But also I love Realisation Par, & Other Stories, I have a few things from Uncle Studios, Kitteny is also great for the cottagecore hoe in me, Arket always has a place on my wishlist, Dôen too, gotta say that yes you will find me at Zara because I think they have cool stuff that you can elevate your look with, Trois the lable, FAIT PAR TOUCH I AM COMING BACK FOR YOU, My Mum Made It, I am known to peruse Annie Bing, Pretties Venice, Coucou intimates... and well lingerie is another thing but yeah..

If I had it my way, I would also be a Prada girlie, but alas not for another couple of years.

1: Ive been interested in MOGAI pretty much ever since Ive heard about them. idk what got me into my first coining spree though. I do know I made my first flag (it had such a weird name I dont even remember) because I didnt know I was alterhuman and saw an angelkin exclusive term and wanted a version where it wasnt exclusive to angelkin but overall the same otherwise. if you scroll really far down you might find it lol. also the first place I shared it with (also the first mogai place I was active in) was the xenogendersandmore subreddit so,,, everyone makes mistakes tho ^^'

2: it definitely got way more complicated, idk if it counts but its not exactly from being in the community, what complicated my gender was when I stopped being public about it and then it got schmorphed and now every time I try to define it on my own terms it kicks me in the face like a wild horse. if youre curious my pre liom identity was gay asexual demiboy. now the only term I can use that would be accurate is just queer ^^'

Dark Academia is a complex aesthetic... Let's all think of as many sub genres of DA as we can. A lot come to mind, right? In this post I've tried to narrow some down. Hope you enjoy :) (& perhaps you might find the sub genre of DA that best suits you) ~ THE 1940s ACADEMIC~ These folks don't necessarily have a passion for ancient history or the classics… instead, they spend their time researching The Great War as thoroughly as possible. They wear brick red lipstick no matter the occasion. If you look around their home, you may find a collection of portable typewriters, or perhaps an envelope filled with old photographs of their parents or forgotton acquaintances. Their go-to wardrobe colour is either a rich brown or an army green. Cigars are their best friends, just like their idol, the newly elected prime minister, Winston Churchill. ~THE GOTHIC POET~ This person has as many candles as they do hairs on their head. True to their name, they spend hours writing elaborate lines of poetry, usually not bothering to change out of their lacy night gown, with ruffled cuffs and puffy sleeves. They are confident, flamboyant, & a sucker for Pre-Raphelite paintings. While their friend, «1940s Academic» happily taps their foot along to The Andrews Sisters, they prefer to stare at themselves dramatically in their looking glass, blasting Mozart until their stained glass windows begin to tremble. ~THE GENTLE FLORIST~ (Light Academia) A typical «Gentle Florist» will wake on rainy spring mornings & peacefully pour themselves a steaming cup of mint tea. They spend their evenings with a light read, accompanied by their cat & the warm glow of their vintage floor lamp. If they are religious, they like to help out with charity events at their place of worship. If they are not, they happily volunteer wherever they are needed on weekends. They like to have lunch with their friend «Gothic Poet» although their re-enactments of Romeo & Juliet can get tiresome after a while. Their wardrobe colours are dark greens, browns, tans & creamy whites. ~THE MAD WRITER~ (Chaotic Academia) A strong black coffee always helps to wake this academic up in the morning. They stumble out of bed late after an intense night of scribbling out ideas for plots and characters. They seem to fixate on the prospect of murder, which their secret lover, «Gentle Florist», finds slightly suspicious. Their room is littered with paper. Is that a receipt or an important writer's note lying beside the antique camera? We might just never know. They hate most people, especially crying babies on the train. They are brutally cold & sarcastic, but people can't stop falling for them. Their wardrobe colours are black, blood red, cold white & the occasional navy blue. ~THE VICTORIAN EXPLORER~ (Rachel Maksy has a great Victorian Treehouse vidéo which is a perfect example of this aesthetic) Picture a vast room, its surfaces clad with antique brass artefacts. Things like old gramophones, flashlights, clocks, globes & magnifying glasses. There are maps pinned on every wall, & old atlases in foreign languages amongst yellowed illustrations of the English coastlines. Now picture the person who inhabits this room. They love old hats & sunglasses. Perhaps they have tan lines on their arms from when they were out searching for islands in Micronesia. People say this person & «Mad Writer » had a mysterious past, but neither of them ever mention it. Their favourite wardrobe piece is their trademark, a pair of antique boots, perfect for exploring various types of terrain. ~THE INQUISITIVE MYCOLOGIST~ (Cottagecore X Dark Academia) This academic is obsessed with nature, but prefers to live in urban areas. They draw illustrations in the margins of their schoolbooks/ work notes of mushrooms & leaves & will often spend hours in the local library with their potential love interest, « Victorian Explorer », poring over mycology textbooks. Their favourite wardrobe item is of course their dark brown oxfords, with the laces replaced with red ribbons.

Aizawa Shouta 

-He really can’t understand how he managed to get such a fashion icon of a wife. 

-I mean have you seen the way this man dresses? 

-Head empty just Aizawa with pink sweatpants.

-Yeah so he really doesn’t get it how he managed that but he isn’t complaining. 

-I mean have you seen the dark academia aesthitic. 

-It gives Maraurders vibes and we stan. 

-He loves it when you wear long coats and those scarfs.

-They make you look like such a lady and so sophisticated and he lives for it. 

-He really likes the plaid skirts and pants, makes him think that he is living with an English lady or maybe a philosophy teacher. 

-Have I mentioned how much he adores your vintage book obsession?

-Going to old bookstores together and just browsing through the poetry books or the fantsy novels has become one of his favorite past times. 

-He tries to somewhat keep up with you but he struggles. 

-He really has no fashion sense but he wants to try for you. 

- “Honey you don’t have to dress up for me! I love you just the way you are.” 

-He loves you so much like omggggg!!!!

-Anyways. 

-Rainy days have become book dates where you just snuggle up together on the couch in a large fluffy brown blanket and you both have a book in your hands reading away. 

-He loves the little expressions you make when you are reading something interesting or staright up crazy. 

-He bought you your very own round -Harry-Potter-style glasses for your birthday. 

-You had been going on and on for some months now about how you wanted to go and buy a pair but you never got around to it. 

-Being a teacher at UA and a hero is kinda hard and a busy job so we get you. 

-You were so excited when he gave them to you. 

-Um for Halloween you two went as James Potter and Sirius Black. 

-He has the hair, okay maybe he is lacking that care free and cocky attitude but visually he does a good job.

-Seeing him in that suit oh boy. 

-Really your realationship is just full of Harry Potter references since you are kinda obsessed with that Era, especially the Marauders. 

-Hizashi is lowkey jealous because he could never get AIzawa to dress nicely. 

-You are special though!!

-You are the wife

-He does what you tell him to in reality. 

-He’s kinda wrapped around your finger. 

Bakugou Katsuki

-He gets flustered so easily.

-Like your aesthetic is so soft and angelic and compared to him people think you have a corruption kink. 

-He kinda feels bad bc when you dress like something god sent it because painfully clear how opposites you are. 

-He sees his rough edges and rude behavior more than usual and he may become self concious. 

-You will have to reassure him and remind him that this is a facade and that he knows your true evil nature. 

-You are a true menace.

-ANyone trying to fuck with your friends or your boyfriend? 

-They are getting round house kicked and yeeted out a window. 

-Back to your aesthetic. 

-Whenever he seas something pastel or colorful he wants to immediately buy it. 

-Especially pastel stuff.

-Pastel is your whole thing. 

-Pastel pinks, blues, purples, and greens. 

-He will buy anything, from a headband to a purse to a very very cute plaid skirt. 

-Kirishima and Denki are always so confused when he comes back to the common room with a few bags from womens’ clothing stores. 

-He never answers their questions of course. 

-He likes watching you make mood boards and create matching outfits. 

-Trying clothes in fornt of him is a must, a small fashion show taking place in your room every Friday night. 

-He likes to believe that you truly are an angel. 

-Your aesthetic is a combination of angelcore and cottage core so your room is split into two sides.

-One side full of plants while the other had pastel mood boards. 

-So pleasing. 

-You tried to shift him into your aesthetic once. 

-AND IT WAS ATRAUMATIZING EXPERIENCE.

-He looked so good in white and soft yellow but his mood was so so foul.

 -He had made you agree to never a) bring this up and b) try this again. 

-You have taken some photos though so not eveyrthing was lost. 

-You will never tell him that you have evidence of his cottage core moment.

How I Would Rewrite Fate The Winx Saga

Good god, I have to come on here and save all the 2000s babies from the cardinal sin N/tflix has brought upon us. It has shown me a good example of bad writing so as an aspiring writer, here is how I would fix Fate The Winx Saga,

Bringing Back Tecna and Restoring Musa and Flora to their rightful races

When I saw the trailer, I thought we were gonna get all the girls but no. No Tecna and whitewashed Musa and Flora. Tecna is the MAIN STRATEGIST of the group and in many instances helped them get out of certain situations alive and for them to not even include her is disrespectful. Musa and Flora were IMPORTANT representation of Asian and Latina girls and for their identities to be erased is disgusting.

Going back to the cute, fun light academia aesthetic of the original show

If you’re gonna have anything to do with Winx, at least make it light academia. Yes it can get dark at times especially with the storylines I have in mind but it should maintain an overall cute and fun light academia aesthetic.

Save the Trix for season 2 or at least introduce them towards the end of season 1

As much as I love the Trix, we don’t need to be introduced to them straight away. Let their introduction be a build up sorta like Junko’s reveal as the mastermind was. I would also made Stormy Black and Darcy Latina bc it’s past the era where we need to appeal to cishet men, now you appeal to the girls and the gays and the theys. Also, it would give us time to learn their backstories and motivations.

One idea I had for their motivation was that they wanted to attend Alfea despite being Witches to prove that not all Witches are bad or Witches can be just as good as Fairies with magic but a series of events turned them to the dark side. 

Give me GOOD, INTERESTING storylines

Give me GOOD SHIT. I want the girls to explore their sexualities and gender identities, not everyone has to be cishet. I want the Specialists to do the same. I want to see the girls of color dealing with some real world issues that affect women of color. I want to see the Trix trying to still prove that they can be good or be just as good as their more accepted counterparts.

Better Fashion

NETFLIX! HIRE! SOME! NEW! DESIGNERS! Why are the girls dressed like middle aged wine moms?! You don’t have to do the Y2k aesthetic but at least get someone that is in touch with modern fashion trends. Like, I’d love to see a cottagecore Flora or Tecna in holographic outfits while still being preppy. Like, the girls don’t have to dress the Y2k style but at least make them look stylish.

Character Arcs

Instead of the girls being the main focus of the show all the time, I’d give them some solo character arcs. Like Bloom trying to assimilate as a Fairy despite her earthly heritage, Stella dealing with the stress of being an heir and having to be her parents’ picture perfect daughter, etc. I also want character arcs with the Specialists and Roxy (I’ll get to her in a minute). Show me Riven and his family, show me Sky dealing with being the king of a kingdom and a student at the same time. Show me Roxy trying to get stronger but not knowing how.

Tease Roxy’s appearance in the later show

Just like the Trix, Roxy should have a build up to her introduction. Tease her appearance and save her for season 2. Have the Trix and the Winx fighting and she protects her beloved animals from an attack from one of the Trix and the Winx learning that she is the last fairy the teachers spoke of. Give me something like that.

TRANSFORMATIONS

HOW DO YOU REBOOT WINX CLUB AND NOT GIVE US THE TRANSFORMATIONS?! It doesn’t have to be a whole Sailor Moon type one (No shade, Sailor Moon fans. I love the show as well) but at least give them to us. The Winx could maybe do the little Wonder Woman spin or something. 

Honestly I think I should be paid for doing this because Netflix doesn’t deserve it.

i’m terrible at describing myself buuut my name is rose and i go by she/her pronouns. i’m an intj and a gemini who loves to read, write, and listen to music at every chance i get!! i’m super organized and determined and my friends usually see me as the mom friend in the group who knows everything and is prepared for every situation lol. i also play the guitar and love playing sports (especially golf, fencing, and tennis!!). i’m really dedicated to school and cannot wait to go to college (hopefully in the northeast area of the us because i love the seasons and general vibes from over there!). i’m in love with the dark academia aesthetic but also love that cottagecore kinda forest witchy vibe (and i read tarot too!)

i’ve decided to ship you with meeks because of how organized/driven you are (: and i’ve decided to switch up your hcs a bit to be about college instead of welton or high school

hcs:

college applications would be the most stressful experience, but with meeks’ help, it was not as bad (you both applied to about six or seven schools between massachusetts, vermont, new hampshire, and new york)

you getting accepted into all the schools you applied to, choosing northeastern university, and meeks getting into five, choosing mit !!!

a couple back to back weekends going dorm room shopping with meeks and his mom (he’d get a bit flustered at how “embarrassing” his mom was being while she would gush about how her baby was going to college and she was so proud of him)

meeks coming over during the summer to help you pack things to bring with you to college

this was a very long process (and would take all day) because you had a particular way of organizing what went into which box (you’d have to explain this to meeks like four times, and he’d still ask you before putting things into boxes, just to make sure he wasn’t messing up your groove). it would also take a while because half the day was spent queuing/picking music to play

after a long day of packing, he’d take you out to have a milkshake and cheeseburger (:

the next day you’d go over to his house and help him pack, being driven crazy by his nonchalance at just throwing random things into random boxes (“stop. take everything out. we’re going to organize this, or i’m going to organize this, even if you don’t want to”)

after separating all the things into labeled boxes, he’d feel pretty relieved that you were there to help him through this heh

before summer was over, the meekses would invite you to the country club a few times where you’d spend the days beating meeks in tennis and golf, drinking way too many arnold palmers, and taking long golf cart rides with meeks (:

helping him with move in day !!! (“rose, please be careful with my telescope !!” and “meeks, use the hand truck, you don’t have to carry three boxes all at once; you’ll never get up the stairs like that”)

he’d be amazed at how easy it was to unpack when everything was so organized in the boxes and made a mental note, striving to be more organized like you

meeks, of course, would help you move in as well (“meeks, please be careful with my guitar !!” and again, “use the hand truck ! those boxes are heavy, meeks”)

getting to know the people on your floor by doing tarot readings (:

when the poets came to visit meeks the first time, he insisted you be there, too (: you guys had a great night of exploring boston and sitting in boston common reading poetry

blurb:

things had been pretty quiet between you and meeks during the first week of term as you both were getting acclimated to your classes and new surroundings. on friday night, meeks would call you and ask to meet up, to which you, of course, said yes. he’d take a cab to northeastern and knock on your door after climbing the stairs to your floor. when you opened the door, he’d greet you with a huge smile and an even bigger hug,

“hey you,” he’d say, “how was your first week??”

“pretty busy, i’m sorry i didn’t call or anything,” you’d hug him tightly.

“yeah, i was pretty busy, too, don’t worry,” he’d laugh, and you’d notice he was holding a grocery bag.

“what do you have?” you asked, pulling him into the room.

“well, i figured we could both use a relaxing night in, and pitts said i could take the hi-fi, so i figured we could order in some dinner and listen to music,” he ran his hand through his hair and smiled at you.

“i’d love nothing more,” you’d return the smile and you two would spend the rest of the night eating way too much chinese food, talking about classes, and slow dancing to the songs on the radio.

My V is a streetkid and the first pic is from just before he moved to Atlanta. Back when he felt like he had so much to prove and no way to do it.

The Second picture is post game in my Fix it universe where he lives happily ever after with Johnny and Kerry. Finally a lot more at peace with himself.
