Okay, so Charmed had like four different potential spin-off plans/ideas and none of them really worked out obviously, but I was kind of just going through all of the episodes for ideas of what some of the supporting casts could have looked like (I’m gonna post it eventually, but I gotta organize it first) and just, hear me out:
Either Billie Jenkins or Hope from Little Box of Horrors is our main character. Both of them have very different personalities and appeals as main characters, so it kind of spins out differently depending on which is the main-main character.
Either way, they’re both in the main cast. With Hope being there, Darcy is also involved and remarkably level-headed about it. She’s still a mortal, but is often the one hearing about the gossip going around. As a result, she’s often the one who knows about innocents in trouble and when something suspiciously magical is going on.
Speed from Battle of the Hexes, who doesn’t know about magic initially, continually gets involved trying to help the innocent of the week and ends up in the trouble bit. He is so sarcastic, but he’s also ride or die for his friends. Once he discovers magic, he ends up encouraging the group to experiment with their powers, which causes a few chaotic episodes but he’s still a good friend.
Max Franklin from Secret and Guys is probably the most skilled at using his powers, but is also the most leery about getting involved in demonic or dangerous situations due to his father getting shot last time. He’s the voice of reason a lot of the time, but also is drawn to helping people anyways.
Aviva from the Fourth Sister is the tired goth grad student that ends up reluctantly mentoring them so that they don’t end up dead. She doesn’t have any active powers, but she’s still a practitioner. (Except where she ends up getting premonitions, whoops.)
They get a Whitelighter too! Eventually, at least. It’s either J.D. Williams or Mikelle, who was originally an innocent. Either way, someone ends up in a forbidden love relationship with the Whitelighter.
There are also some familiar reoccurring characters.
Kyle Gwydion is one of their TA’s. No, none of them knew about each other originally either. He doesn’t have really any kind of magical knowledge, but turns out that being the Chosen One applies to more than just Tuatha’s wand and helps out occasionally. He either is or did date Jenny Gordon, but idk if she’d be a reoccurring character or not since she didn’t really have a personality.
Y’know how I said, Speed finds out about magic eventually? Yeah, it’s not really a “we should probably tell you” thing. It’s more of a freak out way. And y’know what, Speed isn’t Catholic but his momma is so off he goes to a confessional because his friends?? Use magic?? Which isn’t that evil? Well, says a former warlock-current priest, magic helped save him from becoming evil, so now Brendan Rowe gets to help out with his unfortunately very in-depth and thorough knowledge of evil, demons, and the Underworld.
Needless to say, the Elders aren’t actually just letting a newbie Whitelighter be the only one looking after: half of the Ultimate Power, the Guardian of Pandora’s Box, a weirdly accepting mortal, a future whitelighter, a witch, a practitioner that did get involved with demons, and the Chosen One. And y’know what, there’s an Elder-who-used-to-be-a-witch that’s around their age, so Kevin from Witches in Tights doesn’t get involved but keeps an eye on them and on super rare occasions, will sketch out something to help them when they’re in a pinch. Jonnah (from season eight) isn’t very impressed, but is also watching them with Kevin and has to admit that they’re not dead yet, so someone’s doing something right.
Wow, Abi, you may ask. Can you shamelessly add any other oneshot characters from Charmed into this?
I’m so happy you asked, because Billie eventually finds Christy and the squad is all crowded in Aviva’s living room and Christy freaks out and now Aviva’s trash can is on fire.
Aviva sighs and calls Tyler Michaels.

"Siamo i vecchi che avevamo giurato di non diventare mai."
Per "L'ultima cosa bella sulla faccia della terra" di Michael Bible sono stati tirati in ballo Salinger e Faulkner: io non so se sia così, ma leggerlo è stato "un pugno nello stomaco" - come ha scritto il NYT.

Hey there!
Oh jeez, I really don’t read for fun enough, but here are some of my favorites that I’ve read:
The Catcher in the Rye by J.D. Salinger
The Sherlock Holmes Collection by Sir Arthur Conan Doyle (my favorites are A Study in Scarlet and The Hound of the Baskervilles)
Lord of the Flies by William Golding
The Old Man and the Sea by Ernest Hemingway
That’s all I can think of for now. Thanks for the ask!
What are some of your favorites?
