Here, have some chibi drawings inspired by the RP me and my friend @autoartist is doing (where we've gone and put a ton of skellies in a world where they're humans)! So many cuties, so little time! <3

If you wanna know who is who, read under the cut!

Two first ones are Media and Fusion, me and my friend's characters Next one is Dancetale Sans (Rhythm) and Fellswap Gold Sans (Wine) Then we have Swap Pap (Stretch) and Fell Pap (Edge) And the last two is just two versions of the same, not sure what I like more, but it's Swap Sans (Blue) and Fell Sans (Red)!

living weapon whumpee who's never known anything but pain and violence.

their existence hurts. they were made to be effective, not happy, and their masters decided that keeping them in constant pain provided better results. they're wilder, more unpredictable, and the pain keeps them from thinking straight enough to question anything.

they're only given painkillers, only allowed a respite from their seemingly endless suffering, after a successful mission. it keeps them loyal, and most importantly, teaches their brain to associate acts of violence with relief and rewards.

everyone they've ever met has treated them as a tool, a monster, or both. they don't know how to be anything else.

that is until they're rampaging through a village, destroying, killing, whatever their masters demand of them. whatever will give them a few blissful hours of numbness.

one of the villagers steps out of a ruined building and looks them straight in the eyes. whumpee expects fear, hatred, disgust, the things they see in the faces of every person who's ever crossed their path. but they see something completely different.

compassion.

whumpee is so stunned, they don't think to move or do anything at all as the villager steps closer, gently reaching out a hand to cup whumpee's face.

"oh, poor thing." they murmur, taking in the creature in front of them - part human, part animal, part machine. "they've done a number on you, huh?"

whumpee blinks at them. pain continues to course through their body, but the gentle hand on their cheek distracts them, even if just a little. all the indistinct noise in their foggy, addled mind finally goes quiet.

caretaker had stepped out in front of the being destroying their home with the intention to get through to it or die trying, and the expectation to absolutely die trying.

they did not at all expect the seemingly feral mishmash of metal, fur, and flesh to lean so heavily into their touch that they nearly collapsed into caretaker's arms.

'not actively suffering' should be the best they can strive for #their masters never anticipated that having someone treat them with anything other than revulsion or detatched indifference would break them #bc they banked on no one showing positive reactions to the monster that destroyed their homes and potentially killed their loved ones #caretaker is just crazy <33

I just wanna say that it's 4am and I spent hours scrolling through your blog-- I just love your AUs sm, particularly the separation AU. I strongly stan the clown outfits, steeb is just so freaking adorable, I cant. And star is so pretty. and they are cute together and fill my heart with joy.

On another note, I saw you put some thoughts on them fusing, and while I fully respect whichever decision you make, I do hope they get to fuse, even if not permanently. And I appreciate you mentioned it wouldn't be just steven their fusion in this hypothetical situation, but rather a combination of both. I wonder though, how they'd look, if their fusion would just take the form of steven, or if it would change, since star has his own different form and not a copy of steven. Do you have any thoughts on that?

And gosh, I haven’t thought abt their fusion in months, it was an older idea I played around with for awhile. I ended up scrapping it and went with the idea that they were so severed after so many years that fusion was out of the question, and both halves had developed such separate identities and lives that even if they could fuse, they’d have no desire to permanently. I think I posted art of their fusion a bit but at the time my art skills were pretty underdeveloped and I have a tendency to delete older posts I dislike lol

Tbh I’m not great at gem designs, especially gem fusion designs. Fusion designs go beyond just mashing two people’s physical characteristics together. There’s tons of things to consider, like the persons’ views of each other, the state and type of the relationship, personalities, etc, etc.

But heck, I really liked some parts of the design, so here’s a doodle! Ugh now I want to ramble about the fusion design. But I imagine that if they could fuse, it would be a very rare, intimate thing. They’re stronger together, especially on Steven’s side, but it’s also very vulnerable, usually on Stars side.

BUT YES INDEED! rarely alluded to & shown off anywhere but here, but she DOES indeed exist, & is virtually the silent " higher-up observee " of the game next to Nobody ( settings person );

i fully planned on showing her off here when i had something of a better, colored reference to go off of here, but- ah well. your query is as good an excuse as any!

BEHOLD! thierry's official curator ( who, by this point, could use some design tweaks because it's actually been a good while since her design was conjured but you get the idea )!

basically -- the curator is an incorporeal, " narrator " entity in the same vein as thierry, who just so happened to get trapped within the game as thierry was laying down the foundation, & by this point, can't escape, & has given up any attempt at it.

for one reason or another, perhaps because she's physically confined to the Museum - more of a scrapped concept for an after-the-game asset archive walkthrough that's been forgotten by thierry at this point, he can't detect her presence & he has no idea she's even in there. the only person who DOES, is rosemary. & arguably nobody.

but from there, does she watch over the game & all that happens within it, having absolutely 0 control of it, but almost 100% awareness of everything that goes on under its roof - unlike thierry, & considering what she's had to witness thus far, she's appalled.

rather than trying to convince the hypothetical " player " to quit the game to save the narrator & stanley, curie's instead trying to convince rosemary to do ANYTHING else than let him walk all over her, or do anything to preserve herself. but rosemary doesn't listen.

& the curator can't do anything more than offer her some outside hospitality & an escape when she wants it. so she remains to watch over them both.

Chelone AU - rough designs

OK with the new Percy Jackson show coming out TOMORROW I have very high hopes and I think at least some passive brainrot will take hold so I decided to channel that into my active brainrot and…. well. It may have gotten out of hand.

So now I present to you the Chelone AU, a Rise - Percy Jackson AU where the boys are all campers at Camp Half Blood who are sent on a quest together after Leo is assigned a prophecy. However, they return almost a month later in failure — the prophecy is incomplete, the group was cursed on their quest, and now they’re no longer… exactly human.

These are just some rough designs/doodles of the characters in their human forms and turtle forms — maybe I’ll clean them up later, but it gives the idea.

I’ve got a comic planned with this that will hopefully have a chapter each week while the show is being released. Keep an eye out for chapter one!
