “a werewolf” is also not their entire being (they’re still people, and people have histories and cultures and identities, too! They’re not some alien hive-mind or something!)

They are still human individuals; being a werewolf is not the entirety of their character or their most important aspect (related to that previous one but also in general)

They retain intelligence (but perhaps not necessarily the ability to speak) in werewolf form; they will not bash their brains against walls in a fit of rage or go after the mailman or howl at sirens

They have poise and pride instead of licking their balls or “scritching” or whatever

They can be vicious, they can be noble, but they are always predatory and scary

They are taken seriously

They do not bark or otherwise exhibit domesticated behavior of any kind

They do not have any obviously non-wolf features (spots, stripes, slit pupils [WHY are slit pupils such a thing now!?], merle, jowls, floppy ears, curly fur, pink nose or paw pads [if they have paw pads], etc.). Weird eye colors are fine and great. A few stranger fur patterns might be fun and interesting (like maybe just a few stripes or something), but anything that makes them too obviously look like just a dog or even a cat really throws me off. My favorite werewolves will always look like wolves above anything else, no matter how odd or stylized or supernatural of wolves they might be. Wolves have their own distinguishing, incredible features and werewolves should have those too; save the rest for other shapeshifters and creatures.

If they have animalistic behavior, it’s predatory and wolfish, not domesticated

Being a werewolf is not a convenient button one can push*

They don’t just walk around, talk, and interact like humans while they are werewolves; they are more animal than human, while retaining their intelligence (they are more likely to go hunt and kill in terrifyingly intelligent ways than play a game of poker, even if they might be capable of the latter)

They turn into a werewolf and turn human again; they are not always one or the other

They actually resemble a wolf in at least some fashion (they are not just a bland horror creature with big teeth and mangy hair)

*: Some werewolves in stories are less cursed than others. That’s fine. I do like my cursed werewolves; to me, that’s part of what makes a werewolf a werewolf instead of just a shapeshifter, but I know that not all werewolves in legend were that way (obviously). That’s a personal preference storytelling thing.

Again, as I am fully aware, this is just my opinion. But I was asked, so there it is. I don’t want to hurt anyone’s feelings, but hopefully this clarifies what I’m talking about.

I love Resident Evil: Village/Resident Evil 8 because the hairy zombies are referred to as “lycans” like twice and are just hairy zombies that never resemble wolves or behave as wolves and I can just completely ignore that they’re supposed to be werewolves and overlook that. I love that game. But if there’s this emphasis on big wolfish werewolves being zombies, it honestly makes it worse for me. For instance, I cannot even look at ESO anymore (and that makes me really sad).

And as for the dog jokes... I’ve only ever enjoyed the original Teen Wolf movie insofar as that goes, and some of the things in there still make me groan. But I did enjoy the movie and story enough that I still like it a lot. But will you ever see me watching that Goosebumps movie again? No. I’d sooner hang myself up on meathooks.

I just... would very much love to see werewolves be their own thing instead of zombies or dogs, and if they are just zombies or dogs in a thing, chances are incredibly high that, no, I won’t like it, and I may even have extreme dislike for it.

So let’s let werewolves be werewolves.

P.S.: Another pet peeve is referring to werewolves as just “wolves.” Why? They’re not wolves, they’re werewolves. That’s like calling them “weres.” Don’t dilute them to being one or the other - what makes them so great and so interesting is that they are both and neither at the same time!

A/n: Alright, alright, I know I said this blog was going to be centralized on Narnia stuff, but lately I've really gotten back in my Twilight phase🥴 Plus, I had a really shitty week and needed a pick me up. Jacob is one of my biggest comfort characters so I felt it was only suiting. I hope you'll enjoy it😬 I suggest reading this while listening to any kind of Twilight ambiance playlist.☺Also, I know my title sucks HAHA. Couldn't think of anything better so yea, I'm sorry, but this is what you get

There were days that just deeply and inherently... sucked. Days where everything seemed out of rhythm, where no matter how hard you tried, it all seemed wrong; it all fell apart.

Today was one of those days. When your dad jokingly said: "Someone woke up on the wrong side of the bed." you did not think it the tiniest of bit funny. When you opened one of the kitchen cabinets to get your favorite brand of cereals and found an empty box, you almost threw a full-on seven-year-old crying on the floor tantrum. Especially when you saw the half-emptied bowl sitting in the sink. Too bad, no breakfast for you this morning. Ridiculous, immature, and not changing anything? Yes, of course, but you still did it out of pure spite. As if that would punish anyone else than you.

Like any other day in Forks, it was raining, nothing awful here, if it was not for the fact that the window on the driver’s side hadn’t been properly closed. Your seat was by now totally drenched. With your pants completely soaked you rode to school, your knuckles turning white from angrily gripping the wheel. Once you arrived, it seemed that everyone was annoyingly happy and enthusiastic while you just couldn’t get out of your personal, unchangeable, black cloud. Not to help, your friends only kept making fun of your moody behavior. Could you not be taken seriously on one of your worst days?

In your least favorite class, you were horrified to see written in big letters on the board:

“20% exam!! Leave your personal effects in front of the class.”

You would have run away if it wasn’t for the flow of students coming in to push you further in the classroom. Convinced the exam was for the next week, you did not even open the pages of your manual concerning the subject. It is with panic and exasperation that you sat at your desk waiting for your doom. Did you need to add that along with all that bull crap of a day, the only person who could have made your day a little less annoying was, once again missing. No calls, no texts, no news, nothing. Probably on another mission with the rest of his mutant gang. You got to the Rez after school, hoping you would see him, but were only welcomed by Leah and Seth. It almost felt like they were waiting for you as they were sitting outside of Billy’s house. Why they were the only ones left here was a mystery for you. The pack usually always stayed together.

- “Where are the others?”

- “On some kind of mission around the lands.”

- “Is everything alright?” They nodded nonchalantly. “Then why are you two here?”

The answer Seth gave you while chewing loudly on yet, another snack, made you grith your teeth so hard he thought they were going to fall out of your mouth.

- “To protect you.”

- “I thought it was nothing, so why would I need protection?”.

- “You should talk about it with Black. He’s the one who ordered us to stay to watch over you or something.”

- “I am PERFECTLY capable of WATCHING OVER MYSELF.” you answered a little louder than expected, anger rumbling in your chest. That earned you some awkward looks from your two friends, but at this point, it didn’t even matter, you were seeing red.

Leah, never intimated by you, shrugged her shoulders. Seth looking a little bit more nervous still laughed at your display of anger. Jacob was the one assigning babysitters over you? Of course, you and he would have a little discussion, that mutt would not see it coming.

When you got back home, you called your father to warn him; there was no way you would be cooking dinner. With your luck, it wouldn’t be a surprise if you burnt the whole house down. Fortunately, he was in good mood (unfair) and answered there was no problem; he would get pizza. He got home with the box in hand and a “Hey sweet...heart”. One quick look at your rough appearance and frustrated expression and his mouth closed shut. He dropped politely, almost carefully, a plate with a slice of pizza before quickly leaving for the couch. You mostly played with the food, incapable of swallowing it down, looking at the forest many times, waiting, expecting to see a tall figure appear on its verge but nothing. Time passed, still no sign of life. There was no way that by now Leah or Seth didn’t give him your message. You had time to wash the dishes, do some homework, and get in your sweats. At 7:30 pm you gave up; he wasn’t coming. Your father was still watching TV, completely oblivious to your growing anger. You picked up his plate to put it in the sink but tripped and dropped it, the delicate plate exploded into a thousand pieces.

- “Y/n? Everything okay?”

- “Y..ea.. an accident. I’ll pick it up.”

There was a slight tremolo in your voice. That was it. Your day had been terrible with no sign of sun, and this broken plate would be your breaking point as ridiculous as it sounded. You leaned on the counter, head hanging low, feeling tears of frustration swelling up in your eyes. Taking a deep breath, you looked up; in a second you were out the back door.

- “Where you going?” you heard your father ask.

- “Getting the trash out.”

The figure backed in the woods as you rushed into them without hesitation. You smacked against something big and warm, warmer than it was normal to be, yet you had become quite accustomed to it.

- “You little piece of shit.” your index finger digging in his chest. “You weren’t even here today, and it was terrible, and you can’t do this. I do not need any PROTECTION. Oh my god, do you really think I am weak and helpless without you or Leah or Seth or ANY werewolf to protect me?!”

He didn’t interrupt your monologue, only looking at you spitting your anger out.

- “You are SO annoying. Honestly who- who do you think you- are?! I’m- I am not, I can DEFINITELY, I don’t ne-eed any-one.” Your speech was becoming less and less coherent, your emotions taking control of your mind.

Without waiting any longer for you to finish your incoherent thought, he pulled you in for one of his signature bear hugs.

- “You can’t do this to me I’m an-ang-angry...”.

- “Shhh, it’s okay.”

- “You-you weren’t there.” you gave up fighting him, wrapping your arms around his waist.

- “I’m sorry, Leah told me.”

- “Wh- why didn’t you come sooner?” you continued, sobbing.

- “Some wolf things, Paul got in trouble.“ you backed off, immediately lifting your head at the mention of one of your friends in trouble.

- “Is he okay?”

- “Of course, he is, but Sam was very upset this time.” he stroked the side of your face with a small smile. “Enough with the boys, tell me what's wrong.”

- “Everything. I left my car window opened my seat was drenched. At school, everyone was disgustingly happy and in a good mood. I did not know I had an exam, I didn’t even study the subject. And this morning, my dad half ate the rest of my favorites cereals, and then I didn’t eat anything else as a silent protest, I know that’s stupid, but”

- “You didn’t eat anything else?”

- “Yeah, but I…” you lifted your gaze to meet his disapproving one. “I mean, I must have eaten a snack at lunch today…”

- “Must have?” he looked angrier.

- “Y/n??? Where are you??”

The calling of your father interrupted your conversation; he looked in its direction.

- “You should go back inside before your dad comes out.”

- “What? No, please. Can’t you kidnap me for tonight?” he chuckled lightly.

- “Trust me, go back in, okay?”

You looked at him unsure, even though you knew he was worthy of your trust. You finally nodded before running back inside.

- “What took you so long?”

- “Oh, uh, I thought I saw something and got a little carried away.”

- “Mokay, I don’t like you being so close to the woods. We’ve still had a few complaints about some trekkers finding traces of big animals in the woods. I’d prefer you be careful, alright?” You held up a smile, thinking about your friend just outside.

- “Sure.”

You stayed in the middle of the living room, expecting, waiting to see Jacob’s next move. You expected something quick, but when ten minutes later, there were still no signs of him, you felt frustration rising again. Not sure what to do now, you sat next to your father, half paying attention to what was happening on the screen. If he just left you, he was going to pay for it. You needed him, and just like that, he was gone? Probably, got called away by Sam again. Maybe it wasn’t in his control? But if it was…

Knock. Knock.

You looked up, surprised. The door opened with a creaking sound.

- “Oh, Jacob. Hi, what are you doing here?”

- “Hi Charlie, I heard Y/n had a pretty bad day. Came to kidnap her, if that's okay?”

- “Bad day? That’s an understatement. I swear, at one point, I thought she was going to scream at me. I ate her last bowl of cereal this morning; the thing was disgusting, I only ate half of it. I don’t think that helped.” You heard your friend’s low chuckle. Your dad seemed to feel pretty guilty about his crime, which did make you feel a tad bit better. “But yeah sure. Y/n! You have a visitor.”

You walked to them, Jacob awkwardly fitting in your small house; he seemed so disproportionate with his imposing size. For once, he was wearing actual clothes, a shirt and a pair of jeans, a sign he wasn’t planning on having to transform tonight. A sign that he was planning on being entirely dedicated to you.

- “Ready to go? I’m kidnaping you.” He said that last part with a smirk, a hint to your previous request.

- “Sure.” You grabbed your coat, said goodbye to your dad, and left without waiting any longer.

First, he took you away to get some food in you. It wasn’t until your teeth were digging inside a delicious burger that you realized just how hungry you were. Jacob being the glutton that he is, ordered two cheeseburgers along with a pack of large fries. You went for a milkshake, the perfect dessert for a night like this, and took your victuals to the La Push beach. It was empty and peaceful; the sun was slowly going down, the wind just a whisper in the night. It wasn’t even that cold, but the excuse to snuggle into Jake’s wolfish warmth was too good to pass.

- “Feeling better?” he asked while wrapping his arm around your shoulders.

- “Yes. Thanks, Jake.”

- “Kidnapping mission was a success?”

- “Yes, it was.” You answered with a smile.

- “Alright.” He muttered under his breath, looking in the distance.

You stayed for a while in comfortable silence, simply enjoying the other’s presence.

- “So, what were you saying about me not being there today, like that made your day worst?”

His question took you by surprise. A look at his cocky expression was all it took you to punch him in the ribs as hard as you could.

- “You wish idiot.”

He laughed at your attack, he probably didn't even feel a thing but leveled his face with yours in all seriousness.

- “You can avoid this conversation for now since you had a shit day and all, but keep in mind, it’s not over.”

- “And you keep in mind that our discussion about you ordering werewolves to stay behind to protect me, is not over. You won’t get away easily with that one Black.”

He laughed again, visibly amused with your threat. You laughed too but were slightly less amused. These two conversations were important ones, although one you apprehended way more. You looked at Jacob's happy expression and felt a fuzzy feeling warming your body. No, right now was not the time for such serious topics.
