They are also numerously found in industrial samples. Their size ranges from a few ìm to few tens µm. In the work of Dekkers, faceted inclusions are further classified as octahedral (Fig. 1 (a)) or non-octahedral (Fig. 1 (b)). The reason is the belief that corundum, which cannot develop an octahedral habit, is not the only Al2O3 phase present in liquid steel. Other Al2O3 polymorphs could explain the presence of octahedral inclusions. The facets appear in the crystal habit as a result of slower growth rate, and the subsequent ability of the crystal to arrange the incoming growth units in the configuration that minimises the surface energy. Such growth conditions are obtained at lower supersaturation degree. From that point of view, faceted inclusions cannot be formed during cooling. Also, the size of the polygonal inclusions was found to be independent on the cooling rate of the Fe. As a result of different supersaturation degrees during the growth of the polyhedral crystal, flat, concave or hopper faces (Fig. 1 (c)) on the octahedral inclusions were observed. Large faceted inclusions can also result from the sintering and densification processes of aggregates. Overgrowth of plate-like inclusions or dendrites was occasionally observed on small octahedral inclusions.

The draft should not exist. Drafting people into the military is a violation of human rights. You should not be able to force someone to risk their life. If you can't find enough people who care about a conflict to keep it going then it simply shouldn't keep going. You can't even force someone to donate a kidney using government power, why the fuck can you force them to donate their whole body and life to a cause they don't agree with or don't care about?

I Have Found A Solution!

So, obviously classic wizard robes aren’t wheelchair friendly. (Alright, admittedly this isn’t common knowledge and also this definitely isn’t a problem for most but listen, this is a problem for me and I’m pleased to present a solution for it nonetheless.)

The issue is in the sleeves and the length of the robes. The traditional trumpet style allows them to get snagged, dirty, and caught in the wheels.

This is distinctly not an issue with other mobility aids such as canes and crutches, these wizards are fine to carry on with their trumpet sleeves simply rolled up if needed.

Now, one solution might simply to shorten the sleeves and hem to be out of the way, but that looks rather silly so I won’t do that. Instead I propose the more elegant design of a hanging sleeve to maintain that flowy magical feel while allowing for better range of motion.

Honestly I just love the look of hanging sleeves in general and think more people should appreciate them, wheelchair user or not.
