I was feeling pretty uninspired the other day, and was having a hard time coming up with some new ideas for designs. Today oddball energy may bring frustrations to our life. Things we expect to go right could be a bit messed up. This morning the fan above my bed decided to lose its mind and get stuck making a strange sound. At first I was irritated that the thing didn’t work as it had before. I went out to the electric box and turned the electric off and on. I went back in and the fan worked fine. Today we may experience a glitch in plans, projects, expectations, physical things, material things that require us to stop and deal with it. Just know that higher wisdom when we connect to it will help us and give us the information that many times we need. Something’s can’t be put off we must take care of them right now. Don’t let frustrations get the best of you and whatever you do today take thought and care in doing it. Don’t take unnecessary risks now and work from a place of anger. Things may be different but that is not necessarily bad. Try to see the positives in the situation and don’t get overwhelmed. Somehow things have a way of working out. In their own way and own timing the best situation will come about. Have faith that the Universe has your back. Perhaps something went wrong so you can see how you will find a solution and that you aren’t helpless. Many times the Universe shows us that we have the ability to care for ourselves. What I really WANTED for dinner tonight was ice cream, which would have been so easy considering there is an ice cream shop literally in my driveway (see photo). BUT...what my body really NEEDED was good nutrition and grounding. ••• I’ve been in a bit of a (okay, I confess... enormous) mental funk the past few weeks as the reality of the enormity of my move to the opposite side of the continent has sunk in and the move date draws closer. ••• The downsizing portion of it has been overwhelming both physically and emotionally, as at times it has felt just plain insurmountable. So. Much. Stuff! Downsizing from a large house to minimalistic city apartment dwelling is no easy feat..especially when you’re doing it all solo. Woe is me. 🎻 ••• What I was completely unprepared for was the HUGE emotions that would surface when thinking about all I’ll be leaving behind to start my life from scratch in a new city...the friendships I’ve built with amazing people (my tribe), my hairdresser, trusted mechanic, the grocery store I love to shop at, my dentist, Maple’s groomer. The list goes on. There have been tears, immense feelings of loneliness, and more tears. This isn’t my typical energy, so I’ve needed to learn to sit with these emotions and remind myself over and over again that everything always works out as it should. ••• Circling back to wanting ice cream for dinner. When we are experiencing unusual amounts of stress or are sick, our bodies need good nutrition more than ever because stress puts an enormous burden on the body. As a society, we tend to nurture our stressed or sick bodies with junk foods rather than nourish them with good nutrition when it’s needed most. So rather than cave to my emotional craving, I decided to nourish my body instead with a delicious salad, ground beef with garlic, onions, olives & tomatoes, and for dessert I settled for whole fat plain yogurt with fresh blueberries and peaches which I ate while grounding outdoors with my best friend. #healthcoach #mindsetshift #nhtosandiego #hormones #stress #overwhelm #meditate #loa #itallworksout #theuniversehasmyback #sandiego

..meanwhile I look out and a tent has been erected over the jet body(minus the wings and tail) plus it has the big black house thing with lots of dials on it for temps I guess...looks like the whole farm is going to be roasted in it not just a pig...cows, sheep, you name it and I’m thinking maybe they should have arrived at 10 with me if they are cooking that much in that big thing...all the while I’m smelling grilling smoke ..still thinking..”I just had no idea it was this extensive”.. when Bride told me BBQ in my mind I pictured something entirely different???..I stay busy...still sought out with random odd questions..4:00 arrives...Bride, MOB, FOB , sis o B arrive...lots of booing and cooing about how gorgeous it looks...how happy they are..they are all the picture of beautiful-ness...MOB and I work on several final things ....she heads off...wedding starts at 5:30pm...4:45”ish” I’m putting flowers on cake and she walks up to me and says “ I’m not going to panic BUT this is not our caterer!”...I tell her...”just take a deep breath”... don’t go back in the kitchen...I peek in and I see LOTS of pasta salad shooters going into the trunk of the first arrived sweet girl caterer assistant...buns are being flung into her car...in goes TONS of plastic ware...cups, plates, those jigunda drinking cups)...I’ve never seen such an operation Fold so quickly and that 747 side body flew out of that venue drive in a flash...other caterer is pullin’ her van to unload in front of venue as I see the 747 tail pullin’’ out in the highway...MOB goes into Bride’s room, with Bridal party( I’m tellin” her it will not matter if anything or anyone is late..this is all going to work..which we all k is it always does)...I go in for my last quick snap of the Bride with her bouquet..5:20pm...in my car making the 45 min drive home...what a day... I’m so glad I do florals and not food...driving home I”m thjnkjng to myself “I wonder what the other party was thinking when the caterer was late...knowing how much it seemed had to be cooked in that big cooker???” ..wedding snafus!.. but...it all worked out...#deborahgibsondesign #weddingsnafus #caterers #catering #itallworksout

If you have done all you can then back off and let the Universe and our Divine Creator handle it. When I was a child my mom would make biscuits and I remember her telling me not to work the dough too much it would ruin the biscuits. Sometimes we can try too hard and not let things have the time they need to take place naturally. Sometimes the situation needs time and when we try to rush things or push things it makes a mess of it. Do what you can and then rest and turn it over to bigger hands with greater wisdom. Don’t make a mess of it by trying to overthink or over do. Just let it be...It’s all about the timing in life. Not our timing but God’s timing. Rest and have peace in that wisdom. God bless you!
