im sure this has been done soooo many times but gffa au where anakin goes to the jedi council and fesses up to being married and they immediately think he means to obi-wan and he thinks they understood that it's to padmé

("how old were you when you got married?" "Nineteen, just after I became a Jedi Knight. I wasn't a padawan anymore!"

"Consensual, was it? Feel pressured, did you?"

"Not at all! I had to do the convincing. I really begged, for like. an embarrassingly long amount of time. I wanted this marriage more than anything in the entire galaxy."

"Has this marriage affected your reasoning during the war?"

"no way! We have the same principles, fight for the same things. Now I'm just fighting to come home as well so we can be together again.")

and anakin doesn't realize this until obi-wan gets back from a mission, does his debrief with the council, and comes to anakin's quarters with the strangest look on his face. "padawan, why did six members of the Jedi Council just wish me congratulations on my nuptials? to. my. former. padawan."

and anakin is gobsmacked and goes about trying to set the record straight, but now no one believes that he isn't married to obi-wan. they think padmé has agreed to be the cover-up because obi-wan got pissy that anakin told the council before he felt ready.

and to top it all off, now anakin can't stop thinking about actually being married to his master. he hadn't realized that was an option?? but everyone's making some pretty strong cases for it......

I'm sorry but who in their right mind could defend Alexis turning Sam AFTER HE SAID NO? HE TOLD HER TO STOP! HE WAS PUSHING HER OFF HIM UNTIL SHE FORCED HIM TO OPEN HIS EYES AND TRANCED HIM

Y'all are fucking insane for excusing Alexis' actions because "she's hot.", Sam had all the right in the world to call her a bitch and honestly he could've (and should've) called her worse because she is.

She assaulted Sam. End of story. AND she's not even sorry, she said it herself!! Now I'd get if y'all we're mad at Sam for calling her a bitch after she tried to apologize and if she was actually sorry and trying to make up for her actions but she wasn't, and I doubt she ever will.

You know those ABO AU fics where Jason and the Bats are either still at odds, or they've reconciled to a certain degree but still hold each other at arms length? But then they unwittingly stumble across the fact that Jason is an Omega, and basically kidnap him back home and suddenly everything is sunshine and daisies?

I need like, an entire rec of fics where that very adamantly does not happen.

I need fics where Jason is unable to reconcile their sudden acceptance with the sorry state of their relationship before they found out, and their absolute lack of effort to fix it beforehand.

But most importantly, I need fics where he simply cannot stomach to have Bruce at his throat after he literally cut it open.

Also Lanolin: apparently can't even ask Tangle to stop playing with the paddleball because it annoys her before resorting to physically punting it away from her.

That scene has become for me the equivalent of Sonic smugly "well ackshually"ing to Tails that he couldn't have predicted that freeing Metal would have gone badly

like. it's a very small moment. insignificant. doesn't influence the story in any way. you could cover it with one hand and not lose anything worth reading. it's a small scene played for laugh, as a transition. i am aware.

but it pisses me off lmao

Tangle has been reduced to the level of a kid who only wants to play which alone annoys me because if you re-read her introduction that's not the same character... and that is nothing compared to Lanolin actually treating her like a ill-behaving child, mortifying her, with nothing but pure contempt twisting her face.

WHO ARE YOU???? WHY ARE YOU SO FUCKING RUDE. ASK HER TO STOP. SPEAK. NUDGE HER IF YOU HAVE TO. YOU ARE NOT THEIR MOM AND IF YOU WERE YOU'D BE A SHITTY MOM BECAUSE NOT EVEN TODDLERS DESERVE TO BE TREATED LIKE THAT.

I have reached the conclusion upon seeing one screenshot from Playboyy that I hate Jump and Porsche's supposed relationship and story arc on so many levels that it had broken through how little I care about them to make me angry. What the actual fuck is this nonsense?! Starts out as blackmail and abuse that Jump is very clear about not wanting and not liking and Porsche just using him and then Porsche is in love and no, don't ask when or if the show ever showed it before telling us because it certainly the fuck did not and then Jump gets to hurt him back and be the one with power with the implication that he still didn't care but now! Now he's seeking love and apparently Porsche grew on him when they were offscreen and he's smiling into the kiss and sharing food and fuck that noise. I hate it here. It makes no sense and in a bad way.

No, seriously. I'm so frustrated by this because it didn't follow the characters. None of it makes sense with the characters as they are (or were) and any supposed growth that lead to this wasn't shown or discussed or even present in the show. Ugh.

I thought GMMTV might have limited Only Friends and that created the character issues but honestly, if anything, Only Friends had better character.

I really think this whole thing is leading to happy endings all around and even less ironically than Only Friends did, frankly. There isn't anyone in this show who even compares to Boston.
