When the world of Y/n had collapsed like the bridges that connected Gotham city to other cities he never expected to find himself at the doors of what was a church, not a normal church but the church of Jeremiah Valeska.

He would not have expected to deal with the tests that were there as crazy as they were, not getting a bullet in the head fortunately or unfortunately, he entered the church and the life of what had become his god now.

The first time they had met was after the test, he had changed his clothes and was with Ecco and the others who had passed the test, Jeremiah had joined them to talk to the young woman and had met his y/e/c eyes for a brief moment only to stop and turn to look at Y/n again with a steady gaze, a mischievous smirk began to form on his face as he stared at him, proceeding with the things he had still to do.

After that meeting there were more with little touches from him and looks exchanged that made the boy frustrated and red as a tomato that led to private moments when Jeremiah behaved and considered himself a god and allowed him to honor him, worship him ending up fucking since that situation turned them both on and Y/n did everything Jeremiah said, taking everything Jeremiah gave him, giving all of himself to him and worshipping him with all of himself because Jeremiah had become his everything, his only god, his hope, his lover, EVERYTHING; not minding following the deity kink that he had discovered and the god complex that Jeremiah had.

Y/N continued about his normal nightly routine when suddenly someone's hands covered his eyes blocking his sight and pulled his head back. Y/N tried to pull their hands away, but it was no use, it wouldn’t work. So, he covered their hands with his. Their fingers were long and thin, and their hands were cold.

“Who is it?” He asked

inresponses He felt a feather, light kiss on his forehead, followed by a Quiet, whisper in his ear

“Guess. Who?”

A smile Spread across Y/N's face as he recognized the voice. The hands began to fall from his face allowing him to turn around, finally catching sight of the intruder.

“Jeremiah” he whispers in disbelief. He can’t believe it, He raises his hand and brings it to Jermiah's face cupping it, his breathe hitches as it come into contact with the Icey cool skin. He is here in Y/N's cramped apartment kitchen, standing with a confidence only he could possess.

“What are you doing here?”

Jeremiah smiles as he brushes an imaginary stray hair from Y/N's face “I believe I owe you a date”

“That was months ago before everything happened”

“As if I'd let that stop me” Jeremiah replies placing his hands on Y/N's hip and pulls him closer so that they are nose to nose, Y/N is unable to hide the shiver that runs through him.

“I always pay back my debt”

Y/N leans forward, finally pressing his lips against Jeremiah's cold ones. Y/N had thought about kissing Jeremiah again many times over the past month or so and now he finally gets to do it he never wants to stop.

The kiss stays soft just the barest of pressure, it only lasts a couple seconds before Jeremiah pulls aways. He doesn’t move to far as he places a kiss to Y/N's forehead.

“Now about that date, ready to go?”

“ sure, i’ll grab my jacket”

“No no Y/N now it begins” he grinned,swinging his pocket knife, running towards the other male. Y/N skill-fully disarmed Jeremiah, he was an assassin after all and a good one as well.

Grunts and groans filled the air. Y/N charged at Jeremiah with such force, repeatedly kicking the greenette in the stomach, forcing him to the ground.

The young boy held Jeremiah from his collar, hitting his jaw. Straddling the madman, Y/N kept punching him in the face.

“Why are you doing this?”

“...because I love you” he whispered to Y/N, tears starting to fall as he swings his arm for another blow.

Just as Jeremiah was about to land his hit, the railing which he was leaning on broke. Y/N tried to grab His hand but it was too late. The psychopath had already fell into the toxic green chemical, looking up to the love of his life one last time before he closed his eyes. Y/N looked down where his ex-best friend was.

You know that moment in your life that makes you realize or awaken something that maybe you didn't know you needed or didn't know you had inside of you? Like for example when you look at a person of the opposite sex that you're attracted to and you're like 'fuck, I think I'm gay.'

This was what happened to Jeremiah Valeska after he left the circus and was adopted by a rich family, taking the name Xander Wilde and starting a new part of his life, entering and attending boarding school 'St. Ingatius' there in Gotham; it was right there that the ginger with glasses discovered something he was not aware of until that moment.

It was a day like any other day at school, he was doing nothing different from the things he had done the other years and there was no change planned or so he thought until another teacher from that institution entered their classroom after knocking on the door and getting permission, followed by someone the boy could not see clearly yet, covered by the heads of his other classmates, but when he saw who had entered for second his heart lost like a beat, it could have been because of feelings or maybe because of Brian, the classmate sitting behind him, that had hit him on the head with a eraser catching him by surprise….again.

The person who had walked in was a boy, about their age, with y/h/c hair and y/e/c eyes, he was already wearing the school uniform and apparently was going to be their new classmate.

At that time he had not totally realized it, but simply spending more time together with the boy who he had discovered was called Y/n, had made him notice more things and when one day while they were rehearsing a school play script together and their lips had met without even doing it on purpose and he realized it or rater that day.

The world froze for a moment for Jeremiah when that thing happened but he didn't had time to think about it much that afternoon; that's why he woke up suddenly in the middle of the night, sitting up on his bed as he stared at the wall in shock and surprise muttering in a way that only he could hear "...oh damn, I think I like boys".

For this discovery he had to mentally thank his schoolmate and at that time best friend Y/n and his English literature teacher who had allowed him to meet the boy, telling him to sit in the free seat next to him on that first day of school.
