Redesign of Rhaenyra’s dress from 1x02. This dress annoyed me sooo much onscreen, and I finally realized why while redesigning it: it’s not necessarily the design, it’s the execution. I genuinely don’t know what the designers were thinking with some of their construction choices. I fixed my biggest complaints in my version :) Details below!

Do you see how happy and goofy Ceraxes is here with his toothy smile 😂 That’s called true love ladies and gents: when you finally see your dragon counterpart after 6 months. Matt Smith in an interview also alluded to how dragons are spiritually and telepathically bonded to their riders and so Ceraxes is an externalisation of Daemon’s emotions. In this scene he’s practically giddy just seeing her

HOTD: 1x02 - High Valyrian
For those who has already watched episode 2, but couldn’t understand the conversation between Rhaenyra and Daemon.
- My father made me Princess of Dragonstone. It’s my castel that you occupy, my oncle.
- It will be yours when you come of age.
- You have angered your King.
- How did I make him angry? Today, I’m celebrating my wedding.
- You already have a wife.
- That I did not choose.
- So you had to steal my brother's egg?
- A dragon shared your crib.
- It will be the same for my child.
- You are going to be a father?
- One day.

Redesigns of Alicent’s ladder dress from 1x02. I scrapped the ladder cutouts completely because I just don’t like them lol. I imagine the jeweled collar to have a similar thematic weight as the torc Dany wears in agot. I wanted my design to be conservative but also not- imo the original dress is a little too on the nose as far as Otto’s intentions go so I wanted to rein that in here. I wound up landing on a simple but fitted velvet dress. I also did two color schemes- the first one is more in line with the original navy, with added emeralds (or something) on the collar for House Hightower. The other is a classic black/red because I wouldn’t put it past Otto to dress Alicent in Targaryen colors as a form of subliminal messaging.

Alicent Hightower show vs books
Age:
"He would marry again, yes … but not to a twelve-year-old girl, and not for reasons of state. Another woman had caught his eye. He announced his intention to wed Lady Alicent of House Hightower, the clever and lovely eighteen-year-old daughter of the King’s Hand."
Children:
"Queen Alicent had soon proved to be as fertile as she was pretty. In 107 AC, she bore the king a healthy son, naming him Aegon, after the Conqueror. Two years later, she produced a daughter for the king, Helaena; in 110 AC, she bore His Grace a second son, Aemond, who was said to be half the size of his elder brother but twice as fierce.
Queen Alicent, also went into labor, delivering Viserys his third son, Daeron … whose coloring, unlike that of Jace, testified to his dragon blood. By royal command, the infants Jacaerys Velaryon and Daeron Targaryen shared a wet nurse until weaned. It was said that the king hoped to prevent any enmity between the two boys by raising them as milk brothers."
Rhaenyra:
"Princess Rhaenyra poured for her stepmother at the feast, and Queen Alicent kissed her and named her “daughter.”"
