I think Cas should have flipped people off more especially when Dean calls and he's being annoying, cas flips off the phone and all you hear is Dean saying "Cas. Cas! Are you even listening to me?"
"yes."
Silence for a few seconds before Dean says, "Did you flip me off just now? I JUST ASKED YOU TO PICK UP LAUNDRY DETERGENT!"
"I already left the store, Dean!"

Oscar and Daisy meet again ahead of the season, alone, before they’re accompanied by their trainers, and find common ground in the calm before the storm.

"I still can't believe he'd do that to me!" Sebastian's head perks up at your voice, followed by the slamming of his front door, the broken hinge he still needed to fix making slamming actually necessary for once. You had become a staple in the Vettel household in the past two weeks. Between breaking up with your long term boyfriend, starting your f1 career, and needing to move to Germany, it had been a lot.
And now he's staring down Mark Webber who calmly takes a sip of the coffee Hanna had made him with a tiny shrug. Sebastian hears you kick off your shoes, pause to greet Hanna in the foyer, and the three Vettel children who happily babble to you for long enough for your anger to dissipate as you make your way through the house to where you know Sebastian will be perched in the kitchen as per usual.
"She speaks like you during Red Bull." Mark hums into his coffee and Sebastian sends him a look that has the Australian holding up a hand in surrender with a soft laugh through the coffee in his mouth.
"Mark Webber?" You query in the doorway as the Australian snaps his head to you, giving a polite smile to your bewildered expression.
"What an honor to finally meet the second woman Sebastian doesn't shut up about," Mark reaches a hand out to gently shake the one you lift to him, Sebastian rolling his eyes.
"No no, honors all mine!" You smile, gently setting down the paper bag of groceries you'd been sent to get, "Sorry I'm a bit scatter brained at a moment, a lot has been happening."
"Ah, Oscar's the same--ow?!" Mark is cut off by Sebastian punching his shoulder, and your eyes narrowing at the man who had inadvertently raised you through sponsoring your karting since age nine.
"Daisy," Sebastian says in the voice that would make most people think you were in trouble as he crosses his arms and leans on the counter, "Mark's here for a meeting with me, about Porsche's strategy next year because... Porsche is making negotiations with McLaren."
You blink, "Oh..." You look at the obvious tension between the two retired drivers and slowly sink down into the seat you usually find yourself in, "...kay..."
"Sebastian, she's not five." Mark scowls, setting down his coffee, drawing your attention to how he's using one of the many mugs you'd bought Hanna, "Porsche and McLaren have made a deal to sort of... trade their drivers. They're trading Rhys for Oscar. You won't be racing on a team with your brother this season."
It doesn't take a keen eye to see the way your body tenses, hands tight around your phone as Sebastian realizes he should've asked if you were on a call. You hastily hang up with whoever you had been calling, setting your phone face down and leaning your elbows on the table. Hands tangled in your hair, messing up the time you had spent with the hot comb in the bathroom this morning.
When you let out a slow breath, Sebastian hates the way your voice strains as you ask, "Since when?"
"About..." Mark checks his watch, "Six hours ago? Oscar isn't even aware yet, I think he's still with his sisters for his Mom's birthday. Didn't wanna bother 'em."
"Why would Rhys do that?" You head snaps to Sebastian and he stammers, he detests the tears that line your eyes and threaten to fall. The tears that Mark takes that as his cue to go find something interesting in the hallway to stare at. He squeezes your forearm in reassurance as he passes behind you and out of the room, and as your head in buried in your hands you can hear the scratching squeal of a chair as it's pulled to your side. Sebastian settles his hand between your shoulder blades with a soft, soothing rub, watching as you cry, and try to force yourself to stop, just to cry again. It had been a tough few weeks, and he knows this isn't the easiest thing for you to hear.
"McLaren gave Rhys money Porsche didn't want to give him. Porsche gave Oscar money McLaren wasn't going to give him. It was an easy natural trade." Sebastian tries to simplify it. He doesn't want to get into how in the past two seasons, even though Oscar was performing amazingly for how young he was in the sport, McLaren was neglecting him in favor of Lando. And McLaren, unlike how they had done it with Danny, were good at making it all seem well. Oscar didn't complain, he was already quiet, and it took Mark intercepting and getting in a blow out argument with Zak for Oscar to even notice the blatant favoritism. McLaren wanted Rhys purely because Porsche wanted Oscar, and Rhys was enchanted by the money before he even thought about leaving you behind. But he doesn't bring that up. He can't bring it up even when he tries because the lump that forms in his throat is impossible to speak around.
He especially doesn't bring up how Mark was the one to ask about Oscar in Porsche, he doesn't want to damage anything before you'd even started.
"Rhys left me for money, then." You mumble into your hand, looking up through your lashes at Sebastian who just rubs your shoulder and pulls you to slot under his chin and between his arms like usual.
"He didn't want to leave you. I'm sure." Sebastian is sure that Rhys did. Rhys knew you were a better driver than him, had told Sebastian such during the argument before he'd signed off to McLaren, and he felt like he could get more of a spotlight in McLaren then under you. He holds you for a little bit longer, until Hanna comes in to sit with you, and he can slip off to the hall where Mark leans against the wall on his phone.
"Oscar's not taking it well either." Mark shoves his phone in Sebastian's face, showing the constant stream of confused messages from the now Porsche pilot, how he wasn't even aware the change was finalized.
"I think it will all flatten out once they meet." Sebastian tries to sound optimistic, but Mark's soft head tilt tells him that he just missed the head of the nail on that.
"We'll see." Mark hums, before lifting his phone to his ear and greeting Oscar on the other line.
--
Mannheim is gorgeous, at least you have that going for you. Porsche's new extension of the motorsports center is nicely furnished and you've been settled on one of the various soft chairs facing one of the large bay windows for a while now--soaking in the warm sun.
The footsteps behind you make you crack open your eyes and peer over your shoulder as Oscar slowly approaches, laughing to himself softly when he sees you looking.
"Thought you were sleeping." He says idly, sitting in a chair next to yours and you hum, stretching like a cat just woken from a nice sunbath nap.
"Wish I was, the sun feels amazing." You reply softly, glancing over at the Australian, eyes tracing the freckles that are now more prominent from his extended time in the sun. You and Oscar were never super close, just mutual friends through Logan, both of you sort of the introverted companions to your loud-mouthed American friend. Oscar doesn't say anything in response, just looks down and picks at the skin by his nails, so you continue.
"Bet the sun feels better in Australia."
"Feels worse," Oscar replies, "gives you a burn before you can even get sun tan on you, and burns your retinas before you can get sunnies on."
"But the glow I would have would be unstoppable." You chime, earning a soft chuckle.
"Yeah, probably. Your glow now isn't too bad though."
Back a few years ago, any compliment from Oscar would make you blush--and make Logan receive probably thirty spam texts of mush. You'd had a crush on the Aussie in your teens, between racing and hanging out with him and Logan, his charm was top notch. But, what you had failed to realize was that he was not interested in dating until Logan had to softly break the news to you.
You had successfully swallows your pride after a good two pints with Rhys and Logan in a back corner of some shitty Austin bar, and a pint or two of ice cream when you'd gotten home, and started dating your (now) ex-boyfriend, Andre Boucher, a week or so after that season had ended.
Six years ago.
You crossed one leg over the other, looking over at the man who'd been holding your heart for years, and found your mind made you rational. Luckily.
"Sorry for being a bit of a blow-in on your season with Porsche." Oscar says when he notices you've been trying to find words to say, ever observant as he pressed on, "I know you really wanted to have your maiden season be with Rhys, but he was like... off his head when they were telling him about all the money they'd give 'em. I felt bad but Mark kinda made the decision it would be best for both of us to swap. I just hope they treat him better than they were treatin' me."
You're quiet for a long while, trying to still the insult brewing in the back of your throat in defense of Rhys but honestly, you hadn't even spoke to Rhys about it yet. Letting out a soft sigh that turns into a whistle, you rub at the irritation headache forming across your temple.
"Feel free to tell me to piss off whenever." Oscar hums and you shake your head.
"It's not you. Trust me, it's not." You grumble, leaning forward, "Rhys has always been chasing the money and the limelight since we were kids. I know he loves his work here but sometimes I wonder how much is a love for racing and how much is a love for money--not to just... dump all of this on you."
"I know what you mean. Sometimes that money just gets to your head. Give Rhys time, I reckon he'll come back 'round." Oscar nods to you, then looks down at his watch to some text that pops up on the screen and he huffs.
"Mark pushed back the meeting two hours, wanna go get lunch? Apparently theres a really good ramen place just down the road. A lot of the interns have carry out from there." Oscar stands and you smile, standing up and slinging your bag over your shoulder.
"Sounds perfect to me."

Mushy May in Lucifer's Hollow: Day 6 - Blushing
Copia x Aether
This fic is set in an alternate universe in a town called Lucifer's Hollow. For Mushy May I'll be using the prompts to post little snippets of life for the humans and ghouls that live there 💙 Thank you to @forlorn-crows for putting Mushy May together!
~ In Lucifer's Hollow Copia teaches history at the high school and Aether is a firefighter. ~
Warnings: Copia being awkward and cute, flirty texts idk, nsfw 18+ mdni, 600 words (thank you to @ghuleh-recs for the dividers!)
Tumblr media
Aether:  What are you wearing?
Copia’s brain whited out when he read the text and he quickly slapped his phone screen down onto his desk.  He winced when the sharp noise made a few of his students look up from their tests but after he gave them an awkward smile they went back to work.  Unholy hell, what was Aether doing?  His phone vibrated again and Copia took a deep breath before turning it back over.
Aether:  Is it sexy?
He couldn’t help but look down at himself, seeing his usual button up and cardigan.  His pants had felt a little tight this morning but he blamed that on Swiss continuing to show up with pies from his new boyfriend.  Copia nibbled on his bottom lip before slowly typing out his reply.
Copia:  Are cardigans sexy?
The response was immediate and Copia could feel his cheeks heating up violently.
Aether:  On you?  Hell yes.
He bit down on his lip to prevent a delirious laugh from escaping.  Oh this was not an appropriate conversation to have right now.  Copia looked up at the clock on the wall, disappointed to see that there was still an hour left before lunch.  Maybe playing along just a bit longer wouldn’t hurt?  He slouched down in his chair while he responded.
“Mr. Emeritus?”
“Shit!”  Copia fumbled with his phone, cursing again under his breath when it fell to the floor.  With a sigh he looked up to see one of his students standing on the other side of his desk.  “Sì?”
“Can I go to the bathroom?”
He nodded and waved the student away, managing an awkward thumbs up when they gave him a funny look.  Copia looked down at his phone before bending over to pick it up.  This was ridiculous, he was terrible at flirting in person so continuing this on the phone would just be even more embarrassing.  Determined to delete the text he had typed out he was horrified to see that while fumbling with his phone he had accidentally sent it.
Copia:  What about off?
“Merda.”  Was there a way to delete sent texts?  Copia stayed frozen in place, trying to decide if it was worth googling.  An alert from Terzo popped up but he ignored it.  He did not have time for whatever the fuck Terzo was up to.  “Uh, class?”
Obediently all their heads popped up from their work.  Copia began to make mental notes of who had been on their phones but decided today would be a good day to let that go.  He started to ask if anyone knew an answer to his problem but his phone vibrated again and the message had his heart speeding up dangerously.
Aether:  Even better.
“I have to go to the bathroom!”  He jumped up from his desk, banging his knees in the process.  His chair shot out from behind him, hitting the wall and making one of his bulletin boards fall to the floor.  Lucifer, what was wrong with him?  Limping, he made his way over to the door, flinging it open and turning back to his class with as stern a look as he could manage.  “No phones!”
He barely avoided breaking out into a run, rushing into the teacher’s lounge and then into the private bathroom inside.  The students would be ok on their own for a bit.  Probably.  Long enough for him to get the nerve to suggest to Aether they continue this conversation that night at his house.  In person and hopefully naked.
Terzo would be so proud of him.

Second Chances
(Another Stizzy fic here! I wanted to write something christmassy, but I failed completely so this is my usual thing, a bit of angst, but not too much because I'm too soft to be too mean to those characters.
So Stizzy fic, angst with happy ending. Still very PG. Set some time after 2x07 because that's where canon ends for me.)
...
Frenchie and Izzy had been missing for two days and Stede had been losing his mind for a day and a half.
He knew the decision had been the right one, the sensible one, the one a good pirate captain would take. It still had hurt to give the order to leave port without his men on board.
It was a not-so-friendly port and Frenchie and Izzy had been trying to make a deal with a local merchant when the British had appeared out of nowhere and the risk of staying there like a sitting duck had been too big so to save the ship and the rest of the crew they had had to set sail, hoping to be back soon to pick them up again.
That had been two long days ago and even though Stede had been trying to keep calm, repeating to himself that Frenchie and Izzy were smart and resourceful and that the crew had managed to send them a warning before leaving port, he had started to lose that fight quite soon. He wasn’t the only one that had been worried, though.
Fang had been the most obvious one as he had spent a lot of those two days crying not so quietly around the ship.
Jim, Archie and Roach had spent way too much time sharpening knives and anything pointy enough to cut people to ribbons.
Oluwande had been constantly making rounds, checking everything on the ship, to make sure they were ready to sail or fight, he had simply said.
Buttons had sent Olivia to land for news frequently and had sworn that the bird had seen Frenchie and Izzy and they were still safe.
“They’re hiding, c’ptain, they’re smart and know when to lie low.”
Black Pete, who had been awfully quiet since they left, had simply nodded in agreement and had kept polishing the cannons.
And Lucius, poor Lucius had been so tense that had broken four quills in those two days, but still he kept insisting he was sure their friends were going to be just fine.
Wee John had turned to knitting as if their lives depended on it. With the Swede’s help he had started making scarves, then jackets, then blankets, but Stede guessed it was a good thing that he had something that kept him occupied.
Stede, on the other hand, could only wait and try not to listen to the awful voice in his head that sounded way too much like Badminton’s and that insisted that he was never going to have the chance to hear Frenchie’s songs again. That he was never going to see Izzy smile to him again.
And that last part was particularly heartbreaking because Stede had only seen that once, but oh, hadn’t it been something beautiful. And he had felt the luckiest man in the word that time, because he knew not many had seen such smile. Probably nobody since Ed had left them.
It had been rough at first, for both of them, but things had gotten better with time and one night, after a late conversation about their next stop to restock Stede had made a joke he couldn’t remember now and Izzy had let out a short laugh and had smiled at him before shyly looking away, and Stede had been so surprised that hadn’t said anything when the first mate had said good night and left, but then he had stayed awake in bed for a long time replaying Izzy’s smile in his head.
And now he was spending hours on deck, watching the sea from that protected cove and waiting for news from a seagull while the ugly voice in his head insisted that he was never going to see Frenchie and Izzy again. That they had been found by the British. That Stede had let them die like a coward.
...
The morning of the third day, Olivia brought the news of the British leaving the town and Stede didn’t even question it, he immediately gave the order to go back there. In fact, he didn’t even have time to finish yelling his orders because the crew had already rushed to their posts to get the ship moving.
Some other time it would have hurt his feelings, seeing the crew ignore his authority like that, but at that moment he couldn’t care less. Stede simply went to Pete’s side to help and they sailed as fast as they could.
When they reached the port they had barely had time to dock when two figures came rushing towards the ship, one leaning heavily on the other.
They were alive, was Stede’s only thought and the relief almost brought him to his knees.
The moment Frenchie and Izzy got on board, they set sail again, still no sign of the British but better not to tempt fate, and the crew exploded in a chorus of happy cheers as they surrounded their missed crewmates.
Wee Jon engulfed Frenchie in a tight hug as the others patted Izzy on the back and congratulated him for not dying once again. Stede took a look at his first mate’s tired face and smiled at him. Izzy smiled back, looking relieved and happy and Stede couldn’t stop himself from taking the few steps that separated them and pulling Izzy into a crushing hug.
Izzy gasped in surprise, but he soon relaxed in Stede’s arms, letting out a soft sigh against his neck. Stede could have spent hours like that, but eventually he let go of Izzy and looked at him with worry.
“Are you injured?” he asked. “I saw you limping on your way here.”
“We’re both ok,” Izzy replied. “We spent too much time hidden in a cramped space and my leg wasn’t happy about it, I’ll be fine. A bit of food and water would be great, though. We had to do with scraps these last days.”
“Of course!”
When he turned around Stede realized Frenchie was already being guided towards the galley by the rest of the crew and Izzy started slowly following them.
“Wait, Izzy!” Stede said before he could get too far.
Izzy turned back to look at him questioningly and Stede faltered.
“I’d like to keep talking about what has happened,” he finally said. “I have some refreshments in my cabin, I’m sure you can find something you’d like to eat there or I could ask Roach to bring us something…“
“I’m on it, Captain, don’t worry,” Lucius cheerfully said, appearing suddenly at Stede’s side. “I’ll make sure you get some food and water from the galley soon, it looks like you have a lot to talk about.”
Lowering his voice to barely a whisper the young man added “Don’t chicken out now, Captain” and then he started walking towards the galley after smiling encouragingly at Izzy.
Stede looked at Izzy and waited for an answer and the first mate simply nodded and started limping towards the cabin.
Stede was by his side in a second and without asking if he needed any help, because he knew the answer would always be ‘no’, he put an arm around Izzy’s waist to support him and help him walk. To his surprise, Izzy didn’t flinch, didn’t loudly complain, he simply put his arm around Stede’s shoulders and together they walked slowly towards the cabin.
Once inside the room, once the door closed behind them, Stede stopped to look at Izzy with his arm still around him and realized he didn’t want to let go. The voice inside his head, that now sounded surprisingly like Lucius, started whispering to him. You almost lost him, it said, it was almost too late, don’t be a coward now.
Izzy hadn’t let go either, Stede realized, his arm was still around his shoulder and when he looked at the first mate’s face Stede saw a longing that he was sure was reflected in his own face.
I’m a pirate, Stede thought, and pirates are fearless.
So Stede leaned down and kissed him.
Izzy raised his hand to curl around Stede’s neck and deepened the kiss and neither of them let go for a while.
When a suspiciously long time later Lucius finally knocked on the door and let himself inside with a tray of food from the galley, he found Izzy already asleep, leaning against Stede on the settee.
Closing the book he had been reading, Stede put a finger over his lips to demand silence and Lucius complied, leaving quietly as Stede snuggled back against Izzy with a soft smile on his face.

“Has he told you?” Betty asked as soon as Jughead sat down.
“Told me what?” Jughead asked. He’d just come from a meeting with the Serpents and wanted more than anything to sit down for a minute and get something to eat without worrying.
“Archie might be building a bomb.” Veronica said. Jughead sighed. Took his hat off and rubbed the back of his head before carefully putting it back on and then looked at Archie.
“Are you nuts! Why would you be building a bomb!” Jughead said with his best disapproving voice.
“For several weeks, my Secret Santa has been giving me pieces of a machine that I've been attempting to assemble.” Archie explained.
“Which is super dangerous because you don’t know what on earth it could be!” Betty insisted.
“I mean. At some point Archie would notice that he was building a bomb if it was a bomb.” Jughead offered hope. Though he sounded as if he really wasn’t sure if Archie would. Though. He wasn’t sure that he would either if it was sent bit by bit.
You smiled as you cheerily made your way into Pop’s. You put in for your usual order and waved at the group.
“Hey guys. Archie, how's your invention going?” You asked. Archie frowned at this and Betty glared at you. Archie had told her that no one else knew, except for Fred who had been arguing with him about building it after discovering it in the garage that morning and finding out that Archie had no clue where it came from. Betty had interrupted the argument and then told Veronica.
“How do you know about Archie’s… invention?” Betty asked. Your eyes went wide and you winced.
“Oh. I didn’t mean to spoil the surprise. I was Archie’s secret santa.” You admitted.
“You are? What’d you send him?” Jughead asked.
“A little portable radio. It’s supposed to be a beginners guide to building things. I even set it up with the post office to send it bit by bit to make it more fun!” You explained.
“So it’s not a bomb?” Veronica asked.
“Of course not.” You answered quickly.
“But wait. If you send me a radio. Then why does it have arms?” Archie asked.
“Maybe I should have sent you the instructions first.” You said quietly. Jughead laughed loudly as Archie continued to describe what he thought had been a robot that he was building.

Zoe Week; Day 6-A Night Off
AKA Comfort Zoe Night
So, this was the first prompt I actually wrote cause it spoke the most to me (the fluffy potential) but then the muses decided to be difficult and I struggled with it until like 2 days before Zoe Week began. I also wound up scrapping my partial first draft and re-writing the first bit to be slightly based off some wonderful Teny art because I realized it could still fic with my idea! (Gotta love great art that inspires) (The art in question is those wonderful pics of Zoe and Douxie as he meets her after a shift at Hextech and then precedes to be a little shit) Anyway, I hope you all enjoy this one and hopefully it doesn’t end too abruptly, like I said the muses wanted to be difficult with this one.
AO3
~*~*~*~*~*~
The night was clear and cool, something that would usually bring calm to the pink haired witch as she walked home from another busy day at Hex-Tech but not tonight. The day had been absolutely brutal. First she'd had the early shift, which was never fun, then she'd been assigned to the bar for almost the entirety of her shift which meant dealing with all sorts of customers. The irritable, the entitled, the ones that just wouldn't listen, it had almost driven her insane by the time her lunch break arrived. It was only after slurping down a cup of noodles and sending a curse heavy text on how crappy her day had been so far to Douxie that she got the wonderful news that she had to work a double shift. She was so going to curse Dave the next time she saw him, she always got his shifts whenever he didn't come in. And of course that extra shift came with, you guessed it, more bar duty! So Zoe had dealt with double the awful customers! Including two absolute Karen's. Why her managers kept putting her in the front when her talents lay better with the tech itself, she'd never understand.
At least she was finally off for the weekend...
Coming around the last corner before her apartment building, she spied her longtime partner and lover, Hisirdoux, leaning against the chain-link fence, waiting for her. She paused for a moment, taking in the rare relaxed air around him and admiring his bare biceps for a moment before sighing, knowing why he was waiting for her. And usually she'd be ready to go hunt Niffins and take on whatever else they might encounter on a Friday night, especially after the day she had, but she was too beat to do anything more. So shifting her bag in her grip, she made her way closer to the wizard, not looking forward to canceling their plans.
“Ah! The fair lady approaches!” He exclaimed, noticing her first with a smirk before his face soften, “Rough day, Love?”
“Uuugg!! You have no idea!!” She groaned, knowing her text had said as much but now she could rant in person about just how bad it actually was. Stopping next to him, she ran her fingers through her hair before rubbing at her temples, trying to push down the migraine that had been brewing since two o'clock, “Not only did fuckin' Dave not come in, we had two, Two, Karen's come in! I was almost certain we'd have a third but thankfully her husband calmed her down. Of course then that entitled Spanish teacher had to come in, again, who, of course, I had to deal with! Not to mention all the other sorts that came in today... And! Because the universe's law apparently decided to hate me today, someone calls right before closing!” She groaned again, feeling annoyed anew rather than relieved after her rant. “Anyway, as much as I'd like to go Niffin hunting, I'm just too beat-!”
Distracted as she was with her rant, the hedge-witch hadn't noticed Douxie's arm sneaking around her before he wrapped it around her shoulder and laid a kiss on her head. He hummed into her hair, nuzzling her softly, “I'm so sorry your day sucked, Darling.”
“Yeah, well...” Zoe felt her cheeks heat up, sinking into the hug he started to give her and feeling most of the fight leave her suddenly. You'd think after almost five hundred years of being together romantically this sap wouldn't cause such a reaction but you'd be wrong. “It's over now, I guess...And I have the weekend off thankfully.”
“That you do~” Douxie sang into her ear before suddenly rubbing his hand over her head vigorously and messing up her hair, “And I'm sure you'll feel much better after a good nights sleep!!”
“Aaarrgggg!!!” Zoe cried out in surprise and anger, “Hisirdoux!!” She pushed him away, glaring at his grin before marching away, “Jerk! Why do I like you again?!”
“Because without me and Arch your life would be dreadfully boring~?”
She huffed and flattened down her hair, “Hardly.” She then glared over her shoulder, “You are so sleeping on the couch tonight, or better yet, your own apartment when you get done.” She honestly wondered why she put up with his antics.
Douxie merely laughed some more, catching up to her and wrapping his arm around her waist, “Actually, Love, I've decided we're all taking the night off.” When she looked up at him with a disbelieving look he responded, “Really! Wards are already in place around town, so if there's any trouble, Arch and I can go take care of it but otherwise...” The wizard shrugged, “We're all off for the night and you have a little surprise waiting for you~”
“A surprise? Really?” She glared up at him, still annoyed, “I doubt whatever it is will make up for that stunt you just did...”
“I think it will~!” He sang.
Zoe huffed and crossed her arms, muttering a 'whatever' and allowing him to escort her to her apartment building and up to her home. Entering, she dropped her bag and kicked her shoes off by the door, striding over to where Archie was laying on the back of the couch and greeting the familiar with a chin scratch. Glancing around she saw nothing out of the ordinary with the exception that her sink was now empty of the few dishes she'd left there. If that was her so called 'surprise' than it was going to take a lot more than him doing her dishes for her to calm down from that surprise noogie. Lifting an eyebrow at the wizard, silently asking just what exactly he had planned, she watched him grin again before he offered up his arm to her.
“Come with me, Milady~ Your surprise awaits~”
Looking back down at Archie, the black cat merely stretched and stated, “I've been sworn to secrecy.”
Right, of course. Rolling her eyes, the pink hair witch allowed Douxie to guide her down her own hallway, stopping in front of the bathroom. Usually she could sniff out an idea on what he liked to surprise her with but tonight between her exhaustion and the fact that she was still a little annoyed with him, made her question just what he could've set up in the bathroom of all things.
Grinning down at her, Douxie gently pushed the door open and snapped his fingers. A dozen candles lit with the small pulse of magic, illuminating the simple space with a soft orange light and revealing the steaming, bubble filled bath. The light aura of blue magic indicated a warming spell, keeping it the perfect temperature for when she got home. Zoe let out a soft breath, feeling most of her annoyance leave, and leaned against him, letting him wrap his arms around her and nuzzle the top of her head. Trust this wonderful sap to fix her up something like this after she'd rough day at work. Sometimes Zoe wondered just what she did to have someone like Hisirdoux Casperan in her life but she certainly wasn't going to be ungrateful about it. She was even willing to let the whole noogie thing go...mostly.
“I want you to know I don't completely forgive you for that stunt outside but this...is a nice surprise.” She could even make out the light scents of tangerine and patchouli wafting from some of the candles. “And you can't always get away with something like that either.”
He chuckled low, placing a soft kiss on her head, “Of course, Love~” He carefully stepped back, bowing in an exaggerated manner as he gestured to the bathroom, “Now, do please enjoy, Milady, and once you're are done a meal will be ready for you.”
She snorted, “You can't cook.”
He clicked a pair of finger guns at her, “No but I can work an oven!” He then left her to her own devices with a final grin.
Zoe rolled her eyes and shook her head fondly. Gods he was a dork.
~*~*~*~
Twenty minutes later found Zoe happily relaxing in her bath, feeling better after the day she'd had, eyes closed as she listened the soft tunes playing from her small radio. She had to hand it to Douxie, he had thought of everything when setting all this up. The candles were the right amount of light, the radio was already set to play and the bath was filled with her favorite brand of bubble bath. There had even been a rolled up towel for behind her head as she leaned back in the tub. Humming along softly to the music, Zoe only wished for one last thing to make this perfect.
As if summoned by her thoughts, the door opened slowly just enough to allow a wine glass surrounded by blue magic to float in. Laughing lightly, she grabbed it out of the air, taking a sip before calling out, “Thank you but you could've given me it in person.”
“A gentleman never intrudes on a lady.” Was her response before she was left alone again to enjoy her bath.
~*~*~*~
Zoe eventually emerged, having stayed long enough for her fingers to prune slightly and for the water to grow cold, plus her stomach kept protesting the lack of food. So she made her way into the living room wrapped in one of Douxie's old bad shirts and a hoodie she had stolen, breathing in the scent of a freshly cooked frozen pizza. She was passed a plate with two large slices of her favorite kind, three meat with extra mushrooms, and had her glass refilled before being pointed over to go recline on the couch. Shaking her head, she followed the silent order and sat down, digging in before her boys were settled. Archie was passed a plate of salmon and sardines before Douxie joined her, his own plate balanced in a hand.
“So, what does the lady wish to watch tonight?” He asked, reaching for the remote and flipping through channels.
“Hmm...” The pinkette hummed, tucking her knees under her before taking a large bite of her pizza, “Don't really care. Just find something we can zone out to or make fun of.”
“As you wish~”
“Oh gods, no! Do not put that movie on!” She exclaimed, “I will kick you out if you do!”
Douxie laughed, almost spilling his dinner, “Very well! Not in the mood for it tonight.” He continued to chuckle as he flipped through more choices before settling on another horribly inaccurate film of a time they've lived through.
Later, once food was eaten and their movie had changed to something else, Zoe was snuggled against Douxie's side, on the verge of sleep. Archie was a ball of purring warmth on her lap and Douxie kept running soothing circles on her arm as she listened to his heartbeat. The witch was once again grateful to have these two in her life, not knowing just where she'd be without them. They made the bad days better. Wither it was helping her with a sprained ankle from running from goblins, helping her fight of a demon hellbent on kidnapping all the girls in a village or having to deal with crappy customers all day, they were always there beside her. Even if Douxie loved to take cheep shots that ultimately pissed her off even more. Zoe knew she'd always forgive him. And so, full, relaxed and loved, she fell asleep.
~*~*~*~*~*~
Aaahhh, Zoe loves her dork~ And gotta love cheesy endings lol! Hope you enjoyed and aahh!! Zoe week is almost over!

ROTT Review
SPOILERS FOR THE MOVIE. You have been warned.
FYI: I just finished the movie. So my opinions may change a bit but here I am writing a full review.
Before I talk about the movie, I have to say this movie has fantastic animation. The music is as good as usual.
Ok now the story. Let’s start with the our Trollhunters.
Fair Lady Claire. My girlie Claire really brought her all into this. I’m really proud of the young woman she has grown up into. However for the sake of the plot and story they make her run out of magic juice quite a bit. But my girl is still the best and gives it her all.
Wingman Domzalski. I will be perfectly honest. Toby is kind of the annoying best friend at times and bothers me as a plus size person. (They really push the over eating thing to the point that it’s his biggest factor.) Toby is a very eager kid who is ready to get in the action. Never being negative to his friend but the best emotional support who will always be at his side. Sure Toby was used a bit as comedic relief in the movie but when push comes to shove, Toby will always be there to do the right thing.
Blinky is amazing as always. One of the best father figures out there.
Aarrrgh was there. Was great for the scenes he was in, but all together didn’t do much that altered the story.
Our Trollhunter, Jim Lake Jr. Someone I admire and basically see as my little brother/child. Kiddo really did it. I know everyone is upset that Jim’s arc was redone when we had the “Unbecoming” episode. If I could come to a peaceful middle ground, I saw we all need to blame Merlin. He really rocked Jim’s world and self worth. When the creator of the object you need to save the world with tells you “You’re not enough”, it really can be a great setback. But once we past that, Jim really pulled through. Amulet or not, he is our Trollhunter.
Mommy Dr. Lake was there. Barbara was mostly there for our emotions.
Dilf Strickler. I felt that he was changed a bit since we last saw him, but he had a new purpose. He was more cautious and happy because he had a chance at a happy life with Barbara. Which makes what happens to him more upsetting.
Nomura my sweet. This movie did not deserve you. At least she was with Draal.
And Not-Enrique (seriously why didn’t they ever give him an actual name) just wasn’t in the movie.
How about some CreepSlayers?
BABY ELI PEPPERJACK CAME BACK LOOKING SO CUTE. So proud.
Bumbling knight oaf Steve the Palchuckian was great as usual.
I will say though. The whole pregnancy plot was just a way to get Eli and Steve out of the way. I could feel that the writers maybe didn’t like Steve so much since Wizards. But Steve was once again someone to laugh at. Pregnant and out of the way.
How about some Akiridions?
Aja my darling girl, oh how you’ve grown. I understand some think she has changed. However I must say that her preparing a plan B on the side was smart. She isn’t just a princess on earth anymore. She is a queen on a distant planet. So if she thought evacuation was best, it would ensure that everyone would live. And avoid losing more valuable people from her life. So no, I can’t blame her.
DJ Kleb was there. He was kinda doin his own thing and messing with Steve. Brother-in-law stuff.
It was good to see Varvatos Vex.
Stu was the man in the background working on the busy important things like working on the amulet. Personally I feel like the series REALLY underutilizes Stu A LOT so I was so happy to see him being a part of something huge.
And finally some Wizards.
Douxie my love, you were amazing as usual. His powers have grown greatly and have contributed to the adventure. But god the writers really do love to take everything away from him don’t they. It’s unfair.
Archie was kinda just there and just... I understand leaving Douxie but that doesn’t mean I like it.
Nari the sweetest. I can only imagine the guilt she felt to end Nomura. Her self sacrifice was probably the one in the movie most called for.
Alright now I’ll talk about the movie.
I can whole heartedly say this movie was rushed. To be honest I feel like the original writers weren’t completely in this. At least it felt kind of not so much Trollhunters or 3Below vibes but more Wizards, if that makes sense whatsoever. Something is off.
I just want to blame Merlin for everything. To hell with that guy.
The beginning sequence was great. A car chase to a moving train. Which ends up with Toby of course screwing up and breaking the brakes. Of course. The train falling off the tracks which ultimately ends up with Nari gone. Oh yeah, and video recordings of Magic, trolls and being taken in by the police. Great.
WHY TF WAS TOBY TELLING THEIR STORY TO THE POLICE. YOU DON’T MIX THE POLICE IN STORIES UNLESS YOU KNOW THE COP PERSONALLY. CUZ IT’S A MESS AND THE POLICE GET IN THE WAY. GDI TOBY.
Our heroes go back to base on the new and improved Camelot. Where we discover that Barbara and Strickler are now engaged. Happy news and would secure that Jim has another Father figure in his life and his mother’s happiness. Which explains Strickler’s “stay behind” advice. Now he has a family to watch over. He must be careful and warns that Jim’s actions could cost so much that he might not be able to afford.
Enters our Majesty Aja and the new stud on the block, Eli. Dang I wish puberty hit me like that.Truck-kun strikes again. And also enters... the pregnancy thing. I will say, I didn’t mind it too much... at first. But there are complications. Steve is too young to be a father and dang 7 kisses?? I can’t help but feel like Aja should have mentioned that or it was a last minute plan to write out Steve and Eli. (Which it was.) It was funny sure cuz omegaverse and ALIENS but all together it’s really iffy.
They really had Douxie preform a body-swap spell only so it would be undone. And undoing the spell only hurt them both?? C’mon. C’mon.
And they mention the Krohnisfere. We’ll get back to it. Jim gets a brand new amulet infused with Akaridion tech. However theres an issue. It was created by Merlin right? Who is a wizard right? Who uses MAGIC. Shame Douxie wasn’t there to help make it. Ya know. 1/2 of the original creator of the AMULET. So it’s missing a huge part and for the sake of the plot, Jim doesn’t test the Amulet which is out of character personally.
Toby makes a silly big deal over a penny. I was actually hoping they would make it a silly Chekhov's gun later on. But no, it’s just Toby being loud and comedic relief.
The titans are released and we visit a very pregnant Steve. Ok so it’s a rushed kind of thing. ok.
Aja suggests evacuation. You can say it’s out of character but we need context. When Aja helped in the Doomsday Battle, she was ensured a way out but if she let the people of Arcadia perish. She decided to stay and help. But now the Trollhunter himself can’t help. So to ensure the survival of everyone, evacuation. A best chance for everyone to survive. Plus she is now a Queen. She rules over a whole planet which must change her thinking.
Now our characters are split into 3 teams:
Blinky, Archie, Archie’s dad and Claire for the Krohnisfere.
Jim, Aja, Toby, Strickler and Barbara for the Glacial Titan.
Nomura, Douxie and Aarrgh for the Earth Titan.
Now here is where I have problems. WHY. DID. THEY. SEND. TROLLS. TO. BRAZIL. IN. THE. DAY. Nomura dying was just so out of pocket. Unnecessary. I couldn’t even grieve properly I didn’t have a chance to process. The best thought I could think was “At least she’s with Draal now.” 10 seconds later, Strickler makes the choice to sacrifice himself. Because of Jim’s heroic’s, Strickler decided to try to save the most important people in his life. The person who was always dishonest finally had a chance to live a happy life with his family. The one who played it safe now had to make the final impulsive move. And unfortunately, his death was in vain. These deaths were just so forced. It wasn’t in any way good. And Strickler being one of the best written characters just going in such a way was just off. He died for nothing. He could have turned back and fought another battle but... no.
(BTW Barbara was just there... for Strickler’s death.)
We move to Babara and Jim having a heart to heart. I’m glad she didn’t blame Jim but a small moment of anger. Something a little more real for me but no I guess. Barbara will always just be Jim’s mom. She mention’s Jim’s father and it passed so quickly I missed it on my initial viewing. I’m happy that Jim’s father is never revealed or made a bigger part in his story. This is good representation for those of us who did have our fathers walk out on us. That we can grow despite our parents failing us.
And finally team Krohnisfere. Archie just leaves. He’s gone. Poor Douxie. A mentor and now his closest companion.
Our heroes meet up to go against the Volcanic Titan. In comes Varvatos Vex on a Gun Robot. Nice to see some good ol Gundam with a character mentioned throughout the entire trilogy. However it doesn’t last. BTW for the sake of survival, Aja leaves Jim and Toby. Iffy.
Douxie pulls a “Jason stop. This isn’t you.” thing with Nari and is reunited with his friend.(+ points for the shippers. It’s kinda winning me over?) Also, Claire now has the power to teleport a Titan. I know she’s much stronger than she was for the Trollhunters Sn 2 finale, but cmon. You can’t just say she’s out of magic juice and then pull this. C’mon.
(btw did the titan make a War of the Worlds tripod sound? No? Just me?)
Nari sacrifices herself and takes the other god with her. Which takes away Douxie’s other companion. Mr. Stark I don’t feel so good. Why does this movie hate Douxie so much. (I am so sorry shippers. Angst.)
BLINKY DIDN’T SEE A PAGE? ADDRESSING IT IN THE SHOW DOESN’T GIVE YOU A PASS. I forgot the word but this irony isn’t greatttt.
Jim now has to pull out the legendary sword Excalibur. But he can’t cuz he hasn’t harnessed the power of friendship.
And Steve is giving birth. At the worst time. What is this a zombie movie??? C’mon.
Jim says “Magic is friendship” And Stu is finally being used for one grand act. Seriously Stu is just so unappreciated. So he fixes the amulet with magic.
Basically everyone who went on top of the Volcanic titan falls off at some point. Except Jim cuz of course some 1v1.
ONCE AGAIN Claire is out of magic juice. Because... reasons.
Toby makes the choice to race to Jim’s side with the technology to cancel out magic. (Wait how does science stop magic again)
BTW, For the Good of all doesn’t hit as well BUT it’s not mentioning any glory towards stinky Merlin so I am happy with the change.
JIM HAS A NEW TRANSFORMATION. MY BOY. MY SON. I’M SO PROUD.
Toby races to Jim and his helmet falls off the taco truck. That honestly should have been a huge warning sign. I was worried he didn’t have armor but we know how this goes.
Jim defeats the final titan and everyone is happy. The fight is finally over.
STEVE HAS 7 KIDS. OUCH.
Seeing Jim run to Toby was heartbreaking. Now this is the one scene where the movie really let out actually process a character’s death. How on earth can you process your best friend, your most faithful companion dying. Jim goes through too much I swear to god.
Now let’s discuss the time travel plot. I honestly feel like they pulled some kind of Attack on Titan ending. The main character burdened with knowing the future and what could have been. And if everything is meant to be how it will be, destiny will reconnect them again. (Jlaire reincarnation AU???)
I’m actually ok with this ending. I understand people would want the time stone to return only a few minutes. But even then, the kiddos still have police records, so many people dead at the titan’s hands (or feet) and now the world knows about the existence of trolls thanks to the internet. In New York no less. And people are still dead.
We return the the beginning of everything, reflecting the “Unbecoming” episode.
(NGL I’m bothered that they didn’t do anything to stop Steve from bullying Eli, but Jim can’t do it. He’s saving it for Toby.)
And now finally, let’s discuss Toby becoming the Trollhunter. From the beginning, Toby never considered himself good enough to be the main star. Always the wingman, the 2nd best. Support. Now it was Toby’s turn to climb the ranks and be the Hero he’s always wanted to be. It’s Jim’s turn to live an easier high school life. I don’t doubt that he won’t follow Toby. But now he knows what to avoid and how to make the story process more smoothly.
I understand some are unsatisfied with this ending, which is kinda trademarked with Dreamwork’s shows. I get it. But honestly as of right now, I think I like the ending.
The amulet didn’t choose Jim because this Jim is not the same Jim as in Sn 1 Ep 1. He is a new man. And I think we all can agree that it’s his turn to be happy.
---
I still love this series so much. It is my favorite cartoon. Of course it has it’s flaws, but this ending is at least satisfactory and not heartbreaking. Now it’s up to us to either continue the story or contribute our ideas in fanfiction. I look forward to everyone’s creations.
Don’t think. Become.

Riverdale 5x03
Man, I found this episode hard. There were some poignant moments, but there were also a lot of moments that were frustrating as hell. My emotions are mixed. But mainly sad. Hold me.
It really says a lot about this show that despite setting aside a whole episode dedicated mostly to character building and relationships rather than plot, it still felt like the show bit off more than it could chew. So much felt rushed including Bughead’s breakup.
anyway, the positives first:
Varchie were beautiful in this episode, and I am so happy for my Varchie mutuals for the care put into developing them and giving them this kind of send off (esp. considering the mess of 4x17 and 4x18). I loved how Archie’s flashback of his life over the last three years was just 90% about Veronica and how much she means to him. It especially contrasts to the BA “flashbacks” from 4x17 l o l.
Archie spontaneously deciding to join the army and shipping out on an actual bus 24 hours later was so Archie and so Riverdale.  “Archie, there’s a war going on!” made me laugh out loud, IDK.
Veronica, Betty, and Jughead chasing Archie down in the jalopy to say goodbye was a sheer delight.
Betty Cooper: FBI trainee, default law enforcement officer, yearbook editor, serial killer genes, daughter of the black hood, sister of notorious killer Charles Smith - ALSO class Valedictorian! (Can u still be class Valedictorian if you were once suspended for cheating on a Quiz Show? Riverdale High says ‘yes.’) Good for u, B. Coop.
yessssss at Hiram Lodge being forced to put Sheriff Keller back into a job to arrest those kids hiding out at Archie’s boxing studio (and Archie didn’t notice that these youth were squatting there for months ?????? lmao). I KNEW RIVERDALE DID NOT HAVE A SHERIFF THESE LAST FEW EPISODES. Truly the lawless hellhole we have come to know and love.
Jughead staying in the Andrews’ home while it was put on the market to be sold was hilarious to me. I know it was supposed to be sad - and it was - but ALSO, can you imagine perspective buyers coming into the house only to find that there is a homeless person camping out in there without furniture or electricity or heat? “Why is there a rolled up sleeping bag in the corner?” “Is that a typewriter on the floor?” “Did I just step into an old can of soup?” JUGHEAD, MAN. They probably had to turn off the electricity and heat to save money because he was single-handedly keeping the house from selling.
It was very sad that Jughead was the only one who showed up at Pop’s a year later (and then sees a blonde girl come in and immediately his eyes light up because Betty before the disappointment o m g, murder me), but also a surprisingly relatable moment? I barely remember my own high school graduation, but I do remember that my high school friends felt like everything to me at the time, and I have since fallen out of touch with, uh, all of them. Life happens.
The stuff that was meh:
In theory, I am not opposed to the idea that Jellybean became the auteur/voyeur because she felt neglected and wanted attention, but it still feels like Jellybean is only about 25% of a character. Like, we heard a lot of other people (mostly FP and Jughead) tell us about JB’s motivations, but did JB have a single speaking line in this episode where she actually got to express to anyone what she was thinking and feeling? ugh.
I don’t care about Falice, but ????? @ FP’s solution to fix JB. So... taking her back... to her drug dealing mother who did not even show up for her own son’s funeral.... is better than a child therapist? Fine.
Nobody seemed to have any lingering reactions or trauma to Charles being a serial killer?? Like what. Is he even in jail? Or did Betty just let him go? This is actually quite inconvenient for me from a fic-writing perspective. Nobody is a better deux ex machina when Betty or Jughead need something in fic - just call their brother Charles who works for the FBI! I guess that’s done now.
I did feel for Alice, and Alice is not a character I usually feel for because she is the worst. But her husband and eldest son ended up being serial killers, Polly is in an insane asylum, the twins have disappeared from planet earth, and now FP is leaving her. Damn. That is a lot.
So did Choni breakup? It literally happened so fast with so little emotional fallout. Whatever, I don’t care about Choni.
The Beronica and Jarchie scenes were so rushed and forced. I just don’t get this storyline, y’all. What was the point of doing what they did with Betty and Archie in 4x17 and 4x18? Was it simply to break up our two main couples? Veronica and Jughead should have each had the time and space to be angry with their BFFs over what happened (because as crazy as this town is, it is still a massive betrayal) but instead they were both like: “NAH IT’S COOL SHIT HAPPENS LET’S HUG IT OUT.” It didn’t feel earned. I feel like RAS & Co. wanted the immediate drama of the ~kiss but also wanted to have this touching, Core 4 friendship moment before scattering them. What was the point. (I KNOW, I KNOW, ‘IT’S RIVERDALE’ but these characters matter to me ok and I want to understand where they are coming from.)
Bughead
This episode was... very hard. There were some cute moments, but the breakup felt so rushed and... empty? For the most part, we still have no idea where Betty’s head has been since 4x18. Presumably, she has been wracked by guilt, but terrified of telling Jughead the truth in case she ended up losing him (which, it turned out, was exactly what happened).
The scene in their bedroom where she tells him and they kiss desperately was a beautiful scene and the acting from both was oof. But I feel cheated that we did not actually get to see them talk about “us” as Jughead suggested. So did that conversation happen or not? And then to be told in a voiceover and montage that they grew apart in the space of about 45 seconds.... it was all very empty, and painful. I just.... :( :( :(
I guess we are supposed to assume that Betty and Archie’s kiss created this chasm between them that they were unable to talk about or address head on. But it was so rushed, very “tell not show.”
anyway, this stupid show has made me sad. I AM SAD. My heart is :( @ the unspoken hurt between them that they won’t talk about for seven years. And this show is never going to address the hurt between them in a realistic or satisfying way because it is Riverdale. Usually I would immediately reach to fic to get out my feelings, but in this case, I feel more like hiding in my zombie AU then dealing with how sad this all is lol. Is that insane? That’s what Riverdale does to us. I take heart in the fact that I am not alone in my madness.

Riverdale//eyes bright, uptight, just girls
Request: Riverdale imagine the reader older sister who is a senior and is throwing a party and stuff and the reader parents want her to date this guy who she knows is no good and the reader doesn't want a boyfriend yet but her dad wants her to date the guy and stuff like that to call him son one day and stuff and the reader and her parents argue in the kitchen and the guy is trying to force her to and her older sister won't help at all and is being smug. U can think of an ending after that w. the core 4.
hey! trigger warning: parents not listening and a bitch of a sister, as well as a very rude boy. please don’t read if you think this may upset or trigger you.
Parties have never really been your thing. They’re more more Sarah’s, if she isn’t attending one she’s throwing one, no matter if you’re parents have said she can or not. And because she’s the favourite, she always gets away with it and you’re stuck cleaning up.
You think maybe it’s because your parents are big on parties, not high school ones, but just in general. They like any excuse to show off their perfect family and their perfect house and to parade you around their friends like show dogs. It’s their way of telling their friends that they’re better off than they are.
Tonight however, it seems that luck isn’t on your sisters side. Because as soon as your parents walk through the front door, three days too early and are greeted with drunk kids spilling sticky beer all over the custom made rug, she is already scrambling to come up with an excuse as to why there are well over 150 teenagers all trying tarnish the family home.
You watch Sarah practically jump over a sofa to stop them from walking in any further and the lively party soon dies as everyone watches Sarah and your parents have a staring competition. Sarah may have the edge because of how wide her eyes are.
“Hiii, mom...dad.” She gulps and kicks a plastic cup underneath the sofa...as if that’s gonna convince them that the hasn’t invited most of the teenagers in Riverdale and let them run riot through the house.
You and Betty share a look and you feel her shuffle closer to you.
Despite it being your house, you still had to fight for a place on the couch, and when Betty turned up looking just as pleased as you were to be there, you gladly made a space for her.
Betty had stayed by your side for the majority of the night, only getting up to get both of you drinks. She knows how much you hate parties, at least ones where your sisters in attendance which is most of them, and the two of you usually spend the night gossiping about the very large friendship group your sister has amassed.
You watch your mom look around the living room and with each piece of beer stained furniture she see’s, her face falls more and more.
“Kitchen.” She stares straight at Sarah before pushing past her.
“Now.” Your dad adds before following his wife.
Sarah follows your mom and dad into the kitchen, her head hung low as she shuffles through the crowd. They part for her, patting her shoulder and giving her sympathetic looks before the three of them disappear through the door.
As soon as the kitchen door closes, the front one opens and the party spills out into the street. Drunk kids stumble back home, some laugh and some cry. Some stand at the bottom of the yard and puke while their friends rub their backs. A few of them have already passed out the grass in front of your house and you know as soon as your dads finished letting Sarah get away with murder, he’ll be turning the sprinklers on in order to get them to leave.
Betty has already started to collect the rubbish strewn around her feet and you unenthusiastically join. The two of you don’t have to say anything, you’re always there to help the other clean up after yours sisters mess. Veronica and Archie soon join in and for a few minutes it’s actually surprisingly fun.
There’s just you and your friends. Archie’s throwing rubbish at Veronica making her squeal and run away while you and Betty watch on in amusement. But every good thing has to come to an end and you hear the kitchen door creak before your dad’s head pops out around it.
“Y/n, can you come here for a minute please.” He calls.
Betty grabs the rubbish you’ve collected and sends you a reassuring smile. You let out a loud sigh before accepting your fate and pushing the door open.
Betty joins Veronica and Archie, all three of them watch the door swing a few times before shutting properly and they share a look.
“Sarah’s an ass.” Archie mumbles and the two girls nod in agreement.
When you walk through the door, the room falls silent, and you feel the eyes of your entire family on you, watching you as you slowly walk towards them.
Your mom rubs the side of her head, the migraine that made them come home early in the first place get stronger. And your dad rubs a hand over his face as he tries to figure out what to do and who to blame.
“I told you, I did all of this so Y/n and Ben could get to know each other a bit better.” Sarah argues and your eyes widen.
“What? I didn’t even know Ben was here.” You send her a glare and your parents look between the two of you.
“Aw, that’s disappointing.” Somebody says behind you and you feel your skin crawl. Your shoulders hunch slightly and you swallow the lump in your throat before turning around and facing the green eyed boy. “Because I certainly noticed you.” He whispers and you have to stop yourself from puking.
Ben.
Ben Anderson and his family are well known around Riverdale. Similar to the Blossom’s they’re crazy rich, crazy powerful and well versed in the world of criminal activity. At one point they owned half the town, but they’re slowly selling it off to private investors for a profit so they can go after Greendale next.
His mom Sophia is ‘friends’ with basically everyone in town, however she is constantly bitching about them behind their back...including your own family. And it drives you mad to watch your mom bend over backwards in order to be invited into her very exclusive book club.
And his dad, William is basically a carbon copy of your own. Business focused and a little bit absent. You only ever see William at parties, you’ve never once bumped into him at the grocery store which is very difficult to do in a town this small.
But despite all their suspected crimes, Ben is by far the worst.
Benjamin Alexander Anderson is the worst boy you have ever met. But for some reason he’s everybody’s favourite. He’s snobby, pretentious, creepy and a bully. But Sarah and her friends love him. And for some reason your parents also love him. It seems sometimes they love him more than they love you.
It’s not uncommon for you to come home from hanging out with your friends and for him to be already sat at the dining room table with a grin too wide for his face while your parents motion for you to sit beside him.
And thanks to Sarah constantly telling them how good it would be for the family if you and him were to get together, he seems to be around an awful lot more recently.
‘think of the family’
‘think of your future’
‘think of how good it would look for us to be able to call an Anderson son one day and welcome him into the family.’
“I knew she wouldn’t agree to a date with him so I thought if I threw a party they could get to know each other a bit better in more of a natural environment. It’s just word got out and more and more people turned up and I couldn’t get them to leave. Nobody ever listens to me.” She says, her tone turning sickly sweet as she stares at your mom doe-eyed.
Your mom sighs and her expression softens before she looks at her husband. Your dad looks between you, Sarah and Ben before also sighing.
“Great.” You mutter. Another one won by Sarah.
She sends you a sly smile and you glare in return but you’re soon interrupted by your dad coughing and the two of you turn your attention back to him.
“Y/n.” He starts and by the tone of his voice you already know where this is going. This is his lecture tone, the one he uses when he’s trying to convince you that he’s helping but instead he actually just wants to help himself. “Why don’t you give Ben a chance. You could do a lot worse.”
“Because I don’t want to. For the millionth time I don’t and I never will like him. I would genuinely rather stick a fork in a plug socket, be resuscitated and do it over and over again until I died a painful death, than spend more than two minutes with him.”
“Y/n!” Your mom scolds.
“Ouch.” Ben huffs and you send him a sarcastic smile.
“Why can’t you just be more like your sister?”
“What? And date anyone that gives her a hint of attention?”
“Y/n!” Your dad shouts.
“Mom!” Sarah practically screams. “Are you actually gonna let her talk to me like that.”
“Calm down Sarah. Y/n, apologise to your sister.”
“No.”
“Y/n.” Your mom hisses and you huff at her loudly.
“Fine...I’m sorry.” You say through gritted teeth. “Can I go to bed now?”
“Not until we sort this out.” Your dad says.
“I don’t and I never will want to date him.”
“Come on. One date isn’t going to hurt. You never know, you actually might like me.” Ben says, and the smirk grows on his face as he sends you wink.
“That’s very, very, very unlikely.” You deadpan and your mom tuts behind you.
“Y/n, that’s rude.”
“What’s rude is you trying to set me up with an asshole. I’ve told you before I don’t want a boyfriend. I’m only 17 and I have far more important things to focus on other than boys. So please just drop it.” You shout.
“We just want what’s best for you.” Your mom pleads and you send a look to Sarah.
She could stop all of this. She knows she could. She could convince them to think otherwise and they would. They’d drop it and you’d be able to go back to only mildly hating your family.
But that’s not how Sarah works and so instead she just shrugs before sharing a smile with Ben.
“No, you want what’s best for you.”
“Y/n Y/l/n!”
The kitchen door swings open and Veronica, followed awkwardly by Betty and Archie walk through it. Your mom opens her mouth, ready to argue some more but Veronica quickly interrupts before she can say anything rude.
“Mr and Mrs Y/l/n. Has my dad told you about the latest deal he’s made?” Veronica cuts in. A bright smile on her face as she steps between you and your parents. Instantly your dad shuts up and his eyes lighten up as he and Veronica talk about the next dodgy dealing that Hiram Lodge is involved in.
You let out a breath of relief, and send a grateful smile towards Betty and Archie, who now both look a little more confident in their abilities to deescalate the situation.
Archie directs his attention to Sarah and and Ben, both of whom looked like they’ve sucked on a lemon as they watch Veronica gracefully change the subject and bring your mom into her business conversation.
“I think your brother’s waiting for you outside.” Archie tells Ben. “And if I were you, I’d leave with them.” His voice low as he takes a step towards him. Ben looks at Sarah, and then you before lastly at you parents. Sarah’s expression hardens as she shrugs at him and starts picking at her nails.
You, Betty and Archie watch him leave, mumbling quietly under his breath, before Betty turns he attention to Sarah.
“Hi Sarah!” Her tone seems happy, and if you didn’t know her you’d think that she was genuinely greeting a friend. However there’s something lurking just behind her eyes that seems more sinister and for the first time in a long time, Sarah actually seems a little scared. “Remember I’ve known you for a long time, and I know a few things that your mom wouldn’t be too pleased to find out. So why don’t you leave Y/n alone and I won’t tell anyone that you slept wit-”
“Fine.” She says through gritted teeth. “Goodnight.” She says quickly before rushing out.
“Hey, is it okay for Y/n to stay at mine tonight. My mom’s been asking about her for forever.” Veronica asks and your dad nods quickly. “Great! Y/n, let’s pack a bag.” She says before pushing you out of the door. Betty and Archie follow the two of you up the stairs, whispering to each other as they go.
You notice Sarah standing outside of her door but she disappears as you pass and a weight lifts off your shoulders.
“Thanks guys.” You smile at your friends, happy to be in the comfort of you own room. “Betty? Who did Sarah sleep with?”
“Oh, I have no idea. I just guessed that she’s done it with someone she shouldn’t have and I suppose I was right.” She grins making you laugh. “Now come on, let’s go sneak Archie into Veronica’s so we can all have a proper sleepover.”
“It’s definitely not the first time she’s snuck him into her room.”
“Shut up!” Veronica laughs and throws a pair of socks at you. “Why don’t we invite Jughead? Where is he?”
“Do you honestly believe you’d see Jughead at a party, let alone a sleepover? He’s too busy writing or something.” Betty replies.
“Yeah, but Veronica has a lot of spare rooms.” You wiggle your eyebrows and she pulls a face.
“Come on!” She huffs, pushing you gently. Archie dumps a load of clothes in your bag and quickly zips it up before throwing at you. You’ve never left your house quicker before, and as the four of you make your way down the street, Betty making a list of snacks to buy and Archie trying to convince Jughead to join you, you feel yourself smile properly for the first time in a long time.

Arcturus/Melania for a prompt?
April 3rd, 1923
Arcturus Black scowled at the sight before him.
There were dozens of them—from Hogwarts students who'd barely finished their O.W.L.'s to the despaired over daughters yet unwed and rapidly approaching the number deemed the end of an unattached pureblood woman's use (30), All the available pureblood girls (along with some rather bold, uppity half-bloods) were currently flooding the ballroom at Noire House, each about as desirable as the option that came before them.
As always, thoughts of Cedrella made his lip curl even further.
The sound of Abraxas's hiss of distaste brought the young heir to the House of Black out of what his sister would call his sulking, and he pinned down the young Malfoy heir with a questioning gaze.
"Wilhemina Selwyn is wearing the most ghastly gown I've ever seen in my life," He uttered, shuddering theatrically.
"It's not the dress that's at fault," came the smirking voice of Alexander Rowle. "It's the fact that it shows off those repugnant, veiny arms of hers."
"The gown, the veins—I care not, I'm blaming whatever's remotely involved with forcing me to witness that."
"Boys!"
Arcturus turned his head languidly at the unmistakeably deep voice of his younger brother Regulus—that somehow he still managed to make sound effeminate—and gave his brother a curt nod that the younger Black could glean the meaning off a mile away.
Arcturus was having a miserable time.
"Well, don't tell me you've started without me."
"We would never dare," Abraxas raised his glass, mockingly. "What fun is the game without the best player?"
‘The game’ being the snide comments each of them delighted in making about all the other party guests.
"Now, Archie—I know when my older brother's in a snit," Regulus smiled to himself at the eye-roll this elicited from his brother, then theatrically lowered his voice. "Tell me, which of them was it and where did they touch you?"
Arcturus's face turned bright red while Malfoy and Rowle tried—poorly—to hide their sniggers behind their goblets.
"Careful with your brother, Black," Rowle said, stamping down the last vestiges of his laughter. "The Macmillans pounced on him with their eldest twenty minutes ago and he's been in a state since."
Regulus furrowed his brow and scrunched up his nose in distaste. "Mildred Macmillan? Oh, Archie, you poor dear. Thoroughly repellant woman."
Arcturus huffed in agreement. "Too lippy by half."
"Believe me when I say I share in your misery, Arcturus." Regulus took a light sip from his sidecar. "The Crabbes just downright assaulted me with that Aligherian creature they call a daughter."
Abraxas snorted. "Aren't they speaking with your uncle about Pollux?"
"Yes, but why settle for the third-in-line when you can get the second?" He shrugged, perfectly flippant in that way only Regulus could be. "Not that it makes any difference for them, I'm afraid. Irma isn’t to my taste, ghastly personality aside.”
The others shifted their feet uncomfortably while Arcturus ground his teeth to dust. Regulus's...preferences were bad enough, but to have it alluded to in such a way! Still, Regulus' unflappable manner and his overly sharp tongue—owed to a childhood of reading everything there was in the library—tended to amuse the pureblood men in their set enough to engender a tentative kinship. If nothing else, he was a novelty—and, above all else, a Black.
"Either way, I'd still say my evening has been less miserable than yours, Arcturus. After all, you were the one this whole soireé was thrown for."
Arcturus grimaced. "I haven't forgotten. I can hardly go to the restroom without being accosted by some impudent hoyden with designs above her station. That little jape you made wasn't too far off, I'll have you know."
Regulus laughed, gaily. "I trust nothing as bad as your Hogwarts Graduation party happened yet, has it?"
Arcturus grimaced at the memory of a very drunk, very indecent Caroline Greengrass hiding underneath his bedsheets in some pie-eyed notion to make herself Mrs. Black.
"No, Thank God. Aside from the Fawleys practically throwing their plain daughter at me."
"Eugenie?" Alexander scoffed. "Quiet as a mouse and about as attractive as one to boot."
"What do you expect?" Malfoy scoffed. "She is a Fawley after all—no wonder they decided to send that sister of hers to France. Those debauched cheesemongers will take anything as long as it's got legs."
"Regardless," Arcturus said, over Rowle's chuckling and Regulus's poorly hidden laugh. "I will need to pick one by the end of the night. Won't do for my uncle to waste all this gold for nothing."
"Oh, be still my beating heart," Regulus quipped.
"What do you want from me, Regulus?" Arcturus asked, patience worn thinner than his Uncle Cygnus's hair. "This is a cattle show with ballgowns, nothing more."
Regulus lifted up his hands in mock surrender. "Down, Archie. It's only a jape—you're no fun at all tonight. Normally we all have a delightful time bullying these unfortunates and you're stewing like a...stew? Bah, I can't think of anything clever to say anymore, this sidecar really does pack a punch."
The MacMillans appeared to have caught sight of him if the matriarch—a Goyle from a secondary branch that was far too ambitious for her own good—pointing wildly in Arcturus's direction to her long-suffering husband was any sign.
"If you'll excuse me—I need to leave before that woman tears me to pieces."
Without another word in his companions' direction, he bolted from the pillar they had been hiding behind for the last half-hour, and left through the first open door for the gardens he could find. Thankfully, Arcturus neither saw nor heard any witches or wizards upon his arrival outside, and he breathed out a sigh of immense relief.
He stayed there a few seconds, fixed to the marble flooring as if it were some rendezvous point, then shook off any odd feelings and set about a brisk walk around the gardens to gather his bearings.
As always, however, God had not seen fit to make his dreadful day any easier and after a few minutes of nothing but blessed solitude, he saw a petite girl at the entrance of the greenhouse.
Arcturus frowned. Brown hair, brown eyes—similar enough in looks but less beautiful than her elder sister. Yes, it was most certainly the younger Macmillan girl—she was in Regulus’s year, if he recalled correctly.
As if he hadn’t had enough of that lot today.
“Miss Macmillan, is it?”
The slip of a girl jumped, letting out a slight yelp in surprise.
“Oh, my—Mr—Sir, I, forgive me, I was only—“
“Settle down, Miss Macmillan. I mean no harm.” Arcturus walked toward her, grateful that she seemed to calm slightly at his approach. He had no patience for dealing with a ditzy, skittish schoolgirl tonight on top of everything else.
“Arcturus Black,” He nodded at her, rather less curt than he usually did, much to his own confusion. “We met earlier, I believe.”
“Yes, of course, Mr. Black. What an unexpected pleasure.”
He snorted lightly, but didn’t comment. “Have you an interest in botany?” He nodded toward the venomous tentacula plant she’d been studying before his entrance.
The girl nodded, enthusiastic. “Herbology is my best subject at Hogwarts. We haven’t taken our N.E.W.T.’s yet, but I’m sure I’ll do well.”
“Seventh year?”
The girl nodded once, tucking an errant brown curl that had slipped out of her pinned updo behind her ear.
“The last year tends to be more...difficult for some,” Arcturus said, in an attempt at conversation—not that he knew how it felt for those who were sentimental about leaving hogwarts.
The headmaster during his own years there was his very own grandfather, after all.
She seemed to hesitate, biting her lip lightly. Looking at her in this light, he thought perhaps his judgement of her beauty was rather unfair—she wasn’t as pretty as her sister, but she was the farthest thing from plain. “It’s hard to believe it’s all over in three months. I’m rather glad I have more time to garden, however. Aside from Herbology, school was never much of an interest for me. I’ll leave all those books to my husband when I marry, I’m sure.” Arcturus nodded in approval at that, the beginnings of an idea forming in his mind. “And you?”
He gave her a dry look. “I’m afraid the only thing I know about plants is how to kill them.”
She smiled shyly at the jest, and bizarrely he found himself returning it. “I’m sure you’re not as bad as all that. I hear you’ve an interest in horseflesh—one needs to be somewhat proficient in herbology if they intend to keep their horses in good health.”
Arcturus blinked, rendered mute upon the first thoughtful words he’d heard anyone say all evening. “Quite,” he nodded. “Are you knowledgeable in horseflesh, Miss?”
“I’d like to think so,” She said, fiddling with her gloves. “My grandfather keeps a stable at our house in Kintyre. I’ve been riding them since I was seven.”
“Side-saddle?” Arcturus asked, probingly.
She looked slightly offended. “Of course, Mr. Black—I could hardly ride astride, it’s unseemly for a woman.”
Arcturus felt a feline grin make its way onto his face. “I quite agree, I hope I didn’t cause any offence. Please, call me Arcturus.”
She blinked, then had the grace to blush—as if his choice hadn’t already been made obvious to him, that only solidified it further. “Of course, Arcturus, none was taken. You may call me Melania, then—or Melly, if it pleases you—that’s what everyone calls me,” she supplied, holding out her hand almost hesitatingly. Arcturus, just as all pureblood men were taught, dropped a kiss to the back of it, keeping eye contact all the way through.
Modest? Demure? Beautiful, but not so much it made her unbearably impudent and overly entitled?
The only downside was having that Goyle harpy as a mother-in-law. Then again, if all the men in his family had taught him anything, it’s that every man hates his mother-in-law. Either way, at least this dreadful affair could finally come to an end—as well as the incessant stream of grasping trollops his bachelorhood brought with it.
Silver linings and all that.

Kiss Me | Hisirdoux Casperan
Plot:  A fight between Douxie and the reader attracts some unwanted attention, and the only way out is to kiss.  At least in your opinion.  [Hisirdoux Casperan x Gender Neutral! Rival!Rreader]
Word count:  1,734
Warnings:  fighting, rivalry, tension (owo),  a lil’ spicy (bc rivals to lovers, so you know how that goes), swearing
A/N: I used some dialogue prompts from the blogs corvidprompts and dialogue-prompts because witty banter is hard to write
Tumblr media
Magic was weird.
It was colourful and glowy, and it lit up the night.  Magic was super pretty, but also super noticeable, and that made it really hard to fight your arch-rival in the dark of the night without anyone noticing.  That didn’t mean you weren’t going to try.
And try you did!  With a blast of blue light, your back collided with a tree, ripping the breath from your lungs.
“Oh, come on Casperan,” you wheezed, “I know you can do better than that,” you paused again to violently cough, supporting yourself with the tree you had hit.  The tree was loose.
“Seriously (L/N)?” Hisirdoux emerged from the tree line, “Now is not the time for witty banter,”
“This isn’t banter, it’s flirting.  Now keep still, it’s harder to hit you when you move around like that,”
He groaned as you steadied your hands, taking aim at the wizard.  He did the same.  The two of you moved against each other in sync, letting your magic fly towards your opponent.  Red and blue collided in the air, illuminating the night sky with a purple glow for the briefest of moments.  Your hits landed, and you were both blown back.
“Ugh,” you groaned, making your way up from the ground, “You… suck,”
“Oh, what, no more witty banter, darling?”
“Ok, you know what?  Fuck you, fuck this, when I’m done kicking your ass I’m going out and buying white flowy shirts and tight pants and we’re doing this like proper rivals!  You wanna insult me?  SEND ME A LETTER,”
“You talk too much,”
“Shut up,”
Red magic threw him back this time, you ran to his body, eager to kick him while he was down.  And you did.  He groaned, “Ugh, harder dadd-”
“Jesus, Casperan, you could at least buy me dinner first,”
“Cheeky,” he laughed out.  You allowed him to rise from the ground, getting yourself into a combative position.
“You’re so strange, you know that,”
“Yeah, I’m not the only one,”
You ran at him, throwing punches and spells in his direction.  Red and blue mixed, turning the world around you purple.  Eventually, it was enough to knock him onto his back.  Unfortunately, he took you with him.
You also landed unfortunately, straddling his lap, “Like I said emo boy,” you exhaled, “Dinner first,”
He made a noise between a groan and a screech, flipping you onto your back and jumping off of you, “Bold of you to assume I could afford that,”
“Oh god, do they not tip in this town?”
“Nope,”
“Oh, honey, I’m sorry,”  you let your guard down for a moment, relating to the hell of retail all too well.  Douxie, of course, used this against you, taking your legs out with his staff.
“Ahhh, ow.  That hurt, you bastard,”
He sighed, kneeling next to you, “You know we could avoid this if you just did as I asked,”
“Never gonna happen,”  You sprung up, grabbing his shoulders and pulling him to the ground.
“I will smite you,”
“Yeah, yeah,” you said, struggling to your feet, “You couldn’t smite a paper towel if it set itself on fire.  Get some perspective,”
You threw another spell at him, the red light threw him back a few feet.  He crawled to his knees.
“Awwe, Doux you’re on your knees in front of me.  Looks like you’ve really hit rock bottom,”
“It might, but I’ve brought a shovel and I’m ready to dig!”
“You really didn’t understand what I meant,”
You lifted your fists, red light surrounded them, Douxie did the same, still on his knees.  His frame was illuminated with blue light.
“I should’ve left you on the street corner where I found you,” he said, preparing to curse you. “BUT YA DIDN’T,”  you wasted no time, springing at him from your spot.  This time it was Douxie who hit a tree.
“C’mon now Doux,” you stalked over to the wizard, “Why do you hate me so much?  Is it really you?  Or did Merlin tell you I was a big bad bad influence and you instantly believed him?”
Douxie growled,  “That’s enough.  Get out of Arcadia (L/N),”
“Awe, but I was just starting to like it here,” you smirked, “Just tell me,” you dragged out the last word,  “Why do you want me gone so badly?”
“Because you’re a threat!”  the wizard sprung up and threw a spell your way.  It just missed you, but there was no time to celebrate.   Another curse was headed your way,
“You have no morals!  You don’t care about anyone but yourself!”  Douxie’s magic shot out at you.  With each spell, his control lessened, the blue light becoming more and more chaotic, and more and more of a threat.
You too were losing control of the situation, and now you were struggling to regain it, mostly through banter.
“That’s not true!  I care about my dog,”  Your response only enraged the wizard further, making the situation worse.  More spells came your way.  You did the only thing you could and kept dodging, backing up and away from Douxie, who advanced on you.  It was becoming more and more clear that Merlin was not a card you should have played.
“You don’t take anything seriously!  You’re cruel and unusual, and,” Douxie stopped talking.  You took the moment to catch your breath, staring down your opponent.  Usually, the rivalry between you and the wizard was light-hearted, but the look in his eyes told another story.  Your heart sunk as you realized he might actually hate you.
The thought made you sick.  Did you even want to keep fighting if that was the case?
You didn’t.
So, when Douxie came at you, you did nothing.  You just stood there as he advanced, backing you into yet another tree and pining your arms above your head.  You gasped slightly, feeling your heartbeat pick up speed in your chest, the sound of it roared in your ears.  Could he hear that?   You hoped not.
He leaned closer to you, his lips beside your ear.  You pressed your eyes shut.  If he hated you, what came next?  This was a very strange way to kill someone.
“You’re cruel and unusual, and you keep distracting me,” “What!?”
“I said, you keep-”
“Sorry to interrupt,”  Archie’s voice nearly drew a scream from you, “But someone is coming!”
You took a moment to curse the light show that was magic before looking around.  You could see bushes moving nearby.  Someone was definitely headed your way.
“Shit,” you muttered.
“Archie, hide,”  Douxie’s familiar did as he asked while you pondered what the hell to do next.  If anyone found you and Douxie in this position it would raise a lot of questions.  There was only one thing you could think to do.  It would also raise questions, but hopefully, there would be fewer of them because there were no other options.
“Kiss me,”
“What?”
There was no time.  Whoever it was was only moments from finding the two of you.
So, you broke from the wizard’s hold, grabbing his face and bringing your lips to his.  The kiss was soft.  His body was warm.  Your eyelids fluttered closed as you moved a hand from his face to the back of his neck.  His hands moved too, finding their way to the small of your back, pulling you closer to him.
The two of you moved in perfect sync as if the universe had made you for each other.  The kiss became more passionate, stealing your breath and making your heartbeat even faster than before.  Sparks ran through your body, demanding more, more what you didn’t know.  Every nerve was on fire.  Your body burned like an ember smouldering in the night.
Unfortunately, you couldn’t focus all of your being into the kiss, as much as you wished you could.  You stated alert, listening for whoever had come to investigate the bright lights in the forest.  You said a little thank you to the gods when the person missed you entirely and disappeared back into the trees.
And then you cursed them because that meant you had to separate yourself from Douxie.
Your lips came apart, leaving both of you breathing heavily.  You shut your eyes again and brought your forehead to rest on his chest.  He didn’t let go of you.  If anything, he only brought you closer to him, burying his face in your hair.
“So,”
“So,”
You looked up at him, “That was nice,”
“It was totally nuclear,”
You smiled slightly, before moving your hands from his neck to encircle his waist, “I’m sorry.  For what I said about Merlin, I’m sorry,”
“I’m sorry too, love.  For everything, all of this.  I-I didn’t mean-”
“I know,”
“And I know you care about the world outside of you, and your dog and-”
“Douxie?”
“Yeah?”
“Just shut your mouth and kiss me again,”
The wizard did what you told him.  This time, you let yourself melt into it.
The kiss was too short in your opinion, but you had more questions, “So, I guess you don’t hate me, huh?”
“(Y/N), darling, I could never hate you.  I think you’re amazing.  You’re so strong, and fearless, and you’re one of the most skilled magic users I’ve ever met.  You distract me because you’re just so-”
“Beautiful,” you cut him off, not talking about yourself, but rather to yourself about Douxie.
“Yeah, that,”
You kissed again, this time, the length was more satisfactory.
“So, what do we do now?”
“I still wanna go to dinner sometime.  And I’m getting the bill because the tips in this town suck,”
“I-”
“No, seriously, I got it.  I invested in Apple back in the day,”
“You’re brilliant,”
“Thanks, I know,”
The two of you shared a smile, reveling in the moment until a small cough came from one of the bushes.
“Oh, yeah, hey Arch,”
“Hi, Douxie.  (Y/N),”
“Hey Archie, how are you?”
“I’m just fine, but right now Douxie and I need to get back into town.  The bookstore won’t guard itself,”
“It literally will with warding, but ok,”
“Go home with your familiar emo boy, your bookstore needs you,”
“What about you?”
“Don’t worry, I’ll be around.  I’ll pick you up sometime on Saturday for dinner?”
“Nuclear,”
You giggled again, pecking him on the lips one more time before letting him go.
“Goodnight. Casperan,”
“Goodnight, (L/N),”

How Can “IT” Love a Human? Finale
Pt. 1
Pt. 2
Pt. 3
At the private airport, Scarlet got out of the taxi and walked into the waiting room for her private jet plane to land. Scarlet took out her family photo from when Kandy was being held by her big brother. Scarlet never have forgotten when Pennywise shouted ‘Fat Chubbies’. When she made a chuckle, she started to cough worse than before. “Ma’am, are you feeling alright?” asked the attendant. Scarlet nodded as she’s saying that she’s fine. “I’ll be fine... What time is it?” Scarlet asked. “It is... 9:49 pm,” the attendant answered.
***
Meanwhile, Cassandra was driving Pennywise and the kids to the airport after giving her some threaten-like persuasion. “If what you’re telling me is true, I really hope we make it...” Cassandra said to Pennywise as she was concentrating on the road. Just then, the train came by and had no choice but to stop. “What the hell are you doing?” Pennywise asked. “There’s a train you dope! I can’t past a train.” Cassandra scolded.
It was 9:55, and he knew that by the time the train leaves, they won’t make it in time. “Give me the wheel, I can get us to the airport.” Pennywise offered. “No freakin’ way... I don’t trust you.” Cassandra argued. “If you care so much about your cousin, you’d obey my request and give me the freakin’ WHEEL.” Pennywise said with red in his eyes. Cassandra had no choice but to let Pennywise drive. “Hang on kids, daddy’s driving...” Pennywise adjusted the mirrors and put on his nighttime shades and floored the speed pedal and drove off the road to beat the train. Cassandra was freaking out as she was regretting for letting Pennywise drive. Archie too was petrified, except for Kandy who was sleeping the whole time.
Pennywise drove neck to neck with the train and spotted the perfect spot to use as a ramp, but he had to drive past the train, so he adjusted the nozzle and hit the speed that was impossible for a corvette to handle but succeeded. As Cassandra and Archie screamed in fear with Kandy screaming with excitement after waking up from a commotion, Pennywise speeded up and made the leap before the train could crush them all. Pennywise looked back to see if his kids are alright. “You kids okay? When this whole nightmare is over, I’ll take you kids to McDonalds for a Kids Meal.” Pennywise said while patting Archie’s leg. Then he turned to Cassandra. “You want a Big Mac later, cuz-in-law?” Pennywise chuckled. Cassandra stared angrily at Pennywise as she was fixing her hair and adjusting her glasses.
***
When they finally made it to the private airport, Pennywise noticed a private jet was about to fly, so he leaped out of the car and ran after it, thinking that it was Scarlet’s plane flying away.
Tumblr media
“NOOO... STAR...” Pennywise shouted as the private jet flew away. Pennywise collapsed to the ground in grief.
Cassandra and the kids rushed over towards Pennywise as the kids wanted to comfort him. Cassandra noticed another private jet landed, so she checked the time on her watch. “Pennywise, that was the wrong plane; that was a 9:55 pm plane. Scarlet’s plane just landed.” Cassandra told Pennywise with excitement. Pennywise looked over and saw Scarlet walking over to the pilot.
Albert the pilot escorted Scarlet onto the plane, until she stopped, she couldn’t feel her pulses and is starting to lose clear vision. “Ms. Jones are you alright?” Scarlet then started to weaken and began to lose her balance. “STAR...” Pennywise rushed over to Aquarius at an impossible speed to catch her before she hits her head hard to the ground. Scarlet couldn’t see very well, but she can recognize the white face. “...Penny... What are you doing here?” Scarlet asked weakly.
“What do you think? I have Cassandra drive me and the kids to the airport to fetch you--”
“You never loved me though--”
“Just shut up and listen!!!”  Pennywise said in a stern tone. Scarlet decided to stop talking so she can let Pennywise speak. “To you you’re Scarlet... To me, you’re still Aquarius the Singing Clown, and you don’t have to be a clown to receive my affection... I know I said I can’t ever love you as a human, but that’s only because I don’t want to hurt you...” Scarlet started to cough hard before Pennywise could finish. “I still love you Penny... Both you and the kids... But I don’t think I can make it...” Scarlet said. “Yes you can; the only thing that can keep you alive is being with your family, and me and the kids are here for you... I love you Star.” Pennywise said as he saw Scarlet smiling weakly with tears in her eyes.
Pennywise gently kissed her by the lips for a long while. He thought that Aquarius will be alright after that... apparently... Star gave up her last breath after the kiss ended. “Star... STAR?” Pennywise said in shock. Cassandra crouched down to feel her pulse on her arm. “She’s... she’s gone...” Cassandra said as she teared up. Pennywise’s eyes were wide open after hearing the fact that Aquarius actually died. Pennywise screamed to the heavens and hell with a mix of ferocious animal noises. Pennywise held Aquarius against his chest while crying with his face pasted to her head. “Star... I’m so sorry... I’m so very sorry...” Pennywise whispered. normally his tears would float up, but this time, his tears dripped down onto her cheek.
After a while, Pennywise walked away with grief with Cassandra following him, leaving Archie and Kandy behind. Archie cling towards his mom while Kandy crawls out of her big brother’s backpack and crawled towards her mommy. “Momma...” Kandy said, as it was her very first word. With Kandy’s word being heard by Archie, they also heard another voice. “Did... Did Kandy just said her first word...” “MOMMY,” Kandy squealed with excitement. Not only did Scarlet came back to life, but she regained her clown form. Archie also cling to his mom with happy tears, as she was hugging both her kids with happy tears.
Aquarius noticed Pennywise standing back facing her while Cassandra tries to comfort him, as both of them were unaware of Aquarius being revived. She walked over to her husband and laid a hand on her husband’s shoulder. “Penny...” Pennywise turned quickly and saw the part-human and part demon clown girl he loved. Pennywise immediately grabbed hold of her and lifted her up in the air before kissing her hard. “I thought I lost you... How is that possible?” Pennywise asked while tearing up. “I don’t know... I was blackened out, until I’ve heard Kandy’s first word.” Aquarius answered. Pennywise turned towards his daughter and walked over and picked her up. “Didja just said your first word, Kandy?” Pennywise asked in a cute cooing sort of way. “Momma...” Kandy said as she extended her arms towards her mommy. Aquarius took her daughter into her arms and kissed her by the head while Archie was being picked up by his dad. “Dad, I think Kandy has discovered her secret power; the power of reviving...” Archie said. Pennywise chuckled before he hugged his son. “Kandy is still a baby, son; I think your mom coming back to life was a lucky coincidence.” Pennywise said to his son.
When Archie looked over at his baby sister, he could have sworn that he just saw Kandy smile with little fangs and made a wink at him. Archie realized that Kandy is a lot smarter than he thinks; however, no one is going to believe him, so he decided to leave it at that... Until next time perhaps.
***
The next morning, Aquarius was sleeping peacefully until she smelled something good. Pennywise came in, wearing his comical black waitress costume. “Penny, what the hell are you wearing!” Aquarius laughed. “I thought I just try on  a new look. So I thought I make you Bacon and Legs-- uh I mean-- Bacon and Eggs...” Pennywise chuckled awkwardly. Aquarius laughed at Pennywise’s performance and his word error; known to the fact that she usually cooks Pennywise some bacon and legs, which explains his word error. Pennywise’s eggs and bacon are a little imperfection, with the bacon kind of burnt and the eggs had a broken yoke... Just the way she likes them. “What made you want to do this for me?” Aquarius asked while eating her breakfast. Pennywise sat next to his wife while lying down in a sexy pose; exposing his garter. “You’ve been through a lot; ever since we’ve started a family, you do most of the house work... Since the other day when you were human because of The Dream Demon, I have to raise the kids myself... It was hard, and I really missed you. So you deserve some time off...” Pennywise got on top of Aquarius with his legs spread apart and gently removed her plate. “I took the liberty to send the kids to the Voorhees place for the day... so you and I can have the time for ourselves... You deserve some nice pampering... What do you say... Scarlet?” Pennywise asked with a wink.
Aquarius smiled in fondness since she knew that he was doing this because he was feeling guilty for the way he acted. It made her feel so loved. So she placed her hands on his cheeks. “From all the trouble you’ve been putting yourself into just for me, made me realize that I’ve been more loved than ever before... I’m glad that I became your mate...” Aquarius said before they kissed. Pennywise broke the kiss to ask Aquarius a question. “Can I remove this outfit now? it’s making me feel itchy and my garter is starting to block the bloodstream.” Pennywise asked with a little whine. Aquarius laughed as she agreed; since he had to remove it anyway for... Well, you get the drift.
[In Hell]
While the Satin Clown was distracted, Freddy was getting close into breaking free from the chains, even if he had to cut off his own hand to do so; after all, he is a The Nightmare Demon and his limbs will grow back. So Freddy Krueger escaped the carnie hell and back to his lair.
So at night, you can almost hear his maniacal laughter.
The End?

Jealous!Reggie Mantle x Male Reader
Summary: Reggie is insecure about his relationship with reader. Says some awful things and has to make up for it.
Toni, Cheryl, Kevin and Y/N sat at their usual lunch table. The four of them sat gossiping and joking about the goings on of Riverdale High's student body. The bulldog's have just qualified to play in the state championship, so the team would be celebrating at Y/N's house tonight considering his brother was the team captain. Adopted brother that is but Archie & Fred don't treat him like a foster kid. He doesn't think they're the type of people to abandon him. Y/N didn't think that about his birth father either but things changed.
"So Andrews…" Cheryl started, "What time should ma cherie and I show up fashionably late to your party?" Y/N laughed it off and told her what time people would be showing up. "Speaking of this party, the entire football team will be in your home tonight. Which one do you plan on sneaking into your room Y/N?" Kevin joked. The whole table laughed at that.
"Kevin, if you find another gay on the football team send him my way until then I plan on sleeping alone tonight." Y/N joked. The thing about that was Y/N knew there was another gay football player but that was their little secret. The other three had to go rehearse for the musical so Y/N was left alone at the table.
As he went to throw his trash away, Dalton, a classmate from his AP classes popped up, he was really happy and a bit out of breath. "HEY! Have you checked your email?" Y/N just shook his head no. "I got accepted into Harvard last night." Y/N's eyes went wide congratulating his friend with a hug. He fumbled pulling his phone out.
"Holy shit I got an email too," Y/N froze for a moment. Dalton urged him to open it so he did. His face was expressionless as he read the email. Y/N couldn't believe his eyes. "I got in...I got in!" Y/N excitedly hugged Dalton, they were officially Harvard students. Y/N could wait to tell his family. He made Dalton promise to not tell anyone. Making his way through the halls, Y/N is grabbed by the wrist and pulled into an empty classroom.
Reggie Mantle shuts the door behind them, he looks pissed. Y/N thought Reggie looked so hot with his jaw clenched like that. It was making him feel things but something was wrong. "Babe, what's wrong-" Y/N tried but Reggie cut him off. "Don't babe me Y/N, what the fuck was that out there. Just because I'm not ready to come out doesn't mean my boyfriend can flirt with anyone that flashes him a smile." Reggie's voice was getting louder. "Are you fucking him? Is that why I haven't heard from you all day?"
Y/N couldn't believe the way Reggie was acting. He rubbed his arm to try and calm him down. "I have no clue what you're talking about Reg, who do you think I'm flirting with?" Reggie rolled his eyes at his boyfriend and pushed his arm away. "Don't give me that shit, I saw you hugging that loser in the cafeteria. I saw how happy you looked and the way he looked at you. Only I look at you like that." Reggie was practically yelling at this point. Y/N knew it was innocent but Reggie was letting him get a word in. He felt like crap only ten minutes after getting the biggest news of his life. "Do you know I can have any chick at this school whenever I want?"
That last sentence stung but all of Y/N's sadness was replaced with rage. "Well don't worry about me wasting anymore of your time then." He shoved Reggie away and stormed out of the classroom. When he got home Y/N didn't have the energy to tell Fred and Archie about Harvard. Reggie's words were still lingering. He dreaded the fact he would have to see him tonight at the party.
Y/N knew Archie and his friends would be suspicious if he stayed in his room all night. He wasn't exactly shy. Music blasted through the Andrew's home with drunk teens all around. Y/N stood in the kitchen where things were the least chaotic. Everyone was either looking for someone to hook up with or too busy drinking away their sober problems. Reggie was one of those people, jumping up and down shirtless with the rest of his team chanting like mad men. It was annoying how hot he looked when he was doing simple things like getting his team hype. Reggie knew his ex of only a few hours was stealing glances, because he was doing it as well. Y/N stood there swirling the alcohol in his plastic cup. That's when Dalton called his name a little too loudly. Dalton was clearly drunk so Y/N was only half listening to what he had to say. From Reggie's point of view, his boyfriend was once again letting this guy flirt. It didn't take long for Reggie to pull some girl in close and make out with her. Bulldogs cheered for him causing Y/N to look up and see what Reggie was doing with that girl. Tears began to well up at the corner of his eyes, for a brief moment he was frozen. A warm wet feeling on his cheek pulled Y/N out of the haze and he rushed to his bedroom.
Reggie couldn't get the look on Y/N's betrayed face out of his mind. He started this so why does Reggie feel like an asshole? At least that's what he thought. Y/N sat on the bed trying to pull himself together. He didn't notice someone entered the room until Reggie's body was on the bed next to him. "Please...I don't want to fight, Reg." Y/N's voice trembled.
"I don't want to fight with you either," Reggie put his arm around him and pulled the other to his chest."...so just listen. I just really love you and I love that our relationship is just us with no outside distractions. What kills me is that I do want to show you off. Everyone at school should know you're mine and only mine so, when I see some guy touching you the way I like to touch you, and making you smile the way I like too it scares me. It scares me because you're the best thing that's happened to me and I can't lose you. Baby, I'm so sorry for talking to you like that at school and for the shit I pulled downstairs. If you don't forgive me I'll never forgive myself for hurting you."
The room was uncomfortably silent for a while. Y/N rested on his ex's chest. "Dalton wasn't flirting...we were just excited about our acceptance letters. I got into my number one school." Reggie sighed deeply. He stood, holding the other's hand pulling him up as well.
"If I didn't already feel like the worst boyfriend in the world that definitely seals it," there was sincerity in Reggie's eyes. "You should be celebrating and I ruined it." Y/N tried to disagree but Reggie didn't let him take any blame off him. "I'm proud of you baby and tomorrow we're spending the entire day together. We're going to sleep in til noon, I'll make you breakfast," Y/N gave up a small laugh. "Okay okay, you will make breakfast. Then you'll put on those shorts that make your butt look nice and we go to Sweetwater just you and me. After that, I'm taking you for a super romantic dinner at Pop's where I will announce to everyone that my boyfriend got accepted to Harvard. How does that sound?"
Y/N answered his question with a kiss. "We should go to bed, you're drunk Reg."
"Only if you cuddle me."
"You are a big baby."

A Day in Riverdale
A/N: my first cheryl fic! I’m super excited about it, and i had so much fun writing it! I may be writing some more riverdale fics, we shall see! And hopefully, I’ll be back to writing natasha soon (I am hoping to write the next chapter of your red-headed mentor tomorrow). Anywho, I hope you guys like this!
Promoting: Fanfic Night, tomorrow! There’s a theme for this one, fav author’s edition! And of course, movie night, Friday at 4pm eastern! We’re watching Code 8.
Tumblr media
The door to Pop’s chocolate shop swung open, the sound of the bell grabbing your attention. You looked up, a smile overtaking your face as Cheryl walked in, flipping her long, curled hair over her shoulder.
“Morning, babe,” she called in a sing-song voice.
“Morning, baby,” you answered, eyeing her perfect red lips. She swooped down to briefly press her lips to yours, before sliding into the booth across from you.
“You look amazing today,” you murmured, your eyes looking over her.
“I know,” she smiled. “But thank you, Y/N/N.”
“Maybe we should skip class today,” you suggested cheekily.
“And mess up my perfect attendance record? No, thank you.”
You pouted, to which Cheryl couldn’t help but smile softly.
“I promise, mon petit amour, we can do something fun after school,” she cooed. “Now, can we order, I’m starving?”
++++++
The two of you finished your breakfast and headed to school. You were a bit early, but there was a pep rally later, and Cheryl wanted to practice a bit with the Vixens.
Your hand held hers tightly as you walked into the building, greeting some of your friends.
“Cheryl!” Jughead called. Your girlfriend sighed and rolled her eyes.
“What do you want, hobo?” Cheryl pursed her lips. You gave her hand a light squeeze, causing her to soften her gaze, just slightly.
“I’m writing an expose on -”
“Don’t care,” Cheryl interrupted, a smug smile on her face. “Now if you’ll excuse me, I have somewhere to be.”
“Sorry,” you mouthed back to Jughead as you continued your way through the hallway with Cheryl. You walked with her to the locker room with no other interruptions, and stopped right outside the door.
“You’re going to be amazing, I can’t wait to see you later,” you murmured, pulling her slowly closer.
“You’ll be my shining light in the bleachers,” Cheryl replied, closing the gap between you two in a sweet kiss.
“I’ll see you later, my love,” she added, before turning and entering the locker room. You watched her disappear, a smile playing at your lips, before you turned and headed back down the hallway, on a mission to find Jughead.
“Jughead!” you called upon spotting him talking to Betty.
“What’s up, Y/N?”
“That expose you’re working on, what’s it about?” You asked.
“Maple syrup, the Blossom family business,” he answered. “But I doubt Cheryl will help.”
“I’ll talk to her,” you offered. He thought it over for a moment before nodding.
“Yeah, that’d be great. Thanks, Y/N.”
“Of course,” you smiled, before saying goodbye and heading to your locker.
“Morning Y/N/N,” Veronica greeted.
“Hey Ronnie,” you replied enthusiastically. “You’re not practicing with the rest of the team?”
“No,” she shook her head. “I have some other business to attend to this morning.”
“Oh?” You asked.
“With Archie,” she laughed lightly. You smirked, and then a certain red-haired bulldog caught your eye down the hallway.
“Well, business calls,” you nodded towards Archie. Veronica gripped your arm lightly before sending you a smile and turning away. You shut your locker and headed towards your first class.
++++++
The rest of the day passed slowly. You were much too eager for the pep rally to focus on anything. And Veronica had spread the word that La Bonne Nuit was going to be hosting a little celebration that evening, for the Vixens. And you were going to make sure Cheryl was the honored guest.
You sat impatiently in your seat, waiting for the bell to ring any minute. When it finally did, Archie met you in the hall, and you made your way towards the gym along with the rest of the student body.
“It’s gonna be great,” Archie commented as you took your seats.
“I know, Cheryl’s had the team practicing for weeks.”
“They all deserve the celebration tonight at the speakeasy.”
“They do,” you agreed. Your attention was pulled away by Principal Weatherby beginning the pep rally and introducing the Vixens. You and Archie shared a grin as both of your girlfriends walked out in their cheerleading uniforms, searching for you two in the crowd and giving you a wink. You blew a kiss for Cheryl, and the smile on her face told you that she saw it.
The music started and you cheered the Vixens on, along with the rest of the school. Their dance was flawless, it was clear how hard they’d been working. When they’d finished, they were given a standing ovation, and you cheered until your throat hurt.
The Vixens took their seats and Cheryl stepped up to the podium to give a little speech, as was her duty as Student Body President.
“Good afternoon students of Riverdale High! As your Student Body President, I want to welcome you to the pep rally! After a perfect performance by the Vixens, led by moi, it’s time to officially kick off spirit week! Let’s show some school spirit and pride, starting with a celebration tonight! Invitation only, you know who you are. Go Bulldogs!”
With that, Cheryl left the podium, with a signature hair flip as she walked towards the bleachers, towards you. You’d saved her a seat of course, just as Archie had saved one for Veronica, and Jughead for Betty.
“Baby! Did you like our performance and my speech?” Cheryl asked as she sat down next to you, her hand falling to your thigh.
“Of course I did, you and the Vixens were amazing,” you replied, brushing your lips to her cheek.
“Thank you my love. I’m excited to celebrate with you tonight,” she murmured, her eyes wide and gazing into yours lovingly.
“Me too.”
++++++
“Does this lipstick look okay?” You asked after applying the dark color to your lips. Cheryl tilted her head and turned to give you her full attention.
“You look incredible, that color is perfect on you. I’d kiss you but I’m worried my cherry red and your dark purple won’t mix,” Cheryl laughed lightly.
“Maybe you can help take it off later,” you suggested, before scrunching up your face. “Okay, that was lame.”
“It was adorable. You’re adorable,” she cooed. “You may not have a way with words, Y/N/N, but I love you all the same.”
“I love you too, Cheryl.”
“Shall we head to La Bonne Nuit? If we left now, we’d be making a timely late entrance.”
You nodded, standing from your seat at the vanity and then holding your hand out for your girlfriend, helping her up.
The two of you would be making quite the entrance, clad in the highest of high heels, dresses with slits up the sides and low necklines, hair curled to perfection, and makeup done to the most dramatic level. You’d be the stars of the evening, that’s for sure.
Cheryl drove up to the valet, getting out of the car and tossing the keys to one of the boys who was working. She reached back for your hand, leading you into Pop’s. You were immediately greeted by Veronica.
“Ladies, may I say that you look stunning? Right this way,” Veronica smiled, leading you towards the back, past the long line of others waiting to enter the speakeasy.
“The royal treatment,” Cheryl commented to you, smirking slightly. She deserved it, she deserved the world. You smiled softly, gazing at her with pure adoration.
And then you were greeted by loud music as you walked down the steps into the dimly lit speakeasy, your grip on Cheryl’s hand tightening ever so slightly. You weren’t a huge fan of crowded, dark spaces, and she knew as much.
“We can leave at anytime,” Cheryl murmured, her eyes focused on you, making sure you understood. You nodded, though you had no intentions of leaving for a long time. This night was a celebration, a time to have fun with your friends and girlfriend.
“Your usual table is ready for you, and your drinks should be ready momentarily,” Veronica announced. You both thanked her and took a seat in the booth, sitting as close together as you possibly could.
“Tonight is for you,” you murmured, nuzzling your nose against her cheek, before planting a kiss there.
“Tonight is for all of us.”
“Yeah, but it’s for you. You’re the reason this is all happening. You’re an amazing Student Body President and an amazing Captain of the Vixens.”
“I know,” Cheryl smiled. “And you are an amazing girlfriend.”
“An amazing girlfriend who has a surprise for you,” you replied.
“Oh?” Cheryl asked, her perfectly done eyebrows raised questioningly. You hummed, sliding out of the booth.
“I’ll be right back, babe.”
You sauntered over to the bar, feeling Cheryl’s eyes watching you carefully, curious as to what you had in mind.
“Is it time?” Veronica asked. You nodded.
“I’ll get everything going,” Veronica nodded. You thanked her and headed back to your booth. Cheryl raised her eyebrows yet again, but didn’t say anything. You settled back in your seat, leaning against your girlfriend, her hands around your waist.
The projector whirred to life, and it quieted in the speakeasy. Clips began to play, and you heard Cheryl gasp next to you. You’d arranged for each of the River Vixens to to film a small video, in which they spoke to Cheryl, thanking her for being such an amazing captain. Your girlfriend sniffed quietly, and you turned to see her wiping away a few tears. And then your clip came on the screen, and all of Cheryl’s attention focused on that.
You had poured your heart out in that video, desperate for Cheryl to know just how amazing she was. And you’d done a good job, that was evident by even a few others shedding some tears.
But then Cheryl was removing her hands from around you, sliding out of the booth, and quickly running up the stairs and out of the building. You sat shocked for a moment, before taking off after her.
++++++
“Cheryl!?” You exclaimed, catching your girlfriend after she’d run out of La Bonne Nuit. She didn’t answer, her back still turned to you as she ventured further away, into the street.
“Cheryl! It’s pouring!” You shouted after her, jogging in your dress to catch up. You grabbed her arm gently, spinning her around so that she was facing you.
“What’s wrong?” You asked softly upon seeing the tears falling down her cheeks. Her gaze shifted downward, looking anywhere but at you. You sighed through your nose, gently cupping her chin and forcing it upwards until her eyes met yours.
“I just” - a shiver ran through her- “I don’t want to lose you,” she cried softly. You furrowed your brows.
“Lose me? Cheryl, I’m yours, always. Why do you think you’re going to lose me?”
“I don’t deserve-“
“Stop,” you interrupted. “You do deserve me. You’re incredible, smart, confident, you’re the Cheryl Blossom, and I am lucky enough to receive your love.”
Your heart lifted as a smile threatened to overtake her features.
“You love me?” She asked, her voice quiet and gentle.
“Of course I do,” you murmured, one of yours hands falling to her waist, and the other tucking her soaked hair behind her ear. Her gaze flickered to your lips, and you took the opportunity to slam your lips into hers. Her hands entangled themselves in your hair, and you couldn’t help but forget the cold rain falling around you.
The world seemed to stop as the kiss continued, the party at La Bonne Nuit long forgotten. The way her hands gently tugged on your hair, the feel of her bare skin under her cutout dress- nothing seemed real or important anymore, besides her.
When a shiver ran through you, Cheryl pulled away, concern written on her face.
“Oh, my love, it’s pouring. We should get inside.”
“I’d spend forever out in the rain with you,” you breathed, eyes still focused on her. Cheryl’s gaze went soft as she took in your words, though her determination still won.
“And I with you,” she whispered, pressing a light kiss to the tip of your nose. “But we should get warm and dry. Why don’t I drive us home?”

Would love to see “I can’t get over how a few months ago I wanted to learn your name and now you’re having breakfast with me in my sweater” for Vasilisa?
“I can’t get over how a few months ago I wanted to learn your name and now you’re having breakfast with me in my sweater”
“Please don’t say it like that, people will think we’re eloping or something,” Archivist groans, stabbing at his pancake with a knife, “It’s not my fault that coffee mugs are a hazard.”
Vasilisia can hardly keep the grin off of her face as she props her chin in her hand, watching her friend with amusement. She had invited him to come to Ruthie's last night for an early morning breakfast, something that they both usually ended up skipping, and had been more than delighted when he’d come stumbling in five minutes late with fury in his eyes and coffee on his shirt.
He was fortunate that she carried an extra sweater in her bag. He was unfortunate that the sweater she carried was her beloved ‘cat’ sweater.
“It’s your fault for bringing coffee to a diner.” She waves her fork in his general direction before popping a piece of waffle into her mouth. “Which is kind of rude, given that they serve coffee here. That you can pay for. To support their business.” She gives him a pointed look as she says this.
“One,” he counters, brandishing his knife at her, “Don’t talk with your mouth full. I’m going to judge you for that. And two, that was a very special kind of coffee that I was looking forward to drinking throughout the day.”
“Did it have Bailey’s in it?”
His lack of response, alongside the way that he’s suddenly become quite interested in the decor of the diner, is enough of an answer for Vasilisia. She appreciates the other man, truly; his wry sense of humor, his obvious love for his job, and his willingness to sit with her for hours as she pours over notes for The Bone Collector has made him one of her closest friends in a very short period of time. What she doesn’t like, though, is the way that he’s resorting to treating his anxieties through detrimental means, such as putting alcohol in his coffee. She eyes him up from across the checkered table.
“Archie.” She uses the nickname she’s given him in a bid to show that she isn’t mad, just disappointed. He cuts another piece of his pancake and pops it into his mouth, still refusing to grace her with a response.
As the sunlight filters its way through the glass windows above them, she wonders if it’s even worth voicing her concerns again. She could, by all means, do something about the alcohol in the drink as a police officer. But this is her friend. He isn’t at fault for his condition, and she’d rather help him in her own way instead of the way the law dictates she should.
So she simply gives him a smile, which holds faint traces of melancholy behind it, and pushes her now empty plate aside. His posture relaxes significantly when he realizes that she isn’t going to pursue the subject, and he absently reaches up to fold back the sweater’s sleeves, doing his best to keep them from dragging into the syrup.
“You know, if you put the hood up, it has cat ears on it. I think it would be a super cute look.”
The expression that Archivist sends her causes her to burst out laughing, completely uncaring if the other customers stare at them. They’d work on this together. For now, they had breakfast to worry about.

WILD THINGS -OneShot
Tumblr media
Ssssshhh Sssshhhh
"We have to be quiet," Betty whispered as Jughead kissed down her neck, digging his teeth in harshly.
"Fuck that." Jughead moaned. His words vibrating along Bettys skin making goose bumps rise and tickle her senses.
Betty held Jughead tighter as she brought his lips back to hers kissing him madly in the janitors closet of Riverdale high.
It was a small cupboard filled with mops and chemicals and tin buckets. Making it really hard to move or keep quiet with all their lustful advances. They had no idea how they both fit in there, but it was the only place they could find in their hurried rush, during their free period.
Jughead was pressed flat against Betty's body wishing they weren't wearing any clothes. They had never done it in a cupboard before. Granted the gym ,the principal’s office, the science lab and the bleachers were all just as risky, but with only minutes left of the school day they weren't about to try.
Jughead's hands smoothed over every inch of her body while Betty held tight to his Jacket collar, making it easier for her to tilt his head and kiss him deeper. Their breathing sharp and heavy, the only thing that could give their hiding spot away at this point.
"God how do you taste so good?" Jughead groaned into her mouth running his tongue over her own. She was like sweet candy to him. Addicted to her sugar high and pink skirts.
Betty smirked against his lips raising her leg slowly up along his jean clad stalks and wrapping it around him. Teasing him to no end. Leaving him no choice, but to grind against her.
"I love it when you do that," Betty whispered breathlessly, grinding her hips back against his.
"You still going out with Archie tonight?" Jughead gritted out trying to think of something to cool his body down.
"Yeah," Betty said dangerously, running his ear lobe through her teeth, "but you're still coming over after that right?"
"Fucking definitely." Jughead grabbed her face roughly, kissing it just as the bell rang.
Like lightning both teens fell out of the cupboard, wanting to get out into the hallway before anyone saw they were in there, or that they were even together for that matter.
High school was a weird place. There was a status quo to keep. Reputations to uphold and Betty and Jughead liked to sneak around.
They had decided to go public for their senior prom which was in a few months and Betty couldn't be more excited but there was one thing she had to do first.
Tell her childhood best friend Archie Andrews.
It was a known fact to everyone even Betty that Archie had a crush on her, but Betty didn't feel the same way. How could she when the school's bad boy Jughead Jones had captured her heart as soon as he walked in the door.
Archie was her best friend though, Betty really didn't want to hurt him. So tonight she was meeting him at pops like they always did as though everything was normal.
Tumblr media
As she sat there waiting for him that night she laughed to herself at what Jughead would be thinking about all this right now. She knew Jughead hated Archie and the feeling was definitely mutual. She could just picture him rolling his eyes and cursing under his breath.
"Betty hey sorry I'm late," Archie smiled as he approached and sat down in front of her at their usual booth.
"Hey don't worry Arch I just ordered our usual."
"A Vanilla and strawberry milkshake with fries?"
"What else?" Betty chuckled back.
"Cool."
Then silence fell between them as Betty looked around the diner. It had been happening a lot lately. Maybe they were running out of things to say.
"So....." Archie began slowly. "Did you go home in free period this afternoon? I didn't see you after?"
"Yeah I did," Betty replied quickly, steadfast in her answer. No sign of a lie.
"Well I got detention so that sucks," Archie rolled his eyes laughing at the stupidity of it.
Betty was about to reply when Pop suddenly appeared at their booth with two delicious looking milkshakes.
"Thanks Pop. I don't think I could survive without one of these in my life," Betty joked, taking a sip of hers right away.
"It's my pleasure. Now you kids enjoy," He said in a cheery voice before carrying a chocolate milkshake over to another booth.
She smiled to herself thinking of Jughead and his addiction to Pop's chocolate milkshakes. He was the same as her. Couldn’t live without them.
"You seem happy tonight?" Archie piped up. Betty hadn't noticed he had been staring at her.
But in that moment everything was about to change. No one’s life would ever be the same again.
Betty's happiness would soon fade never to return.
No one had expected it. No one saw it coming.
But the end of the world was here.
Now.
Today.
At that very moment.
-----
The electricity went first. Even the street lights
All the lights went out in an instant, confusing people to start.
Betty knew Pop had a backup generator but when that didn’t kick in she started to worry.
“What’s going on?” Archie asked in the dark. Speaking a bit louder than usual to be heard over everyone else's concerned conversations.
“I .. I don’t know,” Betty said as she pulled out her phone to see if she could find any information online.
Maybe it was across town, she thought.
It wasn’t.
The more she looked, the more she read the more horrified she became.
Then all at once her phone died. Sending her heart rate through the roof in panic. It had been fully charged.
“Did your phone just..?” Archie began but when he looked up and saw people running out of the diner he got his answer.
Betty didn’t know what to do or say. Was it safer inside or outside?
She knew from what she had quickly seen on her phone that they were coming. Invading the world like it was their own and it petrified her to think they could be here at any moment.
“We need to go,” Betty decided frantically, her body starting to shake. “Now!”

Running out the door the world around them had already turned to chaos. Buildings were in fire. People were running and screaming.
A horrified gasp escaped Archie’s lips.
“Holy shit.”
They were here and they were going to kill everything on their path.
“I...I’m...” Betty looked to Archie for help for some sort of direction but he was gone. Fleeing the scene as she looked around. She was all alone.
Betty couldn't think straight. Frozen in her spot just watching everything unfold in front of her. As though she was just waiting to be struck down. With nothing she could do to save her own life.
This was it. She would die in the car park of her favourite place.
“BETTY ! BETTY! BETTY! - WHAT ARE YOU DOING?! GO GET OUT OF HERE GO!”
It was Jughead. He was shaking her holding her by the shoulders a wild terrified look in his eye.
“RUN TO THE WOODS I'LL MEET YOU THERE GO!”
What was he doing here. How did he find her so fast. The fact that he thought of her when the world was ending only made Betty feel even more drunk emotions. God she really did love him. That was the first time she had admitted it to herself and it could very well be the last.
“BETTY! ARE YOU LISTENING?!”
Jughead could see she was completely spaced out. Her mind shutting down from the whole situation., but he wasn’t about to let that happen

Grabbing her with force he pulled her close slamming their lips together. Hoping it would wake Betty up like it usually did.
His secret love and passion for her pouring into the kiss. Betty responded immediately holding onto him for dear life. Knowing it might be the last time they see each other.
Betty moaned as Jughead licked her lips slipping his tongue along her own.
A loud explosion breaking them apart.
“What - What’s happening? How are you here? where do I …”
Jughead cupped her cheek trying to calm her.
“BETTS LISTEN TO ME. GO INTO THE WOODS. YOU'LL BE SAFE. HIDE IN DILTONS BUNKER. I’LL FIND YOU,” Jughead said more calmly than he should have. But in the moment whenever they were together time slowed around them.
“I will always find you,” he kissed her one last time.
“I love you,” Betty whispered, her lips lingering on his. She had to tell him even if he wouldn’t say it back.
“I….”
——
Tears ran down Betty’s cheeks as she ran through the woods blood dripping down her arm and leg. Her side stabbing in pain her wound stretched more and more as she ran. But she didn’t stop.
Adrenaline pushing her forward.
She made sure the opening to the bunker was covered in leaves and branches and she closed the lid and practically fell down the ladder inside.
Thank god there was a first aid kit.

Betty cried as she tended to her wounds. Not just from the pain but from absolutely everything. The world was ending. And she was alone.
And Jughead. Had come to save her. But then …
She couldn’t even think about it. All she could do was cry for him.
Laying on the old cot in the bunker Betty shivered. Not because she was cold but because she was so scared.
She didn’t know when she would see the sun again. Lucky there was enough supplies down here to last at least a month.
THREE MONTHS LATER
Betty moved quickly between the trees trying to get back to safety. She’d learnt to run fast and never look back over the past few weeks.
Holding the food that she’d stolen from a nearby hidden camp tightly in her fist. Saving her nails from drawing blood, Betty prepared herself to fight.
She’d run out of food a long time ago and couldn’t live off berries and water any longer. But now she fully regretted wanting anything else. She thought it would go unnoticed but it didn’t and now she was being chased.
Betty didn’t know what the world had come to. She’d spent so long underground all she knew was that some people had survived and Jughead was gone.
Darting behind a big tree Betty hid trying to catch her breath. She Barely had any energy these days. She couldn’t hear any heavy footsteps as her breathing slowed and decided to make a break for it. With not very far left to go.
But as she did Betty ran straight into a hard tree. Falling to the ground. Well that’s what she thought anyway.
Coming to her senses waiting for the world to stop spinning Betty honestly thought she was dreaming.
“Jughead…?”
