We Will Do Better [Getō Suguru x Reader]

Summary: You come home late from your meeting to find Getō smoking on the balcony, trying his damn best to pull himself from a dark spiral.

CW: Mentions of blood, death, violence, fatal injuries below cut with implied smut at the end.

Coming home late due to one of your new subordinate's mess of a first field mission, only to find Getō smoking on the balcony of your shared appointment. Blood dried to his own flesh as he tries to resolve the stress of having seen another one of his own killed. You quietly make your way over, clicking your tongue once so as not to scare the executive, “I heard about Usui, I’m sorry.”

Getō sighs, eyes closed as he exhales a plume of smoke. The grip he had on the railing with his free hand loosens, and he pulls you into his arms.

“I should have done better," he murmurs. His voice was low and shaky, all but confident in himself as he tries to steel himself from crying. He can't cry—nothing comes from crying. “We, Getō. We should have done better and we will,” you whisper into his shoulder, hand lovingly rubbing smooth circles into his back. You pull away briefly to adjust, now with your back against your chest, he rests his chin on your shoulder. His eyes briefly dart to you as he brings the cigarette up to your lips. You take a short drag and he plants a kiss on your exposed skin as he pulls the carcinogenic stick away.

“One of my fresh shrimps got a firm beating, he’s in recovery with Ines,” you shiver at the memory of your subordinate whimpering even when sedated and all bandaged up. His right eye was swollen and his left eyebrow was held together with butterfly stitches. Getō straightens up at the news, arm circling you a little tighter as he takes a final drag before discarding the bud into the ashtray. You struggle with your next words, trying to remain brave and positive, “We need to do better. With training, with strategies—it’s enough bloodshed on our hands.” “We will do better,” Getō echoes as he kisses the side of your temple. “But what’s done is done. We start fresh tomorrow, but tonight, I just want us to be reminded how human we are.” You turn your head briefly, catching the solemn and distanced gaze in your lover's eyes as he overlooks the city of twinkling lights and subtle traffic noises. You parted a light smile before pulling Getō back into the apartment with you, latching your lips on his as you blindly shut the balcony door.

Excited akong pumasok kanina kasi makikita ko yung friends ko since wala naman pasok kahapon, pero pag dating ko don hindi nila ako pinapansin, may iba silang mundo. Ano nga ba kasing ginagawa ko don? Hindi ba dapat sanay na akong mag isa? Lalaki sila babae ako hindi dapat ako sumasabit sa buhay ng iba. Pero yung promises na na build ito nanaman, nawawala nanaman sila parang yung dati nag fafade yung friendship na na-build ko, sa lahat ng changes ito talaga kinakatakutan ko yung mag bago yung mga kaibigan ko, yung mawala sila. Pero diba? Sabi sakin yun lang ang permanente sa mundo lahat nag babago. Ayaw kong mawala sila pero hindi naman ako sigurado kung kaibigan ba talaga nila ako eh. O ako lang talaga mahilig na mag assume na lahat ng mga nakakasama ko kaibigan ko na.

Nag decide yung group namin na pumunta dito sa bahay para kumain pagkatapos namin kausapin yung baranggay captain para sa services na gagawin namin next week (project namin sa P.E napaka pa major) bago yon kumain muna kami sa jollibee, nag pabili nalang ako ng order ko kasi hiya akong mag order pag labas namin nakita namin si crush. So ayo nag start silang asarin ako, nauna na yung iabang ka groupo namin sa meeting place pero dahil nag kanda walaan hinanap ko sila and it turns out mag kakasama na sila umuulan kaya medyo nabasa ako.

Tapos kanina kasi ka group ko ulit yung kaibigan ko na gusto ko noon, ininvite ko siya s bahay sabi niya pupunta siya pero tinamad naman hindi na tuloy siya pumunta, nag rason pa ng weird reasoning. Sabagay wala na rin akong pake alam grade niya naman yon eh, I have nothing to do with it since it's his life. Dapat ganyan, pero hindi. Nagaalala ako kasi baka bumagsak siya. Ang tanga ko.

Ewan ko kung stressful ba tong araw na to napaka mixed ng emotions ko to the point na hindi ko alam kung malulungkot ba ako kasi nawawala na yung mga kaibigang trinetreasure ko or masaya ako kasi nag enjoy ako ngayong araw kahit replacement lang namn ng thoughts ko yung nangyari ngayon.

Das ist der Große Sonnenbuddha im großen Osttempel Todaiji des alten japanischen Buddhismus der 6 Nara Schulen. Dort heißt er Maha Birushana. Das ist eine Transkription aus dem Sanskrit. Später wurde er ins Chinesische übersetzt und dann wortwörtlich großer Sonnenbuddha benannt. Er ist die Quelle der Reiki-Kraft in der Usui Reiki-Heilmethode. Diese Tatsache konnte ich über meine Buddhismus-Forschungen in Japan zwischen 1996 bis 1999 herausfinden, weil das Meistersymbol Daikomyo ein Inbegriff für diesen großen Sonnenbuddha ist. Die Erforschung der Quellen und Ursprünge der Reiki Heilmethode ist der Weg meines Herzens. 😌🧘🏽‍♂️🌞 This is the Great Sun Buddha in the large east temple Todaiji of the old Japanese Buddhism of the 6 Nara schools. - This goes through her digestive system which takes the bad parts out then purifies it. This cannot be done by someone without said power.

- If she leaves an injury for too long then it cannot be regenerated

- Phantom, meanwhile, is the opposite, having no filter and usually trying to annoy everyone else. It mainly likes to play tricks on people and finds joy in watching people derive into madness over being taunted.

- If asked for advice, usually will reply with "kys" even if it's Phantom.

Species - Demon in a doll's body.

Power - Can create voids that it can warp through, also has the abilities of illusions. These voids can only be seen by itself and anyone it's connected with.

Possible Malfunctions - If it loses all 3 of its hearts then it dies and its entire existence is erased.

Hallo ihr lieben Reiki Freunde, die Schriftzeichen auf der Säule heißen wahrhaftig siegreicher großer Geist. Damit ist der große schamanische Wolf gemeint. Irgendwie erinnert das untere Zeichen für Geist oder Spirit auch an das Chokurei Symbol der Kraftverstärkung in der Reiki-Heilmethode. Aber es einen direkten Zusammenhang zwischen den beiden Symbolen gibt, ist nicht belegt.
