You motherfuckers don’t get it! These new age romantic shojos are giving us friends-partners level-ups within the first couple volumes! I used to have to wait motherfucking YEARS for our ML and FL to even voluntarily hold hands and kiss! Now they’re just doing it! Holdin hands! Kissing! All that!
Ultimately, this is all falling into what I truly wanted which is Post-Relationship Upgrade Drama. Some “The Graduate”/“what will they do now” type drama.

It's been so busy here that I haven't had a chance to read the latest release of Ima Koi and I'm just like I NEED ITTTTTT!! 😭😭😭
So here's a photo of one of my favorite ongoing shoujo manga because I can't wait to see what happens next (and the focus to go back on these two)!

Some more books I've read not too long ago 💚 Reviews below
Black Bird vol. 1 - 3 stars
I'm pretty sure this is one of the very first manga's I ever read and pretty much a lot of my rating is due to the fact that it was very nostalgic to read. On the other hand, some of the elements of this book can be very problematic to read about. Misao is only 16 and her love interest is a 20 something year old man. It's never clarified how old he is, but he also acts as a math teacher so he has to be at least in his 20s anyway. The other problematic part is that Kyo touches her without consent multiple times and it's usually excused for plot reasons. In fact multiple demons touch her without consent and I get it because they're demons, but it's very hard to read about.
Imakoi vol. 2 - 3 stars
I really don't care for the trope of the little sister that's obsessed with her big brother and wants to like marry them. It's really gross honestly. On top of that, this book was really boring. There's not much conflict over all. My sibling is getting rid of these books, so I don't feel a need to continue from here.

I’m gonna need every motherfucker who grew up as an only child to stop writing siblings I swear to god. If they’re the opposite sex, they do not need to be Like That.

Lenni Reviews: "Ima Koi: Now I'm in Love" Vol. 7, by Ayuko Hatta
*This book was given to me in exchange for an honest review.
While Satomi and Yagyu are usually the stars, this volume spends it’s time with Miria and Noda. Miria has confessed her feelings for Noda, who doesn’t seem to care for relationships until Kenishi, Miria’s cousin who is now a student teacher at their school, enters the picture and Noda becomes jealous.
Miria is the…
