Grease:Rise Of The Pink Ladies HeadCanon

Richie and Jane is totally the mom and dad of the groups. I don’t know I just get this vibe from them. Especially since both of them are the older siblings.

Gil is the older brother. Nothing left to say, I mean he’s surely not the type of friend that’s is kinda like the dad of the group. Plus as an Older sibling myself I know there are two type of older sibling friend the one that is like a parent 2) the other is stickily like an older sibling which is what Gil is.

Richie is a daddy girl, I can’t help but picture him having girls and one son.

Richie is the soft parent and Jane is the strict one but she can be soft too.

Richie and Jane are high school sweethearts that got married young. I loved the idea because I feel like even though Jane wants to go to college I do think she would shock everyone on marrying Richie before she start college.

Richie and Fran has a good sister & brother relationship . And he is very protective of her like he is of Olivia.

Gil was the one that Rizzo told him about the pregnancy scare and he realize that she lie about Kenickie not being the father truly means that she really does love him.

Richie, Gil,Potato & Shy Guy has meet Danny,Kenickie, Putzie & Sonny when they came to visit their families and hung out at the Facciano. The same thing could be said about the pink ladies meeting the new pink ladies group.

Lips or Floyd for the HC question!

Why not both?

A few spoilers to Muppets Mayhem, the shows been out for a while now and come June/June 10th I’m probably gonna stop putting spoiler warnings in my post buuuut just incase for anyone who hasn’t seen it

Lips:

-So Lips is shown to have a lot of connections in the latest series, so I think it’d be funny to imagine Lips also having dated a bunch of big shot names before he joined the band. Of course all broke up on friendly terms and Lips continues to have very happy catch up chats with his many famous ex’s when they bump into each other (the band are shocked every time) 

-I feel like he’s got a proper dad bod, he’s got a healthy amount of chub and is so body positivity 

-Since he knows so many people in Muppets Mayhem I think it’d be neat if he knew how to speak a few other languages. Once again it shocks the band everytime, but it’s still helpful to have a guy who can speak Mexican when you end up chasing after your drummer whose after a squirrel. Possibly also know about sign language and things like stimming since he might have had to work with kids who where mute and or on the spectrum 

-The best hair routine and care his hair is like touching cloud nine 

-Such a dramatic worry wort always jumping to the worst case scenario, he probably developed this from babysitting kids so much as a manny (kids get themselves into the craziest shenanigans). If someone cuts their finger while chopping veg Lips has got the first aid kit and band aids ready before anyone can so much as stand up from their seats this man is prepared for everything 

-Speaking of which he’s also extremely hard to catch off guard. Working with kids for so many years this man will walk into a living room, see the tv broken, sofa on fire, a wild raccoon scratching the curtains and Animal stuck on the ceiling fan and he’ll just ask if anyone wants a coffee

Floyd:

-Occasionally smokes from time to time, likes to blow the smoke through his nose to show off 

-Him and Piggy are constantly at each other’s throats, no two ways about it. But there’s also a mutual respect that the two can just be themselves around each other. There’s no need to keep up appearances or pretend cuz the two know each other that well to know when the other is putting up a facade. Neither will admit this to the other of course or to anyone else, it’s a silent agreement between them. Enemies dynamic with substance

-Hates hates HATES Piggy’s dog Foofoo sm you have no idea 

(Floyd, glaring, scratched, bitten and looking like he got put through the ringer, holding Foofoo at arms length: God I hope you hurry up and go to doggy hell already 

Foofoo, alive from pure spite: Grrrr…) 

-Basically confirmed in Muppets Mayhem but total dad. He’s a lot better with kids then people believe and is a lot more responsible with them too. Whenever Robin is in the studio and he walks into the same room as him Floyd will always, always, flick away his cigarette or stub it out. He will actively shoot Pepe and Rizzo an unimpressed look if they start talking about something inappropriate and will - and probably has - cover Robin’s ears when Big Mean Carl starts screaming something little ears shouldn’t hear. He actually gets a little offended when people assume he’s not good with kids cuz…come on that’s a child he’s not that irresponsible 

-He rarely gets angry, getting him angry is a chore. Quickest way to get him mad is to insult Animal (that’s his son don’t you bring him into this-). The gloves will come off and he will throw hands, Janice will hold him back until then, in which case she’ll basically go “I’m not for violence, but-“. Not even Piggy uses it as an insult

"Grease" Backstories

Sandy Olsson/Yung/Dumbrowski

In “Grease Live!” Sandy’s family is from Utah, and her parents are extremely controlling, to the point of not allowing her to attend school dances. It’s believed that in this version, her family are strict Mormons.

This background works for most any time period. But if we want to tie her story closer to the ‘50s, and/or just want her to be from Australia or someplace else, here’s another idea:

Sandy’s father has a prestigious position in….some business or another. The “change of plans” that caused the family to abruptly move to another state/country/side of the globe happened when his longtime business associate was Blacklisted as a Communist. Mr. Olsen/Young/Whoever ended that partnership on the spot and moved his family as far away from that associate as possible.  He is obsessed with his family’s good, upstanding, “family values” reputation.

And Sandy of course just wants to be a teenager.

Danny Zuko:

“You’re lucky to have parents who care so much; mine don’t care about anything.”

This single line goes worlds to explaining Danny’s dependence on the T-Birds, and why he’s drawn to a sensitive girl like Sandy.

So why don’t his parents care about anything?

Danny is the result of a shotgun wedding. Dad the veteran unknowingly knocked up Danny’s mom just before shipping out to Japan. Mr. Zuko returned from the War with untreated PTSD, and a son he didn’t plan on. Because of the time period, Danny’s parents were pressured to get married. They don’t exactly fight, they just exist in a loveless marriage, begrudgingly raising their kids in a house full of untreated PTSD and substance abuse.

Kenickie:

Note: I have absolutely no clue where the Grease Wiki gets the “Kenickie Murdock” from. The name “Murdock” is not given to Kenickie in either the movie or the TV version, and I can find no evidence of it being in the stage version either. The only “Murdock” in the play/movie is Mrs. Murdock the shop teacher, and there’s no indication of any relationship to Kenickie, bar maybe the car connection. In any case, Kenickie itself is a last name.

Kenickie’s “Mom” tattoo is pretty damn corny, but if you can get past that, it’s a detail that drops a bombshell of backstory hints.

For all his edgelord behavior, Kenickie is stunningly chivalrous when he learns Rizzo may be pregnant. Even nowadays, a true asshole would run out on her. Here it’s the ‘50s, he wants to be there for her and his hypothetical unplanned kid.  Rizzo knows what a hardass Kenickie is, yet thinks crying in front of him is “the worst thing I could do”--worse than dating his enemy and telling him “it’s someone else’s kid.”

Here’s my spin: Kenickie’s mom died from some disease like Cancer or radium poisoning. It was slow and emotionally scarring, and Rizzo knows about it. She knows seeing a woman he cares about in emotional distress again would break him.

His father is alive, but absent, if not literally then at least emotionally. Kenickie was apparently gone the entire summer, none of the other T-Birds knew where he was for three months. The Bargain City he was lugging boxes at was apparently out of town. Who was he living with for the summer? His grandparents? A friend of the family? Who knows.

Betty Rizzo:

She’s “the school tramp” (“Grease Live!”) and the neighborhood thinks she’s trashy. Yet she doesn’t seem to live in a ghetto or anything, if the opening cartoon is anything to go by. She’s from a working-class family that just has a bad reputation, probably for incredibly stupid reasons given that it’s the ‘50s.

Betty’s mom had her out of wedlock and didn’t bother to hide it. She did eventually get married—to the neighborhood gambling addict. The last person to find out that this guy wasn’t Betty’s rea father was Betty. Since having that bomb dropped on her, Betty’s one scruple is that she doesn’t lie.

Frenchie:

Has a relatively normal family. She’s Jewish (because Didi Cohn). No one in her nuclear family has any numbers tattooed on their arms though; they’ve been in the States since the Twenties. Why does she have her own TV in her room in the ‘50s? She doesn’t; the Pink Ladies just commandeered the family set for the night.

What do her parents think of her academic decisions? They’re a bit exasperated by her dropping out, pursuing that beauty-school pipe-dream, and having to stay in high school a bit longer to make up for it. But it’s not of the world. Frenchie has a relatively normal, if sit-commy family.

Jan:

The only thing really making her an outcast is that she eats a lot and she’s quirky. Mom frequently gives her grief for her unhealthy eating habits and sketchy friends, but on the whole Jan has a pretty normal life. Or maybe not-so-normal by ‘50s standards. Nothing gets Jan down. Not being called “fat,” not being compared to a cartoon beaver, nothing. Her family doesn’t adhere to the ridged rules of ‘50s society. Her parents are beanik-y artists.

Doody:

His skittish personality runs in the family.  His father is hyper-paranoid that the Russians will nuke us any day now, and upkeeps the family bomb shelter obsessively. Dad has so much unnecessary crap hoarded up for the supposed Armageddon that Doody has no trouble finding parts for Greased Lightning right at home.

Sonny Latierri:

…has been flukning school a lot. It’s implied in the TV version, and goes universes to explaining why he particularly looks so old in the movie even compared to the other “teenagers.”

Putzie:

Even with your slash-goggles off, his character screams “in the closet” pretty hard. He takes ogling girls to extremes, and “jokingly” feels up Kenickie during “Summer Nights” in the movie. The only indication that he might be into girls for real is his admittedly adorable flirtation with Jan, and even could just have been playground-romance. Or he could be bi.

Marty:

Having boy-toys all over the world means that Marty probably has some familiarity with the different subcultures overseas. She has a feu greasers here in the States and one in Canada; a Teddy Boy in England; a drag-racing Raggare in Sweden; a Bōsōzoku in Japan; and a wildly-dressed Halbstarke in Germany, who sends her the weirdest gifts.  

Crater-Face:

…is not the token racist, because that’s just lazy writing.  

Aside from that, I don’t know that I can give him a serious backstory, because his movie-counterpart is just so distractingly old for the part. I jokingly head-canon that he’s a conman in his 40s hiding from both the mafia and the law, trying unconvincingly to live the false identity of a high school student.  

Or maybe he’s a cop on assignment to infiltrate teenage drag-racing gangs.

Principal McGee:

The tight-laced principal doesn’t want any of her students to know that when she was in high school, in the Roaring Twenties, she was the wildest flapper in California.

Mrs. Murdock

As a young woman in the ‘30s, she was part of a small gang of robbers akin to Bonnie and Clyde or the Dillinger gang. This is what led to her prison time. She got a shortened sentence for her work as a wrench-wench during the War. She misses the old times, which is why she assists the T-Birds in their illicit vehicular activities.

How I write - random thoughts

I had this epiphany today, that yes, I am aware that I tend to love one character more than any other in things I love, and it helps me be able to really focus on characterization more and learn the ins and out of how their brain works.

Examples:

I like some other Star Wars characters enough, but really I have always been pretty solely Anakin/Vader motivated.

Sons of Anarchy - I am a Jax Teller girl but not a weird self insert that sexualizes Charlie Hunnam. I am more the one that has 6 handwritten notebooks on characterization.

Harry Potter Marauders Era - James Potter. He is my favorite. Hands down.

Harry Potter. Trio Era. - Harry Potter - What can I say? I have main character energy?

Vikings - Mostly Ragnar. I played only Ragnar for a really long time, and I worked very hard on Ragnar''s characterization, but I also have written a lot of Vikings characters. But, along with Ragnar, I do love Bjorn and also Alfred, hence the allthekings thing.

American Horror Story - I'm a Tate Langdon, Michael Langdon, Kai Anderson girl.

History/Versailles - Louis the freaking XIV. I have loved him since I was a kid. Talk about main character energy.

Baseball - Anthony Rizzo is the only one I care about.

I really have main character energy. Supporting characters don't tend to be my thing, but I love writing with them. I just, put so much of myself in one character, that I tend to only want to write one character, in a fandom. There are exceptions. Like, I will write Obi-Wan in the Star Wars fandom, and I've written many others, but I stick especially with Anakin, Jax, James, Ragnar and Nathan as my big ones atm. Jax is just pretty private and insanely selective.

Missouri ranks last in the nation in starting salaries for teachers and 49th in state funding of schools, so low that a quarter of the districts have cut back to four-day weeks.

But the GOP legislators in the “Show Me” state have demonstrated their priority with at least 20 bills aimed at the LBGTQ community. Ten are aimed at restricting transgender athletes in the schools. That is in a state where just seven transgender students in K-12 are presently registered to compete.

"There’s more bills about trans kids playing sports than there are trans kids that want to play sports," Senate Democratic Minority Leader John Rizzo told reporters last week.

This legislative frenzy causes the father of one 9-year-old transgender boy—a soccer and basketball player as well as a computer wiz and all around happy kid—to feel his family is targeted.

“Our state government is at war with our family,” Daniel Bogard told The Daily Beast.

He says his son is otherwise fine, accepted and embraced and supported by his family, friends, and community.

“The only bullies in our lives work for the state legislature,” he said.

Bogard, who is 39, serves along with his wife, Karen, as rabbi at the Central Reform Congregation in St. Louis. Their residence has been his family’s home for four generations. He now wonders if they will have to move to another, more tolerant state.

“[My trans son] sleeps in the bedroom that was my bedroom in the house my kids’ great grandpa built and we’re afraid we’re going to have to flee,” Bogard said.

The bigotry is more intense these days, but it is nothing new. Bogard has been making the two-hour drive to the Capitol in Jefferson City for four years seeking to counter LGBTQ legislation. He often brings along his trans son, along with another son who is two years older.

“This is not lobbying,” Bogard said. “This is showing up and begging our legislators to stop torturing our kids and our families, to see us as human beings and have some empathy…Just to let us live our lives and raise our children as we and our faith and our doctors understand is best.”

Both boys go with him to legislators who seem at least open to supporting them. But Bogard keeps his trans son away from the hearings, where people too often prove themselves cruelly insensitive.

“We had a Senator in a hearing ask a kid about his genitals,” Bogard said.

He noted that this is a particular fixation among the bigots.

“How obsessed they are with children’s genitals,” he said. “What they’re really saying when they ask ‘what is he really?’ They’re really asking what his genitals look like.”

He added, “Then they look at us and tell us we’re sexualizing kids and grooming them. And we’re just trying to let kids be kids.”

Bogard says these bigots are more offended by a trans girl than by a trans boy.

“They live in a world that has a strict gender binary,” Bogard said. “It’s a world view that is deeply patriarchal and misogynistic. They get it in their minds why a girl would want to be a boy. The other direction, they treat those kids with disgust.”

On his part, Bogard is most repelled by the legislators who are not actually bigoted, but are only going along with it because it is expedient in an increasingly right-wing state where almost half the Republican candidates run uncontested in the general election and the primary is everything.

“How cynical and disgusting is that?” Bogard said. “They know they’re torturing us and they’re only doing it because it’s good for them politically.”

Bogard’s older son has testified four times on behalf of his brother and a trans friend, most recently on Tuesday.

“I'm here today because I have a trans brother and a trans friend, and I have to be here because you, the Missouri government keeps trying to take away what they have a passion for,” the older brother began. “Why do you keep trying to take things from these kids? Kids just wanna have fun playing sports and not wasting time being stressed and coming here to tell you to let them play. It’s been years that you have been trying to take things away from people that I love who are just little kids. They’re not competing for a scholarship or a job where most of the time they’re not even in a tournament. They’re just trying to have fun, which they can’t do since you’re trying to pass these bills. This has affected my brother because now he gets scared that he will not be able to do what he loves.”

He went on, “It’s affecting my dad because now he goes here every other week to sit for hours to say a small speech that might not even mean anything to you. It’s affecting me because I love living here in Missouri and I’m scared that I might have to move away… because of these bills. My family and my friends are just trying to live their lives in peace in Missouri and you are hurting us and scaring us. So please vote no on Senate Bill(s) 2, 29, 39, 48, 87, 165 and all other bills that are targeting trans kids. Thank you for your time.”

The 11 year-old was reading from a statement that he had composed on a desktop computer built by the 9-year-old.

“From scratch,” the father later told The Daily Beast. “With allowance and birthday money.”

After testifying, the 11-year-old stayed the night in Jefferson City with his trans friend’s family. His own family, including his 9-year-old brother and his grandmother, Denise Bogard, were at the Capitol the next day. The grandmother has Parkinson’s disease, which is a comorbidity with COVID. She had accordingly been very careful about venturing into public indoor spaces, but she risked it to join her son and grandson in doing what they could to counter the hate.

The family had surmised from the younger boy’s earliest years that he might be trans. He balked at wearing a dress and preferred his brother’s clothes. He was 4 when he asked a question that seemed to confirm it.

“He asked if God could make him over again in a boy’s body,” Daniel Bogard recalled.

Bogard cut the boy’s long, beautiful hair to his shoulder and then to his chin and then to his ears.

“He looked at it and said, ‘I’m a boy!” Bogard remembered.

At 9, he is what his father describes as “so well adjusted, such a normal kid.”

On Wednesday, the younger son was back among legislators who treat kids like him as handy targets.

“Trans kids are among the most vulnerable kids,” Bogard said. “They’re really easy punching bags.”

The 9-year-old then returns to the house where his family has lived for four generations and fears they will be forced to flee. Bogard feels certain that the elected officials he calls “these bigots and bullies who control our state” will be introducing additional anti-trans bills that are a greater concern to them than underfunded schools and underpaid teachers and fewer school days.

“There will be more [bills] next week and they’ll just keep coming because they all want their name tied to this cruelty,” he said.

Released in 1996, his is the second Muppet feature film directed by Brian Henson, based on a classic work of literature and released in partnership with the Walt Disney Company (before the aquisition of the Muppet franchise by Disney was really officialized in the early 2000s), after 1992′s The Muppet Christmas Carol.

Meant as an energetic adventure and musical comedy movie for the whole family, the film is quick to extablish the characters of Jim Hopkins, Gonzo and Rizzo as three on their luck tavern workers.

Rizzo is sardonic and prefers a life of comfort, safety and plenty of food, while Jim (who here is portrayed as a young orphan of both parents) and Gonzo dream of excitement travelling trough the seas.

One of the clients of the tavern, former pirate Billy Bones, dies, leaving the map to find the treasure of Pirate Captain Flint to Jim, while pirates burn the tavern down.

So the trio goes to ask the rich Squire Trelawney a ship to search for the buried treasure. Squire Trelawney, a person of unconventional mind that confindes in an imaginary friend who lives in his finger, called Mr Bimbo, is excited with the idea, and presents to them the ship called Hispaniola, that shall be comanded by Captain Smollet and his right hand man Mr Arrow.

Among the crew that Squire Trelawney hires for the travel, Jim, Gonzo and Rizzo meet the ship cook Long John Silver, a charismatic man with a dark sense of humour, who becomes a close friend of Jim.

The young boy, naive and longing for a father figure, becomes trusty of Long John, while Gonzo and Rizzo, neglected by Jim, feel something is off with the cook, because before dying Billy Bones had warned them to beware of a one legged man, a description that fits Long John, who has only one leg and walks with a cane.

Jim is the normal every person who acts and is a surrogate for the audience, that gets emerged in the colorfull world of the port, the ship and the island.

You get a nice balance of chaotic meta humour of the 70s version of the Muppets with dramatic acting and character focus that would become strong in the 90s.

While the main cast of characters is firm in being their roles and invested in their emotional conflicts, you get little fourt wall breaking jokes like rat tourists visiting the location in modern atire right while the movie is being made, Statler and Waldorf as two wood ship figureheads who makes about the movie and a small cameo of the Swedish Chef dressed as a parody of an island native preparing to cook the imprisoned Rizzo, Gonzo and Smollet while the vegetables say to the audience “Well, how did you expected we would put him in the movie?”

And being a Muppet movie musical, you can expect well elaborated numbers presentings fun, beautifull, catchy songs the somber opening villain song“Shiver my Timbers”, the I Want song “Something There”, the epic “Sailing for Adventure”, the hilariously random “Cabin Fever”, the intimidating “Boom Shakalaka”, the romantic ballad “Love Led Us Here” and the dancing relaxing reggae “Lover Power”, courtesy of none other than Bob Marley’s son Ziggy Marley.

This colorfull, age of sail musical fantasy with Muppets gives a strong atmosphere that reminds of the joy of summer. 

There is an entertaining combination of character drama, action, a touch of a horror atmosphere, romance and the goold old comedy that only the Muppets can, and it now enters in the list of my favorite movies, that is probably the best pirate movie ever made.

'...Close Your Eyes led the nominations alongside Andrew Haigh’s All of Us Strangers with 10 apiece. "PRISON GIRLS" es una serie que estoy pensando hacer en forma de cómics, basado en 5 chicas que fueron "encarceladas" en una prisión falsa, liderada por una secta secreta, en donde ellas fueron elegidas para trabajar como sicarias especiales, asesinando a gente aún más criminal que ellas; políticos, famosos, entre otros.

las chicas en cuestión son maitena díaz wang, concepción "conchita", alejandra valles torres, federica videla y jazmín belén "jota" ponce (en orden de izquierda a derecha en la segunda foto).

maitena díaz wang es una chica argentina-tailandesa de 24 años. tiene un carácter dulce y amable, aunque por dentro esconde un lado oscuro y sadístico, resultado de su infancia junto a sus primos maternos. es fan del anime y le gusta la literatura (principalmente, la poesía).

concepción, de apodo "conchita", tiene 27 años, y es una muchacha bastante loca, impredecible y alegre. se ve un poco tonta a primera vista, pero ocasionalmente actúa con inteligencia; solamente tiene flojera de demostrarlo. a veces, se comporta literalmente como un animal, y también se puede comunicar con ellos. es muy amiga de los gatos.

alejandra torres valles es una mujer transgénero de 24 años. no se expresa con facilidad, es muy tímida e introvertida. sufre depresión y suele autolesionarse. le apasiona la música y el arte, razón por la que la molestaban en el colegio (aparte de por dejarse el pelo largo).

federica videla tiene 21 años, es una joven bastante ruda, agria y quisquillosa, pero en el fondo oculta su cobardía y sus miedos. le cuesta hacer amistades debido a que no sabe comunicarse bien. es muy llorona con cualquier cosa que le moleste o emocione. hace ejercicio y juega al fútbol (es hincha de river plate). a causa de las drogas, ella es muy flaca y raramente tiene ataques psicóticos.

jazmín belén "jota" ponce es una joven demigénero de 26 años. actúa siempre con calma y confianza, y de vez en cuando es vulgar. cansada de ser la niña "perfecta" y "bonita" de su familia, los abandona a los 16 años para unirse a una mafia motoquera. es fan de los videojuegos, mayormente de los de acción. su género de música favorito es nu-metal.

unos personajes secundarios que pensaba agregar. se llaman candela rizzo y maría magalí nieves :p

en fin, ya empezaré con la historia, en algún momento :'v

Who does Caleb get along with other then the band??

I think one of the directors of Muppets Mayhem said that the series wasn’t a follow up to the 2015 series. However I do like a lot of stuff from the 2015 show so a lot of my hc’s for characters outside of the Electric Mayhem for this post are based/inspired by the 2015 series

Robin, Newphew (Rowlf’s newphew): Caleb is 16-18 years old, I don’t have a set age for him but I want him to be a young adult. Caleb’s often dubbed a backup babysitter for Kermit and Rowlf when both are busy. He babysits for Newphew the most as the band are frequent regulars at the tavern more so than the rest of the muppets. Caleb likes to chill with Newphew and Robin, he’s happy to binge star wars and listen to Robin ramble about the franchise (even if Caleb forgets half of the characters names) 

Piggy: I like the hc of Janice and Piggy being close pals based off that one episode where Janice let Piggy come to her areal contortion class (prolly butchered that spelling). Plus it’s implied in the same show Piggy grew up with a lot of siblings on a farm so I imagine - despite her very five star lifestyle of living - deep down she’s actually pretty unphased by kids and their weirdness. She’s also shown to be super caring of Robin so it’s not much of a stretch to think that if her and Janice are close friends she’s grown fond of Caleb, just a smidge 

In the beginning Piggy probably didn’t plan to get attached to Caleb, mostly cuz she didn’t need a Floyd 2.0 tormenting her when one was more then enough….but hey turns out Caleb doesn’t have a single snarky bone in his body and is a lot like Janice, in the sense he’s very laid back, a little obvious but overall well meaning. Caleb in turn thinks his dear old Auntie Piggy is actually really sweet, to Floyd’s utter horror 

Sam: So. Sam. 

I know there’s a lot of hate against Sam’s crush on Janice in the 2015 show but personally I didn’t have an issue with it. Only thing I didn’t really like was when Janice gave Sam a kiss on the beak, because up until that point Janice showed no interest in him whats so ever (that and she obvs belongs with Floyd the music video Home by the band is literally a Floyd x Janice video-). I think the idea of Sam having a harmless little crush on Janice is interesting, in general Sam having a crush on anybody that’s not a straight laced rule follower like him is interesting to me because I’m a sucker for odd pairings. Janice of course is 120% oblivious to his affections and views Sam as strictly a friend, and Sam is no where near scummy enough to after a women that’s in a relationship (Floyd is suspicious of him but Janice pats his shoulder and reassures him Sam is fine) 

Sam prolly learnt of Caleb’s existence randomly when he bumped into Janice who was holding baby Caleb and went “Oh hiii Sam! I was like, totally just getting some orange juice with my son-“ and Sam squawked “Your WHAT?”. Over the years Sam’s crush probably dwindles into just a very strong sense of care for Janice, sort of like a brother/best friend would, and as such since he cares so much for her he’s probably roped into babysitting. Since Caleb is like the only member of the band who doesn’t cuss and actually tries to follow rules Sam has a bit more patience with him like he does with Janice 

Rowlf - Rowlf is a very close friend of Teeth’s, practically his best friend outside of the band, so he was one of the first muppets to get to see Caleb when he was an itty bitty baby. Since Caleb also babysits Newphew Caleb is very familiar with Uncle Rowlf, he probably did shifts at the tavern when he was a teen washing glasses and dishes. Caleb isn’t a fan of alcohol so he likes to chill with a milkshake or soft drink at the bar along with Newphew when he comes down to the Tavern, overall they’re quite close 

Pepe/Rizzo - I know Pepe at least was the bands road manager in some older series, while I personally like Scooter as their road manager I don’t doubt Pepe and the band have shared drinks together and are good pals. Pepe and Rizzo are the types of Uncles who gave baby Caleb a lemon slice and told him to give it a try, resulting in Caleb bursting out crying at the sour flavour. Caleb…doesn’t like to be mean, but he doesn’t exactly trust Rizzo and Pepe (definitely held a grudge after the lemon slice incident), he keeps the peace with the two out of politeness but is much more cut and dry with them then he is with anyone else in the studio.
